It's very comfortable warm quiet big.

Stayed at Baechtel for 4 days. Four beautiful relaxing days in my first trip ever to the West Coast. The staff was amazing. From check in to check out they went above and beyond amd made my visit even nicer. The hotel is spotless clean. The breakfast is delicsh always full hot and fresh. The hot tub was a perfect treat to end a long day. Thank you BCI Chris Laura Mike for making my first west coast exp. The best. See you soon.

Pros: close to creek, beautiful location, provides breakfast, soft towels, decent beds. Cons: dirty pillow, unreliable fridge, hot/cold water labels reversed in shower, and oj tasted moldy at breakfast. Probably better than other hotels in the area, but not as good as others.

This hotel is advertised as a full service spa with a sauna. Don’t be fooled. There is no full service spa or sauna here. There is a pool and a hot tub but don’t expect anything more than that. Upon contacting the hotel manager to let her know that her ad was incorrect and misleading, she blamed it on Priceline and then claimed that it was Priceline’s fault and that she was not responsible for entering the misleading information. I then called Priceline and they said that what she claimed was false and that every hotel enters and edits their own information. I requested a discount for the false ad and the owner refused my request and was still blaming Priceline. Now the ad is changed. Proving She lied and clearly knew that she was giving deceiving information. She later offered a discount after I let her know I was leaving this review.

My experience here was terrible. We booked a room two weeks out. We were traveling with our dog. Here is a little back story before check in. The day we traveled it was 104 degrees going through California and our ac broke. Normally it wouldn't be a problem but we had our dog with us and that was a big issue with the heat. We got to the hotel and the lady at the desk pulled up our reservation. They did not reserve a pet room for us. They had two vacant pet rooms but the system flagged them so they couldn't let us stay in one. Another man walked up to the counter, the lady explained what happened and he said that the same thing happened the day before. They sent us away to go find a room at another hotel. After driving for eight hours I asked if my dog and partner could stay in the lobby while I drove down the street to another hotel. The lady behind the counter agreed. When I came back a couple minutes later my partner and dog were sitting under a tree at the fast food place down the street. Apparently the owner came in and kicked my partner and dog out of the lobby in 100 degree heat because my well behaved dog was big and "scaring" other customers. We ended up having to drive to a town twenty miles away to find a hotel that would allow us and our dog for the evening.

Lovely off the street setting. Grounds and landscaping are immaculate. Pool area is fenced and surrounded by bushes, roses and trees. Very pet friendly.

Pretty good Hotel. Everything was pretty moderate. The price and the location would keep me from staying again.

Service was nice. Location was good near food. Rooms were clean and nice but the ac was broken and it was HOT!

I don’t stay here. But 9 of my friends do. And they say the internet is very spotty and slow. Week after week results are in. Don’t stay here if you Netflix, stream, email, or upload iForm daily after conducting plant monitoring.

Just WOW… and not in a good way! Bathroom towels are generally white but the towels here are dingy grey, hot water comes out brown, provided bar soap resembles a certin Pine product fom Sol. Old timey bed that squekes so much it reminded me of my 20s, and I was on a solo trip… getto closet with a curtain for a door. Broken/smashed electrical sockets. Breakfast was scrambled fake eggs and I could not believe it microwaved toquitos. Sp and to top it off the toaster toasts 1 side and burns it… But my mama said always say something good, so if you show up at night this 2 looks like a 10.

Georgian/Adam Colonial style like New England. Built 1991?. Best access of all Willits hotels.

I've stayed at Baechtel Creek numerous times but I will NEVER stay here again! Booked the dog friendly room. Only lukewarm water in the shower, can't get hot water except for in the sink! Blow dryer not working after tepid shower. Let management know, they did nothing to compensate or fix! Had booked foe 2 nights. Second day, housekeeping made the beds, brought new towels. However, no clean coffee cups or coffee supplies. In fact, the wrapper debris from the previous morning were left on the bathroom counter. Front desk person said they only clean this and bring new supplies if requested! Really? Breakfast on sunday morning was beef taquitos and French fries!

Beautiful rooms, friendly staff and beautiful area of California to explore!

After staying at the Super 8 in Willets the night before, and having a very expensive 100% wool black pea coat stolen from our room, this was a breath of fresh air. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were tasteful and did not feel cramped, and the shampoos, conditioners, and soap were high quality and a delight to use. The beds were comfortable. The hot breakfast was nothing to write hone about, but was good, as was the coffee and the variety of organic teas were a nice touch. You will pay a little more, but it is worth it.

Decent and clean but overpriced for the amenities and lack of customer service. Wi-Fi didn't work, when it was called to the staff's attention they made no effort to fix it. Shower curtain was torn and the toilet ran. I asked for the toilet to be addressed over the course of my three day stay and it was not addressed. One of the housekeeping staff attempted to let themselves into my room at about 6 pm while I called out and scrambled to get clothes on. The facility is not worth the price and the staff made it a poor experience.

