Unfortunately I can't give this particular location a 5 star as much as I would love to based upon how great the manager was. Had two separate rooms and both had roaches in them. It took far too long (5-6 days) for anyone to contact me regarding the matter. Now I will say that upon my arrival at the hotel the manager had amazing customer service and took really great care of me and my family. If it weren't for the bug issue I would definitely have given a 5 star just based upon my interaction with her (Sarah).

Easy reservation process. Easy check-in although my digital key didnt work and I had to stop at the desk… agent was fast and efficient. Room was clean, van driver was was nice and although I didn't use it he welcomed me and wished me a good night. Guest of the day program was a nice touch. Great job everyone!

Excellent hotel! I stay here every time I come to this area, which is at least once a month. Easy quick access to the airport and a multitude of other amenities, shopping, dining and medical services. Very helpful staff — professional, intelligent and well groomed. Wonderful breakfast — — buffet, which I always get, OR made fresh to order. Brand new shopping and dining going up, oveir half completed. There are several choices right here, but I always end up coming back to Hilton Garden Inn because it's the best value/price. Could use a little updating in the rooms, but always clean with lots of special extras.

Wonderful place to stay, near to everything. Front desk clerk was very helpful and allowed us to use her personal phone to call and find out information that had nothing to do with the hotel it was for our personal use and we we're very grateful for that. Praise God for working through people who allow themselves to be used without reward. Shuttle very convenient and works at a particular time schedule.

Very nice place to stay. Big sign hidden by trees but not difficult to find. Easy check in with reservations. Rooms are nicely appointed, clean, quiet, comfortable. We used the pool area, was quiet and comfortable we we were there. Bar, restaurant all in one area, small but nice. Saw a work out room and a small business center. Accommodations can be made for shuttles to airport and cruise ships. Also for cruise parking.

Wow:what a busy hotel this is. A constant flow of cruise ships passengers passes through the hotel every day. Saturday and Sunday are frenetic. Luggage can be stored in a large meeting room. Guest rooms are spacious and well maintained. The hotel has a small restautant and bar. Breakfast is very good value. There is a shuttle to the airport and cruise port, also to local restaurants. There aren't many shopping areas in the vicinity, apart from Oakwood plaza across the street. There is lot of traffic in and around the ports; give yourself plenty of time for hold ups, which are frequent.

Nice rooms. Restaurant in lobby. No free breakfast. Fast food restaurants are quick walk away. Hotel offers a shuttle to cruise port for $10 per person but it gets very full and taking an Uber is about the same cost or cheaper if there are two or more in your group.

Rooms are nice and very friendly staff. I want to give a shoutout to the waitress and guy operating shuttle on Thursday. They were great with us and other customers as well.

Very clean. Nice shower. Nice view of the pool in certain rooms. Hot tub. Easy to check in and out. Room did smell slightly of smoke.

This location was convenient with respect to the location. I can’t give it 5 stars as the surrounding construction was a pain. The rooms were clean and plenty of towels. The staff was friendly and over all I enjoyed my stay.

Disappointed in this hotel. The water in our bathroom was green and the 'chief engineer' came up to our room and said he would be right back to fix it (he never came back). The housekeeping staff did not knock and just walked right in while we were in the room. The hot tub water was also green and thus it was closed. The elevator was also extremely jumpy. The only positive thing about this hotel is the free airport shuttle. UPDATE: The manager personally apologized to us and gave us bonus points as a apology gift. He agreed that it was not acceptable.

The Hotel was clean and attractive. Staff was courteous. The Hotel restaurant offered tasty and affordable breakfast and lunch meals.

Stayed here the night before taking a cruise. They offer transfers to the ships. Decent rooms and a delicious buffet breakfast. Some of the staff were a bit aloof, but mostly very friendly.

We were headed on a cruise and they have a bus that takes you to the port. You can get to the port but they will also hard sell you on buying tickets to come back from the port to the airport when your cruise is done. They LIE! We had an early flight and they promised me that a bus would be waiting for me. I called twice it wasn't after buying 2 20$ tickets. I had to get a cab, which by the way was only 18 bucks. They promised me a refund and lied again. This is obviously a Hilton approved vendor. "Ft. Lauderdale Shuttles" Do not believe a word they say. I have called Hilton and they don't seem to care that they have a con operation going taking people to and from the port. Use Uber or a cab. Cheaper, faster and reliable.

Very quiet and nice, super clean and the staff is excellent.

Nice location for flying out of FLL or if you're taking a cruise. The food at the restaurant is really good for hotel food and there are other options close by as well. There is a ton of construction going on next door at the moment but when that's done this could be a five start review.

Great customer service, but the hotel is a little older. We just stayed overnight before our cruise. Our room was clean and everything was well stocked. Check in and out was easy. My only complaint is that when we got to the hotel there was very little room to park at the reception area. The hotel busses clogged the front of the hotel's entrance.

I was attending a business meeting which was being held at this hotel. When we arrived there were a very large number of tourists gathered outside and in the lobby. It was actually difficult to walk through the lobby sure to the crowds. The meeting room was good, and the staff were very helpful and professional. A good visit, and it was very impressive that the staff could be that helpful and patient while clearly being so busy with the crowds.

8 minutes to get raw eggs. We were the only order in. Over easy means over. They were not turned. Like as in over in the over easy part. Just half raw with crispy edges. Takes some skill to cook an egg that poorly. The bowls at the fruit bar were dirty. About 5 sitting to the side and then two more that I grabbed had food on and in them. Ice machine broken.

Nice hotel, close to the airport and cruise port. Everything is clean but starting to look a little worn out. Not terribly worn though. Lots of fast food close by and a liquore store!

