Love the place! “ partial” ocean view is 200% great! It’s a great place! Good bar restaurant and pool hot tub. Plus fireplace in the room! Real one not just has fake. Will come back here as much as possible!

Love the 600 Building. Close to the Restaurant, Fireside Lounge, Pool and Hot Tub. Also has unobstructed views. Rooms have a fireplace too.

The view from my room was amazing. Staff is great and helpful. Room service is fast and friendly. I've stayed here twice and plan to come back again when there hopefully won't be too many kids at the pool. Overall, my stay was nice.

It has everything. Great customer service. Me and my girl went for anniversary and the gave us a hand written note and champagne plus the restaurant knew who we were when we came.

Bodega Bay Lodge is an excellent hotel with all the amenities for a romantic getaway or just a relaxing weekend. Concierge are detailed oriented with a friendly atmosphere. We’ve had very unfortunate dealings with this hotel. My husband booked a stay several months ago as a surprise for me and never received an email confirmation. Figuring that the transaction didn’t go through, he didn’t follow up when we discussed the dates and realized it wouldn’t work for us. He never received confirmation of the reservation or any type of alert for the impending stay. We were then shocked to be charged $600 for a stay we never partook in. The hotel has refused to refund this charge. The lack of customer service and accountability is deplorable. Not only we will never visit this property, but we will ensure that family and friends who do, will find other accommodations in the future.

From the moment we entered the parking lot to the point where our stay ended, we had an excellent visit at the Bodega Bay Lodge. We're from Long Island, and the atmosphere created at the Lodge was reminiscent of the beauty of Montauk. The lovely landscaping, the incredibly attentive and thoughtful staff; we couldn't have been more pleased. We mentioned it was our anniversary, and we were unexpectedly presented with complimentary champagne. Then, we THOROUGHLY enjoyed the complimentary wine/cheese hour where we were delighted to interact with the other guests and ended up meeting some wonderful people. I love a hotel that provides an environment where guests can interact! Thank yoU!

High quality food at high prices. Everything is presented well, but the portions aren't as large as one might expect given the prices, and the sides like potatoes and eggs aren't included in every breakfast. It was still nice enough that we went twice for the weekend, but it wasn't terribly impressive.

Terrible customer service. My husband and I booked a stay here and asked to switch the day (with 2 weeks notice) and not only got denied but they refuse to refund us. If a bigger more well-known hotel like the courtyard Marriott can understand our situation and accommodate us then I would expect better customer service from a smaller hotel. DO NOT book here. I will be spreading the word.

Excellent service, free wine and cheese from 5-6 daily. Most rooms have a nice view. There's a pool, a hot tub, a bocce ball court and a few other outdoor games. There's also a really nice restaurant on the grounds and the landscaping is gorgeous.

We just arrived for a two night stay. We’ve stayed here several times and have recommended the lodge to many of our friends and family. I am very disappointed in the new ‘minimalist furnishings’ in the room. We have a king size bed, but there is only one end table and lamp. End tables are used for a glass a water, a place to rest your glasses, and night time reading. There isn’t a dresser for clothing or a desk to use a laptop. There is plenty of space for these additional pieces of highly functional furniture. This smacks of being cheap, and simply choosing not to replace broken or worn out furniture. I think at $400/night this is unacceptable. We aren’t going to check out, but we may not be back. Too bad.

Nice location for Bodega Bay. The rooms could use some updating. It seems they are in the process though. Because the bathrooms are newer than the rest of the room. The view from the room is very nice and peaceful. From our room we could see the bay and the beach Free Happy Hour wine tasting is a good way to meet guests and chill for an hour. If you are a *super* light sleeper, the Bodega Bay horn may be annoying. Assuming it's their to warn ships of the coming rocks. But it goes 24/7. You can't really hear it while in the room. It's very faint. But being our first time we noticed it at night. Don't think it's a deal breaker. In all, a legit place.

Heaven on Earth. The hot tub has an incredible view. And Sally and Jessica give the best message on the planet.

Both hotel and restaurant were fantastic. Room spacious and amenities well thought out. Restaurant menu and wine list great — server was a little frazzled, but still very good.

The rooms are big and the views are even better. The rooms are clean and nice. The property is kept well and the service is friendly. I would stay here again. They have a mix and mingle with free wine and cheese. They also have a heated outdoor pool and a small workout area.

