A very nice and quiet place. They have bikes and kayaks for use for free. The rooms are a bit like a dorm room but who goes to Florida to enjoy their room. Would definitely stay here again.

The Dolphin Inn was the perfect spot for our spring break trip. The clean updated rooms were great and having a coffee maker full size refrigerator and microwave was so convenient for quick meals. We took advantage of the free bikes we had for the entire stay. The beach was huge with beautiful white sand an easy 2 minute walk from the Inn to watch the beautiful sunsets or swim. There are many delicious restaurants in the area to choose from. The pool was clean and refreshing and literally right outside our door. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. We will be back for sure! 5 stars!

This was our 1st time visiting — stayed in Bayside room 4A this past week. A great view & cozy atmosphere. Travis & his staff were helpful with restaurant suggestions (Flippers, Pinchers & Francisco’s were amazing). The thoughtfulness of having grills, bikes, kayaks, beach chairs etc so you feel at home were much appreciated (& all included). You can walk & within 10min get to restaurants, local shopping, as well as a daily farmers market. The beach access is very easy to get to in a couple mins. Every guest we encountered while there were cordial & fun so it was a pleasure to walk around the property, exchange smiles & conversation. The weather was perfect. We can’t wait to return!

Clean! Beautiful! The beds are very comfortable! We have stayed in three different rooms and have loved them all! We appreciate Travis and the staff. The location is excellent. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Perfect location, beautiful canal in the back with a dock for fishing or kayaking, nice pool in the front and the gorgeous ocean across the street! You get the best of both worlds! Our king room was spacious with a fully stocked kitchen and a lanai overlooking the canal, it was great! There is a Publix close by. I liked that the resort is not right in the middle of all the traffic and tourist shops but yet close by. Travis and his staff are all amazing and well accommodating to the guests. We had an amazing time and can't wait to go back!

The Dolphin Inn has every amenity you could possibly imagine from kayaks to bike to every item possible for the beach. The pool is heated to the perfect temperature year round and the staff is beyond friendly and accommodating. I can’t wait to come back and visit! Thank y’all for being so amazing and helping us to find our new “spot”.

I did not stay there stayed across the street but rented some bike there very nice staff. Then I met travis the owner
when we went back super nice guy talk about the rooms and he was going to let me look at them for my next visit. I will definitely be staying there from now on.

FMB is the Paradise on Earth and The Dolphin Inn is the most cozy and complete hotel in the Island. They have a great set of water sports equipment for using in the bay, free of charge for the guests, a nice pool and the beach is just after crossing the street.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the Dolphin Inn! The owner is such a great host, the rooms are all that you could need, the prices are super reasonable, comfortable, perfect for our family of five! Love the pool and the quiet atmosphere. Conveniently right next door to a historic theater where you can order a drink and supper while the movie plays in case you have a rainy day ♥️ Super close to Publix grocery store. Can’t say enough about this little gem.

We have been coming to The Dolphin Inn for 6 straight years and love, love it here! Family owned, friendly atmosphere, kid-friendly. We take our 4 grandkids & family here every year for our annual FL vacation. Kayaks and bikes are free! We have seen dolphins and manatee when we take the kayaks out past the canal many times! I don't even want to tell anyone about this place, since it's a best kept secret…

This place is the best we have stayed at in ft Myers we work throughout the state and stay around here all this time this place feels like home day 2 now dishes and pans in the kitchen DVD players along with cable beautiful pool and. View out back with bbq everything you need already here not to mention the fee bikes and canoes found our new place to stay every time we are in town.

It's a small room but clean, right across from the beach and they have a nice big pool! Friendly staff and lots of restaurants close by, we are enjoying our stay!

Owner is super friendly! Kayaks, grills, beach chairs and toys, and bikes (available for rent very cheap) are all available on site. It is a very short walk to the beach just across the street. The kitchen is stocked with your basics to cook all of your meals. It is also close to restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations. We are very happy staying here.

