The casino is great bit my review will focus on the Mid City grill in the Century Casino. This was my second visit there as I thought giving the grill a second chance. This second visit showed a huge problem with customer service on seated there is a long wait for a server to show up for drink order. The first time we waited about 15 minutes. This visit was much the same we waited 20 minutes for our server to show up for just drink order and meal order. The drinks were served in a timely manner and our food arrived in an timely manner. My friend peered a hamburger without buns but arrived with buns. No biggie. We ate and did not show up to refill drinks or inquire if we needed to go box or dessert. He showed up only to drop the bill. The bill was 20. And some odd cents we only had a 20.00 and a 10.00 he asked if we wanted the change back which we said yes please. Our thought was the service did not merit a almost 10.00 tip but we're going to leave tip of 5.00. Well the server never returned. We asked another server who wakes by and he said he would help. 25 minutes later I found the hostess and asked for the manager and relayed the problem of the missing server and change. She stated the manager was looking for him I let her know we had at that point been waiting for approx 45 minutes for our change. The hostess came to our table and gave us 10.00 and apologized and went on to say the server can be pretty goofy and spaced out. We thanked her and left.

Nice place with a very open feel. Very helpful and nice staff with a smile on their faces. Lots of game tables and a ton of slots. High Roller options available. Had a free $50 play coupon and made it into $200. On the house play is the best!

Just spent four days there for a family reunion. They gave us a super group rate on rooms. We also used a banquet room that could have not been more perfect for our event. They catered our event with a delicious taco bar with all the trimmings. The staff was very attentive and nice. Always making sure we had everything we needed. Thank you Shaun, Liz, Stacy and rest of the staff you made our stay unforgettable.

Excellent French dip sandwich. They just took a slab of prime rib and put it on a bun. The food the others in my party also looked good and the staff at the deli was also very friendly.

Considered to be the best casino up in Blackhawk and Central City it simply is. We have been to many of the casinos up in that area in Century casino is by far the best. They carry many new slots they do a great job of giving out free drinks on a regular basis. They also have a very clean atmosphere and are always having some sort of drawing. We try to make it up every time we were in the area.

I had a wonderful time. I loved the bar tender. He was wonderful and nice. They employees were sweet. It was quite.

The staff were absolutely fantastic and very helpful from check in to check out. The room was very neat and tidy and the bathrooms were spacious and well equipped with extras in case you forget the basics. The casino was very colorful and fun. The entire town holds a very lovely atmosphere!

Under the age of 21 years are not allowed, I was allowed to stay because the reservation was paid. The restaurant is very good and the lady who greeted us was very friendly, although everything was very good and all the employees are friendly, I hope to return soon.

Went for Fathers day brunch. The staff was very nice and took very good care of us. Waiter probably could work for a really fancy restraunt. Good choice on salad bar and soup or can order off menu. And minors can eat here. Free parking in garage.

We had taken an historical tour of Central City and were hungry after all the walking around. We stopped here and walked through the casino to get to the restaurant… I remarked to my girlfriend that we could stay and play some blackjack after lunch. It's not necessarily the casino's fault, but every customer we saw in the casino section looked fat or old or both, or like they had some sort of medical condition, or maybe like they were on their last dollar… it's not meant to be an indictment, but I felt sorry for them and wished I hadn't had to walk through this particular gauntlet just to get to the restaurant. I just wondered why I didn't see even one young, good-looking, in-shape, well-to-do person here besides ourselves. When we got to the restaurant itself, an old biker guy in full leathers was looking at the sign that proudly advertised prime rib for $6.99 (I think it was $6.99, something like that). My girlfriend said "Look! They have prime rib for only $6.99" and I said "Dear, you're not going to get good prime rib anywhere for only $6.99". The biker dude turned around and started laughing, his toothless grin telling a story of rough days and toothbrushless nights. I asked the hostess "How's the food here? " and she proclaimed "We've got the best prime rib in the house! " I innocently asked "Well, how many other places are selling prime rib in this particular house? " and she blushed and paused and I could see her gears turning before she then said "Oops, good point.

Very good I had a lot of fun with my husband and my friends!

Stayed at the hotel, room was clean and large with 2 queen beds. We did a late checkin at 11:30 pm and the staff we’re very friendly and made the process very smooth. Beds were comfortable and sheets were clean with 4 pillows for each bed. Restroom was clean and had shampoo, soap, and lotion available. Beautiful views of the area from the room. Private elevator for guests to their room, had to use key card to go to guest floor levels. Will stay here again.

Very bad does not give you anything or the free game grip.

Love the restaurant, The Grill. Food, Prime Rib is our favorite from here, is always good, and the salad bar usually has a good selection for being so small. The casino sometimes feels crowded depending on the arrangements of the slots. Do wish they would update their slots more, and of course loosen them up a little! :) Always have fun here, some of the customer service people are always snappy and seemed bothered by having to help you, but still enjoy! Don't have a clue where the actual hotel is located, and wonder what their rooms would be like. The POPCORN, located in only one area (need some more) is always good, and no matter if we have just eaten, still have to grab a bag of popcorn. I would say improvement to their players club, correcting some customer service issues, and small touches in slots, would easily bring this to a 5.

