The beach is awesome And the pool is really nice The flippers restaurant has awesome food And there’s a great sun set.

Clean, big room. Very quiet. Rooms and hallway smelled clean. Hotel Beach Bar had the best food and drinks. Pool clean and large. Will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful views of the Gulf, great beach, nice spacious rooms with little balconies, pool area with tiki bar, professional and friendly staff, walking distance to good restaurants. (Try Buona Ristorante and the Drunken Clam. )

My favorite place in Florida to hang out, great service and customer service, bartender Megan was a class act, I didn’t catch an older bartenders name but he was great too, prices aren’t bad and the food is good too.

It’s a good ambiance staying in this hotel specially if you’re on a beach view, except for paying $30 a day at the parking.

I was visiting the hotel with a friend for 3 days and housekeeping never came to dump trash vacuum or leave clean towels. The beds were never made! Rather gross considering how much money we spent. We won’t stay again.

Rooms like everyone says are outdated but they were comfortable. Dont think you should be charged extra for parking at a hotel your staying at and already putting money into… loved the beach bar. Had great drinks and food. Mainly just loved how it was right on the beach. Everyone was nice and helpful minus the lady running the resturant. Over all a nice place to stay.

Old and outdated. Rooms poorly furnished. No food on premises before 11 am. Pool and beach area very nice.

Roaches in the room, no carts to bring luggage to the Rooms for hours, office staff was just talking not helping, we had to help the elderly couple take their baggage upstairs as we also took multiple trips for our own baggage. Blonde lady in the front with lash extensions was rude and should not even be on customer service. Suite 222 has two lamps that do not function or turn on. Roaches in the room as well. I have never experienced a bad hotel till now. ZERO out of 10 so not recommend at all willl not be back.

We stay here every year. It’s across the street from the grocery store, has an awesome pool, beautiful beach and within walking distance to many places. The staff is polite and accommodating.

For the price, I was expecting a CLEAN hotel and friendly staff. Carpet/floors were disgusting, very dated rooms, no place to park. $300 a night is outrageous for a “motel 6” hotel at best. I would hardly call this place a “resort”.

Our family has visited the Dolphin Beach Resort several times. We enjoy the low key atmosphere. They have great food, great service and the access to the beach is amazing! We can't wait for our next trip!

This is a terrific resort for families and solo visits! Friendly staff at the check in and throughout the hotel. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Always a positive experience when visiting.

We have been blessed to have stayed at Dolphin Beach 6 times Love it here. Great pool, bar, and room. They did upgrade the rooms a few years ago and that made the stay even nicer. You bet we will be back again and again. Nancy and Rita you are the best, thank you.

Not the nicest of front desk staff at check in. Had to wait for almost 2 hours to check in b/c the room
Wasn’t ready. Not ok. No apologies, nothing. Housekeeping employee was picking a fight with the staff right in front of several people also waiting for their rooms. Spoke with manager who was no help at all. At the least, an apology would have gone a really long way. Loud housekeeping staff in the am too.

Great place to spend Thanksgiving with family & food is always excellent!

Not a bad place, but everywhere in hotel is very dated. Rooms are spacious but very basic. No doubt the best thing about this place is the beach view rooms. We had ground floor, opened our door & we were right on the beach. Beautiful view of sunset over the ocean.

Mold in room, nasty workers, spent a ton of money at this place and they still charged me to park. Went there to get married came home sick with mold induced pneumonia. Betsy in off is nasty and thinks she is better then everyone.

This really is the best place in St Pete for an affordable, clean and beautiful vacay! We have stayed here every year when we go to St Pete Beach in July. The ladies in the restaurant are super sweet and helpful too!

This is the best hotel for sunsets and chilling. It's affordable and laid back. We love getting the beach front rooms. It's an older hotel and in a bit of need of TLC but we don't mind. It doesn't smell and it is clean! The photo is our view from first floor beach front.

Our view was amazing, the room was very nice including the bathroom accept for a fairly large Crack on a wall. The sound though is horrible. You can every door open and close upstairs amd next door. You can hear people walking. It's unreal. Neither of my kids slept well due to sounds. The gentlemen who checked me in could definitely been much nicer. He was short and seemed bothered by me checking in. The one vehicle per room is ridiculous especially since we pay extra for it. Even if you get a bigger room it's only one car. Edit: the room had bugs including German roaches. The gentlemen up front did offer a very small refund however it definitely wasn't worth the time and effort I had to put in going through all of our things when getting home to be careful not to bring them into our house. It would not be a place we spend with our kids again.

