We're back for another week of family visits and love to stay in this small hotel in South Lake Tahoe.
Located in a quiet neighborhood yet right on the 50 it is clean, has a very friendly staff and the rooms are comfy and have big tubs, soft beds and all necessities to hunker down in this snow storm today.

Affordable, clean, comfortable spot great for couples on a weekend in Tahoe. Our room had an oversized heart shaped jacuzzi tub — get over how cheesy that sounds because I assure you it's not. Big adjacent double shower, minifridge, micro… The place is not new but it has what you need and they take care of it. Highly recommend.

We stayed here for three nights and it was amazing. The location is perfect. Its settled nicely between stateline and the middle of town, within walking distance to the beach and a bunch of restaurants. The room was awesome, with an in room jacuzzi tub, and large showering area. The room we were in was really spacious and comfy! The manager Scott was super friendly and helpful! Would definitely stay here again.

Holy smokes this place treated us like royalty! We stayed over labor day weekend in a room. The first night was the bridal party so we could all work on the bouquets. And the second was the bride and groom. We called ahead and they allowed us to use thee house keeping fridge for the flowers. On top of that we were able to get a roll away bed and a ton of extra pillows and blankets to accommodate everyone. The room was cleaned while we were setting up the decorations for the wedding so when we came back to get dressed we were able to pack out our bridesmaids things and lay down the rose petals for the newlyweds that night. They offered to use some that they had and lay down the petals for us, but we had already previously bought some and had the time to do it. They were beyond accommodating and happy to help. It made the day before the wedding so relaxing to have a place work with us so well. Thank you guys!

Room was clean. Would not recommend to older people, since room has two-level floor and could lead to a fall in the night when going to the bathroom. Hallway had multiple carpet stains, likely due to winter skier traffic. Ceilings are low. Exterior looks pretty good. I didn't have any noise problems. I was delayed about two hours checking in due to inadequate staffing for room cleaning. There is only one person staffing the front desk. Basically, this is a low cost operation that does a pretty good job in spite of this and delivers decent value.

The location is within walking distance to the lake and many great restaurants. The room is very nice and looks to be newly renovated. The waterfall shower really captured our hearts. The only thing I would change is getting a room with a fireplace.

Absolutely loved this place. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and great location. We spent most of our time boating and wakesurfing. It was nice to sit in the jetted tub when we got back. Thank you Postmarc. We will see you soon.

So on the plus side the bed is seriously the most amazing. I think I've ever slept in a hotel and the pillows were awesome. The layout of the room was also nice the fireplace was nice and it looked like they may be had recently remodeled the bedroom portion of the room. On the downside the spa bathtub was peeling on the top of the tiles so they were little flakes of blue coming off every time we took a bath. But the tub was incredibly large and very nice. Also on the downside they don't have breakfast they don't have carts for your luggage so not the most incredible place that I've stayed but still decent would likely stay again for a night but it's not a luxurious type of room like I was initially expecting.

The rooms look great in pics, but weird in person. The mirrors are built in the walls EVERYWHERE. The beds are comfy, staff was nice, rooms were clean, parking is scary and pitch black at night behind the hotel, a bit scary. With all that said I gave 2 stars as my overall experience. I can't say I would choose this place to stay again. They also have stairs with no elevator and no luggage carts. You have to park in front and haul your stuff inside by carrying it back and forth multiple trips. That was ridiculous to me.

Cute place. Good location. Lots of free parking. The newer rooms are very nice. None of the rooms have great views but the hotel is within walking distance of many amazing views and lots of shopping/dining. The hotel is clean… was in the process of being repainted while I was there…

Celebrated our 20th anniversary. Great room, very clean, comfortable bed, soft pillows and great customer service. Free Wine & Cheese in lobby on Friday and Saturday. Booked our room for Jacuzzi and wasn't disappointed. Very clean, large and lots of hot water for All the baths we took! Will book again! Wasn't upset about our room on second floor, with no elevators.

The receptionist was very kind and helpful. Free parking space. There’s a nice walk just across the road by the lake. And walking distance to the restaurant, bars, and sky places. The room is very romantic full of mirrors. Although if you want bubbles in the jacuzzi you need to bring your own bubble soap.

Our favorite place to stay. Pros: — convenient location; just right across the lake, few minutes away from gambling halls and Heavenly, surrounded by restaurants, diners and fastfood — most rooms have jacuzzi ❤ — comfy bed — rooms are bigger than other hotel's Cons: — room rate now are way higher than it was before when it was still "Fantasy Inn". — receptionists are hit and miss. The first few times we've been here the guys and gals that helped us were very welcoming, although the last time we stayed here there was this gal and she was quite rude and irritable and made our stay a little bit uncomfortable.

