The rooms are very out dated. The maintenance is minimal. I was pretty disappointed in this hotel for the price. Loved the view, pool and the Coffee/ snack area. They had good selections there. The restaurants were overpriced and just ok. The conference space was nice and the caterers were on it. I would return but not my first choice.

Rooms are great, service is mostly great and the grounds are fabulous. Lots of lush gardens and beautiful scenery. My only complaint would be that music at the pool. It’s horrible techno/dance club music. Not a relaxing vibe at all. We have 16yrs all the way to 50 in our group and not one Person is enjoying the music. Wish they would play more of a relaxing mix or tropical vibe or a top 40 mix. Even traditional pop or country would be better than this.

We stayed one night as we arrived a day early for our Disney reservation. We stayed in room 509 for an extremely high price but agreed as we were tired. The room was dirty, toilet paper holder was disgusting; bugs in the room…While the agent said she’d send maid service, it was nearly 10pm. There was so much furniture in the room he could hardly move. The carpet was dirty, doors had dirt on them. And to top it off I was bit by bugs and my ankles are red and sore. When checking out the desk manager who was waiting on us did discount the room but I would never stay here again. What a disappointment it is to stay at a Hilton and find it is dirty and bug infested.

Love the lazy River! It was very warm and inviting.

We rented a cabana at the pool on Saturday April 2nd and I just want to give a huge shout out to our waitress, concierge, and all around great customer service rep ROSALINA! She was fantastic! Thank you!

As a longtime Diamond member I was tricked into a $600 room upgrade charge. When checking in I asked was the upgrade free and they confirmed it would be no charge. My upgrade was to a room that overlooked the dumpster and was woke up in the morning to it being dumped. Some lights didn’t work the door leading to the patio was broke. The bathroom was subpar at best. The hot tub was small and dirty. When I called they wouldn’t refund me anything. I will never use this hotel ever again and I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Awful experience. Use to be a solid hotel that felt very luxurious. Now with broken parking gates, swearing bus drivers and lack of maid service, I would book anywhere else in the area. Their shuttle bus driver yelled and swore at my wife, 3 year old daughter and myself as we were waiting in our car for staff to open the broken parking lot gate so we could park our car. It got so dangerous that I had to drop my family off at the front door and circle around to keep my family away from this dangerous employee. When I went to inform the front desk I was told he's a contractor and they would call the company but nothing will come of it. When I finally returned to the room we found yet again for the third day in a row, after we followed the staffs instructions, requesting maid service. Again the front desk had no reply other than they are short staff. This isn't the most expensive resort in the area but it also isn't the cheapest. We were Hilton Rewards members and now have to find a new chain as it is obvious Hilton is not concerned with guest safety or experience.

My stay here this weekend was fantastic! Such a nice hotel and super comfortable beds. I love how we were able to take the bus straight to Epcot in the morning, that was very convenient. I do wish more than one elevator was working but we were able to use the service elevator as well as the one lobby one that was working. This hotel is in walking distance to Disney springs and they have a Benihana attached to the hotel if you're feeling up to hibachi or some sushi! I've been there once before and I remember it being very good.

Fabulous hotel. Close to Disney springs. We used Uber to get to the parks so it’s close. Anywhere between $7-15 each way. Wonderful pool with lazy river. The food was very tasty both breakfast, grab and go and the pool bar. Large rooms. We had a Disney springs view on floor 17. Very helpful staff in reception. Would certainly stay again. A wonderful stay.

We only stayed for one night, but that one night was worth it! The rooms were clean, spacious. The amenities are awesome. Highly recommend.

Such an amazing experience we had! The buffet was soooo good! All the staff were amazing and always helpful and constantly smiling. So please we most definitely will be back!

Great staff but it takes forever to buy anything — — even a bottle of water. And they want to know if you want to leave a tip for buying the bottle of water, that you got off the shelf yourself, and then waited in line for 5 minutes to buy because the system takes so long, and they charged you $3.50 for the bottle of water. And everything is WAY too expensive. It's like movie theater prices wherever you go. But the staff go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable.

First time to stay here. Came in for cheer competition. Excellent staff, great amenities. Our room was great and our stay memorable. East walk to Disney Springs. Highly recommend!

The balcony is disgusting and the noise in the hallway is horrible and we are across from vending ice and any time someone goes in it wakes us up and the bathroom door is so noisy and I don't care for listening to my spouse go to the restroom and the front door I understand is for handicapped but it takes forever to close. Parking for hotel is poorly positioned but if you are there for the conference hall you are good because apparently that is more important than your guests. Also my husband broke out in a terrible rash. It says rooms are sanitized for safety but they most only clean in spots that are easy visible because there was mold in the shower. Ewe. Only good thing about this place is it is a quick walk to Disney Springs. Definitely not worth the price. Was not impressed at all.

Attentive and friendly staff!

So far the staff have been very nice and the view of Disney Springs is amazing. The walk to Disney Springs is not far and the pools look very nice.

Outdated rooms, showers head from last century, bathrooms look like an old apartment from 1960, poor concierge service, no valet parking and you have to park and walk to the hotel from another zip code not to mention that they charge $22 for overnight parking. Very disappointed at this HILTON HOTEL I won’t be back.

