Super cute place! We would definitely stay here again. Clean rooms, kitchenette, dog friendly rooms and free breakfast daily. The family who runs the place is also super friendly and welcoming. Also very close proximity to all things fun and adventurous in Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs. We will be back!

The pictures looked amazing when we made our booking but when we finally arrived to our location we were shocked. There was trash everywhere outside, the pool did not look clean, the outside of the rooms looked ran down and the staff was no where to be seen at the front office when we arrived. We ended up canceling our stay last minute and payed a little more for one of the other motels in the area. My suggestion, pay a little more for the hotel and don’t waste your time or money at this place.

This place is beyond racist! My husband and I came there this morning looking for a room after driving 11 hours. Before my husband could even go inside the office. The owner ran out side and asked him what could he do for him. When my husband said he was looking for a room he said he was all booked up. He clearly had his vacancy light on. That was so extremely rude. We are paying customers just like anybody else but I wouldn't even want to stay there after that. The owner down the street at Manitou inn and Suites treated us way better.

Absolutley loved this place. The owners were so unbelievably friendly and helpful to us. We loved our cabin on the end. 3 beds. Private porch leading to the pool. Unfortunately there was road construction going on directly beside the pool and hotel but that was not their fault. Beautiful views. We did not check out breakfast because we loved our room and the close proximity to all sorts of fun restaurants around the immediate area. The kids already want to come back. We had to leave a day early due to a family emergency though and couldn't get a credit for our last night. That was the only bummer or negative. We had fans in our rooms, comfy beds. Chairs tables. Everything we needed except for a coffee pot and coffee. Bring your own toiletries if your hair is picky.

Loved the suit above the office. Very friendly people to deal with. Too bad about all the road construction out front.

Clean and cozy rooms. Service was great, pool was nice and the continental breakfast wasn't bad either. Would definitely stay at this location again! Also, would recommend this place to anyone!

I was in a panic because I was getting turned away from so many hotels because I had to bring my dog unexpectedly on our trip and no one would let us stay because of her. She's a 65 pound dog and has pitbull in her. I called the Rainbow lodge and they accepted us with open arms and even have rooms specifically for guests with animals. When we checked in the room did not smell like animals have been here and it was so clean! It is right down the street from Colorado city, Garden of the Gods and Manitou Springs (must visit! ). Anywhere you want to go is close by and hardly no traffic. Except the road construction in front of the hotel. The people running this place are so nice and accommodating. It's an older hotel but truely a diamond in the rough! I am an avid review reader and this place sold me. Do not pass it up!

We stay here everytime we visit the Springs. Great rooms, with great prices.

Perfect location when visiting Colorado Springs. Everything is less than 5 miles away and easily accessible. Food is less than a mile away.

Cozy! All 1 level, quiet and very clean. I'll stay there again.

Am here as I post this,, amazing. City is doing construction on the roadway but that's just temp. And for the better! Had a resent loss in our family and this trip is on she set up for all of us but sadly she isnt here with us in body but totally in soul! Terrible experience. Little to heat (1st of Jan). No hot water. No where to accomadate my service animal. Photos on line did not represent actual settings and accommodations. Will not stay at again. Really wanted a good experience for my young son. Very disappointing!

We are currently staying and have been here a couple of days. I thought the staff had been helpful, we haven't really asked for much though. We got a suite with a kitchenette and it is a great room. I like being able to cook (I have found pretty much everything I have needed — there is no oven which I expected since I haven't been in a hotel that had one in a room. ) I think the water pressure is great in our shower, room looks great, nothing broken. Wish there was more variety for breakfast but can't compain really since it is included. This is our 5th place we have stayed on our trip and I would honestly say it is one of the best ones for the price. It is near everything we want to do.

Drove through looking for a room for it if town guests and it seemed like a cute little place. The office was closed, so I only saw it from the outside and didn't get any info on pricing.

Nice, clean plays. Old but so much attention to the details. Very comfy beds. Will stay here again.

