Reviews of Sheraton Vistana Villages Resort Villas, I-Drive Orlando 4*
So clean and like new with furniture and the grounds are beautiful and immaculent. The Waterfall pool is so big and amazing. Nice and quiet and peaceful. Great stay there for the while week. We will be back! Also very close to Sea World, Disney Springs, Icon Park and The Pointe. We took the trolley for only $2 to some locations. Beautiful Resort!
Nice timeshare resort. Plenty of activities by the main pool, but we enjoyed the quiet pool and hot tub. They have pickleball courts and meetups every morning. Two level 1 EV chargers available for free.
Better customer service. Better attitude from managers. Housekeeping is very poor and understaffed. No followup from any manager. Towels and trash in hallways.
Beautiful resort, comfy beds, spacious and clean rooms, fully equipped kitchen, and friendly staff! We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa in building 25. It was lovely! Close to restaurants, shopping, and not to far from the parks. Booked thru Costco travel. Everything was absolutely seamless. Would definitely stay again!
Best family friendly resort we’ve ever stayed at! Our kids love the heated pools and all the activities! The staff are all friendly, respectful and knowledgeable.
This is our second visit here and we still love it! Beautiful property, spacious suites, clean, and updated with screened balconies. We had a perfect long view of the lake in Building 10 on the 5th floor this time! Will be back over and over!
Enjoyed a difficult time over Hurricane Ian and was impressed in how quickly the hotel recovered on the Friday following the storm HOWEVER I have arrived home to find they have charged me over £400 on my credit card when I didn’t spend a penny there and I am furious indeed! I have tried to find an e mail contact for this hotel without success and I’m not prepared to waste money on transatlantic calls when this is no fault of my own! It would be nice to hear from the hotel on this matter as I am furious about this fraudulent charge on their part … I thought we had suffered enough stress trying to get home and now I get this …. So annoying on their part!
My family and I had a wonderful stay. Great service and welcoming atmosphere.
This resort is all of the above. Wonderful atmosphere! Excellent customer service! Great, friendly, and welcoming staff! Quiet and clean, all the amenities you could ask for or want. Everything is close by resort, and easy access! Me, my wife, and 3 daughters (24, 7, 4) had a blast and will definitely be back!
Family vacation. Very friendly, knowledgable staff. Great location.
My wife and I had one of the most relaxing getaway weekends we’ve ever had. Everyone was friendly and pools/amenities were clean and fun! 5star resort with 5star staff and amenities! We LOVED having washer/dryer and full kitchen in our suite. The views were spectacular and grounds kept clean. If you’re considering a visit to Orlando, this is the place you want to be! We already booked another stay this year.
Awesome stay, great location and amenities!
Highly recommended! this place is absolutely beautiful, nice and clean. Home away from home. Will stay there again next year for sure.
We were treated exceptionally well by Paige at the front desk! She was amazing and very caring & compassionate! We needed a room for one night because we were escorted out of The Fountains Resort directly across the street after being there 5 + days with friends from out of town! Our room had been entered by an employee and personal items were ransacked thru & civil action was mentioned & they made us leave! Many kuddos to Sheraton in a desperate time of need! And the men employee who helped load & unload our hotel luggage cart to our room was sooo very kind & cared for us! We truly felt loved! Thank you sooo very much! 😊😘❤❤
Beautiful, clean comfortably amenities located close to many wonderful attractions!
Everything was perfect! highly recommended 👌 I can't wait to return.
Worst Wi-Fi ever. Owner update sales pitch scam is just too much to deal with when they treat you like crap cause you aren’t interested.
Absolutely love this place! The rooms are the best I have seen! Great for kids and has lots of pools and hot tubs!
We always enjoy our stay. Love the pools, kids crafts, entertainment on select nights. Lots of fun with movies, Karaoke. Covid has changed a lot and while some of the changes aren't great, I feel they're doing a good job handling it.
Loved the clean accommodations, spacious rooms, and friendly atmosphere.
We love it here. Our home away from home and Liz in the owner’s lounge is amazing. Great customer service.
Excellent welcome. Very easy check in process. Courteous, well trained staff.
Large and spacious suites. Very nice pool that the kids loved. We enjoyed the accommodations as very comfortable and clean. We will be back!
Beautiful well kept. Very friendly staff.
Awesome pools and bars. Very family oriented, but still a great get away without the kids. Totally recommend!
Great place to stay. Awesome pools & activities fir the kids, great location! Helpful staff. Would stay here again.
Everything was PERFECT! The staff was so polite and professional! Close to everything! The property is well manicured and we had An amazing time!
I've stayed in budget hotels in the middle-of-nowhere, Montana that were not only cleaner than this outdated and musty place, but also had superior customer service compared to this place. We've stayed here twice in the past month and horrible experiences both times. Our room was damp, moldy and musty and FILTHY. Hair everywhere, even on the "clean" linens. Won't stay here again. Buyer beware: There are plenty of other resorts in the same area that are much cleaner with superior customer service.
