Our stay at the Mellon Patch was fantastic! The place is so cute and our room was wonderful! Chris and Michelle make you feel so welcome the moment you come in, it’s right across the street from Pepper Park Beach, and breakfast was scrumptious! Plan on returning here again!

Gracious hosts, very comforable bed, clean and a somewhat rural location that's close enough to everything.

We came to Florida house hunting and out of all the resorts and hotels we stayed at this was by far the best. The family is so sweet and make you feel at home. If I ever need to book another stay in Florida this will be my first choice. I felt like I was staying at a friends instead of being in a hotel.

Beautiful place, comfortable bed. The owner was very welcoming, and her daughter is adorable, best mini hostess ever.

Not sure what condition people tolerate or expect when vacationing or just a quick RR. Cut to the chase. Staff very friendly. Not on the ocean side horribly manicured premises the pool is a stand up. The only one I know in FL hotel. And the kicker places smelled like mold bad. Towels linens not fresh. Great staff would not ever stay again.

Cute, quirky, friendly bed and breakfast just across A1A from the beach. Michelle our host made a scrumptious french toast bake for breakfast.

Chris and michelle are the best host. Very friendly and can throw down in the kitchen. Will definitely be back.

Very nice B&B. Our large room was very comfy and had a wonderful bath. Our hosts were wonderful and even saved our breakfast for us when we got up late. They were fantastic! I will definitely stay here again.

Pleasant bed and breakfast. Good location across from the Navy Seal mesuem. Room and bathroom is getting tired. Bed is too soft. Breakfast is not served till 9 am, which was to late for us. Could be worth another star if prices was less expensive. Overall not bad, and very nice hosts, but I don't understand the sky high rating.

I love the Mellon Patch, the Block family was so kind and attentive to every detail to make our stay the best. I will send all my friends to stay at this hotel. They made sure we had every comfort needed to enjoy our stay.

The family that runs the inn is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are so pretty and the view is awesome. The breakfast they make is delicious.

Fantastic place to stay in fort Pierce. Everything you want for a beach vacation is right there. Tim loved fishing off the dock on the inland waterway. We walked across the street through a lovely park with a playground, tennis courts and paths to a beautiful ocean beach. Chris, Michelle, and Cady took great care of us and served delicious home made breakfasts every day. Can’t wait to come back.

I adore this bed and breakfast. Such kind people running this beatiful family business. Chris (the owner) is such a kind hearted man who with his family, opened his arms and doors for us and allowed us to stay at his beautiful home. The rooms are clean and newly renovated, the food they prepare is one of the best I have ever tried and the night life is great. 2 minutes from the beach, 10 minutes from drinks at the pier, but instant access to a beautiful view and an amazing star gazing at night. I recommend to anyone passing by Fort Pierce to stay here. You won't regret it. The photo below was taken near Christmas time at night. Their home is beautiful and decorative.

I couldn't book a room because they were full but Chris was still just as nice and helpful over the phone! Great customer service!

I am so glad to have the experience to stay at the Mellon patch it is a quaint but I have taken many pictures to show you how beautiful it is and what beautiful breakfast is you have at all times coffee is made for me and guest he has high marks and trip advisory he also caters for many people he is a chef at that he goes out of his way to help you as our owner should but beyond a owner Chris is remarkable bed so comfy the porch is comfortable he has the fireplaces outside if it is a chilly night which never much happens but it is there for you he has a great porch with rocking chairs great atmosphere what more can I say I just wanted to make sure the nuff gets told how much he reaches out to people when they stay I'll be back for Thanksgiving he's having Thanksgiving dinner and my husband and I will be back I hope this review happens to help it's a great little getaway.

The best place you can stay while visiting Florida! A true home away from home feeling. You can't start you mornings better than the home cooking of the owner every morning. (Best breakfast I've ever had). You will love staying here and never look for another place other than the Mellon Patch Inn.

We are used to hotels while traveling and tend to be private people so booking here I was nervous and did not know what to expect. I will never book another hotel room while visiting Florida! Hands down the best place we have ever stayed. From starting your days to some of the most amazing food personally cooked from the owner, to the home feel that you get during your entire stay. We were very sad that our vacation was ending and we had to leave. A must stay destination if you want to visit some of the best beaches literally a walk across the street! Stay at the mellon patch inn!

