Clean, no frills option. Friendly staff and everything works fine. Small things like the plumbing (shower temp hard to zero in on), no shampoo, but it is warm and clean! I paid an extra $10 for my 65lb dog to come as well.

We were stopping in for the night on our way through town. Arrived about 10pm and passed out, I woke up to being bit by "somethings" similar to a mosquito bite. There were BED BUGS CRAWLING on my arm all over the sheets they were everywhere. I squished a few to make sure what I was seeing was real and they were full of blood. I had to wake my kids up and we had to shake everything out and leave somethings behind. We had to sit in our car at 1Am and try to figure out what we were going to do and the owner locked the office and was gone. We finally found a room 30 min back south were we had to spend our vacation time dealing and freaking out about all this. When we called the owners wife would do nothing for us and refused to refund our money. We stayed in the first room 101. It was a very clean room so be careful and check the mattresses first. Good luck to anyone that stays here.

I'm giving this place 4 stars for a few reasons. The bed was really comfy and had cute sheets. They had wood panel walls which I personally like and fits with the mountain feel of willits and it was quiet at night when I was sleeping. The price was cheap also. The only thing I didn't like was the door to the bathroom would not slide closed all the way and that annoyed me.

Shelter From a storm is the best thing I can say about it. Looks like an Alfred Hithcock setting. Dark wood paneling, peeling fiberboard furniture. No water pressure, microwave and heater did not work. We slept on top of the sheets.

The room was listed as being recently renovated but everything looks original from when the hotel was built. The toilet refused to flush properly, the AC unit was in the closet, the bed was very noisy and there was a dead frog stuck in the doorway. That being said, it wasn't entirely uncomfortabl. The location was great and the staff was friendly, and overall it was affordable and a decent place to stay the night.