This place is very goog! Pool are amazing, hotel is very clean and quiet!
100% recommended 😉
Beautiful rooms and scenery, friendly staff and awesome pools!
Gorgeous grounds, so relaxing, clean, spacious, friendly staff.
Beautiful resort-fantastic pools, gorgeous landscaping, and friendly staff committed to keeping everything clean during spring break.
This was by far one of the most awesome atmosphere!
Beautiful, private and clean just how I like it. ❤️ it was the washer and dryer in the room for me though. Honestly. GREAT stay ☺️
I own a timeshare here and have been coming here for a decade and we love it! Close to everything, beautiful pools, and the staff is wonderful!
It’s a gorgeous facility they always keep it nice and they’re always upgrading it.
Absolutely beautiful! Clean, remotes cleaned and wrapped in plastic.
Do not recommend anyone EVER go to their meetings, regardless of what they offer to give you for going. Do not become an owner here. They strictly and severely misrepresented everything about their ownerships. We were lied to during the presentation and meeting about the ownerships. These meetings are extremely high pressure and they will say anything to get you to sign. We've tried to cancel our contract and bring this to Vistana's attention numerous times and they do not seem the least bit concerned. They want proof of misrepresentation and use the contracts as a means of defense. They refuse to work with us, nor have they even bothered to address this with the sales reps. This is a very dishonest company. Their goals are profit driven only from what I can tell and there is no integrity. Strongly warn against anyone attending a meeting if you stay at this resort.
Nice pool. Friendly staff. Superclean, beautiful, quiet.
Wonderful resort. Clean and friendly staff.
Enjoyed my stay at the timeshare. The restaurant was good but a little pricey. Pool at St Augustine section was nice. The sauna was not working. Avoid the owners update, it was a royal waste of time. I had to walk out, because I had a previous appointment. They tell you that it will be an hour and it's always over two. If you won't value my time, I won't return.
Large family resort with big pools and nice suites. Timeshares but if you're paying for your suite it is not required. Nice facilities and comfortable common areas. Close to Disney but far enough away that the traffic is not bad. Shopping near by and a supermarket is a few blocks away. Convenience store on the property.
While I have a Disney timeshare and usually stay at their resorts whenever I come down and can't stay on property this is my go to. This time in particular I had an amazing front desk staff member (I believe his name was Victor. I lost the paper with his name that I kept to review him unfortunately. ) that checked me in when I got there at 1 am on August 24. He was very knowledgeable and extremely nice. The rooms were amazing as usual and very clean. I also love the fact that there is free parking included and regret that I split my stay here and at the Disney Swan. While the Disney Swan is close to the parks and nice in it's own way I know I will choose this hotel over it next time. (Mostly because of the parking and having an actual kitchen)
Just a great hotel, rooms are amazing and the pool area huge. We had a 1 bedroom villa with a huge Jacuzzi bath, separate living and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen and balcony to relax on. Locates just south of SeaWorld we found everything just a shirt drive away. We would definitely stay here again next time in Orland6
This is my go-to hotel any time we take a Disney vacation. The rooms are always clean and they are so spacious! We love that these are villas so we have a kitchen complete with plates, cutlery, and cookware; we cook breakfast every morning before heading to the parks which saves us money on eating out. Plus, each villa has a washer and dryer so we can pack light and just wash occasionally (housekeeping leaves single-use packets every day). To top it off, it's only 15 minutes from Disney and even closer to Seaworld. The hotel pool is picturesque and there are always fun family events going on — even a parents night out. Such an amazing hotel!
Home away from home. Very nice place to stay. The room is very spacious and the bed is the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Three fitness facilities and a great place to run on property. 4 nights isn’t a long enough time to take it all in. Staff have all been excellent to deal with and make you feel like a VIP. There are tons of activities at the various venues and it’s definitely kid friendly. If you have smaller ones, perfect place to make home base for the time you spend in the area.
Lovely resort, was here for a conference, so wasn't able to relax and enjoy the surroundings as much as I would have liked. The location is huge, so it can be a long walk to pools, administration blocks or other friends rooms if you are in certain parts of the complex. I have been at similar resorts, so I was happy the Time-Share push was kept to a minimum. Pools are spectacular, restaurant options are limited. There is a reasonable priced Store with fresh cooked snack food as well. I would definitely stay here again with my family!
Had a great stay and experience. Rooms are quite spacious and clean. Hotel was very quiet. Fairly close to all Disney resorts. Also close to a local Publix so you can buy groceries and store in your room (large fridge and several dishes / flatware restocked). Very much enjoyed our stay.
