The rooms are very old worn down old fashion looking it doesn’t look like the pictures also very very small and the wate view is horrible the rooms etc is very distracting my kids didn’t want to stay all it was disappointing do not do not book her all I was able to get my refund at all that’s very very sad people do not work with u at all just sad.

Very relaxing. All staff are amazing and friendly. Anyone who has a chance to escape, even if for one night, this IS the place to go. Fishing is great, more than enough chairs and space on the beach that you arent scrambling for somewhere to sit. The pools are clean and refreshing! Overall 5-plus

What a great place. You are on the bay side. Ultra friendly people every time I come here. Aquatic life come into the bay quite often. Dolphins & manatees. And the bird life.

Fabulous weekend spent with my beautiful wife at Bay Palms. Excellent 1BR apartment with excellent direct bay view. Clean, well appointed room with no detail overlooked. Staff is exceedingly warm, friendly and accommodating. Making this an annual retreat for us. Absolutely terrific!

Great location and affordable. Perfect for our one night stay. Room was small but had everything including microwave, fridge, heating plate, dishes, silverware, pots, table and chairs.

We were looking for an affordable place to stay while traveling. Came across the Bay Palms. Weren’t expecting much, for the price. This place is hands down the BEST place we have stayed. The staff is AMAZING, the room is beyond what we expected and we got to see manatees on their dock! I can not express enough how great this place is! Forget paying prime prices for a hotel. This is the place to stay!

Just got back from staying here for three nights and my family had a wonderful time. Room 211 was much more spacious than expected and did well for our party of 5 adults, 3 children (ages 8, 8, 2). Every morning we watched either manatees or dolphins during our breakfast on the community deck next to the pool area. The staff were very nice. Only complaint would be when the young man delivered extra tissue boxes our first night, I mentioned to him that the safe in our room and the light to the fan in the room with the pull out couches never turned on. He said maintenance would come by, but they never did in three days.

We loved our stay at Bay Palms Waterfront resort. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a mistake made with our reservation but they had it fixed immediately. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed using all 3 properties. I loved ecology friendly touches.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Bay Palms. Boat docks were perfect and I love the doggy off leash area. We look forward to seeing you again even though we are locals. The room was spacious, clean, well supplied in the efficiency kitchen. Staff was helpful and friendly. Thanks again for a fun staycation!

Negatives: tiny shower, reception desk off site, poorly climate controlled rooms, mattress felt saggy, tiny pool. Positives: updated rooms, clean, nice view behind the hotel, clean, quiet. Friendly and helpful staff.

This place is so family friendly and the service is second to none. Definitely not commercial you can tell it's family owned. Very nice property all the rooms have been super clean. Not on the beach but didn't have to pay the beach price, went fishing on the bay instead. We can walk across the street for the beach if they want to go. Close to restaurants and gocery stores. Love this place!

Everything at this resort was perfect and way over what we expected. Check in was easy and quick. (If bringing a pet, remember to bring cash for pet deposit. ) My very favorite part was the back out door area of where we stayed! It was nice, private and clean. It is a small area that footage wise matches the amount of rooms at this location. The area had different sitting areas and was all done with cement pavers. No ants! There were 2 docks for hanging out and a cute pool. I would definitely recommend it for groups that may want to grill out and have cocktails together in the evenings. At some places you have to walk a lot just to get to the gathering areas and I really loved how this seemed like more residential feel. I could literally go to my car and back in less than a minute. The outdoor space looked amazing. I brought my Australian Shepard dog and it was perfect for him too! Being more of a private quite location I dint worry that the distraction of lots of noise would cause him to stress and bark. The room was all tile and there was plenty of space for us to put down my dogs bed and dishes. The place had no evidence that the resort has been used for pets as it was over the top clean.

There is no other place like this for me. The cleanliness is above standard for a waterfront resorts, that involves, docks, and fishing. There is no Fishy Smell anywhere! I can't say enough about this, thier cleaning staff wear almost white nurse attire, and the room is inspected by a supervisor before its released. Everything is cleaned write down to the remote control. Why would a Germaphobic like me go any place else. I forgot a few items of clothes today, before I got home they had already called, left message, that since I was returning in 2 weeks, it would be laundered and placed in my new room when I arrive. Got to Love Um!

