Definitely not what was expected based on the internet ads… Was between this and a Marriott for the same money and opted for this due to the way it was advertised. Very reminiscent of a motel 6, very cold and bland experience, a heartless investment property… Got a one bedroom suite with a pull out couch for a 3 adults and a child. No roll away beds available. Very uncomfortable sofa sleeper, queen sized, only had a twin sized fitted sheet in the bedding package (which made no sense because they don't have twin beds or cots), no blanket either. No convection or oven in the kitchenette. Filthy carpet. The lamest Continental breakfast with no hot food. The pics in the ad were very deceitful. No fresh cookies or homey feel. Just gross.

Reserved a block of rooms for a wedding. Rooms were very nice, breakfast was tasty, but many of the lobby staff are extremely, at times almost surreally incompetent. Just trying to check into our rooms literally took 40 minutes, as we were accidentally checked into several other reservations by staff who seemed to have limited understanding of both the English language and the computer software that they use every day to make reservations. The combined efforts of all three people staffing the lobby were unable to understand and remedy our quite simple situation. (They had accidentally checked us in to my parents' room instead of our own room. Since my parents' reservation was for two days and ours was for only one, we needed them to check us in to our own room and keep the keys they had erroneously given us and give them to my parents, who would arrive later. ) We were only rescued from this purgatory when they called in the hotel manager Allana, who — — with refreshingly normal levels of competence and comprehension — — was able to resolve the situation in a handful of seconds. As a result of all this, the bride and I were around 15 minutes late for our wedding rehearsal. Later that night and the next morning, simply while walking in and out of the hotel going about my business, I had to repeatedly stop to help out wedding guests who were experiencing similar difficulties checking in.

This is NOT a 4 star hotel! Its the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The air conditioner leaked and created a huge puddle on the floor. The in room phone was incapable of calling the front desk. The water from the shower was dyed blue without having used any shampoo or soap products to dye it that color. After staying there for 2 of my 4 nights in San Jose, I switched hotels to a REAL 4 star hotel. I have been at the second hotel location for only an hour but I already see an extraordinary difference and am much happier now that I am paying the same price for a quality hotel experience.

My parents stay there regularly to visit and they keep coming back which is great. The person who helped us at the desk recognized that which was great. My parents were given an option of the floor to stay which they enjoyed the choice. The room was clean and I just love that the room is spacious so my family and I can hang out in the room. Overall I haven't heard anything negative.

The bed was a little soft but the room was clean. Not very expensive. Good location. Staff was helpful and very courteous. I especially appreciate the late check-out!

I liked this hotel, wish it had a pool but overall I really enjoyed it. My suite was very comfortable I felt at home. The reception/front desk guy was super friendly even made some jokes. I also liked that the parking was free and I was able to have two cars.

This place is clean and the service is spectacular. They really do a great job here and take this place seriously.

Nice place nice room and furniture plus free laundry machines. Decent breakfast too.

I've stayed in luxury hotels and suites all over the South Bay, and this place is my favorite of them all. The deposit was small, the staff member who checked me in was perky and friendly, and the suite was excellent yet unpretentious. Recommended for folks who want a great stay without any hassle.

I've stayed in lucky hotels and suites all over the South Bay, and this place is my favorite of them all. The deposit was small, the staff member who checked me in was perky and friendly, and the suite was excellent yet unpretentious. Recommended for folks who want a great stay without any hassle.

Staff are friendly, rooms are clean (mine was small, older and basic — room 200) and location is easy to find. The door to the room didn’t close properly. The temperature control (a very old unit near the window controlled by a newer control panel) simply did not work. Their system failed to send me a receipt, citing “email problems” even after I confirmed 2x email addresses. Prices were not lower than avg for the area (~300/night). Breakfasts are very basic here (no hot food, no healthy options) and seating is very limited (8 seats on 2 tables for the whole hotel).

We chose this hotel due to a room having 2 queen beds and a pull out couch. When you pull out the couch it's box springs NOT a mattress. We called the desk the 1st night and got no where. We talked to the desk in the morning and got no where. When we checked out a manager said it was the 1st he'd heard of the problem… he lowered our bill however one of our party had 2 nights with a lousy "bed. " If you're looking for a hotel with 3 beds… go some place else.

The executive suites are really nice. There is plenty of room to work, relax, and enjoy the stay. The staff is extremely helpful and very friendly; they take care of clients individually and give special attention to make sure each person enjoys their stay.

Bed is comfortable and location is convenient. However the housekeeping was a bit disappointing. We checked in on Thursday for a 7 night stay and it was Saturday afternoon before our room was cleaned. I should have done more research prior to booking as their policy is to clean every other day if your stay is 7 days or longer. The cleaning quality was good, just wish it was more often.