What a great place. Price are decent considering it is in front of the water. Perfect for a weekend get away. In that same road, night life is pretty good. There is a couple of bar and places to have a good time. My room was pretty clean and staff was friendly. Parking it not a issue like in other place around the area.

Hotel: The rooms are nice and mostly clean. I found some stains on the fresh towels but other than that it was nice. The restaurant had great food for a very good price. Chairs at the beach cost extra and aren't included with the room which is expected. Sadly you can only keep the chairs until 5pm.

We checked in Friday and left on Sunday. Everything was a little dated but still decent. Great pool area and beach access. Our air conditioner was broken on Saturday and we were pleased the by the assistance of the staff who got us a new room & helped us get to our new room. Besides the slight inconvenience I would say we had a pleasant stay. I would recommend to those who are looking for the out door experience and just using the room to sleep.

Went in with not the best expectations but it was actually amazing. Staff was great place was very clean and location couldn't have been better. Right across the street from stores to get all the amenities you will need. Beach was clean. If you decide to stay here the beds are full size bed so they are a little tight to sleep 2 in. Other than that great job Dolphin Beach.

Excellent place to stay. It's right across the street from a grocery store and a drugstore and basically you can take the City Trolley everywhere you need to go from here. Pool area is great too. Beach backyard, nice bar area (drinks are pricey though! ), restaurant is tasty, great service and great prices! (Hi Jimmy! ) Only had one rude front desk person and I have his name We come every year but this is the first year we stayed at this Resort and we definitely will be coming back.

We love the location everything across 5 the hotel, grocery stores, restaurants, gas station, small plaza, very friendly staff, nice and big room, the view from our room to the pool view and ocean view we loved very cleand, nice for fam vacation o for couples vacation like we have.

I wish I had listened to the reviews I read on FB and on Trip Advisor. Many of them talk about the staff treating the guests so poorly. This couldn’t be more true. We are here for the weekend. Leaving tomorrow. We actually had a house keeper tell a 7 year old in our party to get out of her way. When we told her it was inappropriate, she just let waking. Unbelievable. We also had a restaurant staff get onto us for eating our own food in an “inappropriate” area. We didn’t know we were not supposed to eat our own food in this area and had she explained this in a professional manner and tone, it would have been well understood. This woman acted like we had broken the law, almost yelling at us, for sitting under a covered patio eating out of the rain. No one smiles or even speaks to you. All of the staff act completely mad at the world. This speaks very poorly of the management at this hotel. When many of your reviews talk about how rude and unprofessional your staff are and you obviously don’t do anything to take care of the problem… you are the problem. I went down to the front desk yesterday to complain. The front desk staff told me he would let the manager know as he would be in today. It is evident that my complaints were of no concern as the manager did not attempt to reach out to me today. We check out tomorrow and will never be back.

If I could I would give this place less than one star I would. We just got here today and the front desk service is beyond lazy. Our tub is leaking, the electrical box is hanging off the wall, we asked for extra pillows and blankets and we were told we had to go to the front desk to get them. We asked how much it would be to up grade to a room with a ocean view and one person said 60.00 and another said 80.00 per night. The location is great but the service and the front desk need a major adjustment.

This place is definitely not a Resort. The hallways and the rooms smells like a cheap motel. The windows were so dirty and filthy. If you need beach towels you have to walk all the way to the front desk to get one and they have nasty yellow stains on it. Thank God we only stayed here a night but we paid $195 and it's definitely NOT worth it!

So far it's been excellent. Nice room. Staff has been congenial. The hidden treasure was the Boca Sands Grill. Great staff!

They don't have almost king beds and they didn't offer us anything for our honeymoon.

The place is nice. The rooms are good. The staff is by no means friendly at all. Nobody smiles. The staff all seem miserable. The front desk staff aren’t friendly at all. I asked the front desk guy if he was having a bad day because he looked under the weather. I chocked it up with “we are here now so it’s a good day”. No smile or anything. The restaurant staff were no different.
The food wasn’t to my friends liking and said it wasn’t what she expected and asked for something else. They brought it and took her plate. She said she was going to finish her eggs and the server told her “they were taking it off the bill and had to bring it back to show the manager”. My friend wasn’t happy with that and didn’t ask to have it removed from the bill, just to get something else.
Everyone is so miserable here. Come on people. Your at the beach.

