Great time! Pool and beach access. Front desk staff friendly and responsive. Clean rooms. This is our 7th year coming and we’ve always had a great time.

Great place but $20 to park is ridiculous. We went to go from lunch at pinchers and they still charged us $20. Every other Pinchers is free parking, even Naples. The parking is a rip off!

We stayed here for our first time & we absolutely loved it. The staff were so friendly & amazing, rooms were very clean, tiki bar had awesome service & fabulous bands, food was amazing & we will definitely be back. I would highly recommend a stay at Wyndham Garden Fort Myers Beach.

The internet is very good. Easy to use. Love the pool. Loungers easily available and towels at front desk. The only issue is check in. Usually delayed and rooms not ready at check in.

If anyone can actually see this please do yourself a favor & get a room anywhere else! ASAP! I first checked in because I was using one of those travel apps. & they came up as the best rated! But they ended up charging me over $350 a night! Totally ridiculous, I called my bank & explained what had happened but they said they couldn’t do anything about it! Not to mention the first night was under $100! So I thought that’s great, meanwhile the next few nights they were all priced at $350 & up & they don’t even tell u until u check out! Of course there’s no manager there of anyone in charge to talk to! They just put u off to someone else who’s supposed to be there the next day we’ll, guess what? That person doesn’t exist, basically a bunch of kids running the front desk & I don’t know how to get in touch with anyone who’s in charge there. Im sure it’s set up that way just so they can take advantage of people! Don’t even think about going there! And no, I normally don’t leave comments unless something is really bad or really good!

This is by far the most disgusting, filthy, outdated hotel that I’ve ever been to. Upon entering the room, my husband and I both discovered how filthy it was. It looked like it hadn’t even been cleaned. One of the biggest Issues with the cleanliness was blood splattered on the wall (see picture). I called the desk and the employee was not helpful at all and never even apologized. Extremely rude. The next morning I then called and spoke with the manager, April. She initially offered to move us and then called back a short while later and said that her general manager said that she couldn’t move us. She was extremely rude and argumentative. There were issues with the maintenance in the room as well. We had an issue with the toilet continuously running on two different occasions for long periods of time and the air conditioner is extremely loud. It sounds like a train. We are frequent travelers and have never ever experienced such horrible customer service and such a disgusting room. I wouldn’t stay there if it was free.

I loved staying here! The fun times were amazing and the restaurant was incredibly. Absolutely would recommend staying here.

We stayed for 5 days and our room was only cleaned one time. We asked for it to be cleaned but they forgot. The cleaning crew manager was very rude. The music was awesome every night. From our room we couldn’t see the water. The bar food was expensive and not anything great. Beers are 4.50. Go to 7-11 and buy beverages and a cheap cooler. I guess we got what we paid for. We would try somewhere else next time.

The rooms are clean, however it is a very
poor location. The construction traffic coming in will ruin your vacation before it starts.
We had bugs in our room all night biting us. When I asked management about the bugs I was told it will happen anywhere I go on the island. Also when walking to the beach you have to walk through hundreds of feet of hot stagnant water filled with bird poop.
The parking lot flooded with the evening rain which made it awful to get to our vehicle in the morning without wading first.

Room are great for the price. Beds are comfortable and nice. Close to the beach. The bar Pinchers, the food and drinks are amazing. Prices are great too. Highly recommend it. Front desk clerk are nice and fast. Property is clean.

We got there on Thursday and everything was GREAT, except the fact that they don't tell you that the hotel is NOT on the beach. You have to walk a mile to get to the water and for someone with some leg injury (like myself), it was almost impossible to walk that long! Then Friday and Saturday came along. The noise and the screaming of people and children at all hours of the day was unbearable! It reminded me of the Lani Kai hotel, which we went once and never returned for the same reason! Not for me!

I was disappointed with the cleanliness of this hotel. FMB in general has gone downhill. The staff was not very welcoming and hotel is ran down. If you don’t mind a sandy bed before it’s used, dirty floors and poor air conditioning, this is your place. 1 Star.

