The hotel and rooms were well kept and clean. Breakfast was included. We didn't use the outdoor pool but it looked well maintained. Perfect hotel for a quick stay. It is a little smaller but very affordable. Located only 9 miles from Mess Verde so it was very convenient for our vacation!

We arrived late on a busy Friday night. The hotel was full except for one smoking room, although I had reserved a non-smoking room through the central reservation phone #. We ended up taking the room, thinking we could run the a/c throughout the night to cut down on the smoke smell. Once we checked in, we discovered that one of the a/c units wasn't working. The nice young man in the office on the night shift found a fan for us, and we ran the other a/c unit, but the smell remained pretty strong throughout our stay. Upon checkout the next morning, I told the desk clerk, Libby, what had happened, and she offered a discount on the bill that I thought was very fair. She was very polite and friendly. The breakfast ladies were really hustling keeping a good supply of food, so leave them a tip! I suggest to hotel management to make all rooms smoke-free, as many hotels have done.

The location was okay, pretty close to where we were going. The rooms were pretty spacious, however my main gripe with the Days Inn is that literally only two lights in the entire room worked. Of the 3 lamps in the room, a total of none of them worked. Only the bathroom light and vanity light above the sink (outside the main bathroom) worked. Other than that, the outdoor pool and hottub were nice, and the employees were friendly and helpful.

Easy access to Mesa Verde, staff was super friendly, there was a good variety of food for breakfast. The rooms were clean and cool when we arrived. They had parking for our u-haul. Great experience!

I stayed overnight at the hotel during the week. Service was fine. The room was acceptable. I did not have breakfast in the hotel.

This is a great place to stay very friendly staff and I was well accommodated they gave me aroom with two queen beds for the price of a one bed room because they were full. Definitely will stay again on my next trip to Cortez.

Good, clean hotel. Rooms are quiet. Got a room with a microwave and mini-fridge and it was very roomy. Great parking if you are towing a trailer. Only problem I had was the room key didn't work the second day of stay and had to go back to the front desk to have them fix it. I would definitely stay there again.

Enjoyed the stay. We were doing the Wyndham's go fast and they upgraded or room. Rooms were clean. Everyone there was very nice. Made or stay in Cortez very nice. And enjoyed the Canyon's of the Ancients. All and all a great trip!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and plenty of towels. They upgraded our room at no extra charge as we are Wyndham members. We would be glad to stay here again. Thanks to all of the staff.

Great room for the price. Great TV channels! I didn't know that crappy hotel TV was no longer a thing! Good breakfast, easy to find!

The place is old, but it is clean. I tried to call the front desk to complain that the internet was slow, but the phone didn’t work. Wifi has 687 latency and 1.3 MBPS! Dial up is faster! I would have spent more for a place with 1/2 decent Wi-Fi speed.

The worst experience I have ever had! Jan bullied my husband and I blaming us for crashing her card programing machine. She was making rude comments under her breath. She acted extremely irritated when we couldn't get in our room and needed her assistance. We were given wrong information about the sauna access times, then yelled at by Jan because we were in there after hours. The shower shut off twice while trying to rinse soap off. The coffee creamer was 2 months expired, and when I asked to print off an important document I was by the person on the morning shift that she did not know how to work the computer, then she continued to print off a payment confirmation of our stay. DON'T STAY HERE — Spend an extra $25 to stay at the Best Western!

Worst place in Cortez to stay. Stayed there on Xmas Eve. Got to Cortez for Xmas went to Day inn where I had a reservation for the night. When I arrived there was a note on the door that said they were closed and I could get a room at another place. I went to the other motel harbor inn and suites. It sucked. My res was not there, they had a pet policy. My card had been charged already. It was the worst motel night stay I have ever had! dont stay at days inn.

Have stayed here three times. Breakfast is good nothing to write home about. Two queen beds are all on the second floor. No elevator. This time are ironing board had no cover. I called the front desk and within 10 to 15 minutes Somebody's knocking on my door with a replacement. So that was nice. Good price to sleep and grab a quick bite.

They decided because I was a local my family couldn't stay. I had a room booked for my husband and baby. But appreciate they have trouble with people in that town. I don't think a place should judge people by an address. We had no choice but to find a new place last minute. We need to be in town to get to the hospital at 5 am the next morning.

Very comfy bed and good breakfast in the morning. Awesome deal for the price!

Good clean rooms. Co worker and I got a double queen room. Was clean bathroom big for a motel and the room was big with a table in it. Had microwave, bigger mini fridge, coffee maker and 32 inch t. V. Overall happy!

You get what you pay for. I always hope to find a good deal, but places like this just confirm it. I was disappointed.

Probably one of the best places to stay in the area, was full of travelers which is a good sign. L shaped building, wroth pool and had and picnic tables, inclusive breakfast.

Five stars, for a 2.5 star hotel. The continental breakfast was better than what I usually experience. Shower was also nice.

It was cool place to stay in the night, the room and beds where good and clean just the bathroom ceiling fan sounded like wanted​ to shoot out to the sky lol and there was some water damage to walls I it was trippy how the rooms where all together I thought people had their room door open but the rooms are inside this big room I don't​ know how to explain it you got to be there to see it.