The location is great! It’s right on the beach with a great view from the pool! The food is great at the restaurants and very reasonably priced. My reason for a 3 is the staff is not very friendly and we always seemed to have a problem with our room keys. We had many family members staying in several different rooms and all experienced issues where key cards kept deactivating daily.

We've stayed here twice… First time was for a week 2 years ago with one of the rooms with balcony. It was fine and we had a good time. But this time was different. First thing we found out was we had to pay $56 to park for 5 nights… Even though we had no idea we had to pay for parking when we booked. And we paid over $1000 to stay here. Second thing, our room this time around didn't have a balcony or any windows that opened… The whole room felt very dank and humid even with the AC running… You'd take a shower and it would make things awful. No bathroom vent either. The tile floors needed to be mopped with a towel. My wife was sneezing the whole time we were in the room. And the AC was pretty noisy making high pitched squeaking sound every once in awhile. The staff was ok… Nothing special. We won't be staying here again.

We had a room with a pool view and had a gorgeous view of the ocean as well. The rooms were very clean and up to date. The staff was excellent. The restaurant inside the hotel was awesome. We will definitely stay at this hotel every time we come to St. Pete's.

I worked here for awhile. Staff are expected to attend meetings on their days off and go above and beyond to accommodate… For 9.25 per hour. I found a full and part time, the full time paying 12.50, the part time 11. I can meet the amount of the paychecks given at the dolphin with a few hours at my part time, which to me, seems ridiculous. The owner is cheap, doesn’t take care of employees, and jacks prices up where he can. The rooms are dumpy, the laundry room is consistently out of order, and there are no extended stay rates. My advice? The Sirata down the street seems pretty nice.

Unfortunately this hotel management has no idea what hospitality means. They are rude, they are ignorant. They didn't have enough housekeeping personnel so many guests could not check until 6-7 pm. I had to argue so that they gave us a room after 5:30 pm. They wouldn't provide towels unless you go to the reception and get them. The rooms and towels are filthy. It's sad that you take a long flight and come all the way to this city so you can have some relaxing family time. Not to mention all the expenses that you had made for two three nights vacation. I would not recommend this place to families. I am sure there are other reasonable places with a good service in the area.

The pool is very nice and large with two waterfalls. Security is a bit bossy, it seemed every time we went to the pool they questioned us and the children. You have to ask about the rooms as there are several two bedrooms that are tiny. Nice large parking lot easily accommodates guest and visitors.

Stay here every year! LOVE this place! Great for family. We have a big group that comes during Spring Break and have for the past three years. Will be back again next year!

Publix is the reason why I was there. If you're visiting Florida and need to grocery shop Publix is the best grocery store to do it at. All the rest can't compare.

Overall a nice place to stay. I wish the rooms were furnished with queen/king beds… only full size available.

In general we had a very good experience here as a family. The rooms were surprisingly big and well equipped. And the cleanliness was very good. The front desk could greet new guests a bit more welcoming, but they did their job. Room maintenance came very late (too late) in the evening to our room, when we were already back from the beach. The location is great, you walk right from the hotel on the beach. The pool area is nice, too. The affordable price sums this beach resort up as a good stay, if you want to spend some time at the beach.

Relation price quality… you have the possibility of keeping your stay.

It's on the gulf of Mexico. It could be a dump and it would still be great. However, clean rooms, great staff and eat in the restaurant. The food was excellent.

A star for the location and the heated pool. The rest a single thing.
The reception staff completely disinterested and arrogant. Our first room stank and the windows could not be opened. After discussions we could change the room on the 3rd day, there was the heating (yes, also in Florida it can become very cold in January). After enduring requests from the fully phlegmatic receptionist, we were given a room with a functioning heating system, but right next to the generator, so that it was not livable due to the volume. The curtains moulded to themselves, the carpets not sucked, the white towels full of signs of use.
We were ignored at the beautiful Beachbar. The worst hotel in this category (beach Resort) I know — and I know a lot in Florida. Unfortunately we had booked a package for 10 days. To experience at least 3 days of holiday feeling, we splurged a timeout in a Best Western:-).
Even if you are offered this hotel at a bargain price, I can only warn against it!