Shady business practices. Looked on my bank statement to find out a charge of $250. When I called the hotel they said oh ya there was a fee for damages. They said they smelt smoke in the room and charged my debit card. I explained that no one was smoking in our room. Employee said she will let her boss know but she can’t do anything. Still waiting to hear back.

Stayed here the day of fire 10/9/17after I fled my home in Redwood valley, stayed up all night in our van waiting for hwy 101 to open, but it never did. So we went to baechtel creek inn we were only for an hour and decided to leave because we were so scared! There was no phone or internet and it was raining ashes, there parking lot cleared out … taco bell closed. The lady at the front desk was very nice and understanding, she said they would only charge us about $40.00. I get my credit card bill and they charged me full price 155.00. I called when I got my bill and they said they would call me back, they never did. I had to call and talk to a really rude manager that said basically too bad! Wow you guys really know how to take care of your community in a disaster. How Rotten can you be! Don't ever stay here.

This is not a dog friendly place. My wife and I reserved a room and it said dog friendly. When we got there they said they only have 2 dog friendly rooms both booked. They refused to let us stay there and would not refund the room charge. Total rip off. Terrible service. And the parking lot was empty except for one car.

Does not have local channels nor is the wake up calls consistent. Set your own alarm to ensure getting up on time.

We loved this Inn! We were there mid Sept. Reading some negative reviews and can't imagine what they were talking about. We were there for five days and loved it. Our room was spacious, spotless clean. Huge fluffy towels, comfy pillows, breakfast was great. The coffee was absolutely delicious. We were greeted by a great staff. They were helpful with directions and advice. Our expectations were met. No complaints. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks Jan for your great hospitality.

This is a fairly large property but staffs itself like there are only 10 rooms. I called the hotel a couple of days before arrival to confirm our reservation and apparently interrupted something because I was abruptly told to call back in a couple of hours. After we got there we asked for extra pillows and the girl at the front desk informed us she was alone and it would have to wait until she had someone else there. After 2 follow up calls on my mobile (because our phone in our room didn't work) and 4 hours later, when we were in bed, we got them. Also, they claim to be pet friendly but everything about it screams don't bring your dog here. The pet friendly rooms are concrete… which is fine… but they left my feet black after being there for only 30 minutes. They also ask you to take your dog to the empty field across the street but they don't tell you it's full of stickers I had to pull from my pups feet and the bottoms of my shoes. The complimentary breakfast that starts at 6:30 started late because the man I'm assuming is the owner arrived late to set it up. I even heard him telling a lady with a service dog she couldn't have the dog with her in the lobby, even after she pointed out that it was a service dog. They must have more guests than they know what to do with because they certainly didn't make me want to come back.

We enjoyed everything about our stay! we were there 3 days, the room was very large, clean, and quiet. It could have used a new coat of paint. We were pleased that they recycle!

Clean, comfortable and very relaxing. Furniture in room is a little dated, but in good condition. Front desk was extremely helpful and made excellent dinner recommendations in a local, upscale restaurants called Adams. We will definitely come back again!

Fantastic place to stay. Stayed for one night, briefly met the owner, she was very nice. Breakfast food was good too! Only downside was a small ant problem, which they were aware of and in the middle of solving. Would recommend and stay again.

This hotel is very clean, beds are very comfortable, staff is extremely friendly. The only suggestions I have are, the exterior lighting seems to all be new LED which is very bright and adds safety, the problem is the interior of the rooms have the same bulbs so it's TOO darn bright, a small lamp on the bedside with a incandescent lamp would have been nice! Also the bathtub backed up during my showers!

Baechtel Creek Inn is a great place to stay. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, the foods tastes really good, the rooms were cute and spacious, the beds are very comfortable, and it's an overall great place to stay. If you are ever in Willits I suggest you stay there.

I have a family of five, two adults and three younger kids. We had our small dog so reserved a pet room (131). It was nice and clean. The pet friendly rooms are without carpet which alleviates a lot of anxiety. The pool was on the small side but the kids loved it anyway, just definitely don't dive. The continental breakfast was great. Usually these things can be pretty terrible but we all found something we liked. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Clean facility, decent breakfast, beds were ok, prices seemed steep for area and compared to other hotels.

I stayed at the Baechtel Creek Inn with my friends and we loved it. The food tasted great, the staff was very nice an welcoming, the pool and hot tub were nice, and the creek next to the hotel was beatiful. It was an overall great stay, I highly recommend it.

Love that we are off the road, that we strive for best in customer service and that we take seriously our guest's point of view!

Stopped in for a night when passing through on our way to the Redwoods. Appeared to be the nicest place in town that we saw. Very friendly, helpful staff. We stayed in a pet friendly room which was simple but clean (no carpet). Decent continental breakfast too.

Nice clean and comfortable breakfast was a delicious bonus.

