The room I stayed in was great. I had my 110 lb dog with me. We stayed in one of the pet friendly rooms. Very clean. Theres a nice pet potty area thats kept up and clean.

I love the suites on bottom floors with the hot tub.

Best service of a hotel I have ever stayed at! if you need something they are right on it and get it to you. Ran into a problem checking in and the staff was right on the situation fixing it! The hotel itself is beautiful, remodeled. Again all the staff here go out of their way to help you! We stay here at the Best Western Turquoise Inn & Suites every year we come to Cortez! I would recommend to any and everyone! 5 STARS!

Our favorite date night motel! love the indoor large hot tub with waterfall. Staff rocks. Breakfast yummie. Close to best pasta place around.

The service at this hotel is simply fantastic. When my girlfriend and I arrived at the establishment with no prior reservation the very kind attendant (Tricia) at the front desk did everything in her power to make sure we got the best room for the best price even on short notice. She was even so helpful as to suggest a place for dinner and a great creamery to try. The amenities were fantastic as well, the spa pool was amazing and very relaxing. The whole process leading up to checkout went very smoothly. The complimentary continental breakfast was truly full service, including cereal, hot foods, and even a make-your-own waffle station. Final checkout was smooth and painless. This place gets a well earned five stars from me.

I would highly recommend this property for anyone staying in Cortez. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, competitive price. Used the Best Western Turquoise Inn and Suites as my home base for all actives in the area. Close to Mesa Verde, Canyon of the Ancients to name a few. Really enjoyed the Rock Canyon Hike in the Canyon for the Ancients; Ask for a late check out and reward yourself with this 5 mile adventure.

It is a motel style temporary stay facility. All doors lead directly outside and there are no internal, guest accessible hallways. There is a busy, loud street directly outside so if you need quiet request a room in the back on the drums floor. Breakfast is included in your overnight price and is available in the main lobby each day from 6am to 10am. The pool and the hot tub have handicap devices allowing for a person who is mobility limited to be lowered into the water. Insulation between the rooms to the sides and top (i was on first floor) was a little lacking. Could often hear my neighbors.

This hotel is in my top 5 most favorite Best Westerns! Beautiful grounds, wonderful & clean rooms! But most impressive was Brittany! She went WAY over & beyond any service I’ve EVER had at hotel. She is Happy, sweet, knowledgeable, caring & kind! Kudos to you Brittany for being an awesome person!
In my opinion a happy employee reflects the employer~Kudos to the management for a nice work environment! We had planned on just passing through but Brittany told us all the awesome things to do & see in the area so we decided to stay another night.

An excellent resort-style lodging, the in-door jet-pool was extremely relaxing for the adults while the younger ones are out on the outside pool. The facility was really clean and the staff were of course always professional and helpful. Plus it's dog friendly for my mushu. I would definitely stay at this hotel during my route back home to California or visit to CO again.

This was a Best Western Motel in a smallish town. We were very pleased with the professional staff and cleanly updated rooms. Breakfast was great. The drawbacks are minimal because of the age of the building, which left it with inconvenient outlets for charging our phones and no fan in the bathroom, but a window that opened. But considering the location of the hotel, we were more than pleased with what we found in Cortez. Really a delightful little town. Enjoy your stay.

The service here was better than I have had in a long time. The hotel is not new with decor but clean and well maintained. They have a nice pool and hot tub and a great continental breakfast with lots to choose from. I would definitely recommend it.

The best place I've stayed by far. The rooms look like they have been updated, very clean as well. The breakfast was the best breakfast I've had, that has been included with my room, the chili verde was to die for. I had a problem with the people next door, being drunk and loud the last night there. The front desk was on top of it. Great customer service! Just an all around great place to stay. It really was a mini home away from home.

Especially considerate of our dogs staying at the hotel. Nice big suite for family comfort and breakfast had many choices. Quiet and very clean. Staff was especially considerate with any questions we may have asked.

Very nice hotel in a location convenient to Mesa Verde National Park and the Four Corners Monument, serving one of the best breakfasts I've had in a hotel. This is an older building that has been recently remodeled. It's very clean and comfortable, and the staff is excellent.

I really liked the indoor hot tub. The bubble jets we're bit funky and uneven though. Friendly staff as always at every Best Western I've been to. Laundry machines are always a plus when on a road trip. It's in a nice spot in town and is within walking distance to almost any of the food or venues in town.

Amazing customer service, I have never felt so much at home. The woman at the front desk was super kind and generous, upgraded our room free of charge, was extremely helpful when we had a question, she really went above and beyond. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was good, just an overall fantastic place. If I ever come back to Cortez, this is where I plan on staying.

Great place to stay. Breakfast was awesome and staff was friendly. Rooms where recently upgraded. Shower was amazing, plenty of water pressure and hot water. Only draw back was the size of the toilet. Looks like it would fit my kindergartner…

We only stayed one night but after a long day, it was terrific. The room was comfortable and everything worked. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast that was offered was tasty. Overall great experience.

The wife and I stayed here and it was great for us. From the outside you think to yourself that it will not be impressive, but that is just wrong. Tricia at the front desk was taking care of us right away, and even did us a few favors with a little room upgrade (we are on our honeymoon) and some dining recommendations. The “little” upgrade turned out to be a huge upgrade and we could not have been happier. I wish we had stayed here two nights instead of stay in Durango that long.