I would not actually give a star…
The first room, the window does not open and the floor dirty.
The second room, 2 days completely ok even with balcony, but then the heating is broken on the only cold day of the year…
At the reception we want to get a new room of course one but again without a window… the second new room was on another floor, although we knew exactly the rooms are free since the whole parking lot was empty.
Then we get a room right next to a generator, so we'd rather sleep in the cold.
So much to the rooms…
I do not want to talk about the staff at all, because there is nothing to say except absolutely bad, overwhelmed, unfriendly location is great and therefore also a star.
It is also dirty… everywhere.

Amazing hotel. Inexpensive beach front. Front desk personnel were nice. Rooms very clean considering people come right from a sandy beach.

Great service, dated… well, everything else. We stayed on the third floor, and upon stepping out of the elevator, we felt as if we walked into an episode of Doctor Who. Later on our daughter came with us, and the lights in the elevator started flickering… It really added to the feel. They should either update, or rent out the space for film sets.

Very nice hotel. It is not luxurious but it perfectly meets the basics. Location If you go to a room that to the beach will be delighted.

I was expecting nice, but not this awesomeness. From the minute we walked in, Jimmy greeted us, and answered all our questions about the resort, and our best seafood dinner was a place he recommended Our room (212) had a really nice view, and was super clean. The restaurant served a hearty breakfast at a very reasonable price. The burgers at lunch were tasty. Thank you Marcy for the wonderful service. The Knock-out punch is the beach! wide and expansive, beautiful fine sand, and great to swim I love nice beaches, and this was fabulous. The pool was also very good, with plenty of loungers and shade. Overall, this is the only place I will stay in the area. Worth every dollar.

Right on the beach! A much better value than the Marriott we stayed at further north. After not liking that place the first night (loud, dated, not a great value for what was paid, ) we chose Dolphin Beach Resort and have been very happy the two nights we have stayed so far. Clean, hot shower. Useful mini fridge for things bought across the street at Publix. Was able to check in a few hours early because they had the room ready. A bit more noise than I would like from the pool, but we're ground floor, pool-facing so that's expected (so far the noise hasn't gone too late. )

Not quite new but well-preserved hotel right on St Pete Beach. Pool is unfortunately closed after dusk and windows cannot be opened, otherwise everything is top.

Great location, nice staff and beautiful updated rooms. Only negative is I would have loved to know that the beach is under construction during out stay… pretty expensive for limited beach access. All in all, great ace with a great ownership team, would stay again.

My friend and I stayed here for a long weekend. We had a wonderful time. The hotel is clean and provides all basic needs. The beach access is excellent, and the rental price for the beach chairs was very good too. The only minor suggestions I would have would be to improve the outside beach bar, and to improve the front desk service. The outside beach bar had small drinks that were overpriced and contained little liquor. The front desk people were nice and accomodating, but they have a policy of not bringing extra towels to the rooms. Also, it took us awhile to get our room when we first arrived. These were very minor issues, and we very much enjoyed our stay. We would absolutely stay here again.

Very nice people, beautiful pool, well kept grounds, perfect beach location. Good restaurant & beach bar on site. No reason to leave for days! Only downside: the AC in rooms is so loud that you have to turn your TV volume up to 30 in order to hear what you're watching. Now imagine all rooms doing that.

Location was EVERYTHING! The entire hotel was clean. The bed was super soft and comfortable. I paid for a balcony upgrade which was totally worth it! The live entertainment was awesome! I will definitely come back!

Came here for a weekend with family. We got amazing service and the staff in the hotel and the bar were great! The location is an ideal spot too. Very close to the beach and the best part is you can see dolphins jumping and swimming in the water! Rita at the front desk was especially nice, we needed a little extra time to get up in the morning and she was very understanding. Overall we will return for a future visit.

Dolphin Beach resort is one of the best I've ever visited. It may look quaint from the outside but in the inside it is bet modern and upscale with very vibrant Florida colors. The staff is wonderful and efficient. The restaurant serves a variety of food from lobster to pizza, and it is all delicious. The pool is fairly large, heated, and kept very clean. There is an outside bar that plays amazing music and serves great drinks. You can walk right onto the white sandy beach that stretches for miles. You can travel a little farther and get to the ocean where cabanas are available for resort members. Overall the Dolphin Beach resort is amazing for a family vacation or just a mommy daddy vacation.