Great property! Stayed in 2 bedroom 2 bath room with full kitchen, full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher and stackable washer dryer combo. They had dish soap, 4 person dinnerware and glasses available. Really nice property. The main pool was amazing and huge! Even had ducks and ducklings swimming in there. Will definitely stay again when in Orlando.
My family loved the stay at the Sheraton Vistana Resort. The place is super comfy and clean as well. We booked a villa style accommodation and it was almost a 7-star experience. Loved the hospitality and the amenities. The pool area and lake were good too. I'm coming back for am even longer stay soon. :) :)
5 stars! This place is top notch. Gated community, amazing condos, several pools and hot tubs, on site convenience store, walking trails, restaurants, bars, etc. The staff is excellent, very polite and friendly. This is exactly what a too notch resort should be like. We have stayed here several times and definitely will again in the future.
눇privite!
Clean, spacious, comfortable! Really great!
Very nice resort, lots of services but everything that is sold on site is expensive.
Good resort. Nothing too special but the room we had was clean and modern. Nice large LG TV in the main room, small screened in deck, good dishware and amenities in the rooms but to be honest, aside from sleeping, we probably spent two hours at the resort all week. The restaurant on site seemed nice but the mixed drinks at the pool bar were awful. We would go back if we have another chance though because it did feel like home away from home.
Perfect location. Not too far from Disney and surrounding parks. Room was immaculate! Pools kept clean and service impeccable! I’ll be back soon enough! Best family Vacation yet!
Everything about the hotel is great. I made a regular reservation and paid upfront for my room. BUT I'm rating 3 stars because of the fact that they quickly and "fine print" like duked me into sitting through a 90 minute sales pitch for whatever the hell they were trying to push. After check in they immediately directed me to another desk where they "kindly" invited me to a complimentary pastry breakfast and gave my son some toys and me a 100 visa card but didn't say that it was going to be a 90 minute time share presentation. Granted, our presentor was sweet but I only wish they would have been a bit more transparent about it. We didn't leave the hotel until almost 11 after fighting with management to ALLOW us to leave since they all made it clear that we had to since we signed those papers. Since it was a short trip mainly planned around going to Disney, we had planned to be at the park by open time but because of this whole fiasco, I didn't make it there until 1pm. Terrible.
Beautiful place to stay and spend a few days dreaming… Close to the premium Outlet and the supermarkets!
We've been here twice now. If you can sit through the presentation and not purchase a time share this place is so worth a stay. 10-15 from all Disney parks and located 2 minutes for an outlet mall. Our first visit we stayed in a recently renovated room however this last time the room was definitely dated and it had a really strong cleaner/detergent smell the second we walked in. We were going to call and complain but we just open all the windows and cranked the AC. Wasn't so bad after. The pool and other amenities are top notch.
This is an upscale yet family friendly hotel. Although it's called "villas" it just feels like a very large hotel made up of many condo-style buildings. 3 great pools. Good service. Food in the hotel restaurants was fine, but not amazing. Would recommend this hotel.
Spectacular Hotel!
Luxury apartments with all the comforts: complete and spectacular kitchen, divine terrace with lake view, Jacuzzi, one of the rooms overlooking the lake, and listen to the ruidito of the Ducks all of quality and first level.
In the central Office the attention is impeccable.
There is a full gym and a mercadito. Plus a Starbucks inside the resort.
Wonderful place my 3rd time here.
All the staff is great, always cheerful and helpful. I love the pools I’m usually at the Quiet pool, this time I brought my daughter, her husband and my granddaughter Madison she had so much fun swimming, tons of activity’s every day, the staff for children are great. The rooms are always clean, full kitchen, screened in porch, spa tub
Oh and the beds so comfortable lots of down pillows and quilts. The Breeze bar and grill lots of choices the food and drinks are great. Small store in case you forgot something,
Hot and ice coffee, smoothies lattes extremely, gift shop. I can’t say enough about how great this place is. I will be returning. 20 minutes to Disney, 5 to sea world 10 to outlets and grocery. Hopefully you will consider staying here.
Oh and they have family s’more night almost every night.
We stayed here for a week and enjoyed it. The pool is great for kids and our 2 bedroom/ 2 bath was spacious. By our 3rd day, we started to see the kinks. The Wi-Fi was down in building 26 for most of the night. The next day the building had no water or toilets working from midnight to 6 am. We had an early flight so no shower or water. We spoke to the manager but nothing more was done. Some friends had a room in the same building and their rooms were not cleaned until after 4:30 in the afternoon. There is a big push for time share here. All in all I might return, but then again there are lots of places in Orlando.
Good location, nice outdoor pool.
Very good! But the last time I went, the pirate ship was malfunctioning. I hope you've fixed it.
This is an excellent resort! Staff are friendly and accommodating. The pools are clean, well maintained, and large enough for everyone! Rooms are updated and spacious with comfortable bedding. My family stays here every time we visit Orlando (this is the 3rd year) and have not had a bad experience yet.
