ANTS ANTS ANTS ANTS ALL OVER! EWWWWW SUPER GROSS! DEFINITELY NOT A HILTON GUARANTEE at this property! Everything was fine until I woke up the next morning and turned on the lights to find a ridiculously amount of ants all over the room. It was all over the desk, the floor, the AC, it got onto the bed and my stuff that was located near the TV. The pics don’t do it justice because I only took videos of it BUT it isn’t just this it’s also the fact that I spoke with the front desk and they basically didn’t care nor did they show any empathy towards my situation like SHES USE TO GETTING CALLS ABOUT ANTS FROM GUEST. WTF! Horrible! Then the housekeeping comes up and “cleans” the area but when they left I checked and there were STILL ANTS EVERYWHERE. Smh I pack my things and come down to speak to the manager and they say “SHE WILL CALL YOU” uhhhh noooo she will speak to me and Comp both my rooms. It doesn’t matter I had food in my room, it doesn’t matter that I also work for Hilton and got the employee rate and it doesn’t matter that I only stayed 1 night I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR A ROOM WITH ANTS ALL OVER THE ROOM. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY AT ALL and if you do make sure you double check CHECK the room for bugs ants whatever it may be.

We booked a room online with a king sized bed for 2 adults. The website said the hotel included several amenities such as room service, a restaurant inside the hotel, pool and full open bar. Upon arrival a woman was informing the front desk representative that the towels and sheets in her room had blood on them. The front desk rep asked if she had taken pictures and ultimately offered her another room. We checked in and then the rep informed us that there would be a $20 parking fee to park at the hotel overnight. Then he proceeded to explain that the pool, bar, restaurant and room service were not available at the time. He mentioned that some nearby hotels might allow us to swim if we explained to them that our pool was not accessible. Once we got to our room we noticed that it was very dirty. There were food spots on the table and nightstands, the bath tub had rust spots on it and the lights had a thick layer of dust on them. There was only one towel in the room which I found bizarre. Normally I don't like to complain or leave a negative review but this room was visibly filthy and looked as though room service had put zero effort into cleaning it. We ended up getting a room on a different floor that was significantly cleaner and had plenty of towels. The bed was even made better. I'm not sure why they would put more effort into cleaning certain rooms opposed to others but I hope that they assess the situation appropriately so that their guests have a comfortable stay.

Being able to attend the annual cosplay cons, getting pictures and videos taken while in my costume and having soooo much fun, having a countless number of adventurous memories in which I'll always be looking forward too in the future.

Pro: on site parking, public restroom, across street from fudruckers & panera restaurant, has convention center.
con: $19/day parking but is next door to Home Depot if just need to park couple hours.

It's a hotel for high schoolers! so loud and we also continued to be profiled by a lot of the evening and night staff. We will not be staying here again.

I have never been more disappointed in a hotel than I was this one. The beds were so small (we got a room with two beds) my husband and I have slept many times on a double but this one was horribly smaller. I ended up sleeping on the floor. Our view was the AC units that I’m pretty sure is what made the room smell like burnt plastic. The neighbors dog barked constantly, we were door bell ditched (knocking) at 12 am and a group of girls were running from room. It woke my grand daughter up… then to top it off the maid walked in at 10:45 (checkout for us want until 1) I have paid less money for a beach view in Tahoe. I will NEVER stay there again. Oh and when checking in the girl was very rude. Not to mention we pid $40 to park our car there. Never again!

A nice surprise for a one night stay during a long roadtrip. Modern place, top notch service. Nice room, comfy bed, awesome pillows. Our breakfast was included and that was so-so. I would recommend this hotel!

I've stayed in multiple Hilton brand hotels and this one is very nice. I've hit gold status with Hilton Honors so I really enjoy the complimentary upgrade I received here that comes with access to the lounge on the 10th floor. Breakfast in the morning, drinks and snacks in the afternoon. It's also quiet so I've gotten some good rest while staying here for a business trip which required me to be up at different very early hours. I'd stay here again without question.

