The staff are just the worst we have ever encountered! We had 5 rooms booked, one we booked for the day before to ensure that when we arrive at noon we had a place for my mom as check in was at 6 PM. My mom’s group got there first and they would not let my sister take my reservation even though I was on the phone and my sister herself has a reservation that day. My sister was begging that my 90 year old mom just needed to rest but they actually were even yelling at my sister saying the place was full and even though she has a reservation herself that day, she cannot check in on my room on my behalf — with me on the phone. They were yelling even! My gosh! Worst experience ever!

Beautiful hotel. Has a private beach and a few big fire pits. Rooms are big with two full bedrooms. 1 has a spa tub. Really relaxing and very clean.

Second year coming here. Love the improvements each year. Wonderful to relax on the private beach and sit around the fire pits in the evening. Nicely appointed rooms, clean, friendly staff.

I have enjoyed my stay so far… very comfortable and family friendly. The private beach, tennis courts, restaurants and local shopping is so convenient. Will definitely recommend Tahoe beach and ski resort.

People at the front desk could be nicer. Pool is warm and jacuzzi is hot There is a lot of new restaurants the people havent seen before.

Very disappointed already and have only been here for five hours. The lobby was out of control due to the lack of organization. People had no rooms that they had reserved in advanced. Other people received the wrong keys went I. The room to find other people’s stuff inside. That alone made me a little skeptical to what kind of place they were running and how they are running it. People from our group weren’t able to get a room till 6:00pm due to this place not having the rooms cleaned and ready. Get to our room to find nasty back stuff and hair all over our bed. I ask for them to come replace them and I guy comes up and hands me a stack of bedding and tells me to throw the dirty stuff in the hallway. This has to be the worst place I have stayed. I’m very disappointed in there lack of caring about the customer.

This is our annual go to place. Our family loves this place. Great for a beach vacation. We love love love it.

Stayed here for five nights and loved it! Private beach access, walking distance to just about everything and clean accommodations all create a very fun and relaxing stay. Highly recommend it! One thing to note is that almost all units are kitchenette style. No oven or stove so you just need to plan accordingly.

From the moment that we checked in all the staff members were excellent. Loved having the spa and pool right on the beach. BBQs were clean and ready to cook off of. The two large fit pits were awesome at night. Great place to have a relaxing vacation. I should have planned and brought our rafts, umbrella, and chairs. They provide loungers and chairs for the beach but it would have been good to have.

Tahoe Beach and ski club is the place to eat stay and play. Every minute of my 3 days here was fantastic! From the moment we checked in until sadly leaving this Morning, the level of service we received was second to none! Our accommodations were first class, the food 5-star, and the staff… everyone from the front desk clerk to housekeeping, always took the extra second to say hello, see if we needed anything. Sadly we checked out this morning but we will be back!

Friendly staff, went out of their way to accommodate a switch from an unfavorable unit. Would give 5 stars but as I was loading the car we were locked out of our room when the key turned off before we checked out. Yes it was our fault for being 10-15 minutes past check out but certainly would've appreciated a tiny grace period there. Beautiful beach and nice pools.

Love the room set up where you and the wife stay upstairs and the kids are downstairs on the couch with a kitchenette and separate bathroom and TV. The spiral staircase is an amazing part of the whole experience perfectly located between the ski resorts and the beach with tons of activities for kids to do at no extra charge.

This is a time share resort, has private beach with lots of activities for kids. Lots of shopping, and local restaurants and breweries to check out near by.

Room was decent, pretty small. Bed was not clean, sheets and pillows had tons of hairs on them definitely not clean. I called front desk and the woman was nasty when I asked for new sheets and said that wasn't possible … I was called back by a manager and he apologized and had sent up new sheets. That I had to put on myself. Also we had a 7 night stay and our room was never cleaned once. We called and asked for room cleaning and they said it was not available. They were having issues with cleaning staff and room cleaning wouldn't be possible during our stay. That to me is unacceptable. Probably wouldn't stay here again. Good things about the hotel is its right on the beach and it has a nice outdoor pool and sauna.

A great Spring break, honeymoon, Christmas getaway or even a " Just Because I Can" place to relax while having fun place! Take time 2 vacation here!

Second time we stayed here. Location can't be beat just outside the marina, nice beach, comfortable accommodations. Staff was friendly and helpful. We will absolutely be beach again.

My favorite vacation spot. There is a private sandy beach with lounge chairs available. It is located next door to Ski Run Marina which is a major boat/jet ski rental place and home to some shops and restaurants. There are several charter boats available at the marina, but no more Tahoe Queen.