TERRIBLE place to stay.
1) Parking — the lot is an extremely long walk. If you can't get someone to take you on a golf cart, you just lost time and energy. The decent parking location isn't marked, and they apparently don't want guests using it.
2) They will charge you $350+ extra, just for kicks upon arrival! So you better have that available in your account.
3) Parking is $22 p/day + $35 resort fee. Are you kidding me? For what you get… $35? No. That's $57 per day!
4) Hot water is not available a lot of the time, including strange hours where it should be in great supply.
5) The AC unit MAY work. It may not.
6) The bell service rules are terrible. They aren't there for convenience, they are there to get paid no matter what. Go through them, or good luck getting to your rooms. Management fully supports this terrible idea.

The rooms are nice, but the hotel is SOOO not handicap-friendly! The handicap parking spaces are FAR away from the rooms & the desk. The concierge & the Front Desk Team Leader didn’t know how to get to the other set of handicap spaces — they said they were for the Valet cars. WTF? Even the Security guy didn’t know. Fortunately the Head Valet has a brain & got us to a space closer to our room, but it’s still FAR away if you have a handicap that impedes walking. Not to mention some of the handicap spaces are blocked by a special event tent! We will stay somewhere else next time.

Here on business but able to enjoy comfortable spacious rooms. Have already helpful courteous staff.

Excellent above and beyond customer service. Have managed to keep the Mouse out if it so a nice reprieve for the stupid mouse crap.

Drain was clogged. Sink faucets were reversed hot/cold. AC did not work well. It was a huge hassle to deal with hotel staff and we still don’t know if they will rectify this. They were not at a concerned about pleasing this Diamond Honors guest.

After coming here for 6 years I will never come here ever again. The staff here doesn’t know what they are doing. My family and I checked in and they gave a room that wasn’t even clean. Checked into another room great! Then a day before leaving my dad and I got sick ended up in the emergency room. The guy in charge of the food staff said it can’t be from that because 32 other people ordered the same stuff and didn’t get sick. Let me tell you the hotel had a ambulance come the day before we went to the emergency room and after we went. Hmmm fishy I want to know what happened. Now they are telling they aren’t gonna pay anything because they aren’t reliable. They will get a nice phone call. This place is garbage.

Stayed 4 nights and loved everything. Stayed on the 21st floor. Loved the balcony. First floor store with Starbucks and tons of options open 24 hours.

Awesome pool area with a full service bar, lazy river, and ample seating. This area alone was worth the price. We also love Disney springs and the location of this hotel is perfect for visiting there. Only qualm is they nickel and dime you for parking and their resort fee.

First room the front desk guy wrote down wrong room number-it was occupied! Second room had wet carpets and large fan blowing the carpet dry. Waiting for someone to bring keys for a 3rd room and if they are not here soon we are out of here! 30 min later a 3rd room with view of dumpster (my 1 request at check in — no dumpster view — too smelly to sit on deck Ducks swimming in large pool. Not one staff member who saw did a thing. A guest led them out with French fries then mgr comes and says pool closed fir sanitation! 15 min later ducks back in pool. Staff does nothing. I finally say to staff get ducks out. They say they will call someone. Someone never came! do not stay here.

I'm fairly disappointed with the quality of this particular Hilton property. The entire building is in desperate need of a makeover. The rooms with their amenities and decor are very dated. Also, my room was filthy upon arrival and had to request housekeeping at 9pm to clean the bathroom. The inside of the drawers are full of dust, hair, and lint. The only bright spot is the service. Everyone is very helpful and responsive.

Great place to stay on Disney property with all the perks that come along with it, including extra magic hours. Get a Disney springs view if you can, it's great! The pool and other accommodations are amazing. The shuttle buses run late and at random times, so be forwarned. Pro tip, Domino's delivers until 3 am, but you have to meet them in the lobby. They will not bring it to your door.

This is our alternate location to stay. Value is not bad and tree views of the EPCOT fireworks are very good. Pool is solid, but get there early as getting a place to sit is often a major challenge. Plane always seems like it's under some sort of construction. Rooms don't always seem well maintained. Last visit, safe didn't work… Fridge didn't cool well. Two broken lamps.

I stayed at this resort 8/26-8/30. We were better off at Best Western, better staff, linens, I can’t get over the dirty linens after requesting new ones and servicing. Took pictures and I will be emailing your guest services. Wished I read the reviews before on Facebook instead of Expedia. Gave it one star because front desk gave me an additional hour to check out since my four year son became ill. Parking — horrible, be prepared to walk a minute from the lot to the fron…t. Food — breakfast was terrible (we ate McDonald’s instead) Staff — needs so much improvement, not many are pleasant. Pool — no lifeguard on premises. Beds — I can’t even start with the beds — see pics in comments Oh and after having the room serviced we found a red lighter at our balcony, it didn’t belong to us, we don’t smoke and I have an asthmatic son who became ill during our stay. No one cleans the dryer lint basket, I did it for you on all 4 machines. There’s no elevator to the second floor where the laundry room is located. I had to go to the 1st or 3rd floor and then walk up or down to the laundry room with a luggage of laundry. I can’t recommend, shameful because of the Hilton name and it’s an Official Walt Disney World Hotel. Best part was being outside the hotel, and the walk to Disney Springs which is a 5-7 walk. No microwave in room, however there’s one in the first floor shop. It was just a bit painful to pay the resort fee.