The associates at check in were friendly and informative. The room was perfect and clean and right on the bay, even had its own personal little deck area. The hotel was located right across the street and less than one block away from the beach access at 44th Ave. The only things that I can make a negative remark on would be the low flow shower head made the shower pressure almost nonexistent and that we had to leave first thing in the morning and the front office does not open until 8. I felt a little uncomfortable leaving my keys and wrist band in the drop box as they charge $20 if you don’t return them and they don’t provide envelopes to provide your name or room number. Other than that, the stay was great!

The service is great! The room was great for the price. I love how you can go to any of the three propertys and use the pools and beach. My only concern is the parking. It is very hard to pull out. Other than that my stay was great and I would definitely recommend it!

Very quiet and peaceful. Lots to do and the staff is very helpful and friendly. They go above and beyond to make sure their guests are happy.

It's nice here. They have happy hour everyday from 4 to 6, beer an wine. The people at the front desk are nice, helpful, the beach is easy to get too. Would come back.

Great small hotel with excellent staff and nice rooms.

Great location on the bayside; loved the dock! Very clean, bathroom tiny, kitchen was excellent and well stocked with dishes pots and pans. Why isn't some kind of cleaning offered daily? Or at least provide a sweeper for the sand and stuff that collects on the floors.

This place is great! Very clean, huge and bright room and price is very reasonable I found this resort last minute, bc it was spontaneous trip and it was surprising that I can have access to other location which is next door right on the beach.

I tried to check in later in the evening, just before 11pm (their check in time ends at 11pm). No one was there and everything was closed up. I called numerous times and no answer. No after hours or emergency phone number was posted. Another guest, who is there frequently, came out to smoke and told me the office usually closes up around 9pm (even though the state they are open until 11pm) and that management doesn't like him telling others where to find them! So he refused to tell me where management was staying. The next day, they refused to provide a refund stating they needed to be told in advance about late check ins… but I was there before they were supposed to close! Due to this, I missed a very important test I was scheduled to take the morning. And the name is misleading… this is not a hotel resort, but rather a motel. I would definitely not recommend this place!

The room is clean, comfortable and stocked well. Mostly quiet area. The marina view was terrific and the pool was clean and somewhat heated. The staff is awesome. Happy hour was a hoot. They have beach access at their sister hotel Plaza Beach. The only thing I didn’t care for was having to go to the Office down the street for coffee, beach towels and other front desk services. Still… very nice. I will be back!
PS: there’s multiple ways to get around the area, there’s a trolley/bus stop right out front and there’s a free ride service as well as taxi and uber.

This place was perfect for my fiance and myself. We loved fishing from the pier out behind the hotel in the bay. The people were friendly and we met some new friends that stay their often. We will come back to stay again. Maybe Next we will catch more fish. Thank you Tammy and Scott.

Just returned from another 3 weeks perfect holiday. As usual, attention to detail is paramount. Clean and well fitted rooms, beautiful setting on intracoastal with 2 large fishing docks and boat moorings. Across road from beach and sister motel (Plaza beach) where there is another pool a computer room/library, Tikki bar and daily happy hour to meet other guests with a free drink. Staff very friendly and Robert (proprietor) regularly checks everything and takes note of any suggestions by the guests.

Nice place to stay in St Pete Beach. Great staff. The accommodations are comfortable.

Room was great, could describe it as a whole apartment. Comfortable and nice. The pool and deck was nice too on the marina side. We hung out by the main pool with the small bar and enjoyed some drinks. I can't comment on kid stuff or other amenities as we did not partake in those. The marina side is nice, but the bugs were bad. People were fishing from the dock. Ice machine was outside our room and we had no view, but it was not really a problem for us.

Nice hotel on st. Pete beach even though it is not directly on the beach it is on the water has a marina so you can store your boat and all the rooms looks very clean and up-to-date and you can order Chick-fil-A for.

Great place to stay very clean organized and has 2 docks to fish off of the back side of the building the only downside I see is the parking lot is small.

Small quite when room is not street facing. Recommend room for kitchenette and room for just a room with microwave, hotplate, and small fridge. Restaurants and beach are walkable distance.

Bay Palms Waterfront Resort was a great stay. My wife and I thought it was very clean and reasonable. BRENNA at the front desk was wonderful (thank you). We plan on returning to St Pete Beach and this is where we're booking to stay.

Really love it we travel a lot and this place is the best ever! the people were every friendly and helpful! the place very nice and clean! I did not want to leave!

