Stay far away! My friend’s son and family stayed there because their house was evacuated. He has airway issues and surgeries every month. 1st night toilet overflowed. They said no other rooms. After much discussion only offered half refund then laughed at her and said you gonna cry about that! In these unprecedented times! How horrible! You people are beyond despicable! 🤬

Cause they tried running my card after I paid. And kicked me out for no reason. Whatch out employee nicole is skimming. Credit cards.

Unfortunately, I fell ill the night we stayed at The Row. The staff could not have been more caring and accommodating. They were so helpful. The room was beautiful, and the beds were very comfortable. We also loved the covered parking, and the included breakfast. They had the most delicious coffee. I give them five stars, and if I’m ever back in the area, I would stay here again.

The hotel is very clean the staff is friendly! But our TV was broken and the guests above us were playing loud music at 4am an jumping on the bed and yelling took multiple calls to front desk to get them to quiet down!

We have been travelling from Vegas to LA up highway 1.
The staff here have been so helpfully and polite.
This hotel is definitely a 5 star. Wish I was staying here longer.

For the price and location I can't complain too much! They provide a decent room with nice upgrades and good parking onsite. Half the rooms are going to be facing a busy street. Our windows did a decent job of keeping the traffic noise down. The walls to seem really thin though, so expect to hear any loud neighbors. Our TV wouldn't allow us to order PPV which was disappointing. Free breakfast with good Pete's coffee provided. Some mold on the bathroom wall, but overall a clean room.

Breakfast was good luck, rooms clean, modern feel to the decor. Large jacuzzi tub in the room, comfortable beds. Close to Santana Row. Good experience.

This hotel has nice decor inside & outside the room. We spent some time at the lounge area before calling it a night & I like the ambience. The rooms were clean & spacious; the air conditioning was not loud & clanking; there's enough USB to charge our phones & devices; has cable/satellite, flat screen TV. The queen beds were comfortable, enough space for 2 people. I love their complimentary Continental breakfast, scrambled eggs, potatoes, 2 kinds of sausages & anything else for breakfast; wide selections. The staffs were friendly, pleasant, accommodating & helpfully; especially the young man that checked us in late night (1st time that I could remember someone asked how's my day was & helped with when the TV wasn't working). The only negative was the street noise, vehicles driving by (especially the trucks) very loud. Overall it was a good stay at this hotel.

Stayed here for 4 days. The area is very close to Santana Row, The SAP center, pretty much everything you need as far as tourism goes. My only reasoning for giving them 3 stars and not 4 is two issues. One is the plumbing. My toilet would clog multiple times during my stay and at one point it was at 6 pm at night. When I told the front desk the women said maintenance had left for the day? So what would happen if there is an emergency? She did say "Do you want the plunger"? I was just in shock there is no one there to handle things like this. My only other complaint is within being there for 2 hours I get a knock on the door and there is a guy telling me another person is complaining about smoking. Well, I specifically asked for a non-smoking room and I think all of the rooms are non-smoking. Normally I would blow this off but I only heard him knock on my door. I felt singled out and hopefully, it wasn't what I'm thinking. As far as the hotel itself it is very nice and comfortable. Breakfast is simple but tastes good. I usually had the eggs with some hashbrowns and maybe some cereal. The check-in area is upstairs. The parking lot is free and easy to get to. I recommend staying here.

We liked this hotel with colleagues when in town in San Jose. I think it was newly opened. Great service, evening bar and morning breakfast was also good. Looking forward to 2nd visit.

Very large rooms, equipped with everything you need. Rooms have carpets, which wasn’t super clean, but besides that, the room was very clean! Staff is very nice. Parking is easy. Breakfast is great and you can find variety of things.

Went on a road trip from LA to San Francisco, however we wanted to stop by the Winchester house but had no reservations for any hotel. Every hotel my husband and I went to was booked. Then we came across this hotel and loved it. I rave about this place all the time, that I want to come back to San Jose and stay at this hotel. Service was excellent, everything was phenomenal. Its has real nice interior and we even got a great breakfast before we took off again fir our adventure to San Francisco. I highly recommend coming to this hotel if your in the San Jose area. Thank you for your service. I will return back again.