Overall we had a great stay. The AC in the room doesn’t really get cold until late at night, and the room smelled musty. Other than that, I’d say the lazy river needs plants trimmed back and also a lifeguard. People just let their kids run rampant and they are running and jumping off ledges, surfing on tubes, etc. It’s dangerous and annoying. Loved the customer service from bellmen, valet, pool servers, etc.

If you want to wait in long lines, wait extremely long wait times for your baggage to arrive to your room, not be able to get a hold of the front desk or manager on duty after multiple transfers, have them not review your check in requests online thus waiting almost 2 hours for a crib (for my very tired 5 mth old), and be treated like you are just a number even as a Hilton Diamond member (soon to be Diamond for life/1000nights) then this is for you. As for me and my family we won’t be staying here again. Worst Hilton we’ve stayed at in the Orlando area. Wonderful pool although not worth all the headache. Very very disappointed!

We stayed there for 5 nights to visit parks in Orlando. We were quite naive about the resorts in Orlando, so we just booked a package of hotel + flight through Expedia. It has been many years since we stayed there, but it could be helpful about the experience. They have bus facilities to Disney as this resort is inside the Disney Area. The plus point of this resort is, its just opposite to Downtown Disney which is the best place to hangout at night. We enjoyed the pool area as well as the hotel premises, everything was good. They gave us the corner room which was huge compared to the other rooms besides us. Rooms were clean and the housekeeping were prompt to respond to our requests. You can get tickets to the parks in the resort itself at the Disney store downstairs. There is a spa too, we didn't experience it though as most of our time was consumed visiting the parks. I would recommend it.

I don’t even know where to begin… we stayed here this past weekend for a quick birthday trip for my youngest daughter. I will start out saying the proximity to Disney Springs and the view for the fireworks was an amazing plus, allowing me to rate it the 1 star that I did. However, that was completely forgotten after experiencing all of the negatives. The first day we stayed there we noticed that the pool area is not suited to entertain the amount of guests that stay at the resort as there were not enough chairs for probably one third of the guests that were at the pool area that day. Our room was then never cleaned and we had to call to have them come up and they finally returned to clean after 6:00PM. (By then, what’s the point to clean it anyway?! ) My husband then checked out and they double charged us for self parking ($10/night) and then valet parking (25/night) for each of the 3 nights we were there. They also put a hold of $150 (which I understand for incidentals) and then had a mystery $50 hold on our account once checked out. Then to my surprise they double charged us for our room! That is over $500 of overcharges. Once we call and dispute they understood that they had made a mistake but that it will take up to 7 days to show on our account. Imagine if we didn’t have that $500 in our account and then they would have overdrawn us. Travelers beware. This resort is incompetent at the front desk / billing dept and will overcharge you.

I was annexed to the island building. The walk between buildings is just long enough to be uncomfortable. Bathroom was small (door hits the toilet when open) and had that usual hotel mustiness to it. $6 bottles of water in a hot, humid place seems like price gouging. Mini fridge in my room wasn't terribly cold. Breakfast buffet was excellent, but not well organized. All in all, it wasn't terrible, but it wasn't anything special either.

We stayed at The Hilton for a quick weekend getaway and loved it. The hotel is very beautiful and clean. Everyone is friendly. The pool was so relaxing with a lazy river and a splash pad area for kids. Perfect walking distance to all the restaurants and bars at Disney Springs. I highly recommend and we will definitely be staying there again in the future.

Pros: Beds are comfortable. Staff is kind. Rooms are clean, hotel as a whole is clean and well kept. Great walk path to Disney Springs. Showers have good water pressure and stay nice and hot. Cons: If you don't pay for valet parking, please expect a 10 — 15 minute walk to your car. This is not an exaggeration, we literally timed it after the first walk because we found it ridiculous. The rooms will not get cooler than 68, and it doesn't feel that cool at all. It felt closer to 75 or higher even at night. Overall it's a 4 from me as the rooms were not cool at all in this summer heat.

We set up a block of rooms here for our wedding. We had many out of town guests checking in and brought good business. My now husband and I booked a suite for a large amount of money months before our wedding. We obviously wanted a king bed but upon arrival to our suite it was two queen beds. I called the front desk go ask for a room change seeing as though we were paying 1200 for our room and it was for our wedding, and the lady was very rude. She said our room was a VIP clean and that there aren’t any other suite rooms cleaned right now. I asked her to put one on the list and asked if it would be ready by 830 when we would be back from our rehearsal dinner and she with a huge attitude told me she didn’t know and I can put it on the list but that doesn’t mean it will be ready. Seeing as though our room had been booked for months, the fact that it was for our wedding, and that we just brought in a lot of business, I would have expected a nicer response. This person in charge at the front desk had no sympathy or did not care one bit that they messed up our room. I was so appalled. On top of our issues with the front desk person and our room. Every time time we went to valet to get our car, the people would be behind the little stand texting on their phones while we stood there for two minutes or more staring at them and nothing. The staff is very inconsiderate and rude. And I wish we never spent that much money on such poor service.

Went to this hotel for a business trip! Amazing room view of the pool that had a lazy river with tubs and regular pool for hanging out. The bar outside server great bar food for a reasonable price. I order two hot dogs and a water for around $13. The room had comfortable beds that were queen sized. The hotel is right across the street from downtown Disney that has a wide range of food options.

