We had a great experience at this hotel… very surprised to see a robot deliver our coffee this morning it was a great surprise for the kids. Due to unforeseen circumstances the staff was kind enough for us to check out late so our kids could do some school work… we would definitely stay here again… rooms are very clean and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice place to stay. Thank you for making our unplanned adventure a success.

Great breakfast before the pandemic. Pool is nice. Robot that brings things to your room is so much fun. Central location for the San Diego Zoo and the San Diego Safari Park.

Very bad service in the process of check In I was waiting for half an hour.

Great staff, super comfy bed. Jacuzzi that’s actually hot! Tucked in nicely with a complementary cup of chamomile tea.
Still have to teach the robot how to give people the right of way. (Especially the maids! )

The Fairfield Inn & Suite was awesome. I had to stay overnight due to work. The gym met all my needs and the front desk staff was very helpful in giving me advice on local restaurants. The complementary hot breakfast was also very delicious with waffles, eggs, omelettes, oatmeal, fruit, juices, and coffee. The pool looked very nice as well. Will definitely jump in next time I'm in town.

Suite room is very clean and well maintained. Free breakfast was great. The hotel has a robot that can get stuff to the room and it's pretty cool.

Every thing at Fairfield Inn & Suites any where my family and I have stayed is PERFECT no problems at all I would say that they rate an 10. Even 100.!

I tried to stay here, but my brother got hospitalized on the trip down! I had to cancel my trip and I was on hold the entire DRIVE back! Marriott has NOT refunded my trip. I had TWO customer service reps hang up on me! And I'm still waiting to hear on my brother's condition! HOW DISRESPECTFUL! Nobody is worried about me as a customer, even when I told the first rep that I was trying to reschedule my trip! I'm so hurt!

Absolutely wonderful customer service, very attentive staff, and great amenities! The hotel was extremely clean, and the room was beautiful. It was equipped with a microwave and refrigerator as well. I was staying in a suite which had a separate seating area and separate TV. The televisions also had Internet TV so I was able to log on to my YouTube and Netflix accounts. The bathroom was spacious and the shower head was amazing! My favorite part of my stay was the room service robot! I was so intrigued that I posted a video on my page. I was traveling on business but I will definitely be back with my family for a personal trip because my kids are extremely excited to utilize the room service robot as well. Thank you to Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott for a wonderful stay and thank you to all of the staff for making it such a great experience.

A very nice Fairfield Inn. It's a new building. The pool and work out room are very nice. It's a great location with a lot of restaurants within a short walk. The staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean.

Very nice and comfortable place to stay. Staying for a week and one day, the service, amenities and housecleaning is My room was always clean on my return each day. It's a beautiful place with artistic beauty and clientele. Peace!

My wife and I recently enjoyed a one night stay at the Fairfield Inn and suites in San Marcos, California. The hotel has 4 floors, a pool and workout room, and free parking. The hotel provides a complete hot breakfast including eggs and waffles, although only served until 9 am on weekdays, which I personally thought ended too early (on Saturday and Sunday breakfast is served until 10 am). Our room was modern, with all the amenities one would expect in a mid-range hotel like this. The room had two queen beds, a desk and desk chair, a moderate size flat screen TV, two dresser drawers for clothes storage and a small ottoman. The closet was on the small side, but adequate for what we needed. The bathroom was large and very well lit, with one sink. The towels were large. A hair dryer was provided. Some additional amenities included a Keurig coffee maker in the room, with two pods, a small refrigerator, and plenty of electrical outlets all around for charging mobile devices. One item that was missing was a light weight blanket, which I have found available in many other hotels. This hotel makes the beds with a comforter which I find a little too hot. The coolest thing about the hotel is the room service robot. If you call the front desk to ask for a towel or extra shampoo, or any other small thing, the item will be delivered by an R2-D2 type robot which will make its way to your door and call you on the phone to let you know it has arrived.

Very nice hotel here. The building is relatively new so all the amenities are up-to-date. The rooms are well-designed. There are plenty of outlets in the room for all your electronics. The gym is pretty nice and spacious. The complimentary breakfast is about what you would expect. The thing that stood out most for me was how friendly the staff were.

Great staff of people, accommodating to the max. Rooms are excellent. Would definitely recommend and will come back.

My fiance and I stayed here last night and it was a very beautiful place. The employees were very gracious and kind. The little robot that delivered whatever you needed to your room was the coolest thing we've ever seen. The room was immaculately clean as well. We loved that we could sign in to our Netflix on the tvs, too. The atmosphere was quiet. The breakfast they served in the dining area was delicious and very filling. Not a continental breakfast. They have a 24 hr gym and the pool and hot tub was clean and not filled with loud people, but a few quiet guests. The Paul Mitchell toiletries was a plus and showed they go the extra mile in my opinion. So, needless to say, we will be staying here again if we are in the neighborhood and we highly recommend you do too! Thank you Fairfield for making our stay here, a great one!

New and clean! Had a great stay, we were there over Christmas holiday. Free breakfast buffet was good, but crowded so hard to get to food about an hour before the breakfast ended. Go early to breakfast if they are heavily booked.

We attended a social there after a wedding where family members of the bride and groom are staying. The social room has configurable chairs and tables. The atmosphere is nice and the design of the room looks stylish. Everyone was impressed with the robotic helper.