This place was nice. The staff was friendly. The outside of the hotel looks average. But once you go inside it's a totally different atmosphere. It's nice and edgy, sheek feeling. Nice wall paint, nice pictures and furniture. The room we stayed in was nice. Nice comfy clean king size bed. Nice big screen t. V. Jacuzzi tub. Nice walls and lighting was amazing. The restroom looked outdated. The tub was a little dirty. The jets had brown and black stuff in them. And had some mold. But other than that we had an great stay here. Good vibes. And we are planning on coming back. And I would toattly recommend this place to anyone.

I liked staying at The Row Hotel. Easy parking, the front desk and housekeeping staff were excellent. Full breakfast was great, eggs, bacon, sausage, all types of toast and pastries, fresh fruit, yougurt, cereal, and juice. Also, real butter and half n half. On the downside, the bathroom did have mold in the shower and water damage to the mouldings. Other than that the room was nice, great bed, plush towels, with iron, ironing board, and coffee in room.

Friendly hotel staff. Rooms have a very modern look. No hbo. Breakfast is excellent.

Great place. Great location. Small underground parking. Very pleased with the modern, updated rooms. Breakfast is a must! They even have a beer and wine bar. I was told that a liquor license is in the works. If this is true and issued to The Row, I will give 5 stars.

Nice and clean room / facilities. Very convenient location for walking distance to the ROW and short ride to SJ airport. The clincher, Peet's coffee in the morning :)

The Row Hotel is a very nice little hotel convenientlyocated next to major shopping areas. The decor is nice and it is apparent that they have done recent upgrades. Clean rooms and friendly staff make this a great place to stay.

Wow I stayed here and I was amazed at all the artwork and beautiful decor! I was very pleased with my stay! I highly recommend to anyone needing a place to stay. A bit pricey but well worth every penny. I would gladly stay here over any high end hotel. Very clean and well put together. I will say this the Lady who worked night shift was very helpful in anything I needed during my visit. Her name was Lani I believe a true God send. She is the reason why I made it a point to write a review. I thank God for her and her beautiful smile. I will be back soon. Count on that!

All staff was very friendly and courteous. The entire Hotel had a up-to-date and modern feel.

Modern and very convenient place to stay close to the SJC airport. Clean, large rooms, good bargain prices via booking platforms. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast free included for all guests. Free garage parking.

Extra nice place. Room, breakfast, staff all so much better than my expectation. Not to crowded. Fast Wi-Fi and plenty of hot water in your shower. I would take over a Marriott any day.

Nice room, but a bit noisy. Opening windows for sleeping is not possible because of traffic. Unfortunately, the air conditioning is also very noisy. Very nice staff.

Louder than other hotels in the area, but otherwise best value for money.

Stayed here for 4 nights. The pros: staff very friendly and helpful. The daily breakfast was good. Clean and plenty of easy parking. The cons: Very loud, didn't sleep at all, could hear street noise and noise from other rooms. Lighting was bad, rooms are dark and small, no shelves in shower, so had to put everything on the floor.

I'd give them 5 stars if the exceptional service we got was what they give every day customers, but as it was only to cover their rears because somehow they managed to give away the suite we booked and then proceeded to give us a lower cost room like they assumed we'd never notice? They only started bending over backwards to get us anything we wanted after my husband went to the front desk to inquire about the suite we booked. We got our money's worth out of it but were not happy that we were in a single room with our near adult children with no hot tub access.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… Looks a bit old on the outside, but once you're in its updated and very nice. The room was a bit dark but had everything you needed. I thought the sink outside the bathroom was kind of weird, but it was fine and made the small bathroom more roomy.

Our two room suite was very spacious, and the advanced booking price was great. The room was very nice, and clean. I needed more pillows, blanket, and towels and the housekeeping staff was very prompt. Staff were friendly and very helpful!
It needs a small pedestal sink in the bathroom as well as the one that was outside of the bathroom. It also took a long time for the hot water in the shower so I suggest a booster pump so the upper floors get the hot water faster.
The location was perfect couldn't be better. Right across the freeway from Santana Row, the Valley Fair Mall, and the Winchester Mystery House. The SAP Center is approximately four and a half miles away so that Uber, and taxi were inexpensive to get there and back!
I would definitely stay at 'The Row Hotel' again.