The hot tub was down for maintenance, but everything else was amazing. Breakfast had many great options, well stocked. Bathroom had quality toiletries. Coffee maker, mini fridge are great. Wifi with good signal. Staff was polite and helpful.

Very nice room with very nice staff. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. My only complaint would be with the new hardwood floors, it stays very cold in the room. Maybe offer some cheap house shoes or even thick slip resistant socks would be nice, especially during winter months. I only stayed one night, but the outlet in the bathroom didn't work either. Overall, I'd definitely stay there again. :)

Best hotel we stayed at during our whole trip. Room was clean and had everything we needed. The staff really goes above and beyond though. The front desk clerk was so friendly and helpful. I chatted with the grounds keeper who was also super friendly and really helpful in getting more information about the area. It snowed the night we stayed and they had it all shoveled and salted in no time, way before anyone was awake. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're in the area.

The room we got was better than we could have imagined. It had a partitioned adult room so the kids slept in one room and we slept in the other and as a result we all slept great. Breakfast the next day was also fantastic. I could not have asked for better experience.

Wonderful hotel staff and fantastic breakfast! This location is set up as a car lodge motor inn of days gone by. It has been updated in every respect and made for a quite cozy stay. The rooms are fresh and bright, the hot breakfast was constantly stocked. The indoor jet pool was beyond our expectation and allowed for quite a bit of relaxation with the extended hours it is open. There is nowhere else in the area I would consider staying! We will definitely be back.

I recommend this property. The room was large, clean and dog friendly. (There is a dog fee however) The breakfast was better than average. All the staff were cheerful and attentive.

I have stayed at this hotel before but they have done a remodel since. The rooms are updated, clean, and comfortable. The staff was fantastic! The breakfast was nice, nothing fancy, but it served the purpose by starting my day off right. I stayed here because I was visiting Mesa Verde National Park. The park is only a few miles outside of Cortez so this makes a great place to stay at a great price. I would have given it five stars, but it's an older hotel. It's in great shape though, especially after the rooms were updated. I will be staying here again when I come back. The staff was so great I left with a huge smile on my face. It's not that hard to do, but so rarely happens. Nice job, keep it up!

I love it and it's so nice. I love everything inside the motel they have microwave oven coffee espresso with the small cup I love it it's so cute I love the room and it's warm I have a great night with my family's.

Rooms are always available last minute. Very clean, friendly service up front. Okay breakfast. We come for the amazing indoor heated pool, which is surprisingly empty every time we visit. The location is right in town making it a close walk to shops and food.

Everything was good except the Internet. It would be fine then drop you. Over and over and over. Extremely frustrating. I was dealing with a work issue back home. The front desk would ‘reboot ‘ the system but it shouldn’t require that every 15 minutes or so. Nothing new to them it was an issue. Food staff and cleanliness were all good. It’s just the internet that was terrible and I won’t stay here again because of it.

Fabulously comfortable, great experience. Used mobile check in and check out, which was very easy and convenient. The complimentary breakfast was REALLY good. Biscuits and gravy along with those eggs and home fried potatoes? Yep. Waffles. Of course. Making your own chocolate waffles, or waffles with blueberries, and/or pecans, and or strawberry topping or real whipped cream topping… WOW! Really nice! The rooms were super clean and decoratively very nice. Wish I'd realized they had a year-round, indoor sauna pool! Just have the best things to say about our stay… but lastly, the FIREPLACE… loved it!

Nice place, friendly staff. Fast internet. Parking is almost always pretty full. Pets allowed so be prepared to hear cute barks early morning and late nights. Found a couple of baby cockroaches under the sink in the hotel room. The front desk staff didn't seem to believe me; she said that it was uncommon to find those creatures in Colorado, but they paid us a visit, which remains a fact. Generous with toiletries. Heated indoor spa. Good breakfast.

An updated older motel. We enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable, the pillows were great and the room was clean. Good remodel on the bathroom. The staff at the desk was very helpful. Breakfast was good and all we needed. The price was right! I would stay here again.

It's not a bad hotel the rooms are nice and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. Could use a paint job on the ceiling in the shower looks like its had a leak. Outside could use some major sprucing up. Breakfast was decent we just had to wait a while for food to be brought out.

As a member of the military I appreciate any company that appreciates the military and the service members. It is apparent that Best Western, more specifically THIS Best Western appreciates their military customers. We called in to reserve a room and Tricia answered and assisted us. She was very appreciative of my service and got us a great room! She is a rock star and if I was running a business I would be very happy to have employees like her on my staff. Our stay was amazing, if I were ever to visit Cortez again I will absolutely stay here!

Three Queen suite with soda bed was EXCELLENT for our family of 7. We didn't get a chance to use the hot tub, but it looked super cool and much bigger than the typical hot tub. Close to other things in town, and only 10 minutes from Mesa Verde. Really friendly staff, well stocked room. AC units run a little loud, but nothing you can't sleep through. It's better than a simple continental breakfast, and really tasty.

The service is excellent and the rooms very beautiful.
