Family and dog friendly in a hip, yet cozy atmosphere. Cannot beat ski-in, ski-out location. Food is excellent too!

I enjoyed my stay very much! The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The accommodations were great. The room was super cute and nice. Ther included breakfast was delicious. Also the hotel is located directly across from a small shopping square.

Really enjoyed Plump Jack. We had a 1 bedroom suite. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of pillows. The living room part of our suite was very nice, I really enjoyed the chaise lounge style chair it was very comfortable. A little bigger frig would have been nice but it worked out. My daughter really liked the bath robes. The grounds were well maintained and very nice. One thing I also enjoyed was there was small out of the way sitting areas. The breakfast was delicious and very fresh. No powdered eggs for the Plump Jack but fresh eggs were used for the scrambled eggs. The Granola was also homemade and delicious also. I would safely say it was the best breakfast I have had at a hotel. My wife and I daughter both ordered a burger and fries from room service and no surprise they both enjoyed the burger but the garlic fries were a big hit. The price I felt was reasonably for the quality and also the area. Last but not least was the staff, they definitely made our stay enjoyable. They were very friendly and helpful. My wife was sitting outside enjoying the pool side and a employee offered and brought her a nice cold glass of water. I have never had that experience at a Marriott, and I am a big Marriott fan. Definitely recommend staying at the Plump Jack.

Ate lunch on the patio. They let us bring in our dog, which was nice. I had a pizza, which was really good. My girlfriend got the meatballs, which were huge! Also very good.

Beautiful! I can't explain the beauty of this resort. The food was amazing and staff very friendly and knowledgeable.

I think there are better places to stay in the valley if you can find vacancy, but PlumpJack isn't horrible as a second choice. The rooms have a weird layout, sort of a sterile feeling. But the breakfast in the morning is great. You can pay to go even if you're not a guest. Worth it.

Place was incredible, staff was 100%, we could not get up on Friday, they comped us our room, valet was great. We are switching from staying at the Lodge to Plumpjacks, now are 1st choice! John & Family.

We went for the breakfast buffet since we heard it was the only sit-down breakfast around. The buffet had a good variety of options and the dining area was cozy without being cramped.

Great customer service at the lobby, very friendly and professional. Rooms were nice, clean, and warm. Overall, very delighted with our stay and will definitely visit again.

The food and service at PlumpJack were wonderful! The cocktails and desserts were especially good, but I do wish they would've had more than one vegetarian entree option.

Quality food & beverage and the atmosphere is awesome! The bartenders are super friendly and make delicious drinks. A must-stop when visiting Squaw Valley USA!

Plumpjack never disappoints! We’ve stayed in the past, but just stopped in for dinner last night. The menu is inventive and thoughtful and. Even with serious dietary restrictions they worked with me and never made me feel like I was asking for too much. I will happily go back and it won’t be soon enough!

Visited Plumpjack after a late Spartan Ultra Beast finish. They were the only spot open at that time. However, that didn't mean the quality suffered. Quite the contrary, in fact. The food was delicious and exactly as ordered. Wait staff were on top of everything. Would definitely go back if I was in the area.

Elegant while rustic retreat in the hubbub of Squaw Valley. Serene in the off season, cozy during winter. Superb breakfast included in the rate. Service is befitting the 5 star rating of this lovely corner of the Valley.

Marion and Ilana worked tirelessly to make our wedding day flawless. The setting is gorgeous, unique, intimate and romantic which was exactly what we were trying to achieve. Our guests (and vendors! ) continue to rave about the beauty, food, and fun of our wedding weekend and this venue was pivotal in creating the amazing atmosphere that our so guest enjoyed. The venue's team did everything to accommodate our requests and changes during the wedding planning process, which was certainly challenging as my husband and I live across the country! I would highly recommend this venue to any couple!

Great location. Rooms are a bit dated, but the entire experience made it easy to look past the decor. The staff made my stay feel personalized to my needs.

I had my wedding here a week ago. Marion and Ilana have been communicative and professional the whole year of planning, and the reception was pulled off wonderfully. The food was delicious and the chef came up with specific dishes that we requested that weren't on the menu, like kimchi lettuce wraps and pierogi. The flow of service was perfect, and the patio area was a great size for fifty guests. We booked a honeymoon suite here and were surprised with a bottle of champagne and a sweet note from the wedding planners. I can't think of a single thing I would have wanted done differently. So grateful to the team here!

Plumpjack is one of my favorite places in Squaw Valley — whether it's for the special treat of a weekend stay or just some apres ski snacks. The staff is welcoming and attentive, the food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is perfect. If you're spending the night, the hot tub is amazing and the breakfast buffet is delicious. Also love how welcoming they are to our furry family member!

We had a fantastic meal in the PlumpJack bar today. Salmon & Short Ribs accompanied by well suited wines. Attentive service, great atmosphere and cosy environment for Apres Ski. We'll be regular visitors!

Great location and hotel, but the rooms were not as nice as I would have expected given everything else.

We've worked here as wedding planners and had dinner at the bar. Great beer selection and the burger is killer.