I recommend this place to everybody. We stayed here a little while back and it was really nice. The room had a large tub and was very clean, I believe they had just remodeled some of the rooms. The price was more than reasonable especially considering the accommodations. The walk to the main part of town was not that far maybe 15-20 minutes and it was a nice walk but there was a lot of snow. The manager was really nice I'll definitely be staying here again when we go back.

The room is quite large and nicely decorated. It was clean, and almost everything worked, except one of the lights in the bathroom. The large spa to and shower are nice, but the tub has a leak so party of the carpet got very wet. Staff has been very friendly. The hotel is in a nice location. No breakfast provided, just coffee, and no restaurant at the hotel, but several within walking distance or a short drive.

We stayed in one of the honeymoon suites for our honeymoon last summer and had an amazing stay. The room and the jacuzzi were huge and the staff were very friendly. The room is a quick walk to Heavenly and to a ton of restaurants and casinos. Would definitely stay here again!

Disabled booked on 2nd floor with two leg braces going up and down stairs as there was no elevator was very painful and exhausting since I was traveling with my dog I needed to go up and down 3 times just for his bio breaks. I booked this place online as there was a blizzard warning and could not travel home safely as everyone was stuck I assumed I was put upstairs as it was all that was available. Out of desperation I asked if anything was available on first floor as my knees were suffering and to my surprise there was. I was thankful but very shocked that the front desk didn’t just offer or let me know seeing a woman stuck upstairs with her dog in two leg braces would be more comfortable on first floor. That was disappointing. The cabin rooms are terribly outdated furniture from 80s the King Suite room is updated and nicer. However this place is not ADA compliant in my opinion and my knees are still inflamed from those stairs 3 days later.

Very much enjoyed this hotel. Close to everything. Clean and very well run. Good parking. Was very happy that we chose this hotel to stay in while in Tahoe.

The location was walkable to Heavenly, about 15 minutes and was near by a bunch of restaurants. Would be beautiful when it snows up there. The jacuzzi was large and relaxing. The bed was comfortable and was more or less quiet. There was a lot of mirrors on almost all the walls. That kind of freaked me out but besides that it was a pleasant stay. They do kick you out right at 11am, which was kind of a bother when I was trying to load my car at 1030am and tried to access the back door but the card key didn't work anymore.

Great experience. Stayed for my wife's birthday and she loved it. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

Loved staying in the hotel. Its very much for couples although a few things could be changed. Food wise I really enjoyed the complimentary cheese and wine they had on Friday and Saturday but wished they had also served breakfast. Our hotel room was nice enough with a really nice intimate small jacuzzi with jets. The bathroom was small but the shower was big enough. The location is great a ten minute walk from Heavenly Resort and IHop and Mcdonals next door.

10 stars if your looking for a porn shoot location! Floor length mirrors on every wall. A 10 person jet tub. Lots of room for the camera man to get the perfect angle. Also clean and quiet. A little cheesy, but I would stay here again.

I love this hotel, I went there for my honeymoon. The room was beautiful and plenty of mirrors. Room was clean, cozy and the Jacuzzi was great! I'm looking forward to going back in May 2018 for our 1 year wedding anniversary.

Uniquely inviting for our Tahoe visit. Our room was cozy (fireplace and spa), staff was friendly and efficient, great location, and we felt an overall generally nice warm feeling here at Postmarc. This was beautifully comfortable space.

The hotel is well located. The rooms well maintained. Jessica at the front desk was amazing. Our room was very nice, jetted tub, big shower big bed. Fire pit outside, complementary wine and cheese and bikes! We went to riva grill for dinner right across the street where they have coupons for.

The room was lovely, greatly enjoyed the hot tub/shower combo. The bed was a little harder than we would have personally liked. Would have given a 5 star if the heater didn't sound like a jet liner landing next to us. It woke us up constantly which wasn't favorable. I feel bad that I didn't complain to see how they would have dealt with it. The air conditioner filter was very dirty. My man cleaned it when we arrived. As he is involved in this line of work he always take a it upon himself to check and clean them if they need it.

Let's face it, the only reason you will come here is the hot tubs in rooms. And you'll probably get sick of them by the time your stay is over. Still worth staying here though, despite some small shortcomings.

Average, nice hotel room. Unusual amount of floor-to-ceiling mirrors around the bed and bathing areas. The bathing area was enormous, taking up at least one third of the room, and separated from the bed area by a curtain. It included a 2 head shower and a large jacuzzi tub that could easily fit two or more. Located close to a marina, shops, and restaurants.