I will start off by saying that the service was much better than I expected for a property like this. Check-in staff was very polite and seemed to go out of their way to assist, which was great. Outside of that experience, hotel was just mediocre. Rooms are definitely showing their age (especially the bathrooms). Beds were not as comfortable as other Hilton properties. HVAC system could have also been better (limited cooling to 68 degrees). Common areas were fine but nothing special. Lazy river was great for the kids.

Walking distance to Disney Springs. Rooms recently renovated, however AC unit goes no lower than 68 degrees. Which would be fine if it actually cooled the room to 68 degrees. It was so warm in the room I hard a hard time sleeping. Lazy River is nice but water was a little too warm. Just an OK stay. Rooms were clean. Btw, the shuttle to Disney world took almost 2 hours from start to finish: bus to "transport area", then security and getting on either tram or ferry, then in line to enter park. Then repeat at the end of the day.

I stayed here for a work conference. The property is well maintained and the room was clean and had great views of Disney springs. The bathrooms were well kept and the staff was very friendly. The catered food left much to be desired. Many meals were inconsistent in terms of quality, taste and execution. Overall, I would stay here again with work. The proximity to Disney Springs is also nice.

My family and I really enjoyed this hotel and the access to everything that comes with the stay. I really enjoyed the pool area as did my kids the lazy river with a nice drinks is awesome. The fire pit by the pool with the artificial turf grass for kids to play on was awesome as well. Access to all the Disney restaurants across the street within a short walk was nice as well. The hotel continental breakfast was probably one of the best I've seen. Car service was fast, the rooms were clean and the free ride to the theme parks beat having to drive and fight the traffic. I definitely would stay again.

Walking distance to Disney Springs. We spent a lot of time there at the awesome pool with zero depth entry, water spouts & lazy river. Pool restaurant is reasonable for a resort. Cafe just OK. Parking is a long walk and $10 night or $20 valet. Rooms were clean and nice but not quite up to what we were expecting. Be aware of the daily resort fee.

This place is terrible for many reasons. 1. Arrived for check in at 3pm. Long line. Attendants unsure of what rooms were reserved by whom despite being provided with printed confirmations. 1 hour to check in. 2. Guest services "don't know" where the advertised shuttles pick up passengers. By exploring, I found the pick up area about 100 ft away from their desk. Received incorrect information from them 3 times before I stopped asking. 3. Rooms are badly designed. Mini fridge is hidden in the dresser, lights are lamps with individual pull cords, hangers provided by hotel are too wide to fit in the closet, shower doors open opposite towel rack so you cannot reach them without stepping onto the cold slippery tiles. No bath mats provided. 4. On premises restaurant is consistently overbooked except between 1 and 5 pm when they are closed. 5. Basement cafeteria is open all day but is overpriced and food is of questionable quality. 6. Bought a bottle of wine for myself and my lady to share. Provided corkscrew snapped in half when I tried to open the bottle. Called guest services and waited a half hour for them to bring us a new corkscrew which also snapped in half. Was told to go down to the lobby and have the bartender open the bottle. His corkscrew also broke and we waited 15 more minutes for them to open the bottle. One hour wasted. Nothing comped. 7. Will never come back here. Do not waste your time and money.

The parking situation is horrendous! Instead of a convention addition and tent space set up in the parking lot, they should build a self service, high rise parking garage. Staff were friendly and polite, food service was fine, but our room was nothing to write home about. There was never hot water in the shower (tepid at best), and a pedestal sink plus a very small towel stand gave us little counter space for toiletries. The best thing about our room was that I’d reserved one where we could see nightly fireworks displays at Epcot and the Magic Kingdom. We also would have liked a microwave to heat up our coffee and make tea. Most hotels seem to provide a microwave today, and we’ve come to expect one. When one person wants tea & the other drinks coffee, a microwave helps! I don’t think we’ll be back. The parking bottleneck alone turned us off, and walking down 17 flights of stairs at 3 AM for a fire alarm activation was not easy for us at 83 & 78 years of age! We just hope they caught those responsible for our lost night of sleep.

The rooms were well maintained (for the most part). High-quality place (lobby and surrounding area) and very professional staff receive you when you check-in and/or out. The breakfast buffet was very diverse with many kinds of fruits, cereals, juices, breads, etc. One thing I have to point out is that the bathtub in our room wouldn't drain as fast as we were showering so the water would stay in there ankle-high and it was kind of gross as we would have to wash our feet after coming out of the bathtub. Also, the room area in which we stayed on the 6th floor was outdated and is in dire need of a massive remodel. Carpets in the hallways are beat up and lifted (bubbled up & wrinkled) in some areas. When we came in the first night it was around 11:30 PM and we had to park far from the main entrance. I noticed that the parking lot was very dark with a few light posts scattered throughout but very dark nonetheless. There were no signs pointing to an alternate entrance so we had to figure out how to go into the building from outside the dark parking lot, very confusing if you go there for the first time (international guests would have a hard time).