Seems like the drive from Aurora is a little too far when you only have a $100 to play with it goes way too fast then your stuck driving another hour and ten minutes home bummed out you blew your last $100 and didn't even win a single penny I know $100 isn't much but it's all I had alright enough about being a sore loser place is awesome always good times if you like slots to Texas holdem this is the spot to be plus if you've never been before they give you a new players Card and every few points you get on the card you get $5 so I think my first time I got $50 free from them to play on the slots which I ended up winning $300 so I was happy! Well anywho place is great plus they have a great prime rib deal for super cheap if your into that kind of thing! Has one of the coolest cashiers. I call him my good luck charm. Drinks served quickly, and variety of machines old and new. I love the virtual blackjack and roulette.

While the service was good and the staff were friendly and helpful I was not impressed by the BJ table we visited. It was my wife's first time playing a table game and instead of a inviting dealer who should be trying to get new players to their table, my wife felt very unwelcome. It didn't help that the other lady playing at the table got snarky and raised her voice at my wife. I wasn't happy at all with that. Other then that our stay was nice but I don't think I'll recommend those tables, especially if you're trying to learn.

I only stopped for a short while to play in the casino. Overall it was pretty decent. Not busy at all. Staff were friendly but it was weird they made you wear a wrist band to prove you were 21 and allowed to be there.

Staff is friendly a little awkward but was good service. Food was surprisingly very good! It’s good food for the money. Will be coming back in the future.

This is the old Central City, not the same when I was young but it is now a place for gambling and or eating or you can walk around Central City to view the old buildings of 1800's. They have an old grave yard when you drive up more through Central City town neighborhood and people were able to walk around the old graveyards about two years ago but when I went up there recently, I notice it was gated up, doesn't seem you can do it anymore.

Clean friendly casino. Good snack bar and restaurant. I've been eating at this casino for years. Although the food in the restaurant is good it use to be great. One of the most helpful and friendly staffs on the mountain.

I would give them 5 stars if some of the deli staff could figure out a simple order. If Chase and the guys aren't cooking the food, dont bother. Get some tasty grub from the always awesome kitchen staff at the restaurant.

We have pretty much just started counting on service not being the best for about 6 months now. Can't beat the prices and the food is good though.

Prime rib was absolutely delicious at the restaurant downstairs. And played some table games at the casino where the attendants were very helpful giving me a crash course in the games rules! Table staff was super nice and welcoming!

Very nice room. Friendly staff. Only ask not to be near elevators, you can hear them running up and down and the music they played was a little loud.

I went to eat. And gamble a lil bit. You get a century players card, you can get a prime rib dinner for like $7.99. And it's actually pretty tasty. Comes with vegetables and a baked potato or wild rice. I wouldn't usually equate 7.99 with a good steak dinner, but this was. Of course it's not like a steakhouse, but probably a better meal than a lot of others for 7.99. Also, if it's your first time using your players card, you get $5 credit to machines after spending 10 points (1 point/dollar) on slots and 2 per on something else. It was pretty good.

This place was great. My dad and I had a fantastic time at the craps table. The dealers were awesome. It was only my second time to play, and they were incredibly helpful as I learned how to play. My dad loved it, he wants to go back tomorrow!

Made a quick stop. Small casino with mainly slots. Limited table and e-dealer games. Like that it was smoke free. Slot options are dated. Looked like a lot of older machines. Did not try food or bar. Parking was easy. Nice short stop destination.

The good; clean, beds were not horrible (comfy enough for a hotel bed), prime rib dinner for under $8 The bad; be prepared to wait forever to even get asked if you want a drink while gambling. We gambled from 7pm-12am Saturday AND 11am-1230pm without getting asked once. After dropping hundreds of dollars there it was very disappointing! The staff wasn't friendly. There was one lady that checked us in that was very, very nice & friendly. That's it. From people guarding the doors stoney non-friendly stares; no greeting, to waitstaff in the restaurant not clearing dishes after walking by 5 or 6 different times to dealers being condescending to people on the table for not playing hands the way the dealer tells them to; making people feel stupid if they lose.

This place is awesome! Liz is the best host ever! If you need ANYTHING let the staff know, they do anything they can to make your stay great!

Great Casino, very friendly staff, lots of gaming variety. Plenty of parking too. Right on Main Street so access to everything (albeit not much left) Central City has left to offer.

The casino was decent. The staff was very friendly. They have a decent amount of games. Signage could have been a little bether. Did not realize they had more than one floor until we left.

This review is solo on restaurant that being said everyone needs to try it for 9 dollars you'll get the best meal possible in central city! Just delicious and just enough. I didn't gamble didn't look like much fun but they had a wing fest going on outside that was cool!