A quaint little resort on a canal loaded with amenities. Free kayaks and bicycles was a nice touch. Walk across the street and you are on the white sugar sand beaches. All for a great price too! I would definitely stay again!

Stayed here for 5 days last summer and really enjoyed myself. The Inn is nothing fancy, but for the price you get a spacious room and great service. The owners were really friendly and helpful. In my room the hair dryer was broken, and within minutes they brought me over a new one. The Inn has a nice pool and is within walking distance from the beach. The ONLY thing was there was a weird smell coming from the bathroom, it kind of smelled like mildew and chemicals. That was really the only thing. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying again if I was on a budget.

This hotel was wonderful! The staff and owner were so nice and helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable! The beach is a short walk away and there is a trolley stop right out front.

Excellent resort located on Fort Myers Beach with the charming canals on one side and the Gulf of Mexico, with the beautiful sunsets, to the other side. Travis who owns the place is a sweet person whom assured that everything worked well and we felt well treated. The rooms were clean and neat and everything was in good order. For all rooms there is small kitchen and outdoor facilities in the form of barbecue and "private" table and beach chairs. There is also the possibility to borrow kayaks and bicycles for a small amount. We highly recommend the place. Finn & Charlotte, Denmark.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars! Very clean room. Small kitchen area, perfect for making snacks. Heated pool, clean pool side area. Travis gave us some beach towels before we got to check into our room, since we got to the resort way before check in time. The staff gave us great info about different restaurants and places to eat that they liked. I definitely recommend the dolphin inn to everyone whether you're on a vacation or a "stay-cation". Thank you dolphin inn!

This is our second time at the Dolphin Inn. And we'll be back. The rooms are huge. Nice beds. Full kitchen. Right across from the beach. Close to all the shopping or just lay back on the beach. Highly recommend.

This is a motel with a certain charm. The décor is old and rolled up but still we find it cozy again and again. For families with children, the large heated pool is interesting. At the back there are 2 gas grills which can be used and bicycles can be rented here. We know that there are not many stars but for us the feel-good factor counts. Always happy to…

This was a blind date — didn't know what to expect but were very happy. The poolside room we stayed in was a good size for 2 people, but the bathroom was very tiny. Was not a problem for us, but we felt they could have taken space from the rest of the room to make it bigger. Little things like a bathroom shelf for shampoo would be helpful. It was very clean, decently stocked kitchen (basic utensils, etc). Beds were way too soft and we both woke up sore, but in spite of all that we'd be back! It was outside of the "busy zone" on Estero island so more peaceful and easy to get in/out of. Pool was nice and its a short walk across the street to a huge, beautiful beach. Staff was wonderful — helpful, cheerful, professional, friendly.

And located across from the big beach. Loved Riding your rental bikes everywhere. Not to mention kayaking out watching the wildlife and exploring the local waterways. Wow, this place is great and the staff was so friendly. I sat and chatted with Kathy at the front desk for 20 minutes. She is such a great person. Great place, great location, and great views for the price. The room was clean and comfy. I definitely recommend this place, and will stay here again.

Best hidden gem on the beach. Recomend this over any other bigger hotel in the area. The staff will make you want to come back every year!

We had a great experience at the Dolphin Inn. Old Florida style resort overlooking canal, just a walk across the road from beach, and is updated and very clean. Friendly front desk woman who went out of her way to return eyeglasses left behind. Would definitely recommend.

I can't wait to come back to the D. Inn. I was well received and they took such good care of me. Rented a bike for the week and away I went. It was so peaceful that working on my book was a breeze. 4 or 5 hours a day. Then local pub and the beach across the street. This has become a destination for me. Can't wait to make it back!

Front desk was very friendly and even though it was an older hotel the room was very clean and inviting. Beach accessible and a dock in the back of the hotel. Also has bikes and kayaks available.