Whole checking in was easy enough, we just weren't given much information. We had a very hard time finding parking and the actual building which was a bit of a walk. But the rooms were very nice and clean. All of the staff was nice as well. We had 2 adults and 2 children and there were plenty of towels for all of us. Also, I usually have to ask for extra pillows but there were 4 on each bed plus extra in the closet which was wonderful. The balcony was beautiful as well. Check out was wonderful and the gentleman working was a complete delight and so helpful. We also did the character breakfast at the letter press and I have to say it was amazing. My husband was not excited about a buffet style breakfast, but he loved it. We've eaten breakfast all over disney from resorts to in the parks and I have to say this was the best breakfast we ever had. It was all delicious and so fresh. I had the most amazing waffles I've ever eaten and the prosciutto was to die for. The staff was so kind and the characters were a delight and so much fun.

Beautiful place. Just did not feel welcomed at all. Showed up late from being at Disney all day. I checked in around 12:30am. She was extremely rude and unhelpful, like I was a burden to her. After we got our keys we drove around for 25 minutes for parking… not one spot available near the island resort area I had to be dropped off in the middle of a parking lot and my fiancé had to park at the back end of the hotel. Finally someone onsite called a golf cart for us. Once we arrived the room was nice and large… but the bathrooms were dirty and moldy in the showers. Not what I expect from a Hilton… especially this one.

Great experience. Construction didn't affect much, great clean modern and comfortable room. Staff gave us anniversary breakfast vouchers and the breakfast was phenomenal at their new restaurant. Really satisfied with our stay, will definitely come back.

My kids had their senior prom at the resort. Although very nice, parking was difficult, there were few spaces available, and the roundabout at the hotel entrance was small and often blocked. The event was well served, but my daughter's chicken was not cooked enough. Overall a great evening with only minor drawbacks. There is quite a bit of construction going on at Disney Springs, which also detracted from the evening. But still, it's hard to have a bad time at Disney, even when things aren't perfect it's better than anywhere else!

Just checked in, to find out we are nearly 1/4 mile from the main building where the parking is on the opposite side. Not one staff member in this building no convenience areas to be found and no where to drop off bags and unload. This place isn't worth $60 a night let alone twice that.

We are currently staying here and thankfully tonight is our last night. The hotel is beautiful and the staff that assists with luggage, etc is wonderful. However it is under renovation and the construction work is EXTREMELY NOISY from 7 am on because our room over looks it with both balcony's 4623. When we called the front desk to complain about the noise the lady simply said sorry. We even explained we have a 1 yr old that can't nap with the noise and get woken up daily from it. Needless to say once the construction is done it will probably be wonderful but the lack of willingness to offer us solutions considering our room location is why I rated them poorly. It's sad that we brought our family here for a vacation not knowing what was under construction and then it was far from relaxing with the noise. Had we not brought a baby it may not have been a huge issue, but I explained we had a baby here and NOTHING was done.

They do a great job of keeping you comfortable, rooms are nice with some awesome views of Disney Springs. Short walk and you have access to it all. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

My husband and I stay here once a year. We love staying here. It is right across the street from Disney Springs. Great location! Our recent stay was the best stay ever. We received an upgrade to the penthouse suite and also got free drink and free breakfast vouchers due to them having computer issues when we checked in. I have to give a special thanks to Peggy and Mercher who checked us in that day. They were both very pleasant and took great care of us. I recommend this hotel to everyone I know who is going to this area.

Even though the hotel is going through renovations to convert into a Hilton branded hotel, it was still a great experience. The rooms were comfortable. The staff were pleasant and greeted everyone in our group. The biggest surprise was the breakfast vouchers for Hilton Honors Diamond status cover the Sunday Character Breakfast, which the kids loved.

Not nearly as bad as people made out. We got a fireworks view room and could see fireworks. TV is small and old, but the room is clean and comfortable, the bathroom is normal sized, the bed is super comfortable and came with comforter. The bar downstairs is awful and the drinks are about the price you'd expect for the location ($6 bud lite), didn't try the restaurant, spa is possibly closed (staff were rude and obtuse when we asked), reception is… Weird. Parking lot is about a five minute uncovered walk which is awkward with the rain. Disney springs is about a ten minute walk. Overall our room was perfectly fine for the money — can't comment on the other rooms as ours did not have the issues (eg super small bathrooms) that others had.

The staff was exceptionally attentive, polite, and helpful. The design of the building is ideal for conferences, but the conference rooms are between the guest rooms and the parking lot; so hotel guests have to walk fairly far to get to their car if they don't use valet. The restaurant and bar have good food. Rooms are well decorated and comfortable, but the doors tend to slam and noise from the hall is easily heard in the rooms.

The king suite was big and comfortable. I loved how clean and well maintained our room was! The staff was so sweet and on top of everything. The location was awesome because your in the center of it all! I am very pleased with my stay here!

First, the good part… good water pressure, fast hot water, nice pool area, arcade for kids, fast elevators, ceiling fan in room. The bad part… ANTS in room, REFRIG in room BROKEN, ICE MACHINES BROKEN on multiple floors, very few food options within hotel, ANALOG TV signal, only 1 large towel in my room, bathroom cleanliness was just ok. Hotel needs some serious maintenance.