Hotel rm can be set up better. We required a handicapped accessible rm and it was fairly small to accommodate a wheelchair. Room in general is a bit inefficient b/w layout, trash bins and lighting. I am usually a fan of Hilton's but unfortunately this one I wasn't. I do have to say is the customer service is excellent and very responsive!

Very nice property with complete amenities. Very food restaurant, wine bar and lobby bar. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Can handle events, like weddings and conferences. Great location, too.

Not a bad hotel. The lobby was beautiful, the rooms were nice and beds comfortable. The staff was good for the most part. We were left at the BART station longer than need be due to them not answering the phone for 20 minutes. I don't even know how that is even possible at 10:30PM either. They cleaned our rooms every night, but one day glasses were not replaced nor was the ice bucket. I'm allergic to lavender and all their bath and body products had lavender in them. They did have a replacement item for washing my hands so that was plus. Charging for Wi-Fi and parking is an absolute joke though. Your using their hotel.

Gorgeous hotel, convenient location, lots of shops and restaurants around the location. Employees are extremely helpful. Stayed for 2 days 1 night for a conference. Love how they have my gym right across the street. Their pool is nice and Jacuzzi is hot and relaxing. Great experience.

Nice location close to the highway and shopping center. Rooms could use some updating but they're comfortable and clean. Nice air conditioners in each unit.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable but I had a few issues. First, neither the trash can in the bathroom or the room had a bag in it so I had to use the mini bag from the ice container. The front desk sent someone up with a bag but it wasn’t the one for the little trash can but instead, it was a giant black trash bag. Also, the faucet in the shower was just about hanging off the wall. I was worried about pushing the lever down that turns of the shower out of fear that I might break it. Another thing was the pillows. They look big and fluffy and comfortable but they have no neck or head support at all. I believe they were feather or down pillows so they go flat as soon as you lay your head on them, even with two put together. Kind of defeats the point of a pillow in my opinion. The bed however was very comfortable. My last concern seems to be common one for this hotel… the $19 overnight parking fee. It seems to me that if you charge hundreds of dollars a night for a room at the Hilton, you can provide at least a night or two of free parking. Other than those few things, my stay was fine.

I went to the Hilton Concord for a work event & was pleasantly surprised how friendly the staff was. The ballroom was cleanly & the Mexican style food was great. The only thing I did not care for was that we had to pay for parking, however other than that I was pleased with the hotel.

Beautiful staff helpful kind. Rooms are big clean comfortable. There place to do work computers a bar a spa. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

Love this hotel! The rooms are spacious, clean and the beds are cozy. The executive lounge was well stocked and accessible for non alcoholic beverages all day. The staff was kind, helpful and informative.

My husband and I, love this place. Nice and welcoming. Everyone treats us as if they’ve known us for years. We spend a lot of time here for my husbands work, and just to get away. The restaurant and the restaurant manager are top notch. I’d recommend this place to everyone.

Lets start with the parking. Very easy in and out. Really close to the front door as Well. There is also a valet here. Next, when you walk in it's really nice inside. Very spacious and well decorated. This location has many amenities. Pool, jacuzzi, multiple bars, and a restaurant. The rooms are really nice. I had a singel king room. Looks as if it was recently remodeled. My only gripe was the house keeping came a knockin at like 7:45am.

Great hotel… it's a Hilton. It hits everything on the mark from cleanliness to customer service. Happily greeted from the moment you step out your car to your room.

We stayed here overnight for a short business trip. The outside of the building is unassuming. Those that persist will find a clean, modern and comfortable standard they should expect from Hilton. Rooms were nice and recently remodeled. Our desk staff was friendly (and quite perky given the late hour of our arrival). I plan to stay here again when I make my next trip to Concord.

At a large leadership meeting for my company. The staff was amazing. The food was fantastic! Everything was on point and one of the better experiences I've had using an external site for a meeting.

Clean nicely appointed rooms. It was the second time I've been there for the Glazier Coaching Clinic. They have a nice brunch in the restaurant for a very reasonable price. I will definitely return in the future.

It's a good Hilton property; however, the rooms need to be updated with better amenities. I found my shower to be a bit dirty and that's a big turn off when staying in a hotel. Staff was very attentive and friendly lobby area seemed very comfy.