Best staff Jessica is very helpful always friendly makes you feel like family. The rooms are always very clean and the pool is very clean.

I'd stay here again. Great hotel. Clean rooms, hot water, great water pressure. Beautiful spot on the beach. Spent most of our visit at the pool. Tiki bar was fabulous. Ladies at the front desk are helpful and kind. No complaints.

We’re staying here until Friday. Love this hotel. Our room is big, and quiet. Beds are comfy. We got a beach view on the first floor, and it’s wonderful. Pinchers tiki bar is wonderful. We’ve been there every night! The staff is amazing, friendly, and they really remember you and make an effort to be welcoming and helpful. It’s on the quiet end of Fort Myers beach, which we prefer. I cannot day enough good things about this place or the staff. Would definitely recommend and we will be back!

We had a weekend event for our family. The entire staff was excellent and most accommodating with every request. Of special note: Nikki and Robert in Pinchers/events did an outstanding job of making my family feel really welcome and important. Highest praise for the entire experience.

Wyndham Garden Hotel in Fort Myers is a relative small hotel. It is located at the beach so you can walk out the door and stand on the beach. Breakfast is not included, still available when you pay. We can recommend it because it is good and the service too. The hotel has a nice pool with an outdoor bar. You can have dinner here (also inside) or drink a beer! Nice place to stay, nice people and the service is good!

What a great find! I stayed here with my son using reward points. We had family visits planned in Cape Coral and welcomed a nice beach mini vacation. The service was outstanding, parking easy, pool was great, room was clean and a fun place to be. My 6 year old son loved it, I loved it and the places nearby! Highly recommend:)

It is not very elegant, but it is perfect and comfortable. I have a view of the beach and the food is good. It's not too much traffic and house keeping is excellent. Management is just awesome and friendly, any problems are taken care of right away. I have really enjoyed my stay on the beach with wyndham garden.

If you're into the party scene and just looking for an easy place on the beach… this is for you! If you want to come with the kids… probably not the best spot. The beach seems like it is a mile through the sand from the hotel… so it's a long trek if you have a lot of gear. However the pool is a great option if you don't mind people constantly sitting outside their rooms smoking in fairly close proximity to the pool. People start hitting up the outside bar pretty early too. The rooms are clean enough. Could be better, could be worse. I've stayed here twice… The rooms are hit or miss. I'd come back with friends when the prices are low but my husband was one and done!

We love this place! We’ve held a small reunion (usually 12 people and 4-5 rooms) of childhood friends here for the 3rd year in a row now. It’s always clean and the staff is amazing! They remember us every year by our names and make sure we are all happy. The Pinchers tiki bar and pool side service is awesome and live music on the deck is fantastic. It’s a bit of a walk to the beach in the heat but it’s doable. We’ll be back next July for sure! We know to start making our reservations about 2 months out though. Thanks Wyndham for another amazing year!

Tired, tired, tired! Rooms are small, boring with old air conditioners that are noisy. Water draining front of the door. Beaches are beautiful, however Wyndham does give its guests chairs. You have to pay 25.00 a day per chair, really? Pool chairs were terrible, old uncomfortable. Wyndham you can do much better.

Far superior to anything offered in Naples and more enjoyable & affordable. Special mention for GM Jessica, Front Desk Mgr. Tanya, Housekeeping Mgr. Irene, Outdoor Restaurant/Bar Mgr. Eric & so many more. It's evident they all LOVE what they do. And do it very well. Plus directly on big beautiful HUGE beach/South Beach Fort Myers Beach.

Cockroach NOT a "palmetto" bug, which is the same thing! Yes we found and killed a COCKROACH on the 2nd morning and left immediately. We told the desk worker but she seemed to think we were stupid. I would have appreciated a refund of the 6 hours that I didn't get to sleep in.

Everything ok but when I check in the lady at front desk had a pig or a cow face & making a cow or a pig noise with her mouth when I mentioned the Red Sox. She mention she from New Yorkers. That was a negative attitude from a front desk to a customer paying over $200. For a night. She is a bad influence for the facility. I kind felt bad for her. Otherwise I’ll tell her my opinion about how fake puerto rica / Italian trash she is. If she was real she be working at a real job makings over $20 plus an hour. Please let her keep her job.