Amazing hotel on the bay. The air and atmosphere is so crisp and refreshing. The prices are very reasonable for how great of a place this is. The rooms are very cosy with real fireplaces and comfortable beds. The second story with a balcony is breath taking. The hotel is right above the beach and very close to two great seafood restaurants. I'll be back many times in the years to come.

Employees, room and view were good. We would give more stars except there was a gross area of rotten drywall next to the shower and there were several cracked and wobbly tiles. +$200 seems you would not have these problems. Jacuzzi was not operating and appeared to be that way for awile. Did not partake in the free continental breakfast as we went to Drakes at the Bodega Bay Inn for an amazing breakfast.

Beautiful hotel with an extra restaurant. Fresh produce has a reasonable price however for such a hotel. The rooms are very large and all overlook the ocean.

I bought the groupon for my husbands birthday and we each got a massage that was exceptional. The two ladies did an awesome job and we felt so relaxed during the massage. After that we went in the hot tub looking out on the coast. The bathrooms were very clean with lockers that were easy to use. After a few hours of soaking in the spa we went in the lobby for wine and cheese hour that really hit the spot. The fresh fruit, cheeses, and crackers were a great snack and the wine was refreshing. It was a great experience overall!

What a gem! Lovely location, beautiful rooms, great staff, gym, pool, and huge hot tub all make BB Lodge a killer getaway. Highly recommended.

We have stayed at the resort multiple times. We’ve always had an amazing experience!
However, this time was different. There were some areas that really need attention. The beds are hard and uncomfortable. The maids skipped cleaning our room one day even when we called to ask for it to be cleaned. They never came. The following day they skipped us again and I had to call 2x to have someone come. The room service took an hour and the food was cold. The happy hour has now becom…e a wine tasting event which left us standing in line and had to sit through a wine presentation. Not worth it. The mini bar in the room was never restocked so we ran out of snack after day 2. The hot tub was always full of kids. However, you can’t beat the grounds, the view and spa facilities. They are AMAZING! The massage was the best I’ve ever had. We went one night to the Fireside Lounge for dinner and the food was late and cold. Overall I’m disappointed with the staff. They seemed understaffed and indifferent for such a beautiful resort. We offered this feedback in person as we check out but it didn’t seem like they cared.

The Bodega Bay Lodge is situated in a beautiful location on the coast, with generous rooms looking out over the bay. Loved it here and wished we had stayed longer.

The food was fantastic and the staff very friendly. The gnocchi was delicious, I would say the best thing on the menu. The drinks are great too. Lovely view and a nice fire place.

Lovely location. Clean, nicely appointed rooms. Evening free wine. Huge hot tub. Restaurant on property. Bay views. New Years was $937. For room, dinner and room service breakfast.

Amenities and facility are top notch. Rooms all have a fabulous view of sunset over the Pacific. The spa, pool and hot tub are all kid friendly and large enough where you don't feel crowded. The new management team has made some positive changes including the new restaurant menu. It's more diverse and as always, the food is spectacular. We come here every Christmas with the kids and some friends and we will continue to do so.

They upgraded our room for free even though this is our first stay with us. The views from the resort are spectacular. They gave an infinity hot tub which has breathtaking views. Definitely a great resort.

We were here earlier this year, & we absolutely loved it. Beautiful, big jacuzzi bathtub, very comfortable bed, and a lovely deck to sit out on & watch the view. We ordered our dinner to our room, as my hubby wasn’t feeling good, & it was so delicious. Everyone was friendly, & helpful. We will definitely be back!

Wow, very nice. Super friendly staff. They gave my wife and I an upgrade to a room with a Bay view. The rooms are very nice and pretty large. I have not been to the spa but my wife says it is excellent. The price was not cheap but it is worth it for the quality.

Warm friendly staff and service, they make you feel at home. Food was top notch and tasted like it was hand picked this morning. Views are stunning, location is superb. Highly recommend it.

Came here for a 24 hour anniversary retreat and left totally relaxed. Nicely updated amenities overall. Loved the pool and spa and free wine reception.

I miss the peace and serenity that the lodge offers and I haven't even been gone a day. The room was fabulous, the wine and cheese reception was lovely, and the food options were mouthwatering delicious. The pool and spa hours are perfect. You can relax in the spa with a breathtaking view super early or super late. A breathtaking way to start or end your day. We will defiantly be back very soon!