Big rooms, great value. Everything was clean. Huge heated pool and a couple hot tubs. Nice setup overall. Would come back for the price. Wish we had more time to stay. Only complaint was it smelled a bit musty at times near our room, not unbearable by any means.
This is the second time I have been to this establishment and it is always too short. The pool is superb and what to say about the cleanliness of the places (spotless) I highly recommend…
My family and I stayed here during our trip to Disney World last spring. Love the location we were able to find a lot of shopping and dining places. Our room were close to the pool area, but I couldn't hear any noise. The people at the front desk were helpful, but beware you will be approach to buy stuff.
My family and I stayed a week at this location and loved it! The room we stayed in was a 2 bedroom villa and it was beautiful! The resort had its own cute little grocery that offered made to order sandwiches and salads. We had some trouble with booking another day and Blanca at the front desk was incredible and handling the situation for us with the conflicting company we dealt with online! Will continue to rave about this resort and Blanca! Thanks again!
Beautiful resort. Loved relaxing by the pool and in the hot tub. 4 stars because I asked for extra pillows multiple times and never received them… But the staff is so friendly and quick to help with any issues that arise otherwise.
Beautiful place. They accommodate your every need. If you need something in your room all you have to do is call and they will rush it up to you. I loved the pool areas. Everything was extremely clean and inviting.
Excellent place. Very good location The place does not need to add anything. When they go to that place take one more day of lodging they will not regret.
This hotel is spectacular. The rooms are fully equipped apartments and have excellent facilities for common use for the guests: basketball courts, volley, heated swimming pool, ping pong table, billiards, very clean and tidy all. A pleasure. I want to go.
The houses to the street are a disaster. I immediately gave myself a new room. The décor is new but a bit spartan. The main pool and the quiet pool are beautiful. However, there are enough sunshades available.
Beautiful apart hotel, luxury to go alone, as a couple or with the family. Giant rooms and huge the venue where it is located. Lots of pools, tennis courts. The rooms come with full kitchen and free Wi-Fi. Highly recommended!
Very nice hotel Village. The apartments are big, very nice and clean.
No noise despite our apartment which had the view of the pool, just the neighbors from above not too discreet!
There are several swimming pools in the village. Ours was really nice for the whole family. You can swim well because there are different depths and for the smaller the pirate boat with the slide and the water jets is a plus.
Housekeeping is well done.
We had a great time here.
It's a nice resort but I don't know if I would stay here because the breakfast you pay for is very basic (scrambled eggs/tea or coffee/toast and orange juice). The rooms at least the MIA had a strange smell, between cigar or confinement. Soft bed that sinks you in. Poor quality pillows/bathroom shower broken/If you shop at Amazon and ask for shipping to the hotel this will charge you $10 x to receive it.
Excellent to come with family. Near Disney.
Well run with very friendly staff. Quickly feels like home. Much more value than a hotel room. Prefer to any other comparably priced accommodation tried in the same area. Have spent weeks in nearly every building. Beds were great in all.
Amazing resort, friendly staff. Only complaint would be their bed pillows are not firm at all — no support so bring your own. ALSO, the water tastes like pool water and it's more expensive than gas in their marketplace so bring bottled FOR SURE! Other than that, the rooms and pools are VERY clean. Pirate ship pools are awesome with a big slide. Beautiful resort.
Great location Room very clean and large and super well equipped.
Nice hotel. Good pool. Do not accept the talk they offer. Not even the welcome gifts.
Best place to close the theme parks while not too much $.
Wow. This place has everything in one place for a heavenly & peaceful getaway. Comfortable furnished suites/villas including a fridge, washing machine, drying machine, iron, mini kitchen with stove, dishes, kettle, microwave and dishwasher. Groceries & daily needs store located inside resort so you can cook yourself, though there's a restaurant too. I made pancakes with maple syrup so im really happy. Balconies face the small lakes in the resort. THREE swimming pools, yes three! Besides a hot steam pool which is great for lazing around. Good long morning walks and an exhaustive fitness centre too. Front desk was helpful. Oh, and most importantly! The free shuttle service to and from Disney world, which is 15 min away, at fixed timings was a money saver. Overall a really good and complete experience. I'd suggest that relaxing in the resort for a few days and exploring its features is better than clubbing it with a theme park visit, so as to fully get the resort experience. Picture attached is the view from my balcony.
Great property, loved the gardens and pool area. Great for families of all ages, something for everyone! Stayed on first floor with view to one of the ponds. All balconies are covered with mosquito screens, master bedroom has a great size bath tub with private bathroom and a safe. Second bedroom had direct access to second bathroom and was pretty good size. Only complain is the musky smell, maybe from humidity of Orlando, I dunno. Had a great stay and loved the complimentary parking!