Sierra and Megan are great. My children enjoyed the activities. Rooms are big and clean.

One of the best places on the lake, just need to get staff that is a little more in touch. Lots of activities, great location and views, very well maintained.

Great place anytime if the year for fun with the family. The recreation activities are great! They go above and beyond their call of duty. I forgot my laptop there and they stopped it safely and sent it to me. I didn't even have to pay the postage. I'm so happy they were kind enough to do that!

The lobby is not appealing-at all. The units are relatively nice. Great location and proximity to restaurants and shops is super. I don't know that I would choose this location without looking around again, but we enjoyed our stay in Tahoe.

Fabulous upscale beach feel was in the atmosphere. It was fashion friendly yet not snobbish. Kind staff.

An excellent place to stay because of its proximity to the ski runs, but if you want to be right next to them you need to stay closer to the ski runs, and of course pay more money. It is a very nice place to stay, if a little basic, with good sized rooms. Service was pleasant and it is close to ski rental shops. Just a 5-7 minute walk from a casino and Hard Rock Cafe restaurant.

Rooms have plenty of space. Staff is very nice. The only issue is the laundry room was far away so was the pool. We had a long walk from the pool to our room and it was cold. Otherwise it's a nice place.

Great location with its own private beach on the marina a mile from the hustle and bustle of Stateline. Baths and kitchens partly updated but furnishings need updating. Units clean but common areas don’t appear so clean. No dishwasher or washer/dryer in units-common laundry area.

The resort is clean and grounds are maintained well. The location in South Lake Tahoe is perfect. A Safeway is within walking distance. The unit was nice and clean. The king bed was extremely comfortable, and the room has a box fan, which we used for white noise at nighf. The amenities, activities and resort offerings were not worth the daily resort fee required through our RCI exchange. If the weather had been warmer, we probably would have spent more time at the beach; however, the wind was not inviting. If you intend to spend much of your time away from the resort, this is a great location and good fit.

A lovely location just a walk and skip away from the shore. Perfect location to the shopping center and neighborhood casino if that is your game. The rooms are fine for the trip but I wouldn't have minded paying a little more for a more spacious accommodation.

Great staff and clean. Just need more staffing since it seems that they are running on a skeleton crew. Nonetheless, staff keeps cool and gets everything done in the most professional manner.

Of the two diamond resorts in Tahoe, I feel this is the better choice. This hotel has a nice private beach while the other does not. It is right next to amazing restaurants. Take the Safari rose cruise, the dock is just outside the hotel. Room is very clean, beautiful bathrooms. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and popcorn were in the room.

Having a fantastic time with thunderstorms and sun! Bonus of it is Sherman our pool guy is the best!

I just got back from staying at this resort for 2 nights. We stayed in one of the townhouses room 1111. The amenities were good: nice spa, spacious enough for the five of us, clean, two tvs and a private beach. However, there was no AC so it was hard to sleep at night even with 2 fans on and having the slider open. Also, we were facing the main street so it was very noisy. The halls do smell musty but thank goodness the rooms don't. Lastly, I am unsure what happened on the first night (maybe the walls are thin? ) because my sister and I were awaken by loud stomping footsteps that sounded like it came from next to our bed. A ghost? People being loud on the third floor at 2am? Not sure…

We were at Tahoe Beach and Ski for the 4th of July week 2017. The staff did an extraordinary job of making the place enjoyable in the face of huge crowds. The facility was kept immaculate and every contact with staff was polite and friendly. Rooms were really clean and well stocked with necessities, and the beach had enough chairs and even shade for all. I was worried about the new umbrella rules, but it worked out and enforcement was polite and very reasonable.

We stayed in the Bliss building, second floor. We were in a one bedroom. The unit was nicely updated. The balcony is nice, featuring all composite materials. The room amenities were great with your standard cable TV, a large flat screen in both rooms and DVD players. There is also a well stocked kitchen and two full baths. There is Wi-Fi on premise, but it was honestly hit or miss as to whether it was going to work. There are a few items missing due to the space limitations, namely a regular stove (they provide a two burner plug in, but it's pretty small), a dishwasher (not a big deal), and an oven (they only have a toaster oven). These aren't necessarily negatives, just something to keep in mind. Overall the room is great. The grounds are kept pristine, with a private beach that is monitored closely by security and a green area with several grills for cooking. They also have two spas and a pool. The pool is kept decently warm and the spas are kept hot. We've been here several times in the past and have always enjoyed ourselves. One of the biggest advantages is that it is walking distance to the marina.