Friendly staff and excellent service. The cleanliness of rooms and hotel was exceptional. The hotel is dated about 1970s but has had clean and recent refurbishment. I recommend it for price and environment. Hence 5* is my rating.

The beds were comfortable! The Shower and Toilet were clean. Towels were a but rough. Plenty of towels hand clothes and rags. The decor was simple. You can tell where they tried to update the room. There were a few cob webs in the ceiling corners, the sink could be updated. The air conditioner work good. The housekeepers walked in (We had the door cracked a tiny bit) and a maintenance man about 3 times during the morning while getting ready. The gouside needs updating like the stairs. But other then that it was good for the price and was a good put stop to sleep, shower and get ready… Oh yeah and good small and quick continental breakfast.

Reasonably priced and comfortable enough. They have their own laundry facilities, which is convenient for long-distance travellers. Unfortunately, the pool and hot tub weren't open for the season yet when we were there.

Very Clean no bed bugs, we stayed in a smoking room by request. I will admit it seems with it being smoking room it's a bit neglected. The other rooms looked well kept. I think the night shift, are up beat amazing and helpful people. They kept fresh coffee in the lobby all night. The morning desk clerk, has a lot of attitude. The breakfast staff was nice, they did serve the same breakfast each day. At the time of our stay the hot tub did not work, and when I asked the lady in the day if the indoor one was available, I was just told simply: no as she turned away. When returning we will stay here again best budget hotel.

Very good budget hotel. Rooms were very large with with more then enough space for two queen beds luggage and a pack and play. The pool was also nice. I give 4 stars because the breakfast was below average, but I would stay here again.

Room was clean and well furnished. The room was also quite large. The free breakfast was nice and more than adequate. The was spotty at best and I ended up not using it. The pool was clean and fairly private. Overall I would definitely stay again.

The start was fairly good. Some of the online pictures were somewhat deceptive, as they didn't look much like this Days Inn at all. The second was okay at best. The guy at the front desk didn't seem to know answers to quite a few things and made vague guesses at times. Overall I would probably stay here again if the price was slightly less.

Imagine you checked in at front desk, got your room's key and enter the room. And then you discovered that the room has not been cleaned, the beds have not been made after the previous guest had left. That situation happened with my family and I during this year's Memorial Day weekend road trip. The hotel check-in time is 3 PM, I checked in at 5:30 PM. I called the front desk to ask them to send someone to clean my room. 15 minutes later, no one shown up. I walked to the front desk to tell them about my room. The front desk lady checked with her manager then asked me to go out to have dinner or something like that so that they have time cleaning the room. So we went out for dinner and then took a tour to Mesa Verde NP. When we got back to the hotel, the room has been cleaned, beds have been made, … I wanted to turn on the A/C and I found out that the wall mounted AC's power cord not plugged in. So I did plug it and it ran too strong for a few minutes and then it died. It's almost 10 PM so I didn't want to call them. I got sick the day after that. I didn't receive anything from them to express their apology about the inconvenience they caused to me and my family. It was so horrible during the night sleeping in the room when thinking about the messy room we saw when we opened the door. So be aware if you want to stay at this hotel.

The roomed clean and that was what mattered to me most. The breakfast is just a bunch of artificial junk, went out to breakfast instead. There are some trailers on the adjacent property and the ppl who live there get ice and stuff from the motel. Plus there is a huge difference ft leash dog wandering about and barks.

With mixed reviews, we decided to get it a try. Couldn't beat the price. Comfortable beds, spacious room, little outdated lamp, but flat screen on the wall. Mini fridge and microwave in the room. Went down for breakfast, hot waffles, yogurt, cereal, etc. Apple and Orange juice was really good. We, family of 4, have no complaints and agree this may be the most comfortable beds in two weeks on the road and we have stayed in 4* resorts. Decided to stay here another day just to relax and not rush thru Mesa Verde. Highly recommend. Staff is very nice and friendly as well. Kudos to them as well.

It's was a really good place to stay in. The location is convenient, rooms are good, enough of parking space and delicious breakfast.

Stuck in snow storm. Didn't check in until 4:00 am. Sonja was so kind and considerate to our situation. Owner got up out of bed to check us in. Rooms very clean and well equipped. Even turned the heater on before we arrived. You can just tell that the staff actually cares. Very rare in today's world. Thank you so much.

BEDBUG FOUND IN THIS HOTEL! Captured one in a tissue & took it to the front desk. They threw it away. I asked if they'd had that problem. One clerk said yes, and it's inevitable in a dry area like Cortez. They discounted my rate but couldn't take off the whole rate. I'll call the manager & the health department. On a 15-day vacation, and this is the only hotel we've had a problem in the 10 days we've been on the road.

Nice room good breakfast price $159 for 3 queen beds double room on the end of the month of june it's razonable and 10 mins from meza verde.

Super clean, wonderful room (King) on the second floor. The grass was cut, the pool was being tended, and the desk clerk was thoughtful. I loved staying here and it was a 30-second walk across the corner of the parking lot to an excellent Mexican restaurant. In addition, I have a dog, and across the street was a roomy, underutilized dog park. I couldn't have been happier at the Days Inn.

This hotel was nice the beds and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower had good pressure. It had a flat screen TV and the hotel was pet friendly which was convenient. Over all the hotel was nice I recommend this hotel for any one in this area.