Middling casino. Had to get our own drinks twice because the only waitress working was very busy. The dealers were friendly and helpful as well as the pit boss. They did not disclose, however, that you don't earn rewards points for table games. Clean in general and free popcorn.

The service was good even tho we had a wait in the cafe. Evidently they had had a busy afternoon, but at that time the restuarant was nearly empty. They had run out of some menu items, but it didn't affect us. Everyone was really cordial and friendly and did all they could to make us happy. The food was great and well served. The only real down thing was that the atmosphere was really subdued, I suppose due to the scarcity of people and the slot machines weren't very fun or interesting.

Not the place to gamble. If you like table games stay away from here. I was here playing roulette and doing fairly well. I got paid out with a value chip as portion of my winning. I did not move the chip was on top of my stack directly in front of me. I needed a break and was going to go outside and my chip was gone. I asked the gentleman to check around or did he see what happened so we looked around and nothing. He supposedly called into the camera people who said that they didn't even see me get a black Chip. Well that's crazy enough because the Pit Boss even said it verbally whenever they were giving it to me. I asked him who else I could talk to and he said there is no one else that's part of the gaming commission and they are very well trained. Nothing further was going to be done by then so now I am looking into contacting the gaming Commission.

Players club staff very helpful and great. For staff seemed to be lacking. Many sat with players having long conversations blocking machines. Some machines went a long time needing service. Hotel was clean.

Wow I am pleasantly surprised how great the staff here treat guest/visitors. Erica was so welcoming and friendly, I will stop at this casino each time I come up the hill.

I was there on a Friday night with some friends playing craps and the staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were just standard hotel rooms but very clean and had a fairly modern feel to them. The prices were also some of the best in town… I will definitely be back, very soon!

They have very nice rooms at good rates. All the rooms are easily accessible from the casino. They have lots of slots and a few table games. It is in walking distance of great food too. The casino floor is staffed well and you get regularly sized drinks in a timely manner.

Very good atmosphere and good food.

I had a fairly good time there. Was there for a conference and then stayed the night. Staff was helpful with most questions. My only problem was that some of the staff seemed to be a little judgemental when I was talking to them and did not seem to be happy or willing to deal with me. But other than that it was pretty good. The rooms were very nice.

Mid City Grill — Just visited there and decided to eat there for dinner about 8:00pm. It was amazing service! The waitress was so sweet. I don't remember her name but what great service! You could definitely tell she liked her job. We really enjoyed the food as well! We also went back for breakfast the next morning and food was just as good. The waitress was someone else and didn't seem as happy. Only complaint is the slots didn't really pay out very well. But will definitely go back for food. Hopefully we will get the same waitress.

Had read a lot of reviews before going, and picked this from the positive reviews. Being retired I have been to 3 casinos in the Midwest. I did not go to play table games, nor did I go to stay in the hotel. I wanted to have fun at the slots. I expected bonus wins and free games as a matter of policy to get you to continue to play longer. Forget it. Very few free games, not worth mentioning it. Spent $800 on 12 different machines. Won nothing. Not even a bonus or a free spin. Upon leaving I looked at the people's faces who were also leaving. Saw that funeral stare, like they had just lost their house. Nobody was smiling, nobody showed they had fun. Some people sitting in parking garage totally silent. If you go there eat their food or stay in hotel, something has to be good there. If you want to go to a funeral, play the slots.

We always like to come here for dinner after work. Great prices and wonderful service.

It's an OK casino. I don't hardly win on their video poker machines as I do in other casinos and subsequently I quit playing them there as much a while ago. Overall 3 stars because the entrance to the parking garage kind of sucks no matter what way you try to go in. It's too narrow. Also because of it's size, location, interior decorating etc. It's like the old $5 dollar days at Central City there still.

Rooms were fine. Didn't find the staff to be very friendly… Food was adequate, nothing special…

Today I entered into centry casino's beating the heat at 8.5k feet hot wing eating contest… I didnt win but it was alot of fun.

Central Casino was an amazing experience. I've been to many casinos in Blackhawk and in Central City and this is one of the best casinos out there. First time members, membership is free, can earn up to $20 to use to play games and a free prime rib meal. These all require you to reach point levels, but are attainable. The prime rib dinner is 150 points and every Tuesday you and earn one. At 300 points you earn the full $20. There are point increments to get $5 and $10, though I don't remember what those were. We went on a Tuesday, it was our first time, and the casino was fairly empty. We saw a server twice durning our 5 hours there, but I don't blame that on service, we were moving around the casino quite a bit. This was the first casino I had been to where all the drunks were free just for being there to play. At any time we could have gone to the bar to get alcoholic drinks. They had free popcorn and quite a few areas to get other self-service drinks as well. All of the staff was very friendly. When I go again, this will most likely be the only casino I go to.