My wife and I are Disney Annual Pass holders. We actually live in the area and like to stay-cation at the Palace. This was our 13th visit to the Palace! This trip was for our 35 wedding anniversary and a Disney visit. We booked a tower king room with the fireworks view on the 22nd floor. Mercher Campbell at the hotel took care of all the arrangements. We were greeted with a bottle of champagne on ice and a tray of delicious chocolate covered strawberries plus a wonderful anniversary card and 2 complimentary breakfasts in the Watercress. Our room was spotless and the pillow top king bed was firm but very comfortable. The in-room dining service was great, food was well prepared, hot and delivered quickly. (BTW, the Palace burgers are awesome) The staff are all courteous and helpful. Valet, bellman, front desk and housekeeping A+! The reservation department runs like a well oiled machine with a friendly demeanor! Can't say enough good things about them and our experience. Over the years we have stayed at almost all of the hotels on Hotel Plaza Blvd. And came to learn that the Palace is by far the best in the Downtown Disney area. All the hotels in the area, including the Palace charge a resort fee above the room charge so, be advised. But, the bus service is totally worth the extra price and usually comes at :05 and :35 after the hour, which is very convenient. Sure beats battling the resort area traffic!

This is the worst hotel in disney/orlando. Never stay here save your money. First we asked for a room on one of the first three floors due to extreme fear of heights. We booked with a comment asking for one. Then called and asked for it. Then even asked when we first checked it. We were then told no we don't had any. Next we had rips in our bed sheets. Lastly alarms went off at 6am and were told to evacuate. No member of the hotel ever came to tell us to go back inside.

Horrible, when you plan a trip to disney with your family, you expect a 4 stars hotel to actually BE a 4 stars hotel. Unacceptably dirty, by far the dirtiest hotel I've ever been. Found insects on the bed the third day. The rooms are at best 2 stars. (I'm being generous) The only thing that is nice is the lobby. I do NOT recommend this hotel. If you want a nice stay at an hotel whilst on your trip I suggest you look elsewhere. And for the management of this hotel, I would recommend to be more attentive in the health department. This is not acceptable. Sanitation should be your primary concern. The rooms MUST be clean. Apologies will not get you anything. Thank you.

I stayed here for a convention, I was not here to visit the parks so I did not leave the hotel very much. Pros — — — — — — — — The hotel is beautiful Wait staff are all very kind and pleasant. The coffee was consistent and of a moderate flavor and intensity, I liked the coffee very much. T-Mobile reception is pretty good except in the convention center. Cons — — — — — — — — — — — Food and Drink: Food is too expensive for the lack of quality provided. When I pay about $15-30 dollars per meal I expect to be blown away. It is highway robbery. Drinks are heavy poured and astronomically expensive, starting at $10 usually. Deserts and most breakfast items are all store bought. The croissants are poorly made, wrong dough and cheaply made. Cleaning Staff: Cleaning staff are more than okay with giving you a rude awakening. They slam the doors and yell at each other from hall to hall. I am not being unreasonable — when I am sleeping in, I don't want to be woken up with the slamming doors. Technology and Wi-Fi: The so called free Wi-Fi is completely unusable. It just doesn't work and if you manage to connect it is 56K speeds. The Wi-Fi in the convention center is not free and if you need it in a pinch it isn't something that can just be given to you or turned on. There are no FREE to use business computers, everything is pay to play. The one machine they had for printing out boarding passes was busted. The TVs in the rooms are ancient.

This place was a joke. Went here with my husband for our honeymoon and stayed in room 1738 with a "fireworks view". The hotel is so far from Disney that the fireworks look like a flickering traffic lamp. Nothing like the pictures on the website. Our room was right outside of the elevator and people could be heard coming and going and slamming doors at all hours of the night. We were told we would get a 15% discount for presenting our AAA card at check in. When we asked about it at check in they said they didn't need to see the card and never applied the discount. On the second night of our stay we ordered ice cream from room service. It cost $12 and when they brought it to our room 45 minutes after we ordered, it was melted. The parking lot was jam packed forcing you to park insanely far away unless you pay $21 for valet. Valet service is NOT included in the $21 resort fee. On the third night of our stay, the shower would not drain. We called about it and were told an engineer would be sent right up. After waiting 30 minutes he finally showed up, tried to fix it and couldn't. He left then came back twice. It took about 45 minutes for him to finally fix it. At this point it was 1am and we had to be out of our room by 11am the next morning. The smell from the shower after being ununclogged was so putrid that we could not even stay in the room. We checked out that night at 1am only to receive a refund for one night, not including the resort fee.

This is a clean hotel within easy walking distance to downtown Disney. I've stayed here multiple times and have stayed at other hotels on hotel plaza blvd. And can confidently say that this hotel is the best deal in that area. As others have mentioned there is a "resort fee" that is not well advertised. The "fee" that you pay to the booking sites is the booking fee and goes directly to the site that you booked through not the hotel. If you don't like the fee don't use the site. I book directly with buena vista palace and I've always gotten the lowest price (And no booking fee) as for the "resort fee", many hotels on that road, if not all of them, charge this fee. Buena Vista palace DOES NOT charge a "parking fee" which many hotels do on that road (thank you BVP! ) The hotel is clean and updated, the staff is pleasant, and the facilities are adequate. For the price you cannot beat this hotel. I always enjoy my stay :).

Our experience at this hotel was very satisfying. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Although I can not say it's a 5 star hotel, 4 stars is a fair assessment. I booked online and the $22 fee was very clear so it's up to the potential guest to make a decision whether to book or find a different hotel. Some people just get offended over anything and decide to post negative reviews that could possibly be uncalled for. I'm sure that if something was not up to my standards, I could call someone and have it resolved but, if not, then I can always choose a different hotel, there are plenty to choose from. Anyways I'm having too much fun to waste time complaining.

