Staff was very polite and our stay was enjoyable. Would have liked the hot tub too. Maybe my next stay!

A clean but aging place to park n fly in a less than desirable area. It’s so convenient and the staff is friendly. It changed ownership in Oct. 2019 and the staff was retained per the answer to my question of the desk clerk. The breakfast was excellent. The breakfast attendant spoke to returning guests she has seen for many years which impressed me. They are using Uber for a shuttle now and made all the arrangements fo.

The breakfast options are decent but come Thursdays the sausage gravy & biscuits are THE BOMB.

Nice 2bdrm/2 full baths suite with kitchenette: sink, stove, refrigerator and microwave. Very comfortable. Staff very pleasant!

I didn't know the area was surrounded by homeless people. Across the street is an abandon restaurant building thats been closed for a long time. Dennys restaurant is at the corner of the street and was the worst Dennys I been too. It looked like the air vents were not working. The dining experience was smelling grease from the kitchen. Front desk at night time needs to learn to acknowledge their customers waiting while their on the phone. My room smelled like mold mildew. I think it was the air conditioning that was giving that smell and it was so loud when its on. I had to turn it off to get some sleep. I went swimming and there were no attendant checking on stocking the towels. Breakfast was ok. I wouldn't come back to this location.

So, the bed was incredible! The front desk staff were friendly … problem — we intentionally chose this motel for the “24 hour airport shuttle”. When we checked in they told us “as of today, the shuttle hours changed”. First shuttle at 4 am. We need to be to the airport by 4am!
Several people we met at the bar are VERY unhappy! The reason they chose this motel was the shuttle!
The shuttle driver was obviously unhappy, as he is losing hours & then we hear the part time staff that have been here for years aren’t treated well.
The bed was wonderful, but we are now taking a taxi to the airport & will stay somewhere else next time.
I would think with Wyndham in the name, they’d be good.
Too bad.

I stayed here one night because I had a early doctors appointment at UC Davis and was pleasantly surprised at how large the rooms are. Did not know that it came with a kitchenette which I really loved. It was clean but there were a few stains on the little couch And could have been vacuumed underneath maybe I shouldn’t have looked under there LOL. The breakfast was nice and all the staff were awesome. Besides some people at the pool there was really not too much noise which I really liked. Very comfortable bed with awesome pillows. Maybe I shouldn’t leave a good review because now maybe more people will stay there and I will not get a room :-)

Where can I begin, 1st the front desk starting with employees Jimmy and Heather is very incompetent, they're not helpful knowledgeable or hardly professional. The rooms online look decent but that's about it. The front desk staff appear to be a bit aloof and when I asked Heather if I could speak to a manager she lied saying no one is here just her. Hawthorn Suites staff is the biggest problem, I booked the room for a total of $163.00 for to nights but Hawthorn Suites charged me $213.00! And not one single manager has returned my calls or email. I need to call Curtis on the Sacramento news to share my experience. I would advise no one to book a room at the Sacramento Hawthorn Suites ever.

Everything was wrong with this room. We got moved to 2nd room and it was worse than the first. We stayed back in 2011 and it was much nicer. Not so much now. Drug addicts hanging out. Stains on the toilet, broken toilet seat. Stains on the carpet, tub and walls.
And the resson why didn't say anything about the 2nd room the manager took offense to us saying the first room was dirty and threatened to kick us out. I'll never visit this place again. We couldn't have checked out fast enough.

The room had mold and smelled of it (we had to go to the nearest walmart to buy a candle. Yes it was that bad! ) The sink poured water everytime we used it and went all over the carpet. Our card stopped working like 4-5 times we ended up having like 10 cards by the time our stay was over. Our bath tub was falling apart and starting to separate where it should of been connected. The shower head was so clogged that the water was barely coming out. The property was clean, the staff was friendly and attentive, the breakfast was good but what's stopping me from staying there again is the cleanliness of the room. If they fix that problem this place would be great! The lobby was by far the nicest area of the whole hotel.