Valet was quick and friendly and the event I was attending was nice. Comfortable table and seating. Breakfast was pretty good. I didn't have a chance to explore the hotel to give a thorough review but what I did see was nice. Location is convenient and easy to find as well.

Before staying here we called in ahead of time to ask if they had a hot tub, and were told no they do not. Well once we got here they do. Wi-Fi is sorta slow. Breakfast… we were told by the front desk three times that breakfast started at 6:00 am once we had been waiting for ten minutes we asked the front desk and they said 6:30, so we waited… and waited… and waited… we did not see the restaurant open until 7 and did not get our food until 7:15

Was attending a wedding in the ballroom, and had a great experience. The staff was friendly, and the hotel was clean and organized. I enjoyed the event, although waiting staff took a while responding to a few requests. Overall positive experience.

The renovation that happened a few years ago really added some character and amenities to this hotel. A great location, central to a lot of activities within the Contra Costa Valley area. This is a fantastic location with new shops being added to the surrounding area will make this even more attractive for guests.

I am never disappointed about their food and service! We had my Dad's 90th bday here in 2013 and we booked 4 rooms. Everything went smoothly. We were accommodated in one floor per our request and the service was awesome! Yesterday, my family celebrated our thanksgiving feast here and it was just fabulous just like in 2013! Their thanksgiving buffet was so good, especially the salmon. We had the best service ever and we were not rushed! I would highly recommend this place in a heartbeat.

The hotel, it's rooms and facilities are nice enough for the area and price point. However, on my last stay my car was broken into, while parked in the gated parking lot and my bags were stolen out of my SUV tailgate area. The hotel provided the bare minimum level of service to assist. They had no camera angle on the section of the lot where my car was parked. They were unwilling to provide me with transportation to the rental car lot to pick up a new car. The security staff I dealt with where very inexperienced and didn't notice a spotter car cruising around the lot who I ran off. Talking with the local police it's not the first break-in in this lot and with the lax security practices I see why. Do not stay here with a vehicle and do not leave anything of value in your vehicle if you do stay here. I will not be back.

Attended a large all day meeting for work. Facilities were very nice. Technology worked well. Glasses and water were provided and trash was occasionally picked up. Catering was pretty good.

It's a nice hotel. Well kept and the the restaurant is an added bonus. The pool is pretty nice and the Wi-Fi works pretty much everywhere in the hotel. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

The room felt upscale and clean with a great view of the valley, the pool was nice and the service was kind and attentive. Would recommend it you're in the area.

Terrible customer service. My girlfriend forgot her credit card and since she was staying there 2 days she thought she just needed it when checking out. "Come on" it was a 50 class reunion we're a bunch of old people. Yet when she asked me to use my credit card until she could get her CC back to them, I did. So the hilton ending up charging my credit card and her credit card. After I call them they gave me excuses like, well we need to make sure the room is not trashed (didn't use that word) but you get the story. We are not rock stars and should not keep our money for 72 hours for nothing. I would not go there again and will see if we can go to a place that really appreciates our business. You've been warned. Terrible pace. Ali C.

Pretty nice hotel. Nice swimming pool and jacuzzi and 2 bars for the grown ups. Near a bunch of restaurants and shops within walking distance.

Nice rooms, staff and overall location. Very accommodating during my extended stay. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay here anytime im in the area for work or pleasure. Down side is the coffee area they set out in the morning is lacking any effort… but hey its free right. Also if you are here for an extended stay and need laundry services take a few minutes to find a laundrymat around town as their service is a bit overpriced. Their executive lounge is a bit small too… but hey its free.

They won us over instantly by checking us in at 9:30 am at no extra charge. My friend and I had expected to just drop off our luggage and bide our time until 3. Beds were super comfortable. The Executive Room cost only $25 more and includes access to the Executive Lounge. This offers a full on breakfast buffet — a $17 value per person — plus free wine, beer and hors d'oeuvres in the evening. You also get a room on one of the top floors. I highly recommend this option.