I booked this hotel through one of the travel sites. I was charged an additional $21.95 resort fee plus tax that I clearly had a receipt showing I paid to the travel site. The receptionist informed me it was illegal for the online travel site to charge me the resort fee and charged me for it again. I can't say they were rude about it but they certainly were not pleasant either. As far the room goes, the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean for the most part. The shower door leaked dumping a pool of water on the floor. The pool did not look anything like the pictures, it was very small for the size of the hotel. Everything is so spread out across this resort and not amicable for special needs individuals. I had my daughter who has Down Syndrome with me and she had a hard time navigating the steep walkways. The bus to the parks should also indicate they drop off in the parking lot so be prepared for another hike. I would definitely spend the extra $50 to $100 to stay at a true Disney resort before I would stay here again. Definitely not worth the savings.

We had a fantastic trip planned through Costco in April of 2015. We were a bit apprehensive about the hotel after reading some of the reviews. However, our experience was fantastic. The hotel was clean, the personnel went out of their way to welcome us and the food in the Watercress Cafe was great. There was free public transportation to and from the hotel and the Disney Parks every half hour and they were very close to being on time even with the construction project that was taking place. Walking distance to downtown Disney was, indeed, no more than 5 minutes from the hotel. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. Great experience.

We booked 2 rooms in The Buena Vista Palace Hotel and Spa through Travelocity over the phone. There was no mention during booking that there would be an extra $22 + tax per room per night "resort fee" at the time of check in. I've never booked a room with Travelocity and had to pay more upon arrival. With my 2 rooms for 3 nights, it ended up being around $150 extra after tax. We got the rooms with the view of the fireworks, but there's not much to see because you're so far away. The fireworks look pretty small. Don't believe the pictures you see online showing fireworks that look like they're right outside you're room. They're clearly Photoshopped. The rooms were OK, but our shower still had some hair on the wall and a couple of "fresh" towels had hair tangled in them. The wall paper was peeling in one of the bathrooms. My overall impression is that this hotel used to be an upscale resort that has been allowed to deteriorate. I saw several signs of a lack of maintenance. On the plus side, the buses to Disney run right on time every 30 minutes. We had no problem getting to and from all 4 parks, plus, it's right across from Downtown Disney.

Update: My visit 4/12 — 4/14, rm 922, Thank you for your reply. I heard it's beautiful in Oct. In no particular order — The staff was misleading and or clueless — with absolutely no help if you plan to visit Universal. Prices for certain items varied between employees (not sure if they're just pocketing your cash). Had to carry our own luggage up to our room with no bell hops in sight. Got locked out twice with our card key. The One80 bar and grill inside hotel — service was horrible with the manager just leaving us standing (there was maybe 2 other parties eating with all empty seats avail). Food was cold, waitress never brought us ordered water. And this was during low crowd! The single star I gave was due to the physical state of the building and room — it was pleasant and acceptable. * I was planning another visit in Oct. But I think I will look into other hotels.

Stayed here because of a Costco deal and it's a good hotel for those visiting Disney world. It's close to the parks and Downtown Disney, and you get a nice view of the Florida swampland. LOCATION (4/5) : It's walkable to downtown Disney but there is no sidewalk/bridge or tunnel directly across which is kinda of annoying. The parking lot also gets full so you may have to park far away to walk to the hotel, which is bad after a long day walking around the parks. But otherwise its quite convenient since you are technically in the resort area and there are free shuttles (although driving is faster). Also, I liked getting breakfast at the restaurant downstairs. AMENITIES (2/5) : The hotel is a little outdated and it definitely feels like they haven't updated much since the 90's. The gym also looked outdated and was next to a large window which would make me kinda self-conscious (although I don't know who would use the gym since you're vacationing at Disney). The worst part was the shoddy internet connection — it is extremely unreliable and only came on at random times. Otherwise everything else was standard. SERVICE (4/5) : The concierge was especially nice when we requested tickets to Universal and even gave us helpful tips. Check-in and out were efficient. Food service was a little slow but not extremely outrageously priced. Overall, this place is a pretty good deal despite the fact that there is much to improve.

Horrible Hotel for being in such a nice area of Disney. Front desk staff was fairly rude to me and my fiance when we were checking in. Our room was not at all what we expected, called to have it changed and female on phone stated they were completely booked and we could not change rooms. Even as we headed out of the hotel to visit DownTown Disney in the evening there was a female "Security Guard" smoking reefer in her damn car. Its just Ghetto! Don't come here unless you just need a cheap hotel for a night.

Some of it is a tad dated. But it is still very clean, the rooms are spacious, perfectly located near Downtown Disney, easy access to the rest of the WDW resort, and a ton of amenities just in the hotel itself. Staff is very friendly and polite as well. Sure worth $120 a night.

Friking hated it. Everything was nice until they locked us out middle of the night at the 6th floor without a notice. Reason — credit card had an Issue of extending authorization. How about call the costumer as a courtesy and figure out the issue like humans. Night crew specially the woman at front desk 3/18 2015 is a natzi. It is a clean hotel with unpleasant staff at front desk. Specially if you are a average guy with a family don't go there it is not for us. There is a best western next door go there and save a buck and your dignity. well read other reviews. So you know I am not alone.