Great location on the beach side of the road. Busy fun outside bar on the beach, live music, fantastic beach. The bad is you can hear people walking in room above or talking outside. Bring you own pillow theirs were petty bad. It is an older place, updated but if they can sounproif the rooms better, I would go to 5 stars because this is the kind of place I like. Not overpriced, pretentiousness. Pool is really nice too. Price is reasonable for on the beach and nice beach bars and restaurants all along one of the best beaches in FL.

We loved the Resort it was great. The pool was nice and it was cleaned every morning. Our view was magnificent poolside and ocean view…! The observation deck on the top of the bar just took us to another level. Front row seating of the sun setting We shall return.

Over all not a terrible place. We got a decent room with everything cleaned and nice. The front desk was good at check in. The only issue is some guests were smoking weed and it could be smelled throughout the entire hotel. It was reported and security was sent but it happened 3 times and I felt that was something that shouldn't have even happened 3 times.

We have stayed at this resort before and always have a good time because of the beach and restaurant experience. I will say that Randy at the front desk is very stiff and does not seem to concerned with customer service. We also requested an extra parking space since we live locally and my Husband would need to go into work one day and I would need to pick up my daughter. Instead of working with us he immediately referred us to the public parking next door which was $25/day. This added almost $100 to our total stay. I would have been more understanding but they were not completely booked as he stated. Our friend was able to book a room the day of and there were always open parking spaces. Otherwise the resort is decent place to stay if you want to be in the popular area.

Stayed here last week with my wife. If "you're not the jet set, but the old Chevrolet set", this place is for you. Nit pick if you like, but from booking to customer service, we were most happy. Older, yes. But if you want a more upscale, 5 star resort, move on. Family friendly, well maintained, and friendly staff. Negatives… low water pressure. That's about it. Comfortable beds, amazing pillows… I will be buying some for our bed at home. Our room was freshly painted, caulking around tub enclosure was fresh and clean. Family friendly and a cosmopolitan crowd of, I'd say, regular folks. Only four stars because if you want luxury and opulence, several others on this beach cost are superior. But at less than half the room rates of many on the beach, I would stat here again.

Understaffed; 5:10 check-in! After a long day of travel, we realized the hotel had a 4:00 check-in time. We thought for sure our room would be ready then, given they had 5 hours between those who checked out and those who were checking in, but not so. They gave us a pager and promised to page soon, but 4:30 came and went and 5:00 came and went. We finally checked in again, and they handed us the key with not a word of apology. Any other late check-in we've experienced has been accompanied by an offer to go have a drink (on the hotel) and an apology for the delay. The hotel had an outdoor patio, and after a storm came through, the tables stayed wet and customers had to bus and dry off their own tables. After talking to the manager, she explained it is their policy to start check-in at 4:00, but there are no guarantees that the rooms will be ready by then. For the price, I would steer clear of this hotel and look for one that has enough staff to turn over the rooms in time, clean tables, etc.

Class B resort. Some real characters at the bar. Nice pillows and bibles in the drawer for prayer time. 2 ply toilet paper and Dasani water in the fridge. Only downside is the water pressure. Fat ladies blow in my ear harder than the water hits my head. Other than that, has potential and room to fill out. Named to top prospect list. Outstanding student.

We went to the bar. The drinks were well made, but a little pricey. Ordered the fried sea food appetizer, which was tasty. The bar had live music and a pretty vista of the ocean.

Superb hotel and experience. I stayed here in June 2015 and for the time of year the price was quite cheap considering I was just meters away from the beach. The hotel room was very comfortable, the pool was cleaned every day and the little bar by the pool was perfect. The hotel food was nothing special I chose to eat I chose to eat elsewhere. Overall I was very happy with my choice of hotel and area.

BRENDA should not be in this line of work. Would give this 0 if I could. It is very sad because I am actually very interested in booking here for multiple rooms and because of this employee I will not only not be booking here but I was so shocked by the rude manor I was spoken to that I felt I had to write this review. I was looking for a location for my family to stay for my wedding including my fiance and myself. I am in customer service and understand not having the time to dedicate to phone calls especially with the season and weather but YOU NEVER let out frustration with a client which is what brenda did twice. Because there was enough availability for my dates and I was finally able to get brenda to not hang up on me (cause thats what it felt like she was going to do any moment) I decided to continue to look for further information. With my dates being in April which is a very high season I wanted to book the dates asap so I called back to do so. When calling back a second time I told her who I was and that I was ready to try and book but I could sense there was something so I asked her if this was a bad time and she literally told me the best time to call back would be maybe sunday… but would not help me now. I dont want to go into further detail or I could add another paragraph… very unfortunate I wish this wouldve worked out.