Rooms were nice but the property left much to be desired. There was no functioning restaurant on site while they complete construction. The food they were able to serve was overpriced and disgusting. As soon as you check in the staff is pushing timeshare seminars on you. After we had told them we weren’t interested they still proceeded to call our room and attempt to swindle us into attending. While the price was cheap and rooms were decent, the property is a good 20-30 minutes away from a Disney and given our experience we won’t be staying here again.
The resort provides a lot of amenities that create a welcoming and fulfilling visit here in the Orlando area; however, there are some yet minimal changes and issues we have had on our journey. Whether a product of misinformation or changing locations, one of the bars does not keep to the hours advertised and signage has not been updated. Secondly, the owners lounge needs some updating. I feel like there's a lot of wasted space including the snack area which would easily be consolidated. On top of that, the desk arrangements could be better designed to assist the account executives with their customer management. Plus having to go into a closet to retrieve the adult beverages seems cheap.
I just visited him, not staying. It's fantastic. Not to leave the rooms…
Excellent family-friendly (and adult-friendly! ) resort. We have been visiting for years and each return visit is another stunning vacation. The attentive staff and variety of events has been a favorite growing up. As an adult, I love the newly redesigned restaurant at the resort and incredible deals for tickets to a multitude of parks and events across Orlando and as far as the Florida coast. The convenient location on International Drive allows for quick access to Publix for shopping needs — another minute further down the road are the expansive Orlando Premium Outlets, a favorite shopping stop of ours. Minutes from Disney and only an hour from gorgeous Cocoa Beach, we known we can count on a great vacation at the Vistana Villages.
Excellent deal, and very cozy.
This place is amazing. The staff is so professional and always willing to accommodate you according with your necessities. The rooms are very spacious and beyond clean. We always have a great time here and has become a tradition to come here every year. The kids enjoy this place so much that we come to stay just here and skip the parks. We just came back yesterday and as usual, we have great memories. We Will be back soon.
The rooms are very convenient and upscale. The many pools are enjoyable and tailored to different family members. Every staff member I have talked to has been friendly and helpful. There are loads of one site activities, workout area, a nice business center, and an expensive, but convenient little grocery store. Our stay has been wonderful and I haven't had to worry about a thing! If something is wrong, they fix it as soon as you tell them.
Very good location and easy to find. Service good, patient and helpful. Unfortunately computers very slow so you need wait long time to make any changes. Still did not get credit for 2 nights cancellation due to hurricane coming to the area. Villas have no generations so in case of storm you will not have power. I will go with kids there since Disney World is near. Recommended.
We had great time at the resort. We stayed for 5 days and on each day the room service has cleaned our room promptly. The bedroom is relatively new attached with large bathroom. The bathroom has jacuzzi, shower, and vanity basins. The room has fully equipped kitchen, dining room, powder room and washer/dryer. The only issue with our stay was the availability of free shuttle service to Disney parks. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Venue is very nice but it is huge, to big for them to manager properly. They gave me my room key and two hours later have my room to another person. So at 330am another person was let into my room by security. Then at 6am the next morning house keeping came knocking over and over again until I answered and they said, you are leaving today right. When I had a reservation for 4 more days. Will not stay their again.
We had a wonderful time! Great pools! Nice staff! Beautiful rooms! Worth every penny! Will be back soon for sure!
This has been my second stay at the Sheraton Vistana Villages resort, with my first 8 years ago in 2009. Since then, it appears that not much has changed. We are staying in the "Key West" area of the resort, in a suite with kitchenette. The suite is pleasant, with a kitchenette/dining/living area and then a separate bedroom with a super-king sized bed and then a separate bathroom off the bedroom. There is a balcony with table and chairs in the living area. We are on-site during hurricane Irma, and the staff have great to deal with over this time. The on-site store, the "Marketplace", has been able to supply us with plenty of non-perishable food and water, which we were able to buy using the resort credit from choosing not to have our bedding washed every day. Overall the stay so far has been pleasant and I will definitely consider returning here again.
Rooms are very nice, except the shower is a bit lacking for a suite. It is basically a large empty tiled room with a weak fix-mounted shower head and a tiny wire shelf. The suites are nicely updated and comfortable, but all of the pillows are the same and too soft. Usually at a hotel of this level I get at least 2 different options for pillows. Location is acceptable, maybe a few minutes farther away from Disney than I usually stay. Not enough parking for the building.
Spacious room. Good staff. Tasty coffee shop. Fast check inn and out. Very high security which I like. Some of the plugs in the room are not working. They charged us on stuff I ordered them from Amazon! Overall pleasant stay at Sheraton.