We purchased our week about 25 years ago and have enjoyed our vacations here. The staff is always helpful and friendly. We are currently here for the 4th of July week and are enjoying the newly remodeled one bedroom deluxe in the Baldwin building. It's great to see guests sharing the great facilities available. Looking forward to watching the fireworks display from the private beach.

Our first awesome stay in Tahoe Beach & Ski Club. We loved the place as a family. After a day of fun in the snow & in the heavenly area, it was so relaxing to soaked in your heated pool & hot tub, plus the kids did enjoy the jetted tub in the room. I requested for the lake view & im so glad they gave me what I want! Just a few steps on the private beach area! The townhouse is clean & very cozy. We'll sure to come back here. Thank you for accommodating my request.

Horrible. A pipe burst and our entire floor smelled of mildew. Why did they even put us on that floor? Isn't that a health concern? Not good for someone with asthma. Laundry and recreation rooms were unavailable yet they still charged us a resort fee. For what? We didn't even have our room cleaned the entire time we were there. We picked this resort for the amenities they offered but nothing was available. Horrible first trip to Tahoe because of this place. No mention of paying a resort fee. This is the first time we have ever paid a resort fee when using our timeshare. A resort fee for nothing in return! No stars!

I booked a room in December for Memorial Day weekend. My inlaws decided to join us so I booked them an available townhouse at the resort on April 20. The night before we left for our trip I got a phonecall from the hotel desk manager saying "They were doing renovations and they didn't complete in time so our room was not available. " I clarified with manager I had booked 2 rooms/2 reservations — a room and a townhouse so as long as one was available we could pile all into one. He said both were unavailable. (I'm pretty sure this can be interpreted as we overbooked for the weekend and someone else got priority over me) He offered to move us to a 'more expensive resort' without charging us or could refund us. I asked if it was on the lake and he said no. This was my 80+ yo inlaws request to see Lake Tahoe before they die and was the only reason they chose to come on this west coast trip with us — to see Lake Tahoe. They aren't able to get out and about easily so we wanted something ON the lake. I frantically called around knowing most lakefront properties were already booked for holiday weekend but was able to find 2 rooms for us, my inlaws, and my 2 kids, at a competing resort on the lake. I called back and told manager to process refund on both rooms and he said he would. The following week I noticed refund on my online credit card account for only ONE room (the less expensive one). I called and was reassured that the other room was processed.

Rooms were decent and cozy with nice layout. Right next to the lake and shopping center and restaurants that have really good food. Also right next to Lake equipment rentals. This place is really convent to stay at, only complaint is that there is no air conditioning and they have smart tvs but disabled the apps and everything so it can't be used to its full potential like it should be. I mean u have to have an account to each app on smart tvs like vudu or Netflix so how do they benefit by disabling those features? It just irritated me, didn't get me to get their free DVD quality rentals.

I personally love Tahoe Beach & Ski Club this is our second time here wonderful sandy beach. Fabulous rooms (like apartment) comfortable beds, barbecues, and full kitchens. Love Lake Tahoe. Would highly recommend staying here. Happy traveling.

Great value, great rooms, great staff. We only stayed for one night, but we very much enjoyed it.

Awesome facilities, rooms recently remodeled, very friendly staff, and great location in the South Lake! Been coming here for many years and will continue for near and distant future.

We stayed in the studio suit, it was nice and clean and many appliances in kitchenette, some available to ask for from the front desk as well. Friendly and helpful staff. The Wi-Fi was too slow though and that's why the four stars!

We stayed during Thanksgiving week and were impressed at the great accommodations. We loved our room which had a lovely view of the beach & mountains. The staff was friendly and helpful. Fast check in. We got a lot of helpful information from the Concierge, Amanda, who was super nice. We would highly recommend this resort to our family and friends.

Stayed here a week in October with my wife for our honeymoon. Great big, comfortable room with an adequate view of the lake. Our room had all the kitchen accessories we could want, save a dishwasher and stove. Overall very comfortable stay. We had a small emergency one night, and the staff were very eager to help. The hot tub and pool were open, though we only tested out the former per the cool temps of the week. Wished there had been breakfast for the guests every morning, but no biggie. They did offer a number of events throughout the week that included free food and music and such.

Nice location on the lake. Relaxed atmosphere. Rooms newly remodeled, super clean, well aponted rooms. My stay was mid October 2015 the room was a deal at $120 a night. For a 2 room suite. I will return.