The hotel is definitely not a resort. We traveled with a tour company the first week of Nov. And even our tour guide and a few other people had to upgrade their rooms. The hotel is very old and outdated. They even charge for local calls. Would never stay at this hotel again! Our view was a parking lot!

Great set up with pool and tiki bars leading to the beach, very nice staff, I was with a group that has their annual event there. The room looked ok but the air quality was horrible. I had such a reaction I couldn't sleep there. Later I learned several other guests in our group had lung or other ailments after staying there for several days in previous years. Also my bed clearly hadn't been changed since the previous guest, it was like sleeping in a sandbox. Floor around bathroom wasn't the cleanest but not quite scary. If they'd address the air quality, maybe it's mold, dunno, and make sure housekeeping does their job it could be quite decent because the set-up is golden.

We visited from July 16th to the 23rd 2015. Me and my family loved it. We had a room on the beach. Matter of fact the staff up front was nice. They had accidentally give us a single room and was more than happy to correct this. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I believe that these bad reviews on here are people affiliated with other hotels somehow cause we were skeptical about staying due to reviews but due to booking late it was only one available on beach. Once we got checked in and got to our right room I was pleasantly surprised. We stayed 6 days and sure didn't want to leave. You have to try the fresh strawberry daiquiri at the tiki bar also the blackened fish tacos… AWESOMENESS! We will return!

Rude staff at desk, filthy room even old coffee in coffee. Pot and dirt in tub! Was over charged three nights! Still fighting for money back! Lousy staff, the rooms. Stunk, air didn't work well, a an vomited in pool and it was not cleaned, people swam that evening! Bar staff saw it happen. Im. Still being told by managers days later that im. Not getting overdraft fees paid fromm their mistakes I found this place horrible. The marijuana scent on first floor all day every day was enough to get you high walking the halls! My children were getting sick from. The smell. We complained however were not helped. We had four rooms! $$$$$ but will never recommend to friends or family visiting nor will we go back! The manager should be ashamed of herself. They STOLE my money and refuse to pay the overdraft fees due to their mistakes! I am. Livid! reporting on better business Bureau, and my local news station with my story.

Not sure why the bad reviews, we loved this place! Our room was clean and comfy. The pool is positioned perfect in this place and there was music too.

We showed up at 5 PM to find out our room was not ready (check-in is at 4:00 PM). We were soaking wet from a rain storm, and we desperately needed a room. Brenda, the front desk attendant, had a foul attitude and generally was unpleasant. When we got our room an hour later it was questionably clean. The room smelled like it had been raining inside and a car wash air freshener had been blasted in the room. We just ended up leaving because the experience was so poor. People were smoking everywhere, and the cleaning staff had no idea what was happening. Don't book reservations if you can't have them ready at the correct time! Terrible experience.

Check in was easy let us check in early. Small rooms. Ants in room. Dinner was horrible food so so and server never came back to check on us. We had to get another server to help us. Pool bar nice where you can see ocean. Bartender was great. Food served outside in plastic covered containers. Parking not a problem.

Dolphin Beach Resort is adjacent to public beach. Some people setup chairs and a popup umbrella apparently a few yards on the "resort" side of beach. Resort setup their big blue umbrellas at an angle to block their view and called police. Beach wasn't very busy and we didn't even notice the group until management made a scene. Police did not make them leave. Classy. Won't be back.

Front desk staff was not friendly. When I showed up to check in, I was told only one car was alowed to park in the lot. The other one would have to be parked 2 blocks down the street for $10. When I asked why I wasnt informed of this, another woman, gloria, piped up and rudely said, " it's in the fine print mamn". Well, no where in the fine print did it say that. However it did say, free parking. Being that they are the first ppl you see when you check in, I was not impressed and probably won't be back. Rooms are ok. A little mold over the door, so I don't think it was worth the $259 a night we paid.

I would never stay at this hotel again. Our room had dirty towels from previous people in it when we checked in. They did not bring us soap for the room. It smells like mold. And we heard the people in the next room party loudly till 4:00 am. Moreover they KICKED us out of our paid for beach chairs so they could pack up for the day at 5:00. If you plan on going to the beach bring your own towels because the hotel will not let you take their towels to the beach. Go to another hotel or be prepared for a 0 star visit.