Me and my husband stayed here last weekend and all I can say is AMAZING! A young woman named Jessica welcomed us with a huge smile and was friendly and welcoming from start to finish, she even went out of her way to not only tell us the good restaurants in town for dinner but also looked up their phone numbers and gave us directions, all with a smile! The room we got was beautiful and clean to even my grandmothers standards! Delicious breakfast and fast, friendly check out. Would recommend this property to anyone passing thru Willits or looking for a good vacation in the heart of the redwoods!

Very nice rooms, clean and quiet. Full breakfast in lobby. Best part for me was the massage from Sue in the spa. She is extremely competent and gave me the best massage I have ever had, and I am a massage therapist also. Worth the stay for Sue alone!

Okay, not much of a view out the front window and sometimes people can cause a stir in the middle of the night as they wonder from Taco Bell or McDonalds just up the drive. The rooms are small and while the rooms are "updated" and you do have internet Wi-Fi I would not compare them to a modern hotel. It's obvious they have updated an older motel. I do like the breakfast. Again, small but better than what I've gotten at a new Hyatt or Holiday Inn Express. I recommend a room on the 2nd floor and further away from the front desk as possible. The staff is very friendly. I do not partake in the spa options. I just stay for the night or two for my work that has a project in the area. It is either Baechtel Creek or Bestwestern or local mom-n-pop motels. The breakfast opens at 6:30 am. No other amenities like vending machines or ice or snacks so if you get the munchies go down the drive to McDonalds or Taco Bell or jump in the car and hit Safeway. I sometimes grab food from Safeway if I stay several days. The rooms have a microwave and fridge.

Love this place, when up in Mendocino Wine Country it's the perfect little get away. Great staff and the rooms are spacious, clean and quite. Best surprise on the trip was the incredible breakfast! Lots of tasty bites!

Charming lnn! Welcoming, clean with really comfortable bedding and incredibly helpful staff. Great location for wine tasting around Mendocino country we were directed to several local gems. The stand out though is the spa! What a treat to find such amazing therapists and wonderful treatments. Unexpected but one of the highlights of our stay. Thank you for such a lovely experience. Can't wait to return!

We spent three nights at the Baechtel Creek Inn and enjoyed a relaxing stay. The bed was very comfortable and the room was immaculate, cozy and quiet, which made for a pleasant night's sleep. The breakfast items were tasty and plentiful, and the staff members were warm, personable and very accommodating. We will book a return visit, the next time we are in Willits.

If I could choose a higher raiting for the service I would, very pleasant experience from beginning to check out. They provide better than a continental breakfast and the staff is very warm and friendly. Very clean rooms, nice to relax in the hot tub after a long day of driving — would definitely stay here again. Looks to be the best hotel in town.

The owners overcharged me and after I signed the paper I noticed. So I said oh wait, this is wrong. She said Nope its not see you signed it. "yes, but its wrong". She refused to correct the amount and I was over charged by $111.00. I handled the charge back with my credit card company. Also the massage therapists there have no working permits. This place is a joke.

My friend and I are on business trip, stayed here for the night on our way up to Covelo the next morning. The room is clean, and I like the bed; it's comfortable which is mainly my concern on a business trip because getting a good sleep is important. I would not normally write a review but I had to because this is the only place that we were not given what we requested at the time we registered. Granting we did not ask for a ground floor room when we made the reservation, our stay was on a Tuesday, in February; hardly a time when the hotel is full. The lot was empty when we arrived but we were told it will be a hardship for them to give us rooms on the ground floor because they were fixing the rooms, and switching rooms around will be inconvenient. I think that is poor planning on their part. We like the ground rooms so as not to drag our stuff up the stairs. We stayed in 4 different hotels this week and we were given the rooms we requested except in this hotel. An hour after settling down, the front desk called to ask if there is anything we want. I am not about to tell them what I want because they did not give us the room that we wanted in the first place.

I am a former employee this place, and I really have some things to let you all know. Disgusting rooms, not a real spa, no creek to look at, health hazards, overpriced, McDonalds is your view. They seriously rip people off. I actually had to leave this job because I couldn't be a part of such a corrupt place. The rooms are all very old containing furniture that has been around for a long long time. The microwaves and coffee pots are ancient and hardly work. Many people have complained and asked for a discount (which NEVER happens) because their A/C unit was so loud they were kept up all night long and had a horrible time. (I had this complaint at least once per week). The housekeeping doesn't do a quality job at all. I often had guest coming into the lobby and telling me of the weird and dirty things they found. The kitchen in the back is a health hazard. I personally wouldn't touch let alone eat ANYTHING from that place. There is crust all over everything and here's one example, the lemon slices that are in the water that's served, are from a lemon that after it gets cut is put back into their personal fridge and left for the next day. In this fridge where the lemon sits is crusty meat and butter and other weird things. It's the same with the watermelon they serve, it's cut on a dirty cutting board by someone who hasn't washed their hands, and then is put back into the fridge uncovered and left for the next cut.
