We had a great time. There isn't anything super fancy and the hot tub doesn't work. But the location is nice. And the water is just on the other side of the road. The cost is a little high for what you get.

Driving up from LA to Seattle for my dream road trip in the new Jag, turned to disaster, wound up stuck on the side of the 5 for 4 hours waiting for triple A to fix a flat… needless to say my stress level was through the roof. At 11pm, about 1.5 hours from the inn, I check my email and see in bold that check-in is only until 9 PM! Ahhhh! I almost lost my mind. I called and to my disbelief Kevin was still there to pick up. Kevin reversed my charges, freeing me to book a hotel locally and get some much-needed rest. I’m honestly almost in tears at my restored faith in mankind. THANK YOU KEVIN! Words cannot describe how grateful I am.

Room was very upsetting, looked like a dog had soiled the carpet in several locations. Went down to the office to see if we could change rooms and clerk said dogs were not allowed upstairs. There was definitely something on the carpet still in several places. The room had a bad smell also so we had to sleep with the patio door open all night. Bathroom was very dated with mold on the walls. Will never stay here again.

For a start, the hotel was very overpriced for what we got. Pictures don't reflect true condition at all. Our room was in serious need of refurbishment. Old and tired and the toilet backed up. Bed was comfortable as was the shower, but $216 USD over the top. Staff were very good and helpful.

Nice room and view of the bay but lacking in amenities and maintenance. Breakfast offering closes at 9:30am. C'mon, it's a vacation destination, let folks sleep in and still get a bite. Good coffee in rooms but only terrible powdered non-dairy creamer. Offer the little individual sealed half n half containers.

Room was clean and loved the balcony. Pricing was a little on the high end but it is the weekend of the Fisherman Festival so it's expected. Friendly staff! I would happily stay here again.

Great place, located close to everything and beautiful view and their continental breakfast was good, price is not bad for everything that is here.

Very disappointing. Was hoping for a relaxing and romantic evening with my man with a ocean view a fireplace and a in room hot tub. What we got was a musty room, broken curtains and a tub with no water pressure to fill the tub. Even worse when I called the front desk, the clerk said there was nothing he could do about and really didn’t care. He didn’t even bother to suggest a solution or offer a discount. Guess I won’t be recommending this place to anyone.

Everything I could want in a room! Microwave and an empty mini fridge for all my leftovers. Staff is friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast that comes w/ the room price is great!

Updated rooms looked nice but required maintanance. Hot tub was out of order. Nice view, pet friendly and great breakfast.

Stayed here about 2 years ago and it’s was the best hotel stay ever. The staff were super sweet. The breakfast was very good and lots of choices. The honeymoon suite we stayed in was very spacious and the heart shaped tub was super cute. We loved the hot tub as well. The views are amazing as well. Great pricing for what you get. Highly recommend!

I was expecting better quality for the price. Rooms are dated and need service. Our sink did not drain properly, no shelves in the shower, screens on door need replacement, the bed was comfortable but the fitted sheets did not fit properly and kept coming off. I would not stay again.

We visited this amazing resort during the recent Santa Rosa wildfire and they were such a blessing to the evacuees, taking in everyone they could even with a full house they also allowed people to stay and camp on there property at no charge. Very kind hearted people! Keven and Tammy the manager's did an excellent job taking care of those in need! This place is clean, beautiful views and delightful rooms! I would recommend this resort to anyone! Thanks Staff! Your the best!

We stayed here while the fires raged in Sonoma County. Tammy and Kevin were so gracious, concerned and flexible. We will definitely send our friends here. We also plan to return when we can enjoy the views and hot tub and not worry about fires near our house. Nice place and awesome innkeepers!

Clean hotel with comfortable rooms. It was recently updated with new carpets and bedding. The lobby and breakfast room are cute and have a "birds" feel to it. The view of the bay from the rooms with balconys are beautiful. The front desk staff are super helpful as well! I highly recommend this hotel if you are going to stay in the Bodega Bay area.

Great service but the proximity to the road produces a good bit of road noise. The room was clean and spacious. Do be warned there are no vending machines other than ice and most places to grab a quick bite to eat close at 6. Get there early or bring dinner in from Santa rosa/Sebastopol.

We really enjoyed the hotel. Clean, updated, bed soft and comfy. Good view loved the balcony with great table and pub chairs. TV flat screen perfect… Fire place was so pretty… Coffee was perfect with pod cups. Great staff… we walked 5 min to Lucus Bar at sunset … beautiful & good food… We will stay again❤️

I spent one night here. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were good quality which is super important to me. The property is nice with an outdoor hot tub that I didn't use. The room was large and I had a fireplace which came with a Duraflame log, which is a nice touch! The room was just ok. It was clean, but it is an older facility with some minimal renovations to make it look a little nicer. The continental breakfast was disappointing.

