Great Hotel! Very Customer Friendly!

Very nice place to stay. The staff is real nice and helpful.

Extremely friendly staff and very helpful in parking buses for overnight!

Decent room at a reasonable price. The continental breakfast was great, especially the pancake machine. The lemonade, cookies, and crackers in the evening were appreciated.

The staff here was very nice!

Charged me for an extra night. Told me they would refund my money but charged me for yet another night. Told me they'd call back. Didn't. Won't respond to e-mails. So far they've charged me for 4 nights when I only spent 2. Still waiting for a resolution. Doubt it will ever come from their end.

Friendly staff who were inviting, happy to help, willing to chat and enjoy some banter. Clean and fairly up to date. Close to the downtown area but not so close as to feel cramped by it. I enjoyed the breakfast but I'll still get my coffee at Starbucks.

This place is very clean, comfortable, quiet and the staff is very friendly. We have stayed 3 times in the last six months just to get away from home for a couple of days. The rooms are very nice and very clean. Out in front they offer cookies, punch, snacks, and fresh fruit as well. They have treats for ur dog too. This place is worth the stay and the money. A must stay. The gomez and Adam's family.

This is a pretty new hotel. It was clean and comfortable. I was only there for one night, and didn't make use of many amenities. The breakfast looked pretty extensive compared to similar hotels that I've stayed in lately. I wish it had more elevators. It only has the one, and it sometimes got a little crowded.

Amazing beds! Great rooms. Great amenities. I felt the staff could be a little more warm, but overall better than I expected.

The staff was helpful and they have one of the cleanest pools I have seen. No bacon at breakfast but it was hot had a good meal for refueling before a long drive.

Clean, safe, free hot breakfast, and a nice heated pool and hot tub. Free yummy cookies! Everyone employed at this establishment was attentive and friendly. What more could you ask for? Thank you!

Just stayed here with my family for a week because my grandparents lost their house in the fire, and manager Sarah would not even discuss a weekly or discounted rate with us. She claimed she already gave us a discounted rate and that she usually charges closer to $200 a night. She was completely rude and finally told us we could call corporate to negotiate our rate further AFTER my mom broke down in tears about my grandparents losing their house. Our room was only cleaned once during the whole week, and any time we had a question, we were redirected to the manager (Sarah), who was always busy or not there. Would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a hospitable experience.

Very clean. Friendly staff. Good location. I was lucky enough not to be facing the street because it cant get pretty loud on that side of the bldg. The gym was excellent.

Visited around 10pm and stood and waited for 40mins for the guy at the counter to try and enter my card; after a while he said “Uhm go sit down and I’ll enter your information”. Seemed sketchy because he handed my card back but kept my ID. After he walked out of the room thumbing for manuals, swiping my card and making phone calls my wife and I decided to stay elsewhere. He was apologetic but didn’t seem to care if he was taking too long or pushing us off. All in all the hotel seemed dated, and slapped together. Had second thoughts as I walked in the door but was too tired to think further.

My husband and I are coming down for a graduation this weekend and booked a room at this hotel. We realized that we booked for the wrong day and called to change it, but they didn’t have any more rooms available which is completely understandable given that it’s graduation weekend. We then asked if we could have our money back, but they said it was non-refundable. Ok. How about a credit for another holiday inn express? No. They said they could only credit us for that location. Are you kidding me? We will literally never be back to Alamosa and we are appalled that they would not accommodate us in the slightest. We talked to three different people all unsympathetic and not helpful. Do not stay here friends.

Great Holiday inn Express. Front desk staff and management are very friendly. Room was very nice and clean. Hotel is within a block of a Walmart and other shopping. Also close to a restaurant.

I had a 100 dollar and a 50 dollar bill missing from my computer bag. Shame on me for leaving my money in the room. They said they would investigate. End of sorry never heard back. And they need to move the cigarette butt containers away from the front entrance of the building.

The poorest customer service I have ran across in a major hotel chain. My company has a direct bill to Holiday Inn Co. We stay at the chain all the time. We had to cancel a room reservation less that 5 minutes after the reservation was made (The highway was reopened after we were told it was going to be closed overnight) The hotel manager would not cancel the reservation! Unbelievable!

We had a great visit, five days in town. All the staff were very polite and professional at all times. The breakfast was very good too. The food was delicious, the sausage gravy was appreciated. The room for the handicapped, me, was easy to use. Again thank you for a very pleasant place to stay. We shall be back, Linwood.

Great place to stay in terms of value for money. They were very accommodating for our very large school group.

This hotel was amazing! The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and the pillows and beds were extremely comfortable! On that note if someone from the Holiday Inn staff happens to see this I would love to know what brand of bed and pillows you guys are using? My wife and I have been thinking of replacing ours since staying at this hotel and our bed is only 4 years old. Back to the review though, everything was very clean and comfortable, high speed internet was reliable and the Continental Breakfast was just what you would expect.