Hilton loves to play the rate game… Even with their high rev loyal Diamonds. I had a last minute change to my itinerary, and I had to cut my 2 night stay down to 1. The front desk agent rudely informed me that would then up my rate from $149 to $199 with no real explanation instead of a mumbled "you will have a rate change" I never have this treatment from Marriott, and I am being pushed back to them very quickly. This is a standard mid tier Hilton with dated decor and very worn facilities. The rooms were the mid 90s design with the built in couch on one wall which is a strange room design. The rooms were clean and comfortable, however, but the executive lounge is way too small for a hotel of this size and was overcrowded during breakfast. The fitness center was in good shape with newer equipment and was kept clean. Overall a fair hotel that was married with a very poor customer service policy, so be aware.

This place is awesome. Love the pillows and beds. If you have the access, the Hilton Lounge is well stocked in the mornings and afternoon/early evening.

I am a casino party Vending Company where my clients rent Hotel space the load-in and Lowdown is always very easy to staff in this sales and Catering are great with giving the information very polite call back very attentive so I would give this hotel definitely an A+ rating my vendors were comped to park their cars so therefore there was no expense the ballroom was nice and big and clean and at the end of our function it was cleaned up properly and by the time I was finished packing up the ballroom was completely empty great staff rate parking great all-around 5 stars.

Great room. Checked in super late and was given a late check out of 2pm… much needed rest.

Concord Hilton is located in a great area with a shopping center directly across from it. We had the deluxe suite and it was perfect for the bacherolette party. There was plenty of space. As well as a large kitchenette area. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. I definitely would recommend Concord Hilton to stay at.

I always stay at the Concord Hilton when I am in town. Maria and her front desk team are always so friendly and helpful. It is one of the most most comfortable hotels in the entire bay area which I heartily recommend to others!

My stay was brief (2 days and 2 nights) but mostly enjoyable. I was there on government travel and my reservation was made as such. I checked in and showed my government ID. When I was checking out at 0300, the night supervisor (Mabel) was incredibly rude. I verified my room rate was within per diem with her and she said that unless I have my tax exempt form, I would not be getting the government rate. She essentially called me a liar by saying, "everyone has a government ID". Then she went on to say that, "everyone claims to be on government travel". I told her that I do not have a "tax exempt form" nor have I ever been required to have one. She then told me, "I have been doing this for 10 years and it is our policy that you must show that in order to get the government per diem rate. " I called Hilton Honors who told me that the policy states that I should show either my government ID or the tax exempt form. I told him that I showed it when I checked in but Mabel wouldn't look at it when checking out because she thinks I am lying about the purpose of my stay. He transferred me to another section for assistance but they weren't open at zero dark thirty. The automated message hung up on me after stating that I should call back later. I will recommend that we stay at a different hotel in the future.

The meeting rooms are appropriate for the size of this conference. Breakfast was served promptly and wait staff were very accommodating. There was no afternoon coffee service, but that may have been the choice of the conference sponsor. Parking is easy, as is access to the freeway. Restrooms were clean and well maintained.

FALSE PROMISES The staff at this hotel make false promises over the phone. I called and made a reservation for a friend's honeymoon, and asked if I could pay for it, and was very specific about the fact That I would not be there. Then when the bride and groom were checking in to the hotel, they said I needed to be there in person for them to charge my card. The staff was "friendly" enough over the phone, but that counts for nothing when lying to your guests. The bride and groom had to pay for their own stay. Also, the honeymoon package that we had ordered was missing the things promised in the package. I've made six phone calls now trying to get the situation resolved, and it's been hassle after hassle after hassle. Hotel staff continue to make promises that they fail to deliver. I would not recommend this experience to anyone. Thank you Hilton for narrowing my options for the next time I send someone on a honeymoon. You will not be on the list.

We visited the Hit on for a school function. The premises were clean and staff was very helpful. This location offered valet attendants that offered us assistance in finding a good place to park, and then retrieving it the next day. The food served was tasty and fresh. Very happy overall with our evening.

