Review of Hilton Orlando 4*

We had just gotten off a cruise and wanted a nice place to relax with a pool. We have stayed at many very nice hotels and Hilton hotels without any issues. However, from the first few minutes at our hotel that costs $315/night there were issues. Started with valet and our luggage. A 20ish year old guy helped pack all our luggage out of our car onto luggage carrier and said he would bring it up to our room in just a few minutes. We tipped him $10 for the help and a few minutes later our luggage arrived to our room. Guess what? It was not the same guy who took our money but another man. Given it was our last bit of cash we had given the "luggage guy" we had nothing for the guy who actually delivered our luggage. We told the actual deliver what happened and he said the other guys a liar? What in the world?!? So he left upset and we were embarrassed having nothing to give him. Next. After getting off cruise we had some clothes to wash and guess what no laundry facility for customers to use ohh but you can drive a few miles down the road to another Hilton hotel and use theirs (that was advice given to us). So time came to relax at the pool. Umm nottt. Pool was beautiful but crazy crowded and not from hotel guests but apparently locals who discovered that this hotel does not check for room cards upon entering pool. Didn't ask for mine or anyone else coming in. Confirmed this with multiple people talking around me who had brought their coolers full of food etc. Who told kids "you'll ready to go home now " etc… heard multiple stories of similar nature. Just frustrating I can't find chair near pool to watch my kids because so many non paying visitors in pool area as well. Very disappointing! Also if you are in need of extra towels to be delivered to room. Good luck! Called and asked and waited an hour to give my kids showers and they never showed up. Well that about sums up our wonderful stay at Hilton. Were planning on staying two nights but switched after first night. Hope yours is better.
