This is a good option when you're in the Sacramento area or simply just passing by. You'll save some good money compared to staying in overpriced hotels in downtown Sacramento. You'll get Best Western standard amenities and environment good for a decent stay. Its' only 20 mins. Or less to downtown and there are restaurants around, or you can do a short drive to Folsom for shopping at the premium outlets and a nice meal at the Old Town.

Nice breakfast: eggs, sausage, country potatoes, waffles, French toast, oatmeal, cereals, dairy and nondairy mills, Bess and muffins, four kinds of coffee, and more. The bed was comfortable, and the facilities & room were clean. There is a little miniature golf pad and a swimming pool. Everyone was nice. I'd stay here again.

Very helpful staff. Free for breakfast that runs from 6 AM to 10 AM. Clean rooms too. I met the GM who impressed upon me her want to keep her employees happy. Happy employees make for happy customers.

Great customer service. Had no issues except the TV and the remote wasn't the original one to fix the problem. But other than that was a really good experience and beautiful hotel. Enjoyed it very much. Definitely will be coming back for future visits.

The staff at my check in was great. The rooms are small and need updating. Overall its been a nice staying here on business the past 3wks. I would like to thank Nowel the breakfast lady she is absolutely the best! She deserves a raise. She does. An awesome job with keeping up with the breakfast trays full and ready at all times shes a super very friendly lady!

Nice comfortable stay. Price was reasonable. Breakfast was average but good to have complimentary breakfast. Wifi speed is slow sometimes. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Air conditioning in room worked fine.

Nice enough hotel with elevator access to all three floors. The adjacent highway road noise was a little bothersome with a room facing the highway. The mexican restaurant sharing the same road entrance off the city street was of fair quality depends on your taste. I would not eat there again. There also is a McDonalds next to the hotel and other fast food restaurants nearby. The room was comfortable with plenty of electrical outlets for charging your electronics. The breakfast buffet was better than average. I would stay there again.

Stayed here a couple of nights while in town for a wedding. The place is very clean, the free breakfast is nice, and it is conveniently located near the main highway. However, kids AND adults were yelling, laughing and being very loud in the pool (which is right next to almost all the hotel rooms) past quiet hours, until at least 11pm. This isn't a resort, it's a little hotel in a suburb. I came here to spend the night and then be on my way to where I had to be; it kind of sucks when you spend $100+ to sleep somewhere, and all you hear is yelling and laughing at 11 at night.

I don't usually stay at Best Western hotels. I haven't liked them much in the past. But the beds here are more comfortable than the other Best Western Plus hotels I've stayed at (especially compared to the one in Pleasanton).

Because of an employee mistake they gave my reservation to someone else. They have email and phone number why not try to make contact with me and fix it before you gave my reservation to someone else I get here from a 4 hour drive, tired and two kids now I have to find a decent hotel. Really.

We've stayed at this Best Western many times. The rooms are clean, the rates are great, and the location couldn't be better. Right off of the freeway, it has perfect access for us whenever we stay in Sacramento. We will deffinitely be returning again!

Started with a communication barrier with front office staff. Asked some basic questions and he seemed confused by several of them (English as a second language). Then we went to our room (he couldn’t really express how to get to our room other than pointing in the general direction so we had to figure it out. Opened the door and were greeted with the smell of smoke/urine/mildew (not super strong, but definitely noticeable! ). Then parked the car nearby only to find a rather unsavory character sitting in his car smoking pot and listening to loud graphic/explicit rap music with his windows down. Gathered up our stuff, hustled into the room and locked the door. Apparently no other room was available, or the guy didn’t understand what we were trying to report. It was a place to sleep for the night as we were heading out in the morning, so we didn’t make a federal case out of it. Went to bed and hoped for the best. Breakfast was the typical BW breakfast buffet which served its purpose for us. This was, by far, the worst BW I have ever stayed in (and I have stayed at several just this year). Would definitely never go back.

By far the best hotel I've stayed at. The staff is very friendly and and accommodating. The room was very nice. I will definitely recommend it to everyone, and I will definitely be staying here again.

Although we have stayed at this hotel before without issue, after this experience, we will not stay here again. There were several maintenance issues including SCALDING hot water coming from the shower with no ability to adjust temperature, breakfast selection was poor with watered down juices and plain, unsealed yogurt served without label or any indication of what was in it, and when issues were brought to the front desk staff attention, they were less than helpful with remedying the situation and helping ease our inconvenience. They did offer to clean the tub of another room someone had just checked out of so we could shower, but it was too much of an inconvenience to pack up myself, my children, and my husband's belongings to move to another room just so we could shower in a mostly unclean room. The best the staff did was refund what I was told would be $50, but ended up being far less than that. Will not return and highly recommend others use caution as well when selecting this hotel.

Room: The room was clean for the most part. The bed had some grease / car oil like stuff by it on the floor and I kept stepping into it and it was a nasty feeling. Besides that it was alright, it could use some better lighting. Environment: Sketchy people around in and out of the hotel. There was a guy sitting on the floor in the hallway upstairs for 3-4 hours. Management should get on top of this kind of stuff. Pricing: Given the above mentioned scenario, the pricing does not make it worth the stay. For the additional 10$ or so you can stay in a much better hotel. But if the management addresses the shady stuff, it could be worth it, I wouldn't consider staying with family at this hotel because of the shady people around.

Nice hotel, great location near restaurants, easy access. Room has microwave, fridge, coffee pot, very up to date decor, and bathroom. We were travelling with a dog, very reasonable $20 fee for pets. Highly recommend.