I am disappointed with my recent visit to the Concord Hilton. I stayed there the end of April 2016 for 2 nights. The first night, at bedtime, I pulled back my sheets to climb into bed and there was a piece of old dried up food in the bed. I brought the food down to the front desk to complain and show them what I found. They offered to change the sheets right away (thank you! ) however, they made no effort to compensate me in any other way. To me, changing the sheets was the absolute bare minimum thing they could have done to compensate such a horrendous "fail" on their part. Did they not understand how disgusting the episode was to their client? Even the cheapest motel/hotel would have offered to change the sheets. For a "nicer" hotel, they should have gone above and beyond to apologize for that travesty. I'm very disappointed in their lack of customer service.

I never went into a sleeping room, nor got any service (aside, I assume, from the food). I went for an ECHO conference. The hallways were nicely decorated; the rooms we were using for the central meeting and for classrooms were useful sizes and shapes, and not obtrusively decorated (that is, I noticed little or nothing about them because I was focusing on the people). The only interaction I had with Hilton staff was to ask directions at the front desk. So, it was fine, I didn't pay much attention to the hotel; if it had been bad I would have noticed, but it worked fine for this conference.

Convenient location. Staff is world class, and atmosphere and rooms are excellent. Executive lounge amenities and staff are especially outstanding. Recommended!

I just wasted an hour of my life trying to give this Hilton location my business. I am sending an employee to a conference in Concord. I had a hotel room booked online through my Hilton Honors account. I added my colleague as an "additional guest". When I called to make sure that my employee could check in, I was told that the hotel must charge her card, and there was nothing I could do to have them charge my card instead. I was told that I could purchase a "prepaid room" online. When I tried to do that, I was told they were all sold out. The suggestion I was given by John the manager was to buy the room on expedia or some other online hotel site. He was not able to do anything else because of "security reasons". So John's solution to my problem of wanting to give him my business was to give my business to another company… Which is what I did. I cancelled my reservation and booked a room with Crowne Plaza around the corner.

Very clean, very nice environment. The business center is fully equipped. Had a meeting in one of their meeting rooms. The room was not too cold, as they usually are. The staff was friendly and helpful in showing us to our meeting room. Great experience.

I was @ the Hilton for a football clinic. Didn't stay there. That being said what interaction I did have with the hotel staff was excellent. They were helpful and in general cheerful. They do have an excellent restaurant.

Clean, convenient location close to highway. Parking is a bit expensive. Lots of eating options at the mall across the way.

The Hilton Concord was clean and the staff was professional. I was particularly impressed with the modern technology upgrades to their elevators and rooms since the last time I stayed there. The in-room Internet was temperamental at first but had reasonable performance. The food was a bit overpriced, but well within the norm for a hotel. The location was good and I had a nice view of the creek behind it (too bad I could also hear hammering in the afternoon from the construction across from it).

We were late coming back from a Christmas party, and the next morning slept past the breakfast hour, so they refused to serve us any food saying it was too late for breakfast but too early for lunch! What?! Who does that?! I've never stayed at any Hilton that ever wouldn't serve food at certain hours! And we've stayed at Hiltons all across the world including HongKong, New York, and South America, not one has ever refused to serve food in late morning. Their is a restaurant downstairs so no reason to not be able to serve their guests, if Denny's were located downstairs, they would have no problem serving breakfast and dinner at anytime! Isn't Hilton supposed to be higher class then Denny's?! Well Concord CA Hilton certainly is not! I think many guests staying at a hotel are on holiday may sleep in, it is a very standard service to offer food service on the guests schedule, not the hotel's. Ok, to update — we slept late this morning (11:30am Sunday) and this morning there was no problem when ordering breakfast room service. We had hot pot of coffee, oatmeal, oj, eggs & turkey sausage, toast, & they were pleasant and extremely fast to deliver our food. So maybe they changed the no late breakfast policy overnight? Or maybe Sunday's have a different schedule then Saturday's? Either way — My star review was changed a few points up because we are happy with our stay now.

The hotel had a very nice appearance inside and out, with the rooms being exceptional. The hotel has improved leaps and bounds since the last time I stayed here 5 years ago.

