Incredible staff all around. From the front desk to the food and beverage team. They have a great hot fresh made breakfast/buffet with a good selection of all 4 food groups. Small menu for dinner but food was delicious. Indoor pool 🏊‍♀️ exercise gym and outdoor fire pit at night. Definitely a 5 star in my book.

I give this hotel a great great review everything good except for now there's no food really the restaurants kind of bland I haven't had breakfast there yet but then again it they say it's supposed to be good if they even still have any the place itself is nice air conditioner couple you got a little couple managers to think they live higher than they should and complain about things but then again I was in the wrong too I left my vehicle out there for 2 days in the front of the hotel like I was you know there's no valet right now so yeah they got a good reputation.

Rooms were good, but as we went to have breakfast I slipped on some food left on the ground where the passage way to the breakfast area is and fell over a metal chair hitting my ribs. I fell on my knee as well and left with it swollen. The whole thing happened in front of a lot of guests and employees which was pretty embarrassing. I spoke to Irlanda Serrano at the front desk and she sarcastically ask if I need an ambulance. She didnt even offer to talk to the manager and just charged me the $380 for one night which I feel is not worth it at all.

I can’t wait to come back. Everything was so beautiful and staff was amazing.

Super-friendly staff, beautiful common area, delicious continental breakfast, and spacious room with separate living quarters.

The premium suite (one with a Murphy bed) is very nice and clean. Very comfortable too. My only complaint is that we called room service for, utensils and glasses, to go with a meal we ordered in. We never received our utensils or glassware. I was very disappointed with the lack of response to our simple request.

The good: Breakfast is awesome. There something for everyone. They even have made-to-order omelet chefs! The rooms are nice and roomy with a separate living room area. The bad: Parking is $30 night (yes, even if you have a room with them they still charge $30 a night). And the hotel shuttle to the airport costs $15 per person. The ugly: We were told by the front desk clerk that the shuttle cost $50. Then when we told her that the Embassy website said it was $15, she blustered and finally admitted she didn't know. But she was totally willing to give us wrong information without knowing what she was talking about. That said, all the other staff we talked with were very helpful and friendly.

Room was clean and nice. They throw in another $30 for parking but you have no choice but to pay, beware. The complimentary drinks were so slow. They only had one bar tender, it may be by design. The breakfast was late for the buffet but the custom order line, while long, moved quickly. Overall it was good.

Really awesome experience and would highly recommend it. There's a PF changs in the same parking lot. There's a bunch of EV chargers including 2 or 3 Tesla proprietary ones. Happy hour with free beer and wine from 530 to 730 and a pretty decent breakfast. Rooms are nice, clean, and well laid out. Would recommend!

The location based on my trip was perfect. The hotel itself was nice, the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was included for Hilton Honors guests. It was good food, omlets, fresh eggs, bacon, fruit, bread, juices, etc. The rooms were spacious. Decor and bathrooms were a little dated. Old style fiberglass tub. The bed was atrocious. It was so stiff it was almost like sleeping on a table. The pillows were so soft the offered no support. Asked for "stiffer" pillows and they offered foam ones that again we're so soft your head sank right through them. The AC could not get cold enough at 70 degrees that it ran constantly through the night. No need for a wake up call, construction next door starts up at 5:30am and clear as day, even on the top floor. The pool and hot tub were nice, and by the end of the week, needed after sleeping in that bed. A few upgrades and this place could be really nice. But, I'll take a short ride to work over an uncomfortable sleep.

The customer service here is fabulous. We received a text everyday asking about how our stay was going. The bed was comfortable and the rooms were clean. The complimentary food was DELICIOUS. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Embassy Suites are nice and clean. The staff at the bar and kitchen very attentive. This Hotel charges $12.00 a day for using the Internet unless you book directly with them. In addition there is a $31.00 daily fee for parking. Also the cleaning of the rooms could be improved. Overall, I was not impressed with the service and I end up paying 35% more a night than originally expected.

