Review of Beach Street Inn and Suites 2*

This place is wonderful for anyone who likes sitting on the patio and watching the ocean. It is within a short walk of the Boardwalk, Wharf and Beach. I would warn anyone who has an issue with climbing not to book the first tier (as we did) since it requires lugging ones baggage down a steep driveway or stairs but once you get there the view is worth it. We were lucky, Linsey at the front desk helped us haul our stuff to the room, offering to do another load for us if needed. (She carried the heaviest suitcase plus extra) She also took care of another issue for us, men doing remodeling or updating work outside our patio door (we were there during the off season so this is to be expected). She told us that we would be given a small adjustment on our bill for the disturbance but when we checked out we had to ask for it, thinking that she must have just forgotten since she did do her best to make our stay a pleasant one. The place across the street, Ideal coffee house served very good food and has specials a few times a week that are worth a visit. (service was great). We did order out a couple of times for pizza and chinese and found the food dull and not worth the money better to go out. If you want there is a little market a few steps away for those little snacks etc you may find you want or need. I also want to mention that before coming here, after booking, I made a pest of myself with calls to ask question after question about the place and all my question were answer nicely and not rushed but in detail and with patience by the gentleman who answered the phone. (make sure you get ice by the office before you head on down to your room LOL).