A nice Hotel, family friendly Hotel, right on the beach. Heated Pool, rooms are big and clean. Ideal for a few fantastic days at the sea. Compared to shopping, with everything you need. Beach Bar has delicious food and a great view of the sea. If live music, then in very moderate volume.

Staff seem nice and eger to please. Rooms clean. And safe.

Who would like to relax is very right in here. The rooms are very large with double beds / two piece. We had direct beach location for stairs, three steps down and is on the best beach.
The hotel is getting though in the years, but it was cleaned every day and were very nice and very helpful.
As you wich was had you only a microwave but you can do much with it. Shopping just across the street You have the whole day over hot dishes. Taste good and the prices are OK.
Otherwise everything is well achieved cash if it is well to foot. The trolly bus costs on day 4, you can $50 out there and here to continue throughout the day and also between through alight and then without further ADO that runs fortrtsetzen.
Here you can rent a car also is cheaper than in Germany.
We have here in the street At hertz car rented for a great price, so ask and trade prices.
The hotel has no bar music has animations only at the weekend and it is what is going on.
We were satisfied exactly what we wanted.

Wedding Saturday July 12. Stayed Friday night and Saturday Night. Room facing Gulf Beach suburb with balcony, south bldg 2nd floor. Clean. Other guests complained in north bldg their rooms smelled on second floor. Front desk unorganized, rude. Messed up my reservation, almost didn't get to stay as they over book, it would seem. No apologies there. Not enough parking. Parking too tight for large vehicles and trucks. Suggest they remove landscape for more parking. Nightmare. Guarded however with security. Children running around unsupervised in hallways. Publix public parking lot across the street has signs hidden posted, and security watching every minute. No Parking signs small and hidden behind trees and landscape. Suggest they remove landscape put in more parking. But parking was not allowed unless one shopped. They will tow your vehicle. Many were being towed as I shopped from store to store. Which doesn't make sense. No room there either. Private tow company. I was aware of limited parking at Hotel but unaware of the towing out of a publix public parking lot. Public access Beach Parking lot too small also. Overflow to Publix parking same. Best to rent a home their and stay an entire week for the money spent.

I planned my 2014 Family Reunion with the Dolphin Beach Resort back in 2013. When my family members checked into the resort, rooms were not blocked together as planned when they were booked together a year in advance. Room were booked for the Beach Front where you would walk right out your room onto the beach. As guest, we did not get the rooms that we booked in a year advance. We also experience roaches in the rooms. When I checked out, I mention this to the clerk Larry which I got no response from. Would not recommend this resort to anyone.

April 2013. Stayed here for the night. We were in a room that you could just walk out onto the beach. It was beautiful, freshly painted, and clean. Very nice sized room and comfortable. We didn't eat here, but both inside bar and tiki bar were very nice. Tiki bar closed down at nine (which was good because our room was adjacent), but the inside bar was lively for quite a while beyond that. We arrived a little too late to use the pool, and it closed at dusk (the only downfall), but it was nicely heated and fairly large. Closing at dusk made sense to accommodate all the rooms surrounding/noise. Considering the prices of other hotels in the area, this one was good bang for your buck. We would definitely return.

Nice hotel, but some of staff not helpful nor compentent. Almost didn't get in our room the first night, after driving on the highway for hours because front counter couldn't understand; friend of mine booked two separate rooms. Second room assigned to me. Very confused lady, asked me for my name several times. Gave her my Id still couldn't get my right. Had other issues overall experience was good. Ps. Don't get sick during the night after hours. Will not get clean sheets until housekeeping arrives in the morning. Front desk will not assist, unless you are buying another room. Smh.

My company, Rent-All City, works with the Dolphin Beach Resort. We supply them with wedding rentals such as tents, stages, dance floors, chairs, tables, linen, china, and other items. They are very professional in their operations, and are a pleasure to work with. I have personally stayed at the resort before, and it has a beautiful pool and bar that bump right up on the sand with an incredible view of the Gulf of Mexico. I would 100% recommend staying there if you are looking for a nice 'get-away'. 5 stars.

After a trip to Nevada we have chosen this hotel this year again for two weeks in Florida. Our "complaints" from the previous year with regard to the shade in the pool area were groundless, the mushroom roofs are renewed. With six people, including two children, we had no reason whatsoever to the bleating. German is therefore only a 7 at the service not spoken at the front desk always. But that's stopping also us not, to appear may be there again next year.