It is the worst stay we have ever had at an embassy suites. Checkin was a nightmare. Reservations were made by the main reservation number since I was using points for one free night and staying a total of 6 nights. There was a mix up on the day the reservation started. According to their record we were a day late. And the reservation was canceled. Said hotel was a sale out. Then they said they had one room but would cost $80 more per night. They would not give us the rate we booked for. Said room not ready, even though all other guest got their room right away. Said they would text us when room was ready. Never received text. 2 hrs later went back and they had room ready. There were high pitch noises in the first room. Maintenance could not figure it out. Gave us another room. A/C made loud noise. Sent us to room number 3. The A/C made a loud noise, maintenance said was normal. It is very loud in the bathroom. We elected to try to deal with noise. I have a recording of the noise. No liner for ice bucket for 4 days. They have a card to put on bed if you want sheets changed. Used it one night and then card disappeared. Many other issues. Bring ear plugs if you stay here. Wish I could figure how to attach recording of noise. William.

My family is on a roadtrip from Florida. Our original room was switched due to very loud kids slamming doors and screaming nextdoor—we are traveling with two young daughters but still found it to be intolerable because we’ve raised our children not to act that way. (It’s one star for them moving us). The young lady at the front desk asked if we’d like a cake sent to our room for our daughter’s 10th birthday, for which I excitedly said yes… it never came. No mini fridge, but an entire sink/cabinet area in the living space? We’ve never stayed at an Embassy suites not having a mini fridge and microwave… $30 wasted on cheese and sandwich meats thinking we’d get the usual fridge here! The long line for hot breakfast items was ridiculous. We stay in Embassy Suites often in Orlando—the most touristy area we are familiar with—and never stay in lines like that. Our seats were almost taken from us more than 3 times while we sat for breakfast—when one was up to gather something else. We went to the beach all day and came back to a room un-serviced (it was close to 3pm) … forcing all of us to shower and use a hand towel to dry off to get ready for an evening out. Parking is EXPENSIVE and our first night here, we were forced to park at the absolute top space in the parking garage. This hotel wasn’t even located close to the things we did both days. Very disappointed!

This hotel had some great services and amenities such as a made to order breakfast that my whole family loved, as well as quick grab and go food. In the evening we enjoyed the on site restaurant where I’d highly recommend the burgers and street tacos! PF Chang’s is also conveniently located in the same parking lot with a mall and other restaurants across the street. There was also a live band one evening. The lobby/atrium area were very nice with an indoor koi pond and kids can feed the fish every morning, which my daughters loved! We used the indoor pool and outdoor hot tub numerous times as well. Unfortunately with as great as everything else about the hotel was, the beds were incredibly firm and we didn’t get very good sleep during our 4 night stay. Since this is the most important part of why we all use hotels, I had to drop my rating to a 3. If the hotel was the confirm that they upgraded the mattresses, we would stay here again in a heartbeat. But until they do, we would likely choose another hotel.

Beautiful hotel in La Jolla that is close to downtown San Diego and Carlsbad. All of the rooms are suites, so there is plenty of room for the whole family and/or additional sleeping space since the couch can turn into a bed. There is a daily made to order breakfast (pancakes, omelets, bacon, etc. ) and manager's reception, which includes beer, wine, and mixed drinks. The staff is friendly and the hotel is very clean. Parking is extremely expensive, but there is plenty of free parking on the street. Great place to stay on your next visit!

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and polite. The problem I had was logistics. They had my reservation, they said to wait for my room to be prepared, they promised to text. I waited for two hours. I checked with them multiple times during that time, but was told repeatedly soon, it would be soon. I couldn't leave to do something else as I had no idea what the problem was, and so did I need alternative lodging for my prepaid reservation. I still do not have the slightest idea what the problem was. Breakfast was nicely done with multiple choices that includes cereal, eggs and fruit.

I booked for July, then I canceled. I still have the cancellation conformation stating that I will not be charged. It's now May and they just charged my credit card for the room. Even if they decided to charge me after all, why in May when my stay was in July? It's fraudulent. Keep an eye on your credit card if you stay here.

The hotel is quite expansive, and rooms are spacious. Rooms were well-maintained and quiet clean. Standard American breakfast is included. However I did not like the extra charges for parking, which was $30 for a night, which seemed quiet high.

Haven't ever stayed here but I've visited numerous times and also use their in hotel avid to rent cars. Hotel is clean and spacious. Right across the street from the newly renovated utc mall so you have many restaurants and stores within walking distance. Close to freeway so you have easy access to other parts of San Diego.

