DO NOT STAY HERE! Extremely HOMOPHOBIC! My fiancé and I decided to get married in Denver so being that we’ve stayed at “Tru” in the past, we decided to book here. We booked 2 days considering we were driving in from SOUTH PADRE ISLAND Tx (18 hours). We drove STRAIGHT THROUGH and arrived at about 5 am on the morning of our second day we had booked. UVUA greeted my fiancé with disgust and did not allow us to check in on the morning of our wedding. My NOW wife is a disabled veteran and returned to the car in tears. I called and the disrespect and demeanor of UVUA was deplorable to say the least. She denied our check in and the hotel marked us as a “no show” and has refused a refund. AFTER charging our card a 55$ security deposit. We had to get ready for our WEDDING in a public bathroom after losing out on almost 500 due to the lack of professionalism of TRU. UVUA needs to find a new job because customer service is not it. This is a homophobic establishment and I urge you not to stay here.

The TV did not work, and I was told to unplug it and plug it back in. Yet it’s mounted to the wall with the plug behind it. The toilet seat was broken. Told the manager, lance I believe was his name. Spent the day out. Came back picked up the toilet seat, and it fell off, and the TV still didn’t work. Took the toilet seat down to the front desk. Once again lance was manager. He inspected the toilet seat, and came to the conclusion it was ripped off. Needless to say, I did not rip it off. By the time we checked out it was still not fixed nor was tv. Lance didn’t seem to care, and was put off. I would hope that a general manager would reach out to me. I would recommend this time you find somewhere else to stay in Denver.