Was there for a conference. Food and service was good. Not enough bathroom though.

The rooms are very nice the restaurant is very great the Wi-Fi is so so get in OK internet connection but not enough speed to even look at websites if it has to load pictures the majority of the staff is friendly although there are some rude staff members when you call the front desk.

Ryan the front desk manager is great! His customer service skills are excellent very accommodating attentive and hospitality was welcoming. This hotel is nice and clean I highly recommended.

Whatever you do avoid room 225. Or any room facing the pool for that matter. They have placed a speaker directly below the window and they blare music all night long. It was the worst night of sleep I have had in a really long time. Then when we talked to the manager about it he blamed it on us saying we should have told him about it during the night. I would have liked to but I didn't know where the music was coming from at 3 am. I usually never leave reviews but this experience was bad enough to merit a response.

Damn good hotel. Not sure about the handful of reviews less than 5 stars, those people must have just had a bad day or something. This hotel is awesome! Nice, clean, modern, and in a great location. The lobby bar was hoppin' busy, great local beer on tap, good food too! This is definitely the hotel to be at in this area.

Typically I like Hiltons. I would have rather stayed in a tent than relive my stay at this Hilton. I was able to shower and sleep here, which is why I gave it one star. The few people I talked to at the front desk were horribly unhelpful and inhospitable. One of my family members got bitten by a spider the first night there (each bite swelled up the size of a marble). We wanted to get her a new room, the front desk associates weren't going to accommodate us because we booked our stay through Groupon. They billed us for additional breakfasts. The list goes on. Basically, a few things happened during our stay that weren't problematic or a big deal but when we approached an employee about a problem they went defensive and made it a big deal. Not classy.

Think twice before booking at this particular Hilton. The management is rude and the service is horrible. I stayed for 3 days and had issues with the service every day! It was really ridiculous and disappointing. What was supposed to be a fun family vacation turned into the worst stay ever. When I asked to talked to the manager I was told in a very rude manner that I was already speaking to the manager and she refused to do anything accept be condescending. I have never witnessed such bad customer service. When I called the 2nd day and asked for the manager I was told she left for the day, which was a total lie. I called back shortly and she answered! The room I booked on line wasn't the one I reserved and I was told there was nothing they could do, no apology, nothing. I used some of my honor points for this HORRIBLE hotel. What a waste.

With the exception of the valets, everyone we encountered were particularly rude. When asked to see a manager we were told they wouldn't be in — I have never even heard of a place with no manager on duty. The rooms are miserably small, and the beds not very comfortable. The pillows were all the same — very hard. The bathroom was so small that it was difficult to get in and close the door. (And I am a thin person) There was no bathroom fan, just a small inefficient vent. Upon arriving, after booking the room online, there was an extra $100.00 worth of (incidental) charges per night — so be sure to add that on to any price quoted to you over the phone or online. There is a fee for high speed internet also — not listed with the other extra charges, and the hot tub was out of order. I suppose this experience was made worse by the contrast of the motel we had just stayed in the night before which had a larger more comfortable room — about twice the size — and cozy beds and pillows — each one a different thickness and degree of hardness. There was complimentary high speed internet and a nice fitness center. It also had heated pool and hot tub with an incredible continental breakfast.

Casual, comfortable, stylish, convenient service oriented, great location.

This hotel went through some major restoration, and I stayed there once. One morning, at ~5.30AM there was consistent, loud, ice-cracking like noise in the hallway, so I stepped out and there was a guy (contractor) working at 5.30AM. Anyways, when I asked him to slow it down a notch, he started walking towards me with the tools in his hand and shouting that he didn't have the luxury to sleep at this time so neither should anyone. I (and bunch of other folks that woke up to the noise) had to get back to our rooms rather than confront the lunatic contractor that this Hilton hired. I explained what happened to the front desk, and nothing happened (no compensation offered).

On 12/31 at the Hilton Concord there is what is claimed to be the biggest and best Elegant New Years Eve Party in the Bay Area. They have a band in one huge banquet room, a DJ in another and complimentary casino gaming in yet another.