The bar that is next to the pool very good and the food is delicious.

We stayed for 6 days for Spring break. The room was updated and very clean, the staff was friendly, the food was great. They have a nice pool and Tiki bar with great food at the restaurant. Great place to stay with children!

This hotel ripof off they say free parking but they charge. $ 5 to park even if you are going to rest. I spent over. $ 100 last time I will ever go there. They better say the truth about there parking on there website Due not go there go to fish house.

No frills hotel, but the beach is right behind it! Good price nice staff. Hard to beat for the price, and right around the corner from a bar.

Loved it. Cant wait to go back. Spotless, great staff! Beautiful pool, pretty good food, little walk to the actual ocean, but this won't prevent us from going back. Comfy, king size beach front room on the ground floor. Loved the bed linens! Music on weekends goes on until 10 pm, but stops at 8 during the week. Can be a little loud, but with t. V. And a. C. It's fine. Water pressure wasn't great in shower, but with everything else, it evens out. Will definitely be booking there again very soon!

Not new, but adequate. On the beach. Very nice pool and poolside tiki bar. We were there by accident during an annual international beach rugby tournament. At first we were pissed that we weren't forewarned by management. The party at the pool after the tournament was absolutely crazy fun.

I give this "resort" one star, mainly for the clean sheets which wrapped the ratty blanket. We paid $269/night during "high season". Exterior halls and walls were dirty, and the paint was grimy, chipped, and needed cleaning and painting. The room was no better. With rusty refrigerator, dirty curtains dragging on the tile floor, filthy upholstery (I refused to sit on the chairs), tile floor chipped and sticky (from cleaning solution I hope), and the air conditioner whining high pitch all night, we barely slept. Of course the mattress quality didn't help. I felt like I was sleeping on a pull out mattress. Again $269/night. The place is a dump. I spoke to the manger during checkout, to let her know my concerns. She shook her head and said she would speak to someone about the airconditoner. Dump this dump.

Waitress Karen, was excellent, I don’t think I have ever had a more caring efficient waitress. She was prompt, friendly, checked on our needs as often as needed without hovering over us. We did not feel rushed, the food was very good and served promptly. I highly recommend this Tiki Bar for lunch or dinner, everyone was friendly and made us feel welcome.

Everybody here has been so friendly and helpful! From Tanya and Jessica at the front desk, to Sandra in Pinchers, and Terri and Chad in the tiki bar area. I would highly recommend this hotel, and plan on coming back! The service was excellent and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the oceanfront suites are awesome! The pool is heated, and clean, and you're just steps from the beach. Centrally located to other great restaurants and bars and shops to buy souvenirs.

We like Pincher's Crab Shack at the Wyndham. This tiki bar on the beach has beautiful views and solid bar food. The wait staff is friendly and the pricing is reasonable.

We came for 1 night for a wedding and ran into troubles when booking thru a well known travel site. The front desk was nothing but helpful. Thank you to Tanya who went above and beyond to help us out! Her customer service has made us want to come back. Loved the location. The beach and the outdoor bar was amazing.

We had our 4 day vacation first time to be at Fort Meyers and have been really content. We have been happy as we just charge to our room and haven't had to go anywhere or carry anything with us. If we went anywhere it was to walk. The beach is just outside our room. We walked and went shelling and found some really nice shells. We will be back. We just missed the sand castle tournament by a few days. The staff at check in and the staff at Pincher was really great and pleasant. The live entertainment at Pinchers was the best.

I stayed for two nights in a pool view room. My room was clean and comfortable. The tiki bar was fun and had bands playing both nights I was there. The restaurant has great food. Service was super. Can't say anything bad. I definitely will be back.

Reception might be a little friendlier. The hotel is otherwise great. Beach and pool complex very nice. Very noisy climate.

A place to rest and enjoy this beautiful place. Very good service, Aceado, excellent food and bar. It has a good location, easy access, with exit to the beach, has water activities and parking.