Rooms are huge! But nit only that, they ate confortable and very clean. Pillows are waaay ti soft for my wife's and my taste, but I think this is something personal. They have happy hour with free appetizers and a drink. Right across from high end shopping center.

Hotel for travel or business strategically located close to industrial area and very good connectivity by the roads that surround it. Very well planned Hotel in its distribution and services. Reasonable price and service staff very friendly. Only one point to improve would be that the check in staff could speak Spanish.

I come a lot often to San Diego and always prefer to stay at the Embassy Suites La Jolla. This time I arrived early and I was asked to accommodate one time. I also love the daily happy Hour and the free breakfast in the morning. I recommend this place for stays of pleasure and work.

We really enjoyed our two night stay at this hotel. The hotel at the time was offering a free breakfast which if you wanted to wait in line could be made to order including omelettes and pancakes. If you decide to get the made to order. It is a good idea to get there first thing when the Line opens. If you don't care about the maid to order then it is just fine 2 get from the buffet or when they are busy they have an extra Chef table where they will serve scrambled eggs and egg toast with sausage. There is a nice selection of pastries as well as watermelon, grapefruit, cerial, oat meal, hard boiled eggs, hot chocolate, coffee, orange juice, flavored water, hot tea, etc. They were also offering a complimentary adult beverage and snacks in the evening hours. In the center area there is also a stream pond with large koi fish in it. The lobby is beautiful. There is a smoking area in the front entrance with fire pits. They have the whole first floor Outer Perimeter dedicated to meeting rooms and banquet areas. There is also a bar and lounge. I believe you can order food from the menu there but I am not sure. There are four elevators that are glass and you can see the lobby from. It is worth a trip to go to the top floor and look over the Center area. Please.

The hotel itself is nice but the staff and some of their practices are weird. Make sure you triple check your bill when you check out! When we checked out the front desk staff asked us if we needed a receipt and good thing we said yes because they had charged us $60 for 2 days of parking. When we told them we weren't using a car and never parked there, they just said "oh you didn't park here? I'll take it off your bill". But there was no apology and no explanation as to how the charges got there in the first place. It seems their standard practice is to charge everyone for parking whether you are using it or not and they deduct it only if you catch it. Secondly, they engage in people profiling. We met another couple during happy hour. They were from our home state and had also just checked in. One of them decided to get a free happy hour drink and when she got back she said they had a good selection so I decided to get one too. She said they didn't ask for a room key or anything. Lo and behold my roommate and I went to get a drink and we were asked to show our room key. We did, but then I asked the staff why she would ask for the key from some people and not others and she said she didn't recognize us — yet we had all just checked in. I mentioned this to the front desk when I was checking out and she admitted that they "randomly" asked certain people to show keys and not others. All in all, I will not be returning to this hotel, it almost ruined my visit to SD!

The rooms are large with plenty of space. Good sized bathroom. Soft yet comfortable beds. Only drawbacks are the breakfast is very busy and you have to swipe your room card to get an omelette and the wait for the elevators (and the fact you cannot access the stairs to walk up.

We've been here a few times. The staff are always very friendly. We love that it has two rooms so we can put our children in one room and we can stay in the other. Plus we get free drinks at happy hour and breakfast.

Nice Embassy Suites and I stay here often for work. Friendly staff and appears to be kid friendly. Offers a shuttle within 5 mile radius. Rooms are clean and well kept. Westfield Mall is directly across the street and good location between the 805 and the 5.

Nice place. They made me feel welcome with their friendliness and hospitality. The suite was nice but for the age of the place it seemed dark. Because there aren't lots of options in the area, it's probably one of the better places.

I came here for a conference, so I can only speak to the venue, not the hotel rooms. The open plaza is beautiful, with running water, koi fish, and amble foliage. The bar/restaurant on the lobby floor is well priced and has great service. There are ample event rooms that will meet any need. Overall, an excellent experience.

