We just arrived and we love the place, very comfy, very clean, too many great things! Definitely coming back to this place!

Very clean rooms, fast service & modern style throughout.

I do not recommend this hotel as they do not allow cancellations if you cannot make your reservation. They charge you a full nights fee and will not reverse the charge even if they didn’t check you in. Shame on you for putting policies like this in the fine print so people don’t know any better. Not a customer friendly establishment.

Great hotel! Clean and welcoming! The front desk staff was great. My family also really enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

Great staff, clean room, breakfast was the best! Blueberries, strawberries, cantaloupe, eggs, cereal and hot oatmeal already made. Waffles. Yogurt so good.

We chose this hotel for a good rest before heading out to the dunes the next morning. Clean, comfortable, modern, good breakfast. We enjoyed it!

Enjoyed our stay. Clean and comfortable rooms. The hot tub wasn't working properly so it was we were disappointed and a strong chlorine smell in the pool area. It wouldn't stop me from staying there again but after a long drive the hot tub would have been nice.

Good location just outside of town with your typical clean environment and friendly staff.

Very nice rooms, and very nice common areas. The staff has been very kind and helpful. Regarding location, it's not near downtown which is a bummer. It is near basic restaurants and a Walmart. Being closer to the downtown restaurants would be nice.

Rooms are nice service was alright. Very comfy beds. The breakfast is pretty darn good too.

We had a very comfortable stay here while visiting the Great Sand Dunes National Park. Greta went out of her way to help make our stay wonderful. Overall we were very pleased with the accommodations: good size room, comfortable bed & pillow and soft towels.

Made last minute reservations here because it was an unplanned stop in Alamosa. We chose the Fairfield Inn & Suites because it is part of the Marriott family of hotels. All the Marriott's and Renaissance's we have stayed at before have all been nice and had friendly staff. The evening desk clerk/manager, Greta, was super friendly and very helpful. The room was a double queen, nice size and from first appearances clean. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom quite large. We got all settled in and then noticed that the bathtub had been overlooked by housekeeping. (Yes, we thoroughly checked the rest of the room and beds to make sure it was just the bathroom that was overlooked. ) We called down to the front desk and Greta offered us another room, but we asked if housekeeping could just come and clean the bathtub again as that was all that had not been cleaned. Greta said they would be right up to clean it, and the housekeeper did come right up but she was in the bathroom less than three minutes tops. I knew there was no way that she cleaned the tub that quickly, so after she left I went back in the bathroom to check it and, no surprise, it was still dirty. I went downstairs and talked to Greta and she got her cleaning supplies and came up and cleaned it properly herself. After the tub had been cleaned so we could shower, the rest of the stay was just… ok. Beware, the walls are pretty thin and the people next door were really loud and kept us up.

Always good and always comfy beds. No disappointment here.

Nice Hotel. Overall it is a basic Fairfield Inn and certainly a good place to stop in Alamosa. The pool is also a nice addition. Located in a good part of town and easy access to the rest of Alamosa. The breakfast spread was nice and the food was good. I recommend it!

Very clean throughout, friendly staff and breakfast was great with lots of variety. Most likely the best choice of hotel in Alamosa.

We got in late but check in was a breeze. The bed linens were clean and super comfortable. The bathroom shower was a extra large walkin with a neat door, so that was fun. They have a weird cable service but that didn't matter at all to my husband and I. All in all a very pleasant stay.

