Very happy with my stay here! Clean and comfortable. Play areas and pool are very very nice. Was happy to see the toys available for the kids in the sand. Took awhile to get fresh towels but everything else was an A+

You can hear the sea. Collect shells and see the dolphins and fish. It has a swimming pool and playground and small bar. Everything you need without spending so much and enjoying a good vacation. I recommend it.

This place rocks. I went and visit the beach and almost didn’t wanna leave. Alex and tanner was awesome. They went above and beyond my expectations. My room was excellent up to date and new. My view was amazing from the hotel. The marina was Perfect. The food and beach life was Amazing. I love this place I will back ASAP. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Worst customer service ever. The owner manager in the front is a total ass. When it comes to the payment it was all great. But afterwards everything went down hill when I came to the front office to complain about roaches in our room and BED and the rat that ran across my foot when we went to open the door. When I went to the front office he never addressed the roaches but instead insisted in pointing at everything else “we “did wrong. I WAS SLEEPING AND A ROACH CRAWLED OVER ME! When I looked at the bed there was more roaches. Btw the “emergency number “ doesn’t work either I called every number on the books and nobody answered when he finally did after multiple calls the manager he sounded like he was in the club and when he helped me he was rude as if I was staying for free in my room. When I finally got to speak to him in the front office he was accusing me of lying when I have pictures. This BEACH is beautiful but the manager is horrible and disgusting instead of solving the problem he called the cops too. Do not stay here, I feel sorry for his staff if this is how he treats his customers that pay to stay here. Everything is out dated anyways. The bathrooms is very small and smelled like piss the whole time and the AC sounds like a jet plane. The beds are so small. They have a phone that doesn’t work! And you have to pay for every extra person for a wrist band to be on property even though you booked a room

We had the most wonderful vacation at this family owned specialty motel. The 1950’s theme and decor was really fun but the best part was the property and the experience. They have thought of everything to make it special and memorable!

What a lovely stay my grandmother and I had. It felt like home. Right on the beach and the staff are the sweetest! Austin, the manager was so helpful and handsome at that! The housekeeper, Blanca did a wonderful job at cleaning our room. I recommend this resort and will definitely be back.

We love the Plaza Beach Resort! So much to do. Beautiful beach views and easy access right on the beach. Happy Hour every night. Rooms have kitchenettes and everything you need for a great stay. The staff is friendly and helpful! It is a great home away from home!

Had an amazing time. The staff was great the rooms were perfect. We had six people staying in two rooms that conjoined. Was great to wake up and head straight to the beach on the same property. Lots of stores and restaurants within walking distance.

Great little place to stay right on the beach. Items in the room to make an extended stay easier. Stove, refrigerator, pots and pans. We had one small issue on check in and the staff resolved quickly and with an apology. Customer service is great here.

Modest room, exceptionally clean. Location was right on the beach. Nice salt water pool, shuffleboard and oversize chess. Staff was friendly. Not too loud, plenty of parking, all around great family vacation spot!

Spent 5 days at Plaza Beach Hotel. Reasonable price. The customer service is really friendly and they make sure your stay is as pleasant as possible. Very clean rooms, clean nicely layed out pool, bar, grill area, volleyball courts… would definitely recommend & looking forward to coming back.

About as pretty a beach as one could imagine. The sand is white and powdery and the water is beautiful. This hotel is one of those now rate family run businesses. The hotel is well maintained and it is obvious that the family talked pride in their business. The room we stayed in had a stove and full sized refrigerator. This helped us save considerable money with our meals over eating out each meal. They have a happy hour with free beer and wine. What more could you ask for?

It is in a nice location. Close to the beach on the sunset side. The rooms are comfortable and has what is needs to keep snacks and drinks around and enjoy take out with roommates. Free Wi-Fi, good closet space, microwave, fridge and freezer, and a safe.

We've been going to Plaza Beach Resorts for many years and always look forward to our return. The staff are excellent and go out of their way to make sure our stay is perfect. The location is beautiful, right on the beach and there are many amenities for your enjoyment. The property is well cared for and the rooms are extremely clean.

First, let me just start off by saying how beautiful this location is! Compared to some of the chain resorts out there, this quaint, family owned resort is the perfect place to sneak off into paradise. The beach was a nice short walk down from the resort and every night, the sunset was absolutely breath-taking, especially in the comfy, colorful chairs out back! Robert and all the hotel staff were so helpful to my husband and I, we hosted our wedding celebration here. From helping us make sure that everything was set up on time, to assuring that our friends and family who were also staying at the hotel were well taken care of, they were friendly and more than willing to assist. There were activities around the premises to keep the whole family entertained. If you’re. Looking to have an event or just a relaxing weekend on the beach, I highly recommend The Plaza Beach Hotel — Beachfront Resort!