Great location but poorly trained staff. My wife has disabilities so I called to make arrangements for her to get a ride on the shuttle at 2 PM one day during our stay. I was assured that a shuttle would be available to provide the ride. So, my daughter and I left for an adventure of our own. The ride she needed was not far, but was beyond what she should try. She went to the front desk at 2 PM and was told that they did not have a driver available after 12:30 PM. Needless to say, this was quite a surprise. She explained that we were told that a driver would take her and the response we received was shocking. The employee at the front desk explained to her that where she wanted to go was not far and she needed to walk. Wow, what disrespect and lack of compassion. My wife walked to the location with my son and paid the price. She spent Christmas Eve day in bed recovering for the most part. Thank you Embassy Suites. On to the next problem. The hotel was packed so the breakfast crowd was large. Rather than having hot food on the steam table, they had a loooong line for eggs made to order. 4 out of the 5 days I waited in the line, the order was prepared incorrectly. Other days, I didn't have time to wait. As far as the room, they were nice. However, the mattress was slightly softer than sleeping on the ground. I woke every morning feeling like I had just slept on the ground in a campground. Overall, a huge disappointment for our family.

I was there to visit the property to see about running an event there. It's a beautiful and high end property with state of the art suites. I really appreciated that all tooms are suites so all of our guests can be comfortable. We're looking forward to working with them and seeing how our event goes.

It's an Embassy Suites, and it's in the suburbs, so it meets the criteria of a hotel when traveling for work. Spacious rooms that are pretty bland, but rooms are well-kept. Better than average beds and pillows. Pro Tip: You might try to find parking on the street before committing to paying to park in their garage. If so, street parking is free.

After my wife and I arrived in San Diego for our honeymoon, and her birthday trip and our first hotel was absolutely horrendous. We had to move hotels. I have to say moving hotels was the best thing that could have happened to us. This is an amazing hotel. As someone who has worked in the hotel industry for 20 years I would recommend this hotel to everyone. The hotel is clean, and comfortable. Every employee who we interacted with was friendly and accommodating, from the maintenance man to housekeepers. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and always made a point to say hi. I have to give a huge WOW to Edgar the front desk supervisor who after finding out how bad our trip to San Diego was he made a point thru out the rest of our stay to make sure everything was wonderful. The other person who WOW'd my wife and myself was Andrew from the bar/ restaurant, by our second night there he knew my wife, and I and was always friendly and over the top. He made it well worth going down to the restaurant at the end of a long day.

They have the worst costumer service. Front desk has no idea what they are doing besides on guy I talked to. They charge for parking even if you are not parking at the hotel then you have to wait for your refund after you check out 5-7 days. Before check in I had a few questions and I was transferred 3 or 4 times and put on hold for over 15 min each time just to get disconnected. I asked for a cake to be sent to my sisters room because it was her birthday and to put happy birthday with her name and all they did is bring a slice of cake and didn't even put her name on it or the plate. I would never ever book this hotel I cant believe how unorganized they are and how front desk has no idea whats going on. I do not recommend staying here.

The hotel is a good value especially if you bring kids. The breakfast that's included is a complete hot breakfast with omelette station. Little kids will love feeding the fish that circle the inside of the hotel lounge area. You have to pay $28 for parking but there is free parking on the street, however that's hard to find over a weekend. The location is close to beaches and other restaurants in the area, including a real nice outdoor mall area across the street and in walking distance. Ironing Set Review: For the business traveler, the Ironing Set is slightly above average. Yes, I'm really reviewing the ironing set. Ironing Board 8/10 stars: The ironing board is full length and the fabric is solid (not thin or worn). There is an indentation at the rear of the board but it's manageable. Iron 7/10 stars: The iron itself did not have steam button but had a steam setting. However, the holes wear the steam comes out was dirty and had hard water stains. Overall, the hotel is an affordable hotel in a great location, in a great city.

I came with group for my birthday get a way, Roshel and staff have treated me like a king! I recommend getting a corner room, great view and no foot traffic outside your door. The room was very spacious and comfortable.

Excellent service. Although, parking was $28, you do have the option of parking on the street for free and front desk lets you know that. I stayed here on 9/8 and 9/9 for a Marine graduation. Front desk people were really helpful from beginning to end. We had to rooms 1121 and 1122 on the 11th floor. It was great all around with a great view. Complimentary open bar and late night snacks was on point, as well as breakfast! Special thanks to all the staff, everything was wonderful!

The staff is very accommodating. The free breakfast and happy hour are great, and my kids love the indoor koi pond. The rooms seem a bit older but are still very nice. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. My only minor criticism is how expensive the self-parking is, but I imagine that is in line with the other hotels in the area. I highly recommend this hotel!

