The manager is highly unprofessional and likes to not follow the rules and guidelines of the work permits for the employees that are minors and still in school. He will change schedules without notice. He makes vulgar and unacceptable comments to those same employees. He will text and harass those same employees as to when they can't come into work when he's fully aware that they have school that day. This motel is a high transient and drug area. If you stay there just know drugs have been smoked in that room. I suppose it doesn't help that the supervisor of housekeeping is a druggie. This place earned the current rating it has on here of 1.6 out of 5.

Quality this place is not. I don't think I've ever stayed in a filthier motel. We found dried Coffee in the bottom of the coffee pot from the last person that slept here. What kind of housekeeping person doesn't rinse or wash out the coffee pot? There was slimy stuff on the faucet in the bathroom as though someone had spit on it and it was never cleaned. There was a filthy ring in the bathtub that had not been cleaned, the toilet seat was dirty the sink drain was filthy with hair. During covid this place should be shut down I don't even know if the sheets had been changed I sincerely doubt it. There was not a clean spot in the room or the bathroom. Dangerous blow dryer is falling apart. To top it off the security lock was broken. What kind of place is this? I plan on filing a complaint with a better business bureau tomorrow, and maybe contact the health department. Very disappointed in how unclean this establishment is. Please see all my photos.

So far the staff here has been very helpful. The motel is clean and the prices are very reasonable.

By far the friendliest staff and manager, always greeting us with smiles and treating us like we were their family. The rooms are perfect and always clean and very reasonably priced. The breakfast is better than any of the restaurants around.

Perfectly nice Motel for 1 night passing through. We were very comfortable and felt it was pretty clean for a budget motel. Breakfast was wonderful!

Needed a room. But due to fires mostly all hotels were booked. So it was a place to sleep. Rooms are in need of remodeling. Outside of hotel and lobby have been done. Looks like they haven't made it to the rooms just yet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. But again, room cleanliness was a little lacking. Carpet is probably 10 years old. Holes in wall were patched but not painted. Bathroom door didn't like to close all the way. Beds looked fairly new, so that was good. Bottom line had we had another option. We wouldn't have staid there.

Rude management. They gave our room to someone else and didn't even bother to verify with that person. I could easily figure out what was going on there. Since it was long weekend, they took advantage of it. Corruption on its peak. I wouldn't recommend. There are much better hotels around that place with better hospitality and good management. I booked through choice hotel website which I believe is the official website and it had my contact info. I reached around 11 PM and policy says I can reach until 3 AM. Instead of apologizing, they are blaming me for my rude behavior.

Sadly, the inn has gone down hill a bit. This was our choice spot in our traveling. The new room coffee pots are a joke. And the toilets are much to low for me. Now for the good… beds ate clean and comfortable in great condition. Staff still nice and helpful. Breakfast still quality with variety and lots of it. Cleanliness is good but building starting to show wear. Overall, still worth the stop. Very restful and quiet.

This is a Quality place to stay! Breakfast is more than you would expect. Scrambled eggs bacon and sausage and waffles and fresh oranges. The employees are extremely nice and helpful especially LaDonna! This was my previous review prior to getting bit by bed bugs. I had to go to the physician for medication as I had a reaction to the bites. I reported this to the management and said he would call me back after pest control was there but he never called back. That was the end of February. I had to stay at a different motel next time. I do not recommend.

I would have given this more stars but after receiving a somewhat rude email from the general manager I am not inclined to do so. First off we checked in after 3 on our day of arrival and found out they barely had any clean rooms ready for check in. WE came at the time it said to for check in. We went to our room and dropped off bags as we needed to catch up with family. We got back later that night only to discover the bathroom had no shower curtain. They switched us rooms at 11 at night and our new room was not that clean at all. There was still a dirty towel hanging on the bathroom door. Their decor is a little dated with peeling wallpaper and severely stained carpeting. Our floor had a very large sticky spot on I happened to find while barefooted. The gals at the desk are very friendly and helpful. They were the major plus to this stay. Second night there our keys would not work so I had to go get that fixed again. The rooms are really quiet though. Could not hear the neighbors. That was a nice plus. However the beds were comfy but the pillows they give you are these square deals. They are not even full size pillows. They gave us horrible neck aches. Overall the staff are all very friendly and good people to deal with. The rooms could use updating and a some major deep cleaning. However the District Manager's reply to our review from the hotel email was not really polite. We were not thrilled. He claimed they offered us compensation for our few speed bumps.

This has been worse experience of my life. After getting exhausted doing hiking we reached hotel which we have booked three days prior but they gave our room to someone else even when we have paid in advance have all details in place. Not only they denied us but the lady on reception was extremely rude she denied identifying the issue and even cross verifying with the person whom they gave our room. She said I cannot help as I had issue with my system all day and you have to leave. It was memorial day weekend and everything was sold out. She and her manager didn’t even helped us in finding something else but kicked us out at 11 o’clock in night when it was all their mistake. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a happy stay and hospitality.