What a wonderful gem! I thoroughly enjoyed my quick stay at the is lovely place. Wonderful British hospitality too. Chris and his family were just wonderful. I enjoyed the pool, deck and back yard and it's a perfect place to explore Ft Pierce. My bed was an oasis and I am definitely coming back. I will recommend to my Florida family and friends for a quick getaway…

Best bed and breakfast EVER! We totally loved it and will be back for sure! We stayed at the paradise suite; our bed was incredibly comfy, beautiful decoration, super clean and awesome bath tub. We had access to the back yard, with a pool, huge yard for our little puppy to run free; the pool is nice, beautiful view with a doc to the waterway were you can canoe and paddle board; just across the street from a beautiful beach. The breakfast is INCREDIBLE! Chris is an amazing cook! His little girl Cady is such a cute hostess. The whole place is incredibly peaceful and the energy is great. We fell in love with it and deeply recommend it over any chain hotel! Wow! This was our fist time here and we will definitely be back! Thank you Chris, Cady and The Mellon Patch family for this very special weekend and incredibly warm hospitality! ❤⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Got a kayak rental here. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Couldn't recommend them enough! The rental was done through Lisa's Kayaks.

My husband and I are leaving the Patch today and I have to say it was the best vacation we have ever had. The rooms are clean and delightful. The family that owns and runs the Patch is so kind and attentive yet allows for complete privacy. We stayed for 12 nights to celebrate our 30th anniversary. The beach is across the street. We were offered towels a cooler and beach chairs daily! The area is beautiful. I walked every morning a few miles. Perfect. We rented a boat for the day at a nearby marina. I can't end without telling you the food was amazing. The owner is a chef by trade and the breakfast daily is phenomenal. Michelle and Chris and Cady are like family now and we plan to visit annually if not more often thank you Mellon Patch and the Blocks for an amazing vacation! Please don't ever change the warm family feeling you offer your guests!

My husband and I love to stay in B&Bs. We have probably stayed in about 30 in the past 20 years. That being said, Our favorite by far is the Mellon Patch Inn. The owners, Chris and Michelle — along with their precious daughter Cady, live on the premises. The rates are great and the keep the place This is perfect for us because we tow our boat down often. There are so spotless. To top it off, Chris is a chef and cooks the most delicious breakfast. The beach and the navy seal museum is right across the street and there is a nice public boat ramp about 1 mile from the inn. Many great restaurants and churches near by. Booked Prepaid for two nights. The two sets of stairs, the urine stained mattress, the smelly stained pillows forced up to leave after one night. Mg. R would not refund second night — blamed it on booking agent. (not true, we got a refund from the agent. ) Dated hotel and it shows. This is the worst place I have ever stayed. Two sets of stairs up to filthy mattress, flying insects, old thin bedding and a fan for cooling. Beware, anyplace would be better than this. I bet prior customers never looked at their mattress. I took picture to back up claim.

Great family owned place. Really enjoyed the stay and felt rested the next day. Breakfast was awesome. Beach access is right across the street. Lots of nice things to see in the immediate area. Will return for sure.

This was such a wonderful escape. It was exceptional. The rooms are delightful and the location is beautiful. Right across from the beach. We cannot wait to go back for another dream vacation!

We had an impromptu wedding at the beach and they took care of everything. It was fun, memorable and quite magical how everything fell into place after less than a month of planning. Linda and Michael Simos are a joy to work with. They had so much energy and attention to detail that we got them to cater the post wedding send-off party at my aunt's too! We stayed at their gorgeous Honeymoon Suite and we cannot wait to go back=)

I am extremely unhappy right now. It appears our credit card number was written down wrong by the gentleman that was on call. So in return he doesn't leave a message with my husband on his cell phone or anything no he has the sheriffs department all and threaten my husband for the whole thing. Which is completely unethical. A message is pretty standard when you call someone. A simple issue turned into something completely embarrassing. Mind you the issue wasn't even caused by my husband. He didn't receive an I am sorry or anything. All he heard was well I need this fixed because the owners are on the way into town. Dissatisfied and completely appalled by this whole experience.