Nice place! Clean place and friendly staff. The biggest negative is having to pay $28 per day for parking. Other negatives are relatively small: the fruit water in the lobby had run out twice when I went down to have some, there are 12 floors and elevators will stop at each one and people just shove in not caring that it's full. There are inconsiderate people everywhere but perhaps the hotel could do more to breed a thoughtful understanding with regard to using the elevators.

Hotel accused us of smoking in the room when it absolutely did not happen. Hotel keys continuously stopped working. For 1 night stay I had a total of 6 different keys in a 20 hour period. Location was good. Rooms were nice. Complimentary breakfast was great! Complimentary mid day snacks was awesome as well.

The rooms are perfect for a 5 member family, the location is beautiful and perfect. The service was not perfect, somethings that were requested were not brought until a couple more times of calling.

Love it love it love it. So far I have stayed 1 night out of 3 and it has Ben tremendous. My family and I were able to check in early because we had the Hilton honors program. The Suites felt executive and were very clean. I highly recommend it.

Fine. The parking was a bit of a issue. Ended up spending $45 when I was expecting to spend $25. Garage for hotel was opened but closed. Parked when I got there and before checking we walked over to the mall. Came back to check in and was told not to park in the garage which, when left for dinner cost $20. Parking for everyone made a line of cars waiting to be parked by Valet. Came back and waited 25 mins for someone to talk the car.

Great, beautiful location. Rooms are very large and very clean. Most of the rooms have an excellent view. Hotel service was very accommodating of my rather strange travel schedule. Breakfast is also great.

Don't stay here on a weekend if you want any peace and quiet. They market a family special and it seemed most of the guests when I was there were on that rate. The result was kids running amok in the halls and disrupting the elevators for our entire stay. I don't blame them really, there was nowhere appropriate for them to play. I blame the hotel for being unable to control the situation. If you want to take your kids to LaJolla for the weekend and turn them loose so you can sit in the bar and get drunk, this is the place for you. I complained to Hilton and got a lame response apologizing for the noise in the hallway. It was worse than that, it was chaos.

Great hotel, beautiful lobby and great breakfast buffet with anything you could want included in the price of your stay. I have to especially recognize the honesty of the staff and management. I left a canon camera, value $539.00 by mistake and it was returned with the offer to ship it to me if I did not have anyone to pick it up. I have stayed twice and would stay again when I am in the area! Thanks Embassy!

Beautiful hotel with very spacious rooms. Their manager's reception & cooked to order breakfast are definitely an awesome deal that you have to take advantage of on your stay! Staff was very friendly & you were even able to "text your questions/concerns". Definitely recommend it!

I have been staying at the Embassy Suites in UTC for 1 night so far and everything has been great. We were able to check in early, when we asked for an upper floor room they accommodated the request without issue. They have a great complimentary breakfast, and not a continental breakfast, but a cooked to order omelet and free juice, coffee, and tea. They also have a complimentary happy hour every night.

This is my go-to hotel in that area. Rooms are always great. Breakfast and evening drinks on the house. Across the street from UTC shopping. The only knock is limited parking. Won't stay anywhere else.

The rooms are cookie cutter, but having the windows face into the main atrium is a nice touch. The bar has great star, good food and interesting options on tap. It's coziness is one of the main attractions for this site. The breakfast is decent, but not hard to skip. Parking here is a bit of a pain.

My parents checked into their room and I checked into mine. They came knocking on my door to let me know I should check my sheets. Every sheet in their room was either dirty or soaked in urine. My room had a broken cabinet, the bathroom floor wasn't clean and a few towels had large holes in them. Guy at the front was nice but apparently no one double checks the rooms before letting people check into them.

I LOVED my stay here! It is a beautiful hotel, lush Koi pond, elegant, comfortable and QUIET in the rooms. I heard absolutely nothing. The staff were completely professional and the rooms immaculate. I highly recommend this hotel!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERIVCE… I had made A 2 bedroom premium suite reservations for me and my mom to this hotel a week prior to my arrival for a Kaiser permanente work meeting and when I arrived at the airport I found out they had already sold my room to someone else being that I had gone through a 3rd party reservation, the front desk lady said that there was only 1 room left with 1 king bed and suggested I sleep on a pull out sofa (when I paid $339/night) and the manager Edgar was even worse he suggested I cancel my reservation and go elsewhere since they are booked for the weekend with no apology. My 3rd party customer service department offered to pay for an extra room for the bad customer service and rudeness I was experiencing, the manager Edgar was being nasty with them also and wouldn't co-operate, the elevators were down I had to take the stairs to the 11th floor. I would never stay at this hotel again.