Its okay, has private beach but charges $25 everyday if you want to use an umbrella and lounge chairs! Also tiki bar and pool close at sunset and sometimes didnt even stay open that long! Housekeeping is not included either, $10 if you want it! These were the biggest concerns but overall not bad I guess. Does have charcoal grills to cook out, corn hole to play, volleyball nets on beach, this was nice!

Very good for families, right on the beach and shopping facilities on foot feasible. No need for a car.

Pretty decent hotel. Great access to the beach, chick-fil-a right in front of it. Rooms are ok, had a fridge, stove, dishes in there — so can cook yourself if you feel like it.

A little renovation was done but not enough to charge the amount they do. The pool is small and no hot tub. You have to pay $$ to have house keeping come to your room! I've never heard of such a thing parking is also an issue. You're only allowed one car no matter how many people you have in your room. I had to park my car a mile down the road and pay $25 a night.

Plaza Beach hotel is wonderful. The hotel is clean, modern, with a friendly staff. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice relaxing place to unwind for vacation. Smaller and more personal than the big hotels these people really care about your experience when you stay here. Oh, and did I mention? Its directly connected to one of the most beautiful beaches in Florida!

Overall experience for a two night stay was fantastic. Service was very friendly and went above expectations with accommodations. The room was spacious, eco friendly and very clean. Would recommend or stay at again.

Looking forward to our stay to see my mom in january, who lives 3.6 miles from this hotel. I am not worried about some reviews, as saw the beach right at your doors. Just blessed to be by the beach and look forward to our stay. I understand can't please everybody, and see your rating. So not worried. Overall sounds like a good place to stay. Once I stay I will rate again.

This place is a diamond in the rough. We we're looking online and found this small hotel. We liked it so much we stayed an additional night so we could enjoy the pool, beach, bar in back and just relax without all the daily BS. I highly recommend this for a quick getaway. The rooms are dated but very nice.

The room was quaint and clean. Perfect for our little family. The kids loved the pool and beach was steps from our room. Very easy to go in and out. Loved the chairs on the beach. Great for watching the sunset. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back.

Everything is as advertised but it is a charming motel with a kitchenette and a couple of things to play, not a “resort”. Several such motels in this area seem to call themselves “resorts”, so maybe we cannot really complain about the name choice. We stayed 3 nights. The rooms are somewhat updated but the plumbing is terrible, water takes a very long time to drain, have to flush the toilet 3-4 times etc. For the price we could probably have found a place that provides daily cleaning. You have to check out beach towels and if you need fresh towels, you have to leave your dirty towels out by noon. You also have to leave your trash out if you want it picked up. Simple things but they made the stay not so comfortable. You will be charged $10 if you lose your key. Parking has easy access to only one set of rooms and you have to walk a liitle to the others. Pool is open only 11-6 (Thanksgiving time, but still seemed like bankers hours). Mini golf is a joke, but the volleyball courts are nice. People staying there were friendly, but many were smokers. The rooms are non smoking but every room had two ash trays right outside which people used and really made it uncomfortable for me. The rooms also smell and it’s impossible to get rid of the smell even with windows open. You are asked not to set the AC below 72 degrees. If you want easy access to beach, this is good but it’s over priced, I would not stay here again. Staying at a best western tonight and the room is 10 times better!

We were excited to be able to have our family and friends all stay at the Plaza Beach Resort for our wedding reception and relaxation. We all had such a wonderful time. Everyone appreciated the games, chairs and activities that were provided for our convenience. THANK YOU PBR For such a great weekend. We are already planning a return.

This place was awesome. We loved our time at Plaza Beach Hotel. The beach was not crowded. The resort was very peaceful and relaxing. We will return. The staff was very friendly and very helpful on places to eat and visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The rooms were nice and big. They had a refrigerator, small stove and sink. Excellent access to the beach, nice swimming pool. They offered mini golf, bags game, and other things to do. It was close to restaurants also. The only negative for me was they didn't offer coffee until 8am so you had to go down the street to get coffee if you woke up early.

Great value with plenty to do. Does feel kinda like a retirement community though. AGAVE was one of the best local Mexican I've had!

Me and my family stayed there in July and loved it. It is very clean. Staff and owners very accomadating to our needs. It's quaint. Family owned and oriented which was right up our ally since it was my son. Daughter in law and myself and spouse and our two grand boys. We stayed one night at their other place which was bayside and it was awesome as well. I would suggest this place to anyone. Book and enjoy! I might add we ask for upgrade due to the 6 of us and they truly made it happen with a smile. This place is a gem and each and everyone from owner. Front desk staff. House keeping etc were wonderful. You can't get service like that just anywhere for sure. They should be very proud.