Very cozy and quiet if you want. Peace a good place.

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel many times before we board our cruises. The staff is friendly, helpful and always smiling. The rooms are spacious and clean. The FULL breakfast is perfect. I highly recommend the HGI Airport-Cruise Port!

Excellent customer service here. The entire staff was great. This is a newly remodeled HGI that was a Hyatt hotel before I believe. Great location for the airport and cruise port. All the expected amenities are here.

This is probably my favorite place to stay before going on a cruise. They offer Park-and-Cruise deals that offer a shuttle to, and from Port Everglades. You can leave your vehicle here in their parking lot, and that is included in the deal price. The lobby is clean and welcoming. The staff has always been very polite, and fun loving. Any issues that we have had (There was only one minor issue) was resolved quickly and professionally. The food at the restaurant is quite good for dinner. The breakfast buffet is small, but not lacking for anything. It is always an enjoyable meal. Have stayed here multiple times, and will continue to do so for future cruise vacations out of Ft Lauderdale.

Can't sleep! Went to bed at 10 to try and get rest. Got woken up by lots of commotion from the room above from 11 to 1130. Because I got an hour rest before now I'm really not tired. Air conditioner making a humming noise. I'm not tired at all anymore to try and sleep again… my flight is at 6 so I have to be at the airport at 4. This is going to be a fun flight. I hope nobody pisses me off, I don't think I'll have the patience for it. My trip was awesome, but this one night at the Hilton hotel shadows over it with a dark cloud. This is what $169 a night gets you.

Good location. Parking is always tight. Popular with the "cruise crowd". They're recovering from storm damage (Oct '17) but doing a good job of working around repairs.

This may be a much better place than what I was seeing. Hurricane Erma messed up the place so much construction which encroached into many areas. So maybe prior to this it was good, but not for me. PS don't eat the eggs at the Continental breakfast, they are terrible (only 1 out of 12 could eat)!

Nice hotel and clean hotel. Close to Ft. Lauderdale airport just in case you have to catch a flight first thing in the am. Hotel offers airport shuttle every hour on the hour.

It was a very easy (and free! ) shuttle ride to and from the airport and made for an easy one night between flights. Rooms were clean, lobby was beautiful, and reception was friendly.

Pleasant surroundings in hotel lobby. Lizards rule the pool area. They were every where. Breakfast is very good. Cook to order eggs, pancakes and french toast. The beach is close by.

Excellent, immediate, couteous service from the front desk. From the moment I called for a shuttle to the time I checked in, I was treated like these folks were waiting for me to get here. This is wow service.

Good location with nearby restaurants and complimentary shuttle to hotel. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. The service was good and the staff had a lot of helpful recommendations.

Comfy bed, great pillows, close to the airport for a reasonable price.

Hotel was nice, 5th floor smelt bad, and air conditioning would not get the room under 70.

Hotel was exactly what you'd expect. Clean, quiet etc. Front desk was so nice — pretty sure it was "Tom? " maybe. He was a delight. Keep him around :)

Friendly staff, and the beds are fitted with cloud like sleeping experience. Pillows are down or similar and airport comfortable. Pool and jacuzzi/hot tub. Gym, restaurant on premises and a snack closet/store at the check-in desk.

We booked a king size room several weeks before our stay. We arrived around 11:30 AM, a few hours before the 3 PM check in. The staff offered to take our bags and we went to get lunch. When we returned at 1:30 our room was still not ready. We decided to lounge by the pool. Around 2:30, we were informed that the room was ready for us. Unfortunately, there were 2 double beds in the room. After several conversations with the front desk staff, we were informed that the room with the king size bed would take another hour to be ready for us. Again, we had to leave our luggage with the front desk staff and chose to sit by the pool. Around 3:30 our new room was ready. The desk staff did give us free breakfast for our troubles, but it was a less than stellar experience for the price that we paid.

Housekeeping issues noted especially bathrooms, tubs worn and dirty looking. Lobby furniture shabby and dirty. Hotel shuttle service unreliable. Grounds and pool clean.

Great experience. Room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. No complaints, and I would highly recommend!

This hotel is a great find. The staff was incredibly helpful and check in/check out went flawlessly. I used work at the front desk at a 4 diamond resort and I was pleasantly surprised to see the same level of service I'm used to giving. Everything including rooms and pool were very clean and the price was right.

So, my girlfriend and I stayed here the night before we flew back home from Ft. Lauderdale. We flew in a few days before that, rented a car, drove down to the Keys, but came back to Ft. Lauderdale a day early to crash for the night before getting a flight out in the morning. I've ALWAYS had good luck with Hilton Garden Inn hotels… Had a great time in Tampa for a few days, a nice night in Syracuse on short notice, and a couple places I've traveled to for work have been very welcoming and comfortable as well. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about this location. We checked in around 6:30PM on a Monday night and the woman at the front desk was great. Just simple instructions, courteous, offered us water as I am a Hilton Honors member, and gave us directions to our room. Now, after driving 5+ hours back from the Keys (with a couple of stops and some traffic), I was absolutely exhausted… We went to the hotel bar/restaurant, which is tiny, but this is also sort of a small location — 4 bar stools, a decent eating area, and a small kitchen. No beer on tap, just bottles, but that's fine. I had a burger, my girlfriend had a salad, and neither of us were overly impressed… should have just gone to the Chipotle around the corner, but we were just too tired after our vacation. So, we go back to the room, she hops in the shower, I crash on the chair, charging my phone while checking email for a bit. Then… bed time… man was that disappointing.
