Super friendly staff. Wonderful food and spacious rooms!

The food there is spectacular. The amenities, no so much.

I stayed at Kenmore for a month and the experience has been unbeatable. It's not a 5 star hotel, but you feel at home. I chose the option of single room with bathroom and great, clean and very spacious. Includes breakfast, which in San Francisco I think is something almost essential and also the dinner (always delicious, the cook, Mario is the best of the residence! ). And as for the location also great, close to the center and everything in general.
Definitely if I go back to San Francisco my accommodation will be in Kenmore.

A wonderfully affordable housing option, you might not get a full apartment but the price is unbeatable for a clean, safe room.

While the rooms are big and they don't lack features (TV, Wifi, plenty of storage space, fridge, Places to work), the the overall cleanliness can be improved. Especially the public bathroom. The Staff is very friendly and helpful. You get every day room service aswell. Dinner and Breakfast ist outstanding ranging from simple meals to Restaurant level. Considering the price I can recommend Kenmore to anyone that isn't too picky about how clean the place is.

Downscale lodging for budget longer term stays. Not a tourist hotel.

Have alot of rules such as signing friends in, quiet hours, leaving your key at the front desk, and a few others. It was a nice quiet place. Don't recommend if you are looking to be social.

For the price this place is great. I sprung for my own room and bathroom which came to 75 per night. Already it's better than what was comparable in the price range which was someone's couch on air b&b. It includes meals that are actually pretty good. At least diner quality food with vegetarian options and healthy salads. My room is super clean and the hotel has a quiet environment.

Excellent old victorian city charm — not for the big-chain hotel users. Many international students stay here. I don't take advantage of the food offerings, so I cannot offer any evaluation on that. The staff are very friendly and have been very accomodating. The assistant manager, Cory is a wealth of information about local businesses and shops. If you need to stay in the city for a week or two and enjoy the old victorian charm, then you will like this place. If you are fussy and don't like people, then look at Holiday Inn or Marriot. For local charm, this is the best neighborhood I have ever encountered in the Bay Area. Short walk to Japantown and the Fillmore on one side of the hill, Van Ness on the other, and the best views in the city from the top of the hill by walking up Octavia.