Almost got it just right… This Quality Inn has long been an occasional stopover for me. The value is unbeatable. The breakfast is great. If they had better bath towels I'd give them a 5.

Worst experience ever. The hotel charged me double. When I went to check out they tried to tell me I didn't pay. Staff was rude, especially the manager. Please don't go here.

We were on our way into Shasta and the Quality Inn was conveniently right off the freeway for a quick overnight stay. The room was decent aside from the excessive amount of paint peeling from the bathroom ceiling. Aside from that, no complaints about the room. We were a little unsure about leaving our things for the trip in the car overnight, due to a sketchy person we saw roaming the back lot, so we unloaded everything into the room, which luckily we were able to park our car right in front of. We enjoyed the free breakfast (waffles! ) and the staff was friendly.

Liked the hotel staff here, they were really friendly. Located next to Pizza Hut in Redding city, this Quality Inn is as good as any other I have been to in the past. Free breakfast is served from 6.30 to 10.30 AM everyday and includes bacon, scrambled eggs, waffles, yogurt, bread, bagel, pastries, coffee and juice. I liked the 4 hour, flexible complimentary breakfast time which is a bit unusual. The rooms are clean, maintenance staff is terrific and any service orders are taken up with immediate priority. We had a broken shower knob that had to be fixed urgently before check out and the staff accommodated.

We stayed for 1 night on April 3rd & were checked in by LaDonna. We were upgraded to a room with a king sized bed. We really appreciated the service wereceived, and the room was very comfortable. We left the next morning at 5:30 and the gentleman at the desk let me in to get a coffee, hot water & a yogart which was greatly appreciated!

Everything was clean, and there was a flatscreen tv. Thanks only downside was the bad was a but small but I don't mind that to bad. I could've asked for anything more!

The walls/floors are super thin and you can hear everything your neighbors are doing. Comfortable beds, clean, everything else is fine.

Great room, very clean, including the refrigerator and microwave… even had shampoo and conditioner… the last 3 hotels ive been to were dirty and only provided a bar of soap… Deluxe Inn, Vagabound and Motel 6

Comfortable beds. A full breakfast. A pool. Relaxing, comfortable room with cable TV, coffee and fridge. Good restaurants nearby. What more could you ask for?

Do not waste your money staying here. I read almost all the reviews on here and yelp. They are not under new management. I walked in to a room with a dirty floor in the bathroom and cheerios and peices of some type of pipe on carpet. I went to the front desk and asked if I could use a vaccuum myself so it wouldn't be a bother to the staff. Chandra at the front desk told me she didn't know where the house keeping kept their supply. I asked her again and she told me that the house keeping closet is right across the parking lot but she didn't trust me to use it myself and that no one could help until morning because "it is illegal for her to leave the desk because she was the only one there. I pretty much begged her for just a broom and I cleaned what I could but she said I had to return it after. I went back down to the front desk and the doors were locked and she was looking at me so I shook the handle and her and another worker came and opened it and she started telling the other worker "moose" that I was trying to break the door and that she told me to wait one second while she locked up and got a vaccuum to help me. She was completely lying. I asked moose if he was in the back the whole time and he said yeah and said someone can clean the whole room at 7am while we are sleeping and that we can call the general manager after we leave The customer is a joke to them.

I am very confused by the rating here on Yelp, I just stayed here this last weekend and I travel a lot. You want a 1.5star hotel? Go to the Econolodge in Tacoma, WA, this hotel is extremely well-run and very clean on the whole. It seems to me things have been a bit exaggerated, As someone who travels a lot and stays in hotels in numerous states and several countries, this place was not bad, at all. I would take the 1 & 2 star with a grain of salt. I very much enjoyed my stay at this hotel. There was really only 3 caveats during my stay, and they are minor. Although, I do hope the hotel fixes them. On the whole, for its price range, I would rate it a good solid 4 out of 5 stars. The staff was excellent, far exceeded expectations, they were very friendly, happy to help, appropriately attentive, and informative. The breakfast was one of the better continental breakfast I've had, it actually had meat and eggs, how many hotels have the other people here really stayed at in this price range? I stay in a lot all over the country and it is rare they have any protien besides hardboiled eggs! One tray alternated between bacon and ham, while the rest of thectrays had egg patties, sausage patties, scrambled eggs, and fried potatoes. That's on top of the normal waffle and bagel stuff. They had two kinds of yogurt as well as hard boiled eggs. There condiments were good, they had little packets of salsa and tobasco which was a pleasant surprise. It was well-run & well-stocked.

Food, drinks, and keys, from the last guest were in the room, and soap and shampoo were in shower that didn't look clean. They need to hire a better maid. Both mattresses were bad, you could feel the springs, one mattress was sinking in the middle. The breakfast was good and that's all we can say good about our stay. The front desk people didn't seem to be bothered by the negative remarks. The place was dirty, outside doors look like they haven't been cleaned in a very long time, very dirty, glad to leave! That place needs a good cleaning and change of management and have pride in ownership.