First, I have to say the staff, front desk, breakfast lady and housekeeping were professional and friendly. Plus this is a pet friendly hotel and so I give them 5 STARS on hospitality. Good restaurant or 2 within walking distance and beach access a 5-10 walk. Clean beds and bath supplies. Now for the downside: Our room was old and in disrepair. Curtains off track, laminate floor falling apart, needs paint. The in-room jacuzzi tub was old and broken. Hotel hot tub (which I was looking forward to since the jacuzzi tub in room did work) was out of service and will be for sometime (management says they are waiting on part). We had an ocean view as long as vehicles weren't parked in front of our patio window. Balcony rooms probably have a better view. I would still recommend this place especially if you have kids or pets. This is not for a romantic getaway. It's a little pricey but it's Bodega.

Quite pricey for what you get. Not enough blankets, couples getaway not for families. No pool or Jacuzzi in the summer time come on folks. For the amount of money paid, one is better off going to a name brand hotel.

My husband and I stayed there for one night. Since we were in a huge rush to get to an event, we didn't have time to fully examine the room. It was well decorated with a beautiful view of the bay. The door to the bathroom didn't close properly and outlets were completely exposed. When we were returning to our room later that night, we saw other rooms' doors a bit open and jokingly decided to push our door without using the key. To our amusement and surprise the door to our room opened. Once we got into the bed, it felt soaking wet. At first I thought it was from my water I spilled … and when I smelled and looked closer, we saw that our bed was soiled, covered with pee. When we talked to the front desk, we were told that we didn't use the key properly and that the housekeeping somehow missed the dirty linens. We didn't get an apology or anything to that effect… just "next" to the person behind us. Yes, we covered the soiled part with the covers and slept on one side of the bed… Will never come back there again!

If you're going to Bodega Bay, this definitely​ is the place you ​HAVE to stay. The owners are very happy for your company and the lobby is cozy and luxurious but nothing compared to the rooms with great beds with always clean linens, a great looking bathroom, and likely a small balcony overlooking the bay. It is located in a great spot by the bay after all.

It was laid back, quiet, nice kinda old school. Next to ocean. Has a hot tub. Nice breakfast and sweet kind people who operate the place. Will definitely go again.

Out dated room, no ceiling fan, NO AC! Flat screen TV, decent sz mini fridge and microwave. PS, not sure they vacuumed my room.

Horrible time at this hotel everything is outdated, had a toilet over flow they came said it was fixed it over flowed again there was no free Wi-Fi. I emailed the hotel about my experience and have not heard back won't ever stay here or recommend this place. Wish I could give less then a star.

This charming inn is the perfect getaway: it offers a rare combination of being ideally located AND affordable. If you find yourself in Bodega Bay, I highly recommend that you visit the Bodega Coast Inn. If you're looking for a swanky, snobby place that reeks of expensive caviar, this isn't it — and if that's the case, you probably wouldn't like Bodega Bay. What this place IS, is a lovingly maintained, clean, comfortable hotel that provides all the amenities you need for a relaxing vacation. It's also within walking distance to some local restaurants and shops, and LOTS of beautiful walking trails through a bird preserve and down to a long stretch of beautiful beach. The owners' dedication to customer service is what really makes this place great. The owners, Kevin and Tammy, and their staff will do everything they can to make you feel at home. I have visited many times with my family over the years — most recently, the place was mostly taken over by family and friends who were in town for my sister's wedding. Kevin and Tammy took such great care of everyone and made everyone feel welcomed like family.

I called to cancel the reservation. I couldn't because I booked online. When I asked her how to cancel, I was told she didn't know but I should figure it out because other people had done it. Glad I stayed at the bodega bay lodge down the street. It was beautiful.

No 'stars' this is a dump, overpriced, overlooking parking lot, asphalt no real lake view dirty inside, disgusting, barely made it through the night and left earliest! there are way better options up and down the bay — don't fall for this one! The $200 / night is a hoax and attitude from the service/ check-in staff to boot.

The room was okay but pretty dated! my boyfriend and I stayed one night we got the romance package and I double checked on the phone that the room with the romance package was $219.00. That included cheap nasty champagne and cheap $5 chocolates well a week later and they charged me $293.00 I understand taxes but not $70 worth! I called them and they told me that the romance package was $50 extra on top of the $219 but yet nobody felt they needed to tell me that even when I asked at the front desk as well! beyond not happy I paid $300 for a mediocre room. Dont stay here they will find extra fees to charge you and even when you ask they wont tell you about them. The manager was not helpful at all. Do not stay here!