I stayed here because I had to have two brain surgeries and it's close to the hospital. There were a few people that really made me feel at ease. From check in with Yulie to the Lounge with Jenna Hensley and Nicole Svoboda. The meal was great and I had a couple of beers at happy hour. I was made to feel at ease about my surgeries and felt like they cared about the outcome. Thank you and I will stay here again when I come to La Jolla.

WOW! I can not express how amazing staying at this hotel was. The customer service here is second to none. They are always helpful and greeting you with a smile. The concierge was very helpful at pointing out places to shop, run, and places to visit. Quick story. I was planning on proposing to my girlfriend in La Jolla. With ZERO romantic forethought or planning, I asked Julianna at the front desk for help or advise. While I was out popping the question, she and the staff went through and laid out flowers, strawberries, and wine. She even went so far as to lay rose peddles on the floor and in the shape of a heart on the bed! In the morning, they delivered mimosas and a cheese plate to our room. They went so far above and beyond what I could have imagined. (I tried taking the credit but my fiancee saw right through it). I have nothing but excellent things to say. They truly made a special occasion into an unforgettable experience. I will definitely be returning to stay at Embassy Suites at La Jolla.

Positive differentiators from other hotels: * Double rooms with fridge and microwave were nice, although showers with shower curtains seem kind of cheap * Excellent made to order complimentary breakfast * Complimentary drinks at nightly evening reception were also nice although 5:30-7:30 time frame seems way too early for me Things I did not like: * Expensive parking ($20/day) and internet access ($12/day) * Inability to pay for internet for the whole stay. In the current system everyday at some point your internet connection will slow down without giving you any warning or explanation. Your programs think they are still connected but nothing gets through. Then you have to try to trigger a redirect to a the pay site, which after a lot of experimentation I only managed to do by starting a new browser and trying to access Google search (other pages did not work as well due to page caching). Only then you can pay for a single day only. * I could not find a place to get free coffee or tea outside of breakfast time, something I learn to rely on in other hotels Despite of the annoyances it is my first choice around La Jolla.

My company had us stay at the Embassy Suites in La Jolla for our regional training. Instead of driving down on Monday morning in traffic, I opted to stay on Sunday night which turned out to be the best decision ever. I was also supposed to get free Wi-Fi with my corporate rate which my coworker did share with me since I wasn't given the password upon check-in. Otherwise, you have to pay for Wi-Fi which isn't worth it on my floor. The Wi-Fi connection kept going in and out so it was weak at best. I was able to connect via my work laptop but connecting on my iPad was difficult to say the least. The Embassy Suites offers a complimentary breakfast to all guests as well as complimentary drinks during happy hour. They have you swipe your room key to make sure you're a guest and every guest gets 2 keys. Just remember to tip the staff since they work hard. The breakfast reminds me of college dorm food. There are juice and milk dispensers, cereal, oatmeal, danishes, bagels, toast, omelette station, yogurt, and coffee. The omelette station can make you scrambled eggs if you don't want an omelette. They also make pancakes too. Each room is a suite with a living area complete with desk, sofa (pull-out for extra guests), bathroom, private bedroom area, wet bar, 2 flat screen TVs, mini-fridge, Keurig machine and microwave. We had a shuttle scheduled for us everyday to drive us from the Embassy Suites to our company campus.

Awfull! Too many bad behaved kids running around everywhere! Being loud and being a hilton honors member I was put on the 2nd floor! What the hell.

I love the location, and the hotel amenities. Breakfast and happy hour are a big bonus, and although the rooms are fairly spacious, definitely get a room away from the elevators. Our front room (where the kids slept) was very noisy being near the elevators. Get the Sea World package if you can. It included a Shamu stuffed animal for each kid that officially made this the 'best hotel ever'! Pool is a little small for the hotel size but manageable.