My stay was pleasant … place is quite n staff is good … only downside is no restaurant however lit of options nearby … I recommend n wud love to go back.

Checked in to our non smoking room, only to discover it had been recently used to smoke a few cartons. Asked for a different room and was told that non were available and we'd have to ask again in the morning. Mentioning to them that I would not be staying at their hotel for the four nights in that same room — they amazingly found us another room that was vacant.

Very nice. And maintained unfortunately toilet defective — for 2 nights quite nice.

It is a nice room, laid out as a small studio apartment. The kitchen area is effective and ready to use. Bathroom isn't cramped like at some many other hotels these days. The bed was comfortable and room quiet and clean. The Internet is included and was very simple and fast to get setup. While the place was a little older and had some wear around the edges, nothing was wrong and it was a good place to stay.

Very expensive compared to the quality of the hotel.

Kind hosts, rooms are big and clean. Hotel is close to airport and many malls. Very nice hotel. The only downside is that breakfast can be better.

Clean, comfortable, convenient, Larkspur Landing was a great spot to stop overnight when a friend and I came to town for a concert in San Jose. It was about a quick 15 minute drive to the arena, and the free hotel parking + arena parking was less than parking at hotels closer in. Plus it was nice to have quiet away from the concert once we got back. The continental breakfast was fine, all cold items with toasters available for bread, bagels, and Eggo style waffles. I really appreciated that soy milk was available. One thing to make it better would be some cut-up fruit like melon, in addition to the whole apples and bananas offered.

Great Location in Campbell, located close to the expressway and Beautiful Downtown Campbell is only minutes away. The room are top of the line with king bed, full side refrigerator, stovetop, oven and laundry Center. Home away from home!

Great place. Asked for room on top floor away from street, it was very quiet and had nice view of trees in residential neighborhood. Comfy bed, large table/desk. Enjoyed free healthy breakfast of hardboiled eggs, cereal, bagels, yogurt, bananas, etc. (But don't expect bacon, danish pastries, etc. ) Very friendly and helpful staff.

Room was comfortable. Nice to have a fridge. Bathtub/shower could use some upgrading. Staff was friendly. Later breakfast would be nice since it is continental.

The suite we booked was small and cozy. Compared to the prices of other standard hotel rooms in the area this had a lot of value. Overall the suite seemed clean. I was most appreciative of the free breakfast. It wasn't a full hit breakfast but I'd say it was a step above continental. If you wanted to eat something quick and fast that is open 24 hrs the hotel is located right to a Jack in the Box.

Location is about 15 minutes from the arena. Breakfast need more healthy and hearty items. The pull out sofa bed was very uncomfortable. Front desk staff never acknowledged my family when leaving or entering the hotel. Request a room away from the main street to avoid the road noise. The size of the room was nice, but there was no lock on the bathroom door (what!? ).

Have been there for more than a month. Liked my stay there. Complementary breakfast is good, the gym is decent, Internet connectivity is good, has shuttle service available.

We had a major issue upon arrival the staff was professional and resolved it. Would recommend to family and friends.

This is a clean, quiet place to stay with a full kitchen — which is very nice if you're traveling for an extended period of time. Friendly, helpful staff.

This was the first time I'd stayed at a Larkspur, and the experience was nice. The breakfast, included in my room price, was simple yet tasty enough, and the room was nice. They managed to do a lot with a relatively small amount of space, and the kitchenette was spacious and fully functional. The bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly. The room was quiet as well.

The rooms are very large and spacious, would be great for a family! Staff at the front desk was very friendly! We had everything we needed, full kitchenette, dining room table, livingroom/TV area. The bedroom and bathroom were very large. Parking was convenient. Would have given this hotel 5 stars if we wouldn't have found black hairs on the bed pillows. It made us concerned for the cleanliness of the rest of the room. Otherwise, Great place!

Helped a customer move in to the hotel. The hotel looked neat and the staff seemed good. The room was very clean and was very nice looking.

Staff was helpful and rooms were clean. Breakfast was decent. Being able to print boarding passes from one of their computers was helpful.

Larkspur is great. The rooms are pretty large especially for the money. The bathroom has a sliding door, which my fiancé didn't like, but all in all there isn't much to stack against the place. Our room had a queen size bed, full bathroom, single vanity, and a full kitchen. The full size fridge was nice because we drink a lot of water so putting a gallon jug in the fridge was a lot easier than when we have a tiny mini fridge. The cable was limited but all was forgiven because Wi-Fi is free and it was fast enough to stream youtube and Netflix. Definitely would recommend to others.