Good but not great. The pillows were tooo soft. Rooms were nice. Bay views were far views. Not quite binoculars are a must but might as well be. There is an annoying beep / honk through the night which is not loud but loud enough to annoy the light sleeper. Wine drinkers & alcoholic beverage consumers may not be bothered by that sound but it did bother me. Service was good.

3 nights with the romance package. Great service and incredible views. Rooms were very nice. Food at Drakes was good, the breakfast was superb. Nice and secluded off the road, quiet and rustic feeling.

Gorgeous room with a great view, kind staff members. From 5-6 PM, they do a complimentary wine and cheese tasting, which was neat. Our room came with a fireplace and a Duraflame log, so we had our own fire in the room. Only reason for 4 stars was because the hotel hosted a wedding and the parking became a little ridiculous, which was frustrating. Also, our minifridge was turned on and at a good level of coldness when we got there so we thought it was fine. Apparently it never actually cold and the food we left in overnight was barely cold to the touch, so we threw it out. Overall, great hotel, great staff, gorgeous views!

Very accommodating and nice front desk staff. Mari was especially sweet and check in! Loved her. Our room had a nice view of the water which was lovely to wake up to. Since we were situated next to the fire pit and Drake's fireside lounge, it was a bit noisy though 11pm. Overall great place with nice facilities. Would visit again!

Second time here. Beautiful views. Nice rooms. Rooms on 2nd floor of 200 building have nice bay and ocean view. Good restaurant and the wine tasting a plus. No air but mostly don't need as nights are cool.

The atmosphere is great, and relaxing. We loved the infinity spa. There are fires burning all over to enjoy, including in-room. We had hamburgers from the lounge and breakfast delivered. The food was great and decently priced. It's just a short walk to the beach and a quick drive to the main drag. There are cheese, crackers and a nice array of wines every night in the main lobby, with some games and more great atmosphere. Love this hotel.

A really nice hotel right on the coast in view of Doran Beach. Rooms are spacious with fireplaces and the restaurant and bar serve some great food. Super fresh oysters if you're into that like me! The spa is undergoing some refurbishment currently but looks like that should be done soon.

Beautiful location, our experience with the restaurant staff and food was excellent. The rooms were very nice. Most of the staff were very pleasant and accommodating however some appeared less than professional. There was evidence of a lack of attention to detail and the place had the feeling of a once nice property in decline. Management seemed indifferent, no doubt the reason for the decline. Sad to see a once wonderful place riding the reputation of its past.

Beautiful setting with views from every room. Free WiFI and lovely accommodations in all rooms. Winter had no fog and perfectly clear mornings. Will definitely come again and stay longer.

9/3/14 The next time a friend or colleague asks me to recommend a place for a fun weekend getaway, or a great retreat for a romantic rendezvous, I will encourage them to enjoy a stay at the Bodega Bay Lodge. The Lodge is only a short distance from our home in the East Bay (less than two hours away), but it's in its entirely own wonderful world. After stopping to see our family in Petaluma, we drove 30 minutes further, passing hillsides with green grass and colorful flowers, and families of black and white cows busy grazing, and happily flicking their sun-drenched tails. We arrived at the Lodge about an hour before official check-in. We spent this time at the pool and in the fitness center. (Well, more like 15 minutes in the fitness center, and then some time at the pool). A beautiful outdoor shower is provided so you can clean off before getting into their heated pool and giant infinity spa. I took a quick cold shower which made the cool pool water feel much more welcoming. The weather was cool and breezy, so after a few laps, we enjoyed resting in front of the heated infinity spa jets. I did notice their pool is 8 ft deep. Soooo nice! I rarely see deep pools any more. It made swimming and playing in the water so much fun! We were called when our room was ready but cell phone service was slim (even though I had internet with the free Wi-Fi they provide, I couldn't easily make or receive calls — and I have Verizon!

I love this place! Lavender bath products won me over for sure :) I love the lounge for coffee in the morning. The scenery outlook is beautiful and the spa accommodations are awesome. The restaurant is great too with awesome wine. I loved the strawberry pie!

I am a frequent guest of Bodega Bay Lodge and Spa. Twice a year I get amazing service, and the staff ensure each stay is top notch. The food at the Duck Club is always fresh and the service is great.

It was a great weekend getway, very scenic drive in coming from the South Bay. Crossed the Golden Gate and took the PCH. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Restaurant was very good too. I thought it would be a little closer to the water, but the view was nice. Heard the foghorn for two days straight non-stop was a bit distracting — but I guess the hotel has nothing to do with that.