I dunno why my friend picked that place to meet up at, but it was very quiet, serene place to spend the night. Cozy even. Only thing I didn't like was the stagnate gross canal.

This is a wonderful property on Estero Bay. It is quiet, relaxing and peaceful. The staff is very friendly and down to earth. The owner, Travis, is a great guy with a wealth of knowledge on the local area. The rooms are clean comfortable and well maintained. The property is clean and has a nice atmosphere. They offer a large heated pool, free kayaks to use and bikes are available to rent ($5 a day for guests). Beach access just across the road and a short drive or ride to plenty of restaurants and shops. This was our first time here and we will definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

Nice place to take the whole family. They kids can fish all day. Kinda long walk to the beachfront. But they allow pets.

We just stayed at the Dolphin Inn last weekend. We were woke up to a shooting that took place in their parking deck in which my van (with new 30 days tags) was struck by gunfire. The bullet went through both my right & left side rear windows as well as a seatbelt. Thank God my children were not present. The hotel establishment was very insensitive to the matter. We never talked to or met anyone other than the front desk who could only relay information. The hotel didn't do anything to help us repair our windows… they wouldn't even give us any of our money back. The entire weekend was a nightmare. Customer service is not important at this establishment. They do not operate by American standards and are not concerned about customer service or safety. Had we parked in their parking deck without being a paying customer they would have had us towed… They cant even get into their security cameras unless they just don't work … we heard the police officers say that… this was the Dolphin Inn at Virginia Beach, VA not FL.

Fantastic low — frills place. We stayed in a tiny room around back, a stone's throw from their dock. We really didn't need much more than a safe quiet shelter in January 2016 so we could be outside doing tourists stuff. VERY friendly and helpful staff. On site laundry, no $ to take their chairs and mats to the beach, no rental fee for taking out their kayaks. $5 bike rental, heated pool. Two minute walk from the beach. Wifi, cable tv, mini fridge, microwave, double range stove, couple grills available fir grilling out and room service. It was very quiet except for a few noises from other rooms. All around great. Worth more than they charge. Highly recommended.

We took a weekend trip in September and stayed at the Dolphin Inn. I would highly recommend this fantastic place. We had a view of the bay, which was a beautiful place to watch the sunrise. Friendly staff! Free use of grill, kayaks, beach mats, shuffleboard and a fantastic fishing dock.

Awesome place! Boyfriend and I went for a last minute little getaway as we're FL residents and it was marvelous. Very clean room and hotel in general, friendly staff and owner, great location being right across the street from beach access, and you can play shuffle board next to the pool with is a nice touch. When we checked out the owner let us leave our car in the parking lot as we enjoyed our last day there on the beach and offered any of the beach equipment to us too. Very genuine and kind owner of a very clean and quaint place. Definitely will be staying there again!

So Charming and Quaint — — Such Peace. If You are looking for a place offering a home like atmosphere, with Peace, Quiet, Freindly and Helpful Staff, especially Lynn,, full kitchen with barbecue grills outside. Lower price range, bay right outside the door, pool in front, and ocean just across the street — — with friendly guests and no one bothering you — — This is the Place to be. Highly Recommend — and would definitely return.

A great place to stay if you Do Not need the standardized chains. Very Kind owner who really cares about his guests. Great Pool and location. Sometimes even manatees in the Garden. Sure there might be Hotels with more up to date rooms but I surely would stay here again next time I visit FMB.

Very well located small Hotel. The view from the "balcony" on the channel, in which also includes the manatees and visit is second to none. Steaks and fish, you can at any time free of charge on both of the grill. The Pool is perfect and the beach are 5 minutes away. The upper rooms are equipped with kitchen and 2 bedrooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Only the carpets and some pieces of furniture are no longer on the very last Stand. Who is not the very last luxury needs, but atmosphere and a wonderful view during Breakfast or dinner on the terrace, the Dolphin Inn is a great place to be! We were after 10 years to 2. Time here and will come back for sure!