Great place on the beach. Very reasonable prices, nice modern rooms, friendly check-in staff. The hotel is literally on the beach but also has a very nice pool to relax around. Can't fault the place at all, especially at the rate they charged.

Great place. I love the time floors. The rooms are new. The shower is fabulous. The beach or the beautiful pool is right out your door. There is a very good restaurant on site. You'll be happy you did.

Hotel was very clean! Housekeeping staff was excellent and timely. On site restaurant Pinchers Seafood was delicious! Even thou the on-site pool was could not be used me and my kids loved that tje beach was right there. Great place and loccatin.

This was our 5th year staying there. We wouldnt stay anywhere else. Staff are super friendly and accomodating. Room and establishment are very clean and well maintained. Direct access to beach is the best and very convenient. Husband says its the only place with a giant American Flag outside. We just got home to Maine and miss it already! The rooms were pretty nice. The location itself was kind of convenient. Unfortunately, it was raining during my stay, so there wasn't much I could do, but I still enjoyed it.

This is a great spot to watch the sunset. The beach is amazing. Drinks are always 2 for 1 and food is good!

It's an alright, small hotel, with a sub-par location and a poor staff. The hotel room had two double beds, and a MINI FRIDGE. The mini fridge took a WHOLE day to cool everything we bought to put in it. The room itself was alright sized, the bathroom was probably the nicest part except… it had roaches! There are roaches that live in the walls of this hotel, and there are also a LOT of mosquitos in it or there are bed bugs. The restaurant is over priced and not that good, honestly the Hooters had better shrimp! I would recommend finding a better sea food place if you wish to try some. The staff was horrid, messed up our bill ENTIRELY and told us to call Booking (who we booked with) and Booking tore into them because they incorrectly charged our cards. Overall I would say the hotel isn't TERRIBLE if you don't mind showering with cockroaches in your walls, the mini fridge that takes a lifetime to keep stuff cool, room service stealing $10 from you, and no good staff. I would give this place a 1 star but I will say one good thing, the Wifi was excellent.

This resort may be 3-4 stars but some of the perks I get in 2 star hotels are not available at this place. Wine drinkers bring your own bottle opener if you decide to stay here the staff make it clear no such service is available you need to go down the road and get your own. I give it 2 stars because that's how They make you feel. Don't expect much.

Room was comfortable and clean, and quiet enough at night with the air conditioner on. Hotel staff made beds and changed towels and toiletries in the morning. The pool was clean and very warm. You can access the beach right from the hotel which is awesome. The restaurant by the pool has extremely limited vegan/vegetarian options (talking like house salad without cheese lol) and I would not recommend the margaritas, otherwise, the service was good.

Hotel directly at the beach, has a small pool and indoor — outdoor restaurant. It has a kid eats free policy but during our stay we had to pay for the first evening. Didn't know about the kids for free policy. It isn't advertised in the restaurant but it is stated on the van in front of the hotel. The beds are good, queens are somewhat small when your used to king size. Rooms have a table with two chairs inside and two chairs outside. You have a few choices in views, poolside, parking side, garden side or beach side. We got garden side which was ideal for our three years old son. He could play there when we were sitting outside. We had no bath.

My family and I came down for my parents 20th anniversary. Had an awesome stay, we love Fort Myers Beach, totally coming back for spring break, we did have one unfortunately incident, the driver of cab company the front office called for us kept hitting on my kid sister, Adam was his name, freaked her out so much, she got out of the cab. Porter's Taxi, was the name of it we made a complaint with local law enforcement, then flew back to South Bend. My sister wrote a review on the Porter's page trying to warn people, and the owner just replys to all bad reviews by saying that thier just disgruntled employees, my sister Kelly is only 15 years old, she can't even drive yet! I sincerely hope you no longer send your guests with that creep. See you in February!