You can expect me to go back for another weekend soon. The staff was great and much respectful. They welcomed my friend's service dog (female pit bull), when he visited me. They serve a complete hot breakfast to fill you up and start your day right. The room was furnished to make you feel you were somebody important. With microwave, hot tub (upon request), Wi-Fi, and internet access with printer. Oh I forgot to mention the beer and wine bar on the 2nd floor with a nice lounge to go with it. I recommend ordering the room online prior to visiting. You will get discount deals online and not at the hotel.

Unfortunately my brother was in a really bad car accident and I had to fly to San Jose. I think it was the first night that The Row Hotel was open but it seemed like they had been running that place for years. It was very organized. The front desk and managers were so kind when they heard what happened and they really took care of me. I hope that I will be back up soon but for a better cause. Thank you to all the staff that made my sad stay happy. I appreciate you!

It was a very upscale feeling place surrounded by massage parlours. I will say the room had a bit of an unfinished quality to it, almost like they were renovating a little at a time. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. My only real complaint is that it was not advertised as a shower only as opposed to shower in tub room, which was inconvenient as I'm traveling with a small child. There was a complimentary breakfast which was well stocked and had a nice variety of food.

I'm your neighbor. You have had large dumpsters sitting on the sidewalk and others taking up half of a road lane. Please take action and move these off of the sidewalk and street. Thank you in advance for your attention.

DONT believe anything until you experience the stay for yourselves. We flew in and being first time we stayed at this hotel, I was hesitant at first BUT im so glad we did. The girls at the front desk are really friendly, rooms were clean, and it was quiet. They are under going renovation right now but there was no problem with that. Cant wait to see how its gonna look when they are done. I would definately stay there again… We just got back 2 days ago and we cant wait to go back.

I had a bad experience in this hotel during my guest's stay during 09/30/15 thru 10/04/15. He told me that the room was not clean up at all on the first day check in. Then on the 2nd evening the shower only has cold water! The next few days the shower gave lukewarm water and never comfortably hot. Do not book this hotel.

Worst Hotel. Still remodeling, noise till 11pm from construction. Charged me for smoking in my room when I don't even smoke. Hotel manager is a B@! $# when confronted about it. Don't stay here there's special massage parlors all around it. Not worth the price for the room in the area it's in.

It was nightmare experience. It was a complicated story. But a short version was that I booked the room and got the confirmation number. When I checked in at the front desk, they found they were over booked and only had for me a room on the third floor that was not ready yet, with no curtain and strong paint smells in the room. The assistant promised to give it for free to me, but when the manager arrived, they revoked the free offer. We got into serious argument… Eventually I booked another hotel…

The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Its under renovation, but still is a long way to fix it. Its darty, noisy, everything that you dont want in a hotel. Left the place before my 3 pre paied nights expire.

It's ok. Nothing amazing. Nice bed to sleep on and pretty roomy with a stove, microwave, fridge, and jacuzzi tub. Just lacked on the details. Lots of dings, dents, and small holes.

It's not the most expensive, but it is certainly one of the most friendly and welcoming hotels In the area.

For those of you that wrote a bad or horrible review about Hotel Valley Park on Stevens Creek Blvd in San Jose. Where in the world were you staying? I had to reserve 10 rooms at this hotel for an Expo in Santa Clara we had to attend. Everything looked ok online, photos, etc. So I booked the 10 rooms at Hotel Valley Park. The week before, we thought we'd check out the reviews as we had some large clients that we booked a room for and wanted to make sure it was acceptable. Because of your horrible reviews, we drove from Reno to San Jose the week before to check out the Hotel for ourselves. We were shown 8 different rooms on the different floors and guess what. They were NOTHING like what you goofballs said it was. ALL the rooms were CLEAN, there was NO SMELL, the sound of the traffic wasn't BAD, it's NOT haunted, seriously people, why give such horrible reviews? The staff were ALL very friendly and HELPFUL. The rooms were ALL clean. You get breakfast every morning and dinner every night except Sat. And Sun. All included in the cost of the room, which by the way, is fairly priced. So for those of you that are looking for a reasonably priced Hotel in San Jose, this isn't bad at all. Do NOT go by the bad reviews the others wrote, please.

Was hoping I could give this place a half star. Very old everything ordered a two bed room got a bed and a futon when we opened the futon it was broke My wife and I witch is pregnate BTW had to sleep on the floor very over priced as well Will never bring my family back here.