It's okay. We arrived late at night, clerk Tamara was kind, helpful, and professional in all she did for us. Rooms had odor, changed to another room. My granddaughter said, "It smells a little better, but smells like pits". Check-in receipt was not correct-charged $294, showed in date, not out date. Asked for redo. My rest was good, comfy bed. Continental breakfast was good. Visited family, and afternoon we returned to Inn, our room smelled awful, like musty rag, ewwww. We went for a swim, nice warm pool area. Then decided to check out, can't deal with odors. Checkout clerk Greta said I see you have another reservation. I said no I don't, we are leaving. She said I can't cancel it, cause I didn't do it, so I said okay. I left a note to ask manager Troy to call me. He was quick to call me in the morning. He said yes you have a credit of $69. I said" that is incorrect, my receipt said total charges are supposed to be $181 for 2 nights, according to my receipt, though I arrived at midnight and left in evening of same day. " He said "This is the way it is. " He quickly chose to disregard all my concerns.
My family stays at Marriott Hotels (yes members), but this one in Alamosa, I will NOT recommend. It is not worth the stress.

A very cosy, beautiful and elegant hotel, with a nice restaurant, a swimming pool, some great rooms and a very fine cuisine!

New and very comfortable. However at check in they ran my debit card to put a hold on it. They said that it was declined so I gave them a different one. They said that was also declined. The front desk clerk called the manager who said to check me in anyway. I found out the next day that they ran one card 28 times. That bank caught it and did not place the holds. They ran the other card 8 times and that bank allowed them to place 8 holds which used up my available funds (each hold was equal to a week's hotel stay) and put a lid on my vacation for a couple days until it was cleared up. The manager wrote a letter indicating that it was an error but didn't reimburse the $40 in bank fees. I'm not sure there's a good solution except if they tell you that your card is declined, tell them not to run it again.

Stayed for one night on the way to Denver, room was quiet, clean, modern. Breakfast was perfect in the morning for my family. Would stay here again for sure, lots of local places to eat and shop.

The staff is amazing! Everybody was really nice, but I esspecially appreciated the front desk staff. Breakfast was about what you would expect and the rooms are in good condition and clean. Will probably be our go-to when travelling to Alamosa.

My stay here was wonderful from the ease of checking in, the clean quiet room, to the hot breakfast. The price was worth staying at the Fairfield over the cheaper, poorer rated hotels. I will definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends and family.

Everyone here was very nice and helpful. The rooms were great and the breakfast was really good.

We were on a road trip to see the Great Sand Dunes and we stayed here. Perfect and clean. Not too far away from the center of town where we had dinner.

Stayed two nights — before and after train trip on the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad in Antonito. Alamosa was a convenient location, and the room was quiet and confortable, as we always expect from Marriott.

This hotel is really nice and in a good location. It looks brand new. The breakfast is also good. I like the waffles and syrup selection. The rosemary potatoes for breakfast is also delicious.

It's not a HUGE — hotel — it's quiet, clean, comfortable bed, good breakfast and is very much to human scale with real people operating the place.
The only reason I give 4 stars and not 5 is that the elevator is noisy — grunts and groans and the in room a/c is slightly noisy — Otherwise everything is what one expects.

The pool had way to much chlorine and burned our eyes within mins of getting in the pool. The pool was the main reason for us stopping on the way. The toilet continued to run and the room never got cold.

Friendly service, clean rooms, Continental breakfast. The hot tub had sine issues with the jets but your kids won't notice! About 45 minutes from Great Sand Dunes. Very close to Locavores which is great place for quick quality meals.

Great hotel! Wasn't originally planning to stay here but our other hotel didn't work out so we came here! Service was extremely friendly, room was very nice! Breakfast was okay, lots of choice but I'm a picky eater so I didn't like it as much.

Service was awesome. Super clean, modern rooms with the best pillows ever. Seriously, the pillows were crazy comfortable. Breakfast was far better than others I've had traveling on business. Overall, one of the best places I've ever spent a night in. Oh yeah it's close to everything you might need and it'd conveniently located. Well done staff of the Fairfield Inn & suites — Alamosa.

Worse sleep ever. Pillows way to high and hard. Bed had a ridge down center. Good food. Paid $100 over regular fee for a Friday night.

We stayed one night after visiting the Sand Dune National Park. The rooms were clean and the complementary breakfast was good.