We had an excellent experience this past weekend. Joining up with our son from college and spending quality time at an awesome hotel. Sheivila and Maxine at the front desk were very nice and courteous to us and definitely went above and beyond to attend to our requests. Dewon at the pool bar was there for anything and everything and made it very relaxing to sit and enjoy our time together. The food at Pinchers and the pool bar was delicious. Did not have to leave property once entire weekend. Everything you need is there. I will recommend this hotel to all my family and friends and more. Thanks to all for allowing us a great family mini vacation which is not very often anymore that we are all together. Will be returning for sure.

We stayed previously when this was a Holiday Inn, and now as a Wyndham. They improved the rooms. Right on the beach, the hotel with direct beach front for a long Beach stretching northward on Estero Island near Fort Myers. It's a wonderful white beach. Rooms are excellent. I prefer the rooms away from the pool because they have an open air bar that plays music late into the night. Away from the pool, facing the parking lot, we didn't hear any of it. Rooms are very nice. Tiled floors, while is cleaner than the carpets from the Holiday Inn days. The shower is a doorless walk-in shower. Good design. King sized bed was very comfortable. It has a microwave and a small refrigerator with a dinky freezer. A Publix Supermarket is less than half a mile up the road. We fixed our meals in the room. No complementary breakfast. Rooms along the parking lot were reasonably priced. $89 with AAA discount on November 3, 2015. They have rooms on the beach, but they are priced at around $239 with AAA discount. A little pricey for us. We stayed in a beach front room in 2009 when it was a Holiday Inn (room 153). That room was verrrrry nice. They have sitting area facing the beach. It was cheaper in 2009. We surveyed the hotels along the stretch of beach, and Wyndham prices are better, except for Carousel, 9 hotels north on the street. Staff is friendly and courteous. They provide beach towels on request at no charge. It's has an in house restaurant, we didn't try it.

Excellent stay, nice tiki bar and good restaurant. Nice quiet beach, a great place to unwind. Lovers Key State Park is just minutes away and quite a gem as well.

I can't believe that the room didn't have a microwave in it. They wanted to rent us one but didn't have one. They wanted 10.00 a day after the room was 160.00. The curtains didn't close right so we had no privacy. They did have a live band, that was good. Pool was great, gulf was very nice too. Personal was very nice, bed was good. The dinner had good food.

Hotel was descent for its price bUT the bugs are out of this world, impossible to enjoy the beach or outdoor bar because of bugs.

The room was clean and fairly updated but the front desk customer service was terrible. I asked them to check for something that was definitely left behind in the room and they acted like I was putting them out. Not impressed.

Have been here 7 years in a row and return for many reasons. Location, staff, ability to make both adults and kids happy. Where else can you walk to the water, kids play all day, then live music in tiki bar (allowing wife and I to be adults). Just now planning our 8th trip. Cannot wait. Could not recommend more.

Terrible service. Asked to store our luggage before we made a trip down to Key West and they said they could, so we did not make other arrangements. The morning we were supposed to leave on the boat, they changed their minds and we had to carry all our luggage on a bus and then haul it several miles to get to the boat. They offered no help, solutions, or suggestions on how to take care of the situation they created. The manager didn't even bother to come out of the back office, she just relayed her decision to the person working the desk. Would never stay here again.

The hotel was very clean and our bed was very comfortable. The pool was clean and quite nice. They provided ample pool towels and I never saw a dirty towel lying around even though the hotel was booked solid. We stayed for a week at this hotel during the sand sculptures and the staff kept up with all the sand and extra people coming into the hotel. It was clean. The staff made sure everyone had a parking space during this event so that was never a problem. Also, there was a band playing twice during the week outside, but we never heard it from our room. The food was good in the restaurant. The wait staff was very friendly. In fact, the whole staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing I can say that is negative is the lack of internet connection in the rooms. We stayed on the second floor in the North annex and I could never get a signal. Even my phone was unable to connect. It was a real dead zone there. The front desk would reboot the router, but the only way to get internet was to go into the lobby and use the office internet. I would stay here again if I come to the area. The location is close to parks and the trolley is a real bargain.

Worn down former Holiday inn. Rooms were clean, doors should definitely be updated. Location very good at the "dead" end of the beach.