The room and facilities were clean and had a nice contemporary feel because everything was updated in 2015. The environment was great and the hotel was centrally located. Only reason not 5 stars was the in-room TV was not working. Would definitely stay there again.

I absolutely love this place. John and others on the staff have always been very nice and helpful when explaining the different room options and ammenities. This is definitely a place for couples as it specializes in rooms with hot rubs and mirrors on the walls and ceiling. It was renovated maybe 4 years ago when it was the Fantasy Inn and you can still see some of the older markings. Some rooms are hit and miss and quality does differ from the many levels of rooms they offer which is why I don't give it 5 stars but this is my favorite place in Tahoe. Prices are better Sunday-Thursday. Must try the King Cabin Suite!

I'm in love with this place! Lovely smaller hotel with wine/cheese on fri/sat afternoon. Coffee and tea pretty much all the time. Yes, I love free beverages! Super nice staff who accommodated our need to check in early because we needed change for a wedding. The room was beautiful and the jacuzzi bath tub was divine!

We loved this little gem on beautiful Lake Tahoe! The room we stayed in was super luxurious and included king bed, spa bath, fireplace, TV, free Wi-Fi and free parking. They don't do breakfast but generous complimentary coffees on tap plus you have a fridge and a coffee maker in your room! Staff very friendly and helpful and we liked the environmentally friendly ethos of the place. Very well situated, beach, boardwalk, restaurants & shops all very nearby! I would highly recommend this place if you're thinking of both summer and winter holidays — perfect! We will definitely stay here again.

People working there were absolutely wonderful and helped us find beautiful places to explore and enjoy as well as giving us spot on recommendations to great places to eat without spending an arm and leg! The room we stayed in was mid-rate, I believe, but it was so nice and always maintained and clean that it felt like we had the best room in the house! Our stay was wonderful and highly recommend to anyone. Anything you want to do or place you want to go is within minutes to one side or the other, perfect location! I can't say enough good about the hotel or the personal, absolutely wonderful!

We've stayed at the postmarc twice now, the location is prime for having access to tourist attractions and the beach. The rooms are clean and nice and the price is just right. I loved that the recently added bicycles free for guests to check out and see the town.

Took my girl for a romantic get away… this place is awesome totally full filled me and my girls dreams for a romantic get away!

The Postmarc Hotel is a really nice place to spend with your significant other. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are fairly large, clean, and it's quiet. I really like how the rooms are decorated and the jacuzzi tub/shower area is really cool with the natural stone flooring. I will definitely be returning soon.

Clean, nice staff. Definitely would return but I would request a different room. They did accommodate our very early arrival, but we were on ground level near parking lot, noisy! But boy did we enjoy the jacuzzi!

We found a good promotion on our room, and we're very happy with the stay. The room was big and clean, the spa was nice, and the hotel seemed surprisingly quiet. The employees were friendly when dealing with them, and the location was good too. Definitely a good value and we would come again.

Really good hotel: 24 hour desk attendent, fridge in the room, super cool european shower, excellent towel and pillow supply (always a plus for me), discount at McDuff's Pub which is a great spot a couple miles down the road, weird amount of mirrors but my boyfriend enjoyed it so I guess all ends well. He would like to add that the decor was on point.

My husband and I stayed here for our one year anniversary. We loved it! It was unbelievably cozy. We were in the princess room, and although they were small, they had everything we would need and more. We loved the big tub, the bed was comfortable, everything was clean. Will definitely stay again and would recommend this to anyone.

Awesome room for a stupid low price! Hot tub was so comforting after busting my ass snowboarding. Staff was friendly and plenty of parking. Will stay again.

Very Great Place To Stay For The Value.

I love this hotel! I do not know what the people are talking about in the bad reviews. I guess it is the fact that the bad reviews are are almost 5 years old! Ownership has obviously changed hands since then becasue we had great service in a great room in a great location. We will definitely be staying here from now on.

We stayed in one of the theme rooms and absolutely loved it! The bed is nice, the room is big, the room is clean, and the tub in the room was really cool! We stayed in the Romeo and Juliet room and have the Roman room booked for our next trip. Compared to the overpriced casino rooms this place is a steal.

We have stayed here several times and had no problems with the front desk overcharging our card. Have stayed in what I believe is the princess rooms with no particular complaints. No, it is not 5 star accommodations, but unless you are paying for the fancy theme rooms, the price is right. Location is good, with a nice Mexican restaurant for dinner on one side and a nice pancake place on the other side. Nice view of Heavenly Valley from back rooms.

Expected a little more for $279 a night. Clean but old.