Great location on the beach side. Spacious and clean. Full size refrigerator! Helpful, friendly employees. We will stay there again next time we're in town!

What a pleasant surprise! This place is family orientated and eco friendly. I truly appreciate the attention to small details (tote bag for shopping, dish soap, flavored coffee creamers, washer and dryer, etc). There's a small Putt Putt golf, shuffle board, and outdoor chess on the property. Chris's bar has the best prices on the beach. There isn't a restaurant here but Darla has Hot Dogs and chips right outside the pool (cheap! ) and there was barbecue chicken or pork as well. The bonus for us was a professional sand volleyball tournament. A fun/fine group of people. I will return.

We pretty much loved this place. There were 6 or us, and it was just enough to give us what we need. The view was awesome, and there was so much to do without even getting in a car. The private beach access, tiki bar, swimming pool, and well maintained beach volleyball courts were extra little perks. It's charming, a bit dated, but overall really great for us. We'll be back!

The location is great, it is close to a lot of different restaurants and some nightlife spots. The beach bar is great for grabbing a quick drink and heading to the beach. The beach is right behind the resort. The rooms are great and very comfortable. This place is family oriented and lots of things to do! It is quiet and peaceful. The staff and service are amazing and very friendly! We will definitely be staying here again!

Stayed for 10 days — — Best value in SPB! Walk out of your room right to the ocean, the pool, the bar, mini golf, bags, shuffle board, or the reason my group chose this resort… The professional grade volleyball courts! Not to mention walking distance to bars, restaurants, grocery stores and other conveniences.

Everyone was super nice! It's perfect for families with smaller ones bc of its size! I can't wait to go back! The only hotel we will stay in while in St Pete beach!

Po otrzymaniu potwierdzenia dzwonilam jeszcze 2 razy zeby sie upewnic, czy pokoj aby bedzie napewno "ocean view " I 2 razy zapewniono mnie, ze tak. Po przyjezdzie na miejsce, zmeczeni po przejechaniu 1200 mil zaprponowali nam bez slowa wyjasnienia pokoj w zupelnie innym budynku przy najbardziej zatloczonej, halasliwej ulicy. Nie wiem po co wlasciciel oglasza sie w informatorze polonijnym skoro graduje gosci na rownych I rowniejszych. Nie polecam tego miejsca. Ciasno, bardzo nieprzyjemna manager, nieprofesjonalni oszusci.

We 've booked our ocean view room 2 months in advance to spend there New Years' Eve. We were informed small dogs are accepted but there is additional fee which I agreed to pay. We paid deposit plus $25 a day for our little dog and got confirmation via email. Confirmation didn't say it's ocean view room, so I called to make sure it's actually ocean view room and I heard yes. We happened to travel to Florida by car. From Chicago it took 2 days. After arriving and checking in it turned out they don't accept dogs in ocean view rooms and we were offered some crappy room across the street. So instead of smelling ocean breeze and enjoy sound of the sea, they offered us "lovely" smell and sound of the street for the same money. Actually we didn't need to leave Chicago to have the same. It was the meanest experience we've ever had at any hotel. Very unprofessional, irresponsible staff and by the way we haven't even heard any apology. Very mean, place.

Fantastic family run resort. Great staff, our housekeeping team was awesome. Kayla and Mariana (? ) did such a great job, even tucked in my son's stuffed animals while we enjoyed the beach and pool. The only items that needed attention were the laundry facilities, try as we might the dryer just could not dry our clothes. We did better using the railing and the warm gulf breeze. The fishing poles need maintenance. Since you are charging for them, they should be kept up. We rented poles and got bait from a nearby bait and tackle for just a couple bucks more. The rooms are charming, ours could have used a couple more "comfy" chairs but to be honest we didn't come to SPB to hang out in the hotel room but they would have been nice when we were winding down with the kids in the evening… we got by without and this is a very minor item. Coffee service should start earlier, 8am is too late. Overall our stay was quite pleasant and we are taking home many great memories.

Our stay at Plaza Beachfront Resort was exactly what I wanted! I did a lot of research & comparison before I booked this trip. I wanted an oceanfront room that was super close to the beach and a family friendly, casual atmosphere and I couldn't have found a better fit for us. We went parasailing, took a drive up to Clearwater Aquarium to see Winter, played shuffleboard & chess and took in the beautiful sunsets! It was just wonderful!