My family stayed here for 2 nights and it was great. The service was great and to top it off they have a robot that will bring you room service, the kids loved it. The breakfast was ok many things to choose from and the pool was heated. Great stay.

Awesome stay! Amazing customer service and a comfy, clean room. Only issue was put room faced a main street and the noise woke us up.

I am in room 101 for the last of my 3 night stay. So far I’ve been woken up at 6:30 am by a beeping noise. Maintenance just left saying that the infrared something or other is making the microwave beep. At 6:30 am. Very annoying. I considered changing rooms yesterday but I’m traveling with my elderly mother who, thankfully, takes her hearing aids out and heard nothing. I can’t imagine that this is a Marriott standard.

Newer location. One of nicer Fairfield’s I’ve been in. The staff is great and the robot room delivery is cool. The issue that caused the two star drop is the ant problem. Over two days I killed at least 20 ants in my room.

Excellent hotel with large clean rooms. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Pool and pool area were beautiful. Within walking distance to several restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Well, this seems to be a very recently opened hotel. We stayed two nights. We came across quite a few of their staff, and they all were very nice, helpful, knew what they were there for, and well trained. The pricing is very reasonable. Our second floor room was very nicely designed and equipped (except the toilet is the very low height version). The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was just terrific! It is very easy to drive into and exit the hotel property site. Good parking. Yes, I suggested I might move into their hotel!

Michelle the sales director provided an outstanding overview of the new hotel rooms and amenities. The new location is in a great area in San Marcos with many restaurants and stores nearby. I would recommend to any business traveler.

What a wonderful property with a friendly, caring staff and the most adorable room service robot you've ever seen! It's a new property wit ha few "new property"glitches here and there, but the staff bends over backwards to make things right. I will absolutely be back.

This is a brand new hotel at the time of this writing. I can't really say enough nice things about this place. Great eating and hangout areas downstairs, friendly staff, great breakfast, nice outside pool, one of the best fitness rooms I've ever seen, nice clean comfy rooms, great Wi-Fi, and a robot that can deliver anything you need to your room.

I used this location for a corporate event and can't say enough positive things. The staff and the location were both top notch. The choice of conference rooms was a great help to our party. The automated butler was also a novel value-add to members of our party staying on site.

Clean, modern and with great staff. Rooms are lovely with a good TV and entertainment options. If you have Netflix you can sign in and continue watching your shows. Beds are comfy, the bathrooms are shiny, posh and with large showers. I'd definitely stay here again and otherwise marriot hotels too if they are anything like this one. Also there is a little robot, I think his name is Hubert and he brings you all your room service! He's like a little R2D2 and beeps at you in a friendly way and dances a little when you you give him a good rating. It's quite funny watching him arrive and leave as he swerves down the hallway as he navigates his way back home to reception. Would be great to watch as a kid too.

The staff is wonderful. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Their comp breakfast was very good and the two wonderful ladies kept it very clean and always filled with food. The rooms were clean and a good size. The bathroom was nice a big and very clean which is a plus. Overall my experience here was wonderful. I will def recommend this hotel to friends and probably stay there again if I ever go back to San Diego.

I loved our stay at the hotel. Why? The hotel was only 5 months old and everything is still practically brand new. You can still smell that new carpet smell when you walk down the lobby to your hotel room. Their amenities includes a pool, fitness center and complimentary daily breakfast and we are not talking about continental breakfast. They had waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, fruit, yogurt, bagels, juices, coffee and other items. The front desk staff were great. They were very friendly and made sure we enjoyed our stay. The best part of our stay was the robot that delivers toiletries to your room upon request. It rings your phone when he is at your door. It's very high tech. A must see if you are staying at hotel.

Don't know how new the place is, but it feels like it is only weeks old. Lots of new technology. Really nice equipment in the gym! They serve are really good breakfast. Rooms are quiet, hallway noise is muffled.

Love this Hotel. Great area and the staff are amazing. Request for the Robot if u need a toothbrush, etc. The robot will bring it up to your room.

A beautiful new hotel. King sized bed was comfy. Breakfast was ample and had lots of choices. Staff was friendly and helpful. They had a room service robot that is great! Enjoyed our stay!

I was looking forward to staying here. No room in the inn. Guessing only a portion of the rooms are open for guests. Too bad.

New hotel. Still has the new smell to it. Everyone is nice and pleasant. The outdoor pool is small but refreshing. The workout room has new equipment and a nice room to workout in. The TV is Netflix ready just plug in your credentials and start streaming. Keurig is the room.

Came back to our room after a long day out, room was the same as we left it. They forgot to clean our room, after notifying the front desk they said they would notify manager but we never heard anything back from the manager. We didn't feel like valued customers since we always stay with them.

The hotel staff and the customer service was excellent. The hotel has only been open a couple of weeks so everything was new and beautiful. The robot that brings items to your room was Awesome too!

Although the hotel wasn't open for guests just yet, I had the privilege of attending a professional event that the hotel hosted. It's a beautiful hotel centrally located in San Marcos. Although I wasn't able to get a sneak peek at the rooms, the lobby decor is very tasteful and the staff very professional and courteous.