Location is great. Quick commute to Disney and Universal. Grocery store just up the road, also many restaurants near by. My room looks like it was updated 5 or so years ago. Pretty nice for a hotel room. Not exactly the cleanest either. Found a plastic tag ring in the living room and has to rewash some of the dishes when my wife and I checked in. They offered us a "go green" package which gave us $10/day hotel comp if we didn't have daily room service. The person before us probably took that then left a huge mess. We were also offered $100 Visa gift card if we sat in on a sales meeting the next day for their timeshares. We did, but the salesman had no clue how to accept the fact we kept saying "no". Then he called his boss over to pitch us. Then the "customer service" people tried to pitch us. The grounds are beautiful with three easily accessible pools.
I am an owner at Sheraton Vistana Villages owning in the St. Augustine section with a 2 bedroom unit and I have stayed all over the property. It is beautiful, centrally located to everything you want to do in Orlando. It is not a hotel, it is a home for the length of your stay. Even if you just spend your week relaxing on the property, it is awesome. Great pools and lots of fun activities for everyone in the family. Of the many Sheraton locations that I have stayed, this is one of their crowning jewels.
Excellent hotel! Rooms are large with kitchen and washer/dryer. It was nice to be able to throw our wet suits in the dryer after swimming. Also nice to be able to save a few bucks here and there by eating a meal or two made in the kitchen. Kiddie pool area was very nice. I was surprised to see life guards in duty. They did a great job of catching my youngest at the end of the water slide. All the staff that we came in contact with were very helpful. My only slight complaint was the room smelled a little musty. I hated it but would forget about it after a short time of being inside. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Lots of things to do on property but we didn't get to do it all… Maybe next time!
We just returned from this great resort. Coming "Home' at the end of the day was great. We shared a two bedroom with 5 people, it was spacious and very nice. It did not feel like a hotel room. It came with refrigerator, stove, sink, washer and dryer. Everything you need for a great stay — and they provide housekeeping.! The grounds and pools are beatiful. In a word the whole experience was AWESOME! We hope to be able to come back again soon.
Great facilities, good service, and got a great deal with my third night free. Also listened to a timeshare presentation for a free gift card. Worth it, and seriously considered buying into it, but couldn't pull the trigger. Really curious to speak to a Sheraton vacation owner… I stayed in the building closest to main building and recommend that for convenience. Key west village has the tennis courts but kind of far and we didn't have a car. Overall had a great time and would definitely return to this property.
It's okay for the price. Nice swimming pool and good service.
We came on my sister's time share and enjoyed it. The rooms are big and nice but could a bit more detailed cleaning. All of the staff we delt were friendly. We loved the different pools. It was nice to be able to sit on our balcony eating, loving the bug screen.
A very nice location. We were visiting friends who had a timeshare here. The suite was wonderful, clean, stocked spacious with an enclosed lanai/balcony. Definitely a good place to consider with the gated community, pool, and and other amenities. Although I have stayed here, I've heard great this about it and would definitely consider it in the future.
My family and I stayed two nights and it was great. The rooms were big, and very nice. The kitchen and living room area was great as well. My kids loved the pool, which had a pirate ship and water slide. Overall very satisfied.
Great place for families with kids of all ages. Different activities for different ages. Pools are open late. Suites are very nice. Food and drinks are typical resort prices.
We stayed for 4 nights for our family vacation to Disney World. I loved all the amenities that the resort had to offer. They have 3 great pools and they also have activities for families. I almost didn't want to leave lol. Will definitely be staying here on my next vacation.
This is a beautiful resort. The rooms are very nice, and the views are even better. The pools are big and spacious and there is a lot of seating. The drinks at the main pool are delicious. The food isnt bad at the restaurant, a little pricy for sure, but not bad if you're looking for lunch at the pool. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. I'm havent used the fitness center yet, as the one closest to us is closed at the moment. Overall, I love this place. Would definitely recommend!
Nice room, friendly staff. However they set the thermostats so they won't go below 70 degrees. Makes it hard to sleep comfortably when you are used to sleeping at a lower temp. Putting profits over guest comfort is why I can't rate any higher.
This is a great hotel. The people are polite and kind for you. The hotel is pretty big, so bring a car if you can. The location is in the heart of Orlando and you can easily go anywhere. Rooms are clean and new looking.
We got a pretty awesome package deal through Costco, and the place is really nice for what we paid. Everything we could possibly need in our rooms and kitchen. The heated pools were great, because we went during a cooler time of year. We made use of the Disney shuttles everyday of our stay. The pushing of timeshares was a bit much, but not obnoxious.