This place was awesome. The room was spacious; the staff extra nice and accomodating and the breakfast was fantastic. It is a little ways out of town but alamosa is so small that everything is less than 10 minutes away. Would definitely stay here again!

Hands down the best holiday inn express I've ever had the pleasure at staying at. Its the little things that count. The coffree maker ready to go with a k cup in the room. Full breakfast. Cookies when you walk in.

Over all we had a good stay, Friday thru Sunday. My only qualms were that there was no "on" button for the fan, which was stated on the pamplet in our bedroom. Saying we could use said button to keep the fan running all night, which is good because we need white noise to sleep. So we ended up buying our own fan because the room fan kept shutting off and we'd hear all the traffic and door noise. Beds were comfy, bathrooms nice, staff was nice and breakfast was good! Probably will stay here again some time but come prepared if you're like us and need white noise.

This is a great hotel and have always liked it. Whenever I come here for the Alamosa Early Iron, the staff are always welcoming and friendly. There are snacks always available and the rooms are nice. The continental breakfast is great too!

The hotel staff was very welcoming and even offered snacks for us before heading to our room. The room itself was clean and spacious and bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was stocked with more than enough towels. Breakfast was complimentary and was rather good for a hotel breakfast. My only wish would be that it stayed open a little later than 930am. The staff was also prompt to take away the hot food items, before checking to see if the guests still eating may have wanted some. Check out was very simple and didn't require a lengthy process. Overall I greatly enjoyed my stay.

I generally am very pleased with my experience at HIE, but this hotel was an exception. After stepping in the shower, I found the bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash all to be empty. The Wi-Fi connection was also flaky, and kept dropping on all of my devices. Fortunately, there was a standard ethernet connection that worked and my laptop is old enough that it still has a cat 5 port. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was decent.

I am not a hotel loving person, but this hotel has been wonderful from the moment we stepped inside. The front desk people have been great, the hotel smells clean and looks clean, and the best part was the bed. (HEAVENLY) Breakfast is on them and they have a great selection, and coffee was very good. Thanks for a great night Holiday Inn.

I have stayed at the Holiday Inn in Alamosa several times. It has always been a pleasure to stay here. The beds and pillows are quite comfortable with no sagging. The breakfast is always a good combination of hot items and standard continental fare. This time they even had cartons of whole milk! I have never been let down by Holiday Inn (except when they were sold out! ), one of my favorite hotel chains.

Our room was clean but the AC did not cool our room and the Internet would not work. Very hard to get a connection and then when you did, it would crash! Talked with the front desk (both shifts) and I got a "sorry" and "we know it is a problem and will be updated in the future. " Well — that didn't help me. We would have stayed at the newer Hampton Inn or newer Fairfield Inn if we would have known. Disappointed in Holiday Inn Express brand.

Service was friendly, prompt, and attentive. The room was roomy and clean. The sheets had a small stain, but they very quickly replaced the sheet. The bed was comfortable. We couldn't get two beds so we had a king and used the pull-out sofa. The pull-out was absolutely atrocious. Pretty much just springs with a thin covering. Overall, the hotel was nice even though sleeping was rough.

The Holiday Inn was an excellent place to stay the night. The room was spacious and comfortable with pleasant decor. The bathroom was a bit on the small side, with a shower cave being the unique feature. Overall it was a decent hotel, and I will be back again soon.

I have stayed at this location half a dozen times. Rooms are always very clean and smell great. Staff is always friendly. Bacon, biscuits and gravy for free breakfast as well as a lot of other options. Highly recommended if in Alamosa.

We stayed here while visiting the Great Sand Dunes, and it was a great choice. The service was super friendly and helpful, and the hotel is in good shape. The room was spacious, the bathroom was clean, and the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of outlets, and the breakfast was good too. It's right on the main drag, but it's quiet too. Really, the only downside was the Wi-Fi was kind of slow.

We had the most amazing stay. The staff were so awesome & friendly. The breakfast is great & delicious!

Check in was quick. Greeted by the front counter attendant he acknowledged my children and made them feel at home. As you walk in there are goodies and if you are traveling you can be sure to be hungry. Equipped with laundry room and swimming pool there will be a full service breakfast. For FREE!

What an absolutely wonderful stay! The beds were just wonderful, the front desk staff very helpful and the breakfast was delicious! Felt like I was in a restaurant with waitress, she came around and poured coffee and checked on us frequently! Clean and neat! We reserved a suite, and the extra TV was a treat for my kids! Thank you thank you thank you for being a bright spot in our weekend getaway to the Sand Dunes!