Not great. Tiny room, not very clean. Slow Wi-Fi. And breakfast offered juice, but water had to be purchased at the desk! Lame.

Simple clean small room. But nice for a family with kiddos pool needs lights.

Under new management remodeling and updating. Seasonal pool, great staff, and all new linens. Definitely worth the stop when traveling. Truck and trailer parking. Saftey is my number one priority an I felt safe here. Thier camera system and well light parking lot not to mention private security team made me feel secure during my stay.

Small beds. Their "queen" sized beds are actually a full size. So a double queen room for 4 people was pretty crammed. Also, the complimentary breakfast wasn't the greatest. I could definitely tell it was all from the freezer and not very tasty. Oh and we had paid for 3 nights in advance yet each morning the maids welcomed themselves right into our room without knocking and were a little ride Other then that, I everything was great. Clean rooms and friendly front desk.

We stayed one night on August 14, 2017. We booked two rooms. They started by giving us a room that was already occupied, fortunately the privacy look was on. The next set of rooms were not entirely clean. One still had trash in the bin and one had a pile of dirty towels in the closet. We checked and went out to dinner. When we got back we realized that the privacy lock had latched over when the door was closed. We had to get the front desk staff to get it open. At that point we realized the door molding in the room was very loose and it caused the problem. The rooms smelled funny. Non smoking rooms but other rooms in the hotel we're ok to smoke, it leaves a funk on the whole building. I gave two stars because the staff person was REALLY nice and the breakfast was good. I would not recommend this place.

I had a very nice stay. Room was nice and clean and the shampoo/soaps actually smelled very refreshing. Continental breakfast could have more variety to it but if you come early enough, you should be able to get in a good meal.

I have to say worse ever Quality Inn we have ever stayed in. Toilet ran all night. Razor blade in bathroom rubber bands everywhere. Bed has big whole so u roll to middle no matter what. Trash still in can. Room smell of smoke. It's a shame the night person answer was " What do you want me to do about it " really. Sad part we always stay in choice hotels cause they r always clean n fresh. This place felt eeky and dirty and run down.

Traveling from Vancouver, wa. Spent $100 for a room that has no working smoke detector (missing battery and cover), So I guess were dead if there happens to be a fire, No working remote for TV with only 1 battery and no cover for the back, (so no changing the channel or volume unless I stand up at the TV and do it myself), When you flush the toilet, it sounds like something is getting ready to blow up, Nats dropping from the lamps, when we asked to purchase water, we were told they were out. What kind of hotel is this! For a $100 a night, I expect better! Shame on you Quality Inn! I would have stayed at a Motel 6 if I wanted this kind of a stay…

I will not use Hotwire again because the site choose this hotel, one that is not worth the money. The room was dirty and small. Customer service was no better as the person at the front desk exalted herself above me when I was the customer. From reviews from fellow Americans too, it seems like the staff here think that they are superior to their customers. I feel bad for the couple with no sheets. The hotel should have apologized and moved them to another king room. It was the room that discouraged me from coming back, but the indifferent customer service didn't help either.

Really tiny room, but clean and tidy. We got their at 1:00 in the morning. We had to ring a bell to get into the lobby, but the front desk gentleman was quick to get to us and was quick and courteous.

Decent place to stay for the night. Not sure if good for longer.

The quality in we stayed at in Redding was clean and quiet, and the staff was friendly. The location is great with a lot of food choices within walking distance. There are quite a few other stores near by for shopping as well.

Nice hotel. Typical breakfast options. Good value for your money if you are only staying for a night. Perfect for those stopping after a long day drive.

The gal at the front desk is super nice. But the rooms are old not very convenient, the beds are cheap, springy, uncomfortable. Three of our four rooms we tried smell awful. It burned our noses. My and my family debated over which rooms we'd get. Thankfully the front desk lady let us try other rooms but they all smelled gross. It might be the cleaners but one room didn't stink. So that's confusing. Just overall, I wish we had stayed at one of the other 4 hotels right next to us.

The room had been used and was filthy. Toilet seat broken. Medical waster in bathroom. Bandages, syringe, blood. Used towels on bathroom floor. I had reservations. When I called to complain I was told this was the last available room and that he would leave a message for his manager and I may get a discount. When I went up to leave, it is not conceivable that anyone could be expected to stay in that room, another person came in who said he had a reservation and was given a room. I have pictures of the medical waste that was left in the room and am considering contacting the health department to try to make sure your policies do not allow this to happen to someone else.

Great bed, pillows, breakfast and service. Carpets old and stained, lamps wobbling. Very clean and quiet. Prices very reasonable I will come back.

As far as a Quality Inn, this one is nothing special!. If you stay on the west side in the "dead of summer" expect your door to your room to be singhing hot, and your KEY may not work! Room is OK, but bathroom is circa 1980 Super 8! No laundry facility on site! Would I stay ther again? Probably not! Unless it was the only room other than a "6"