New rooms. Prompt service. Great facilities. Breakfast (included) was pretty good. I'd stay here again and would totally recomend staying here.

The Fairfield was an excellent place to stay the night. The room was spacious and comfortable with a huge bathroom designed around handicap accessibility. The bed was soft and the blankets were warm. My only complaint was there wasn't a freezer in the mini fridge, but that's not a big deal. I was very comfortable and I plan on staying here again next time I'm in town.

Locationis is in a good place right next to Walmart & several restaurants. Rooms are always clean, and the staff is wonderful always ready to help if needed.

Upon arrival MoD was very nice and helpful and friendly. She helped us with suggestions for dinner. Room was clean and very well kept. Had the traditional hot/cold complementary breakfast. The person working the breakfast area was very friendly and helpful to make sure guests had everything they needed. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend this to other.

Great decor! Very modern with fun and whimsical art. Comfy beds. Really good coffee. The free breakfast has nice options. I'd definitely recommend this place if you are visiting Alamosa.

Everyone on staff was SO NICE and welcoming! The hotel was clean and beautiful. My 11 year old kept saying "this place looks so modern! " Lastly, the free breakfast was really good and Joe, who works at the breakfast bar, was so friendly and funny, he really helped us start our day on the right foot! We will definitely stay at the Fairfield Inn when we visit Alamosa again!

When I arrived it looked great. It was easy to check in. First impression was good from the outside. Then I got to the room. Again looked good but then I got to the towels. One had red lip stick on it couldn't use that one. Pulled another one, that one had black stuff all over it. So the next morning I told the receptionist that the towels were dirty. She seemed concerned and advised me that I could have anything on the snack bar for free. I let her know there was a "Do Not Disturb" on the door. She said "That wont matter we will get those towels replaced with more clean ones before you get back. " I even asked "Do I need to remove the do not disturb sign? " She said " No it will be fine. " 8 hours after my meeting I went up to the room to shower and still had the same dirty towels sitting there. With it being a Marriott named Hotel I expected better. It wasn't just the towel that turned me off it was the dinning room also. It was filthy. When I went to get the breakfast I went to sit down had egg dropping from the previous eater almost at every table. The towels in the pool area to dry off were dirty also. I'm not a picky person by any means but when you pay high dollar I expect clean towels and tables. My iron board cover kept falling off, I couldn't find the channel list and the alarm clock didn't work. The best thing about my experience there was the Wifi was fast, the pool water was clean and the beds are nice.

Nicest hotel in Alamosa, still fairly new compared to Hampton Inn next door. Stayed here several times and staff is always great. The standard rooms and suites are both outstanding. Breakfast is a bit limited on options but always get plenty to eat.

Front Desk Drew was very nice and helpful… there was a little snag with my associate rate and the situation turned very sour when Troy the Manager came out without a greeting, he did not introduce himself and was just downright rude! I felt bad for Drew because Drew was embarrassed. My husband is on oxygen and needed to settle in but there we were trying to straighten things out. His daughter was also with us and I felt so embarrassed with the whole situation because I promised her that we were going to be treated very well because where I work we treat our guest with respect. There was a very nice lady that could tell we were stressing out and she helped my husband with his oxygen equipment… her name is Paulanne… bless her heart. If my husband had not been with me I would have told Mr. Troy… well… you know… and I would have taken my business elsewhere! I felt so unwelcomed that night… however Drew really tried and succeeded to make the rest of our weekend pleasant. Rooms were nice and clean, great breakfast… but I couldn't totally shake off the bad reception Mr. Troy gave us. One of our "Basic Rules" where I work is to never talk about a guest in front or at ear shot… Mr. Troy was yakking away to Drew about me when I was just 8 feet away! Maybe Mr. Troys' boss needs to remind him to read the "Basic Rules". To bad a Manager… a Manager… because he was in a bad mood… has claimed for Fairfield Inn & Suites in Alamosa, Co a very very low rate. Maria Teresa Garcia/r.