Nice average resort as in our 2 rm suite was laid out nicely… screened in balcony was a huge plus… BUT service was terrible… the first night we went out for dinner… came back. Keys would not work at 10:30 at night… The front desk had screwed up our rm and would not let us into our rm until security verified it was our rm? Waited over forty minutes for someone to come… several calls to front desk and finally security shows up and his key doesn't work. Then 3 security guards converged on us making us feel like we were criminals. The head guard opened door and insisted on going in first. We had to identify what was in the room first before he would open door. Before we left the next morning we tried the keys. They didn't work. Had to call. Over an hour of our time wasted because the problem was the battery in the lock was not working. Took two engineers to figure that out when we told them the night before that was the problem. My daughter is the GM at a hotel so we are aware of some things. The second major problem was the pushing of timeshares. We were invited to a "breakfast" for a viewing and survey of Sheraton in the hopes we would stay with them again. Turns out is was a timeshare tour but since they had insisted we go ahead and take the 120.00 visa card in return for the survey they charged it to our room and when we returned it had to pay a 120.00 charge on our room. I wonder how many people get pulled into that "scheme"? Will never stay at another Sheraton property…
It's our home away from home. The 2 bedroom units are perfect for a family of 4 or more. The St. Augustine's pool is perfect for small kids. The resort is located close to several amenities and the parks. We are returning for our 4th visit this summer… can't wait.
Beautiful rooms and resort. Located right near SeaWorld and Walt Disney World. Wi-Fi can be slow in places, however.
When we first arrived we were impressed by the grandeur of the resort. The room needed to be aired out due to smelling strongly of cleaning supplies, but was well maintained and decorated. The service was fast and friendly. When we called for a crib, highchair, and extra linens all were delivered timely and with a smile.
Very nice stay. Close to disney which we liked. Only two problems while staying there. 1) The light oit side our room was so bright, it kept is up. We had to hang sheets over the curtain so the light would stop creeping in. And 2) the tub had a slight leak and was making to room smell musty. Didn't notice until we left but we let management know.
Usually this hotel chain has no Issue with early check-in. Check in is at 4pm. We arrived at 3pm. There was no clean rooms at that time. The staff told us they would call when our room was available. They did not call and at 4:30 they wanted to give me 4 options. Sounds like they had multiple rooms available but made no sort of effort to call us. The rooms themselves were spacious, clean and comfortable. The furniture was modern and the suites had good amenities. The maid service was horrible. They are suppose to make sure all items are available on there check sheet before the rooms are rented. We did not a toaster and some utensils. The midweek service did not vacuum, change the garbage or make the beds. We did get clean towels but no refills on soap and toilet paper. I will say that the midweek service was on Christmas but really do your job right. The jacuzzi tub is always my favorite in the rooms. Very relaxing and refreshing. The hotel complex has a lot of things to do. Pool tables, ping pong, basketball courts, tennis, shuffleboard and 7 pools. Not bad. They also have daily activities for families and children (which is typical at the timeshare units). Amenities 4 stars; staff 2 stars as they were often rude; rooms and furnishings 4.5 stars; housekeeping 2 stars.
Great location and nice rooms. We had some issues with our tv's and front desk was pretty quick about sending someone, even after 5 on a Sunday. Housekeeping was overall good but inconsistent, we kept getting odd numbers of towels or multiple washcloths and no hand towels. Nothing that really blew us away, but a positive experience overall.
We were told there would be a shuttle to the Disney parks … there is with a very limited schedule… thanks Then when we booked we requested and paid to have two joining rooms, that didn't happen we were in two totally different buildings. Staff on check in had an attitude and made no effort to honor the reservation that we had made and confirmed. Then if you are not willing to listen to their sales pitch to buy a time share with them the treat you like you are not important. The best experience was with house keeping and the bellmen they got customer service right. The rooms are great and pools are amazing, if you can over look the shuttle schedule and being ignored if you don't go to their time share speal then by all means stay here.
Lovely hotel with well kept spacious grounds & pool area. Rooms very clean with daily service. Hope to stay here again next time.
We arrived at the Sheraton Vistana Villages resort at the invitation of my wife's cousin, who owns a "travel share" with Starwood properties. It was to be a nice family getaway. The property itself is clean and well maintained. We were staying in a two bedroom villa in Building 10. It is fairly standard stuff, not up to a good hotel, but OK for a getaway apartment. We needed some additional towels, and after requesting them from the front desk, they were delivered about 40 minutes later by a pleasant gentleman. So, there you go. That's the good stuff. Now, here is where things begin to spiral down. Our daughter and my wife's cousin went shopping to pick up a few things. They returned a few minutes after 9:00 pm, and parked in the HC spot outside our building (yes, I do have HC parking). As they were unloading their bags, a housekeeper comes zooming into the diagonals next to our car in an out of control golf cart. I'm not sure if this was her first time driving a golf cart, she was impaired, or simply a horrible driver, but she missed hitting our cousin by a fraction of an inch. Panicking, she hit the accelerator instead of the brake, and careened into the bushes in front of the building. This was not just a little golf cart either, it was a big one. Believe me, if you were struck by one of these, if you were to survive, it would inflict major injuries.