This was a very nice place. Had to ask for the floors to be mopped… sand is easily tracked in… the request was honored without going to the office. Our room was down the street from the main checkin and it was on the bay side not the beach side. We stayed 6 nights and would have been more comfortable if there had been a King bed rather than 2 Fulls. Advice: Don't stay in the one bedroon. It was MUCH smaller than a regular hotel room. It is no way a condo unless you count the tiny table and 2 chairs in what was a passageway to the neighboring room. No separate sink and we had to wash the dishes we used for breakfast in the bathroom sink. Publix was only 2 blocks away so easy to get the dish soap.
The bay side had a great view with pool, chairs, umbrellas and a grill. Grill needed replaced. Wouldn't have cooked on it.

I spent a lot of time walking the beaches with a pit stop here and there to relax at one tiki bar or another, but it was a peaceful joy to be able to return — — just across the street — — to the Bay Palms overlooking the Bay waters. The staff, particularly manager, Brenna, are wonderfully hospitable and gracious. And the "finishing touches, " in my apartment and around the grounds, are really thoughtful. Also, my mattress and pillows were of excellent quality. This place is a cozy gem! Room Tip: If you have kids, stay at the related "Plaza Beach across the street and a little north. I live in St Pete, but needed a "quick" mini vacation away from home. Very clean, quite, comfortable, and pet friendly (brought my canine buddy). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will plan to stay again. Thank you for the perfect get away.

Clean hotel room. Comfortable bed. The front desk attendant was very helpful. Checking in was a bit of an inconvenience due to the main office being down the street. Overall a nice experience. I would stay at the Bay Palms Waterfront Resort again if ever came back to St. Pete Beach. Thanks again.

My wife and I recently stayed 2 nights at the Bay Palms. It was a birthday/anniversary trip for us. We are locals and always look forward to spending time on the beautiful nearby beaches and intracoastal! We came by boat (17' Center Console) and spent our days on the water sightseeing, fishing, dining, having a blast! The Bay Palms was our bed at night and pool to relax in after a day on the water. The room was very clean and spacious with everything we needed. We will definitely be returning again! It was a small inconvenience to walk across gulf blvd and down the street a bit to check in and out at another one of the resorts. Also, we paid an additional $25 per night to dock the boat even though we required no electric/water hook up. One last thing, the pool said it was open until sunset, however the gates were latched both evenings before the sun went down. Other than those minor gripes, it was a great stay.

This was a wonderful honeymoon! The staff was excellent! They accomodated us with a bay view. The room was absolutely up to my expectations. When they found out that we were staying there for our honeymoon they sent over a bottle of champagne. The hotel provides complimentary beer and wine daily between 4-5pm. We met the most wonderful people there! Actually ended up booking an additional night because we didn't want to leave. Definitely recommend.

We live in Mississippi and we believe that the most beautiful beaches in the U. S. Are on the Gulf of Mexico beginning around Ft Walton Beach, Florida, continue around the panhandle and down through the tip of Florida. We would normally visit the beaches in the panhandle because they are closer to home, but in 2010, the year of our 25th wedding anniversary, the Gulf Oil Spill occurred in this area. We just could not trust that this would be the best place to spend our special anniversary. I found Plaza Beach Resorts on the internet that year and we have been back every year (5 years) at the same time (late May) since and plan to continue this tradition in the future. At this time of year, the water is about 4-5 degrees warmer than in the Florida panhandle and the weather at St. Pete Beach is always perfect. We have only seen rain one time (and only an afternoon shower) during our 5 one-week visits! The beaches are clean and well-kept. We have never seen sea weed, jelly fish or anything else that would keep us from getting in the water. At the time of our visits it is stingray season, but we have never had any issue with them. On our first visit we stayed beach-side at the Plaza Beach Hotel and loved it! Each of the following years we stayed at either Bay Palms or Bayview that are just across the street on the bay. The rooms are always clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. The owners and management seem to be great people and are always there to help out.

The best place to stay on St. Pete Beach! Clean, Cozy, unique, not your average run of the mill hotel. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and you cannot go wrong staying here. It is close to everything on the beach, and whether you are staying on beach side or bay side, the views are great. They have exceeded my expectations every time.

We had a wonderful time at your resort. The beach resort was excellent, we enjoyed staying at the Bay Palms. After a long day at the beach, we enjoyed going back to Bay Palms, where my grandchildren first learned to fish. They were so proud. We loved it and would love to come back.