Last weekend was our third stay at Buena Vista Palace in the last 2-3 years (clearly, we are Disney junkies). We have enjoyed every stay. Our most recent stay we booked the room while on the interstate and got a great deal for just $98 for a Saturday night. We stayed in the Island building which is separate from the main buildings. Although it was a walk, it was a beautiful room and right next to the pools (great for children). They have signs in the rooms warning of the effects of Florida's humidity on the air conditioners and such, which may explain others copmlaints. The MAJOR downfall of this nice hotel is the sports bar/grill on site, 180 Sports Bar. It is not very clean looking and when you walk in it is very dark and uninviting. Besides that, we love staying here.

I looked at all the reviews before booking this Hotel and everything seemed great. We checked in on a Saturday and we were all excited when we arrived. I checked in and decided to upgrade to a Family suite which is in a building away from the mail building. I paid significantly more for the room not knowing the room would have carpet your feet would turn black from and smell like cat urine. It smelled a little when we arrived but we gave it the benefit of the doubt. We slept and then took the bus to Magic Kingdom and when we returned, all we could smell was an old cat urine musty smell. (I will note that I did call the front desk and complained and they offered a new room but we already had our belongings scattered around and have children. They also offered some air freshener). As someone else mentioned, the location is GREAT as you can literally walk right across the street to Downtown Disney. Unfortunately for the price, I made a mistake. Perhaps I shouldn't have upgraded and stayed with the original reservation in the main building. Maybe those rooms are cleaner. Or, there is a Wyndam next door that also looks promising that I could have got for the price after I upgraded my room. I feel a little ripped off for what we paid with our hard earned money on a family trip.

Just got back from staying here! Had a Groupon for it. Had amazing views of Downtown Disney from the room I stayed at! Enjoyed my time spent at the resort! All the staff was super nice. Make sure to keep the door to your balcony closed or bugs will fly in. Which is common here in Florida. Would stay here again if more great deals come my way.

Average. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Book this hotel only if u r planning to go to Disneyland. Location is great but stay is awful. Pros: Location Location Location Cons: Toilets were not cleaned. Its a shared door rooms so you cannot even watch TV after 10:00 pm. Phone was not working all the 3 days we stayed. Parking is too far and valet costs $21 which is too expensive. Also additional $21.50/night for Wi-Fi and Disney Bus which is not worth. Only analog channels. Housekeeping was bad and people were not friendly. No Microwave and No Breakfast! Suggest lot of good 2 and 2.5 star hotels nearby which has better deals and better service.

The location here is excellent. It is right across the street from Downtown Disney. We were able to walk straight there. There was also a great balcony view over Downtown Disney and the hotel pools. There was an arcade downstairs that the kids enjoyed. The room itself was decorated nicely, but there were problems. The air conditioning return was very dirty. The keyboard that went to the TV was very gross. Nobody would touch it without a tissue. The bathroom had serious humidity problems and mildew. The fan could not keep up, and water collected on the ceiling. When you got out of the shower, it dripped back down on you. The bathroom door swelled up so much after two people in our party had showers, that we could not close it all the way. There were cup rings on the bathroom sink from the previous guests where the sink was not cleaned. After we checked out, my daughter forgot her clothes in the closet. As soon as we realized it, we called and asked if we could come back and get them (within a couple of hours). Housekeeping informed us that they didn't bother with lost and found and threw the clothes away. There are so many hotels in this area, I wouldn't take a chance with this one. It is a beautiful place from the outside, and it has a nice location, but it isn't worth all that comes with it.

I loved the Kay Casperson lifestyle spa located inside this hotel. I had a relaxing day using their sauna, whirlpool, and quiet spa pool complimented by a wonderful massage that afternoon. Their therapists are very knowledgeable.

We stayed over the weekend at the Buena Vista Palace. It's September so the rates were fantastic (we chose to do the breakfast for two package which was a great idea and easily affordable) and it was not overly crowded. Downtown Disney was maybe a five minute walk from the hotel. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. I loved that each room had it's own balcony! The rooms were very spacious and well kept, the view was amazing, overall we had a fantastic experience! The only disappointing aspect was the character breakfast they do on Sunday mornings, possibly because it was down season? The food was great, but there was only one character, Pluto, walking around and although I adore him I was hoping to see Minnie or Mickey as well. I definitely would recommend this Hotel for guests.

I am currently staying at the hotel and would gladly leave but it was booked through Expedia and my options are limited. Despite its close proximity to Downtown Disney it is a worn and dirty hotel. Our first room was dirty (big glob of hair under the sink) and they did move us to another room but it was equally dirty. We have been here three days and the hallways and room have not been vacuumed the entire time. I informed the front desk of the fruit that was smashed and ground into the carpeting in the hallway, but they couldn't help me and told me to speak to housekeeping. Obviously housekeeping would be the last people to speak with since they do not keep the hotel clean to begin with. Finally spoke to front desk supervisor Daisy and was assured hotel is vacuumed regularly. She did say that she would advise the housekeeping supervisor. I still haven't heard any vacuums! I was offered another room but didn't want to take a chance that room would be even dirtier then the one we have. If cleanliness is important to you do not stay at this hotel.