1. ) Took 6hrs to get in our rooms 2. ) Messed up our reservations twice, once over the phone and again in person (2hours total) 3. ) Staff was incompetent and unaccommodating 3. ) We were given the wrong room keys 3 times, one of them causing us to walk in on a family that happened to be in the middle of changing clothes 4. ) Pulled under the front breezeway to pull luggage out of the bed of my truck as it started to rain only to have their commuter bus pull in behind me and start honking the horn repeatedly 5. ) After wasting 6 hours of our time told us we would have to purchase ice from their market store or wait for the refrigerator units to produce the ice to put in our drink coolers we had been toting around all afternoon. 6. ) Finally received the correct rooms, reloaded our luggage and rushed to the building in the rain only to arrive and find staff vehicles taking the only 3 available parking spaces in the front row (against building) refusing to move while our luggage was being rained on. Worse part was they weren't even working but socializing as they watched us scramble to get the luggage under the covering of the building. I have been to a lot of different resort style hotels around the world and would have to say this was the worst experience I have ever had with a well know establishment. It is obviously poorly managed and the staff does not have the first clue about customer serve being a priority.
Not a room … An entire apartment with Jacuzzi! Small market store inside, towels for swimming pool could be better but … They are free and that's fine too!
We have stayed here twice this month. Great experience both times. We will definitely be back soon.
Simply fantastic. I stayed here a while back and couldn't have been happier. I would normally write a longer review but I really don't need to.
EDIT: 4/24/15: I received a phone call stating they had fixed the step issue by the market for people in wheelchairs. That is impressive and thank you. We just stayed there this past weekend 4/17-4/22. My first stay there. I liked the room, 2 bedroom suite; — Beds were great -kitchen was packed with everything you need (sans food of course) -AC/Heat unit is quiet! (huge bonus) -Loved the on-site market (tho it isn't where the sign for it is, you have to go around the building to the right. Care to add that info somewhere? ) -on-site restaurant is good, tho pricey but thats always the case, there are TONS of places to eat and go right on international drive. Just take a right and 2.5 miles later boom lots of choices. -staff is very nice now there were a few things I didn't like as much: The room door has a gap about an inch+ to the floor. Allowing anything to waltz on into the room. The carpet was not thoroughly vacuumed, there were remnants of a previous guest's granola bars (I'm guessing) left behind. TV: there is a listing on a card of available channels, which would have been helpful but for the fact it didn't have anything to do with what was actually available. helicopter tours are close by, so you have a lovely sense of airport ambiance now and again. market area: I'm disabled and need to be pushed in a wheelchair, when you leave the market and go right, there is a ramp to go into the parking lot.
I LOVE this place. This was my first time staying here, and they have been nothing but helpful and nice :) I am coming here next year.
Everything here is wonderful. From check in to check out! The staff are all helpful and friendly. The prices at the resturant and "quickie mart" are to be expected but not outragous. I've tried going to other locations but I'm never happy anywhere else. I'm coming up on 10 years coming here and dont want to ever stop. Even if all you do is come to hang by the pool all day, you would be hard pressed to find a nicer place with a better staff.
Great place to bring a family for a disney trip friendly helpful staff. Rooms are large and nice. Has all the amenities one would need. Close to everything, I would recommend this to anyone.
Stayed there many times over the past 10 years. Always enjoyable. Staff very nice and rooms clean and comfortable. Close access to parks.
Ok hard to get a ride back to my room from the front office but other than that no complaints cnt wait til I get to that bed and sleep.
I have been an Owner with Starwood since 2000 and have stayed at the Vistana Villages nearly every year since. We almost always have a two bedroom lock-off, and have never found so much as a grain of sand on the floor upon check-in. I sincerely wonder if there is not some variance between hotel guests and owners. I honestly do not know.
I have stayed twice and I hated this last visit. First, the pillows are horrific. They give no support. Second, the stove top was disgusting and there was ants every where. I can tell that these house keepers don't clean I really don't know what they really do there. There was dust every where. The toilets seats have this brown grim at all times. I really don't understand what's going on with this resort, it is going down. I hope they change this because we pay some good money to stay in a place that makes our family feel comfortable but obviously I am speechless on the care of these units. Oh, I almost forgot, there was stains on the blankets, the duvets, the entire beds and pillows. I was disgusted. I hate this place.
We stayed for a week in September and it was amazing. The staff was wonderful and a delight. The prices in the on-site market could have been cheaper, but we just shopped elsewhere. The room was very clean and tidy, the pools were great, a little on the cold side but very clean. The lifeguards could have kept a better eye on the pools as some of the kids were not being watched very well by their parents. Overall our stay was one of the best we've ever had.

Can not say enough good things about this resort! The best staff, excellent amenities and the most comfortable rooms. Plenty of seating around the pools, workout facilities are always clean and we loved the poolside activities!