The Rainbow Motel is not like your typical trashy motel that you stay at when you're out traveling and trying to save a couple bucks, but your new home away from home! The place is very cozy, and is run by a family that truly cares about you and your stay. The motel is nestled in the perfect location, neighboring Garden of the Gods, and directly at the base of Pikes Peak.

We stayed in the suit upstairs and it was great! We had 7 adults for 6 days and space for all of us! Kitchen was fully stocked with cooking and eating needs. Super friendly staff. Can't wait to come back and check out the remodeled patio! Thanks Obama!

I loved this place. Quaint and charming, great location. I loved that they had a grill we could cook on, though I feel it should be replaced with a new one. It seemed quite old, the lid was about ready to fall off, and my husband got a burn from it. I did notice that they seemed to be working on fixing the wood stove they had, hopefully that's up and running soon, I would have loved to use it. I thought it was great that they had cappuccino at breakfast (and quick word, the cups are on the wall by the machine, almost everyone that went in at breakfast was looking for them on the counter). Our minifridge wasn't working, but I notified management and I'm confident they will get that taken care of. All in all, I enjoyed our stay, and I'd love to go back if we visit Colorado again.

We stayed here for our 3yr anniversary. We stayed in the off month's so the price was cheap. We got room 32! King size bed fit for royalty. I was very impressed with the room. I felt like a princess. And the outside is very cute. Customer service could have been a little better.

Like others on here we had booking issues. We reserved and paid for the cabin but when we arrived she told us something was wrong with the cabin and gave our group of 6 adults and 2 children 2 separate rooms a few doors down from each other. We also brought food to cook on our own in the kitchen we were supposed to have bit couldn't since we only hado access to a mini fridge and microwave. Very sketchy and outdated. They refused to offer any kind of discount and instead said "how am I supposed to pay my mortgage". Very ubprofessional, dirty feeling, and had it not been memorial day weekend we would have went else where but everything was booked. They could have at least called us to let us know they booked out the cabin we had reserved.

We stayed in a cabin for a week in July. We were told they had Wi-Fi but couldn't get it to work. I asked the female about it and she said hers doesn't work either. Her sons does for some reason though. So if you plan to work on a trip this is not the place to stay. Housekeeping was non-existent. If we saw them they would ask if we needed towels but that is it. And by the end we had a mountain of towels in the bathroom. And the plumbing has lots of issues but I don't think that is uncommon in Colorado. The shower wouldn't drain and would be over your feet. The sink did the same but I got that figured out. They were great though with my little dogs. And the pool was a lot of fun for the kids. If it had been priced appropriate to the condition it would have been easier to deal with.

Spiders, snakes, Great White sharks, Rainbow Lodge, All things to stay away from! This POS place gave my in-laws room away and RUINED THIER HONEYMOON! DO NOT BOOK HERE, even if you do, don't expect the room to still be there. This place is the worst. No stars if I could.

Nice room, friendly employees, but parking is an issue, no security to keep noise down after 10 PM, no Wi-Fi in room as advertised, when asked owner about it nothing was done or offered.

Even though you can tell it's an older place, and it doesn't look like a five star hotel from the outside, don't let those things keep you from staying here. This place is run by a family and they are very kind and courteous, willing to help you with absolutely anything you need. We had a king bed room, and when we walked in we were pleasantly surprised. Everything was so clean and updated. There were wood floors, new tile in the bathroom, a pretty bed set, a kitchenette with a full fridge, and a flat screen TV with satellite. It was our favorite place to stay in colorado springs on a budget… it's definitely a great deal!

My boyfriend and I made a reservation for the king size room with a kitchen (Non-Smoking) as advertised on their website. However, upon arrival we were given a regular king sized room with outdated furniture, that smelled like cigarette smoke, and that was ice cold. The bathroom was also low on toilet paper. When the manager was confronted, they only offered a slight discount ($10), and he acted like it was a simple mistake. After driving all day with a car full of food we expected to cook, we were not pleased with the way this was handled. Not only were we assigned the incorrect room, but the room we were given fell below all expectations. I would not recommend staying here as what is advertised on there website is not what you get. The positives about this motel is the location, and that they have Wi-Fi (slow). I suppose we got what we paid for. Will not be returning.