I booked a non-smoking room. The room smelled like smoke every time I walked into it. My room was without a hair dryer. I called the front desk about this and the staff person said he’d look into it. He never called back so I called again and he said he had an extra available for me to pick up. It would have been nice if he had at least called me back to let me know. When I went to the fitness room, the elliptical machine was not working. I went to the front desk and a staff person went with me to look st the machine. He could not get it to work either. He advised me to talk to someone else to take a look at it because he was leaving for the day. It would have been more helpful if he had another staff person look at the machine instead of advising me to find someone else.

Horrible night. There were guys hanging out their vehicles which made walking to my room alone uneasy. Was then woken by a guy yelling at his partner/spouse in the middle of the night. This went on for a long time. I finally found the courage to call the front desk. She came up, pounded on the door and threatened to kick them out. Then she called me after I was finally falling asleep to relay what happened… Thanks. The walls are paper thin and I heard everything.

Rooms are getting old. Linens NEVER smell fresh or washed. Most motels/hotels have that clean bleach smell. Watch billing carefully. They have a so called incidental fee that they can't explain. Oct stay charged 25.00 Dec stay free room. Charged 60.10. Manager could not give an answer both times I asked is there a set price. Do not stay on 3rd floor it is enclosed smells of pot and cigarette smoke. I have stayed at this property over 15 years before it was Best Western.

I have stayed at the Best Western Plus Rancho Cordova many times when in Sacramento visiting relatives. Overall, while less formal than the Courtyard next door, the price is slightly lower, and includes free breakfast, which is about average for it's quality. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms are modern and clean. Our room didn't have a sink outside the bathroom, as it was a room with 2 double beds rather than Queens, and was a smaller room in dimensions than their standard 2 Queen rooms. The Courtyard next door is more elegant, but the BW+ is probably a better value. Staff is friendly and very helpful.

Clean, updated rooms, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, comfy. Quick checkin with reservation, even though it backs up to Hwy 50, little noise. Mickey D's and a family owned Mexican restaurant within walking distance. Mornings include a free hot breakfast. Only downside are the linens, a better quality would be nice.

Best Western is for me the economic motel chain which best value for money offers. It has parking, pool and basics including a more than decent breakfast. Maybe some noise from the adjacent road and some windows that let the sound and the cold as a point to improve.

This is a good hotel. I happen to be there on a weekend where it was really busy. I had a few problems with the maid-service (they did not change my towels the following day) and I had to provide them with my B/W bonus discounts again but overall I would stay at this hotel again.

I stayed five nights. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff are kind and professional. The Wi-Fi was unsecured so I could not use it. The TV reception went in and out in the rain. The eggs were below average at breakfast. My stay was nice and quiet.

All the employees we dealt with were friendly, the breakfast was pretty good, the room was very clean and well made up. We asked for a handicap accessible room but it was so small we had to leave the wheelchair in the car and the queen bed was not adequate for comfort. There was a grab bar in the bathtub but no shower chair so my husband was unable to take a shower as he cannot stand up for more than a minute at a time and he cannot get down into the tub. The commode was ADA compliant I believe. We will be looking for a different place if we are in the area again.

Great Hotel … Will be staying here again next time we are in the area. Staff was Awesome and the rooms are clean and very cozy, great breakfast and lots of restaurants with different kinds of food choices. 5 + Stars.

Could not have been much happier with my stay here for the air. Even though we wasn't at the hotel as much but every time we came back room was clean all our stuff that was left on the bed was put nicely together on the desk.

The hotel is nice inside, clean, and they offer a nice breakfast that's included in the price of your stay. The breakfast offers scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, potatoes, hard boiled eggs, cereal, waffles, yogurt, fruit, orange and Apple juice. The price for the room is reasonable. The hotel has an area that's specifically designated for the guests to enjoy their breakfast and watch some TV or read a newspaper, which is nice. Definitely coming back here.

There are a few other hotels in the immediate area but this was chosen for the price and super short notice. The check in experience was fine. The room itself didn't look bad, but it truly smelled horrible. The smell was a terrible combination of cigarette smoke and maybe musty old carpet. Not something I got used to either, as the smell was enough to keep me up at night. The breakfast the next morning wasn't too bad. Better than the bottom of the barrel breakfast or just cereal and fruit, there we're actually eggs and sausages. Mediocre, but definitely the best part of the stay here. Wouldn't recommend to family or friends… Or strangers.

The location of this hotel is perfect. You can see it from the freeway so it makes it perfect for anyone visiting the city or anyone who lives there and needs a quick hotel stay to grab a room. Rooms are clean and staff is very helpful and politely.

We checked in and were told our room on second floor. However, elevator was not in service and had to use stairs. For persons over age 70, would have liked to have had offer for assistance, but did not happen. Both lamps in room did not work and on duty person simply told me to use the switch, but did not offer to resolve it. Usually like breakfast at Best Western but this time was a disaster. Wanted waffle but not regular size plates and was given tiny bowl and saucer to use. Ridiculous! Will never use this facility in the future.

Very nice place to stay. Hot breakfast every morning and it's near other restaurants. Easy access to the freeway. Room was clean & fresh when you entered the door. We will return there if we are back in the area again.

Breakfast this place is very nice and fresh. Choice of 2 different sausages, scrambled eggs, hash browns, 2 different shape waffles, toasts and muffins etc. 2 different kinds of coffee blew was impressing. (beside decaf) I enjoyed the breakfast every morning I stayed. (I stayed 2 nights } It is right at the exit of Rt 50, which was helpful to go anywhere in Sacramento.

Beautiful rooms, would never have guessed they were so nice from the outside. The complimentary breakfast is one of the best I have ever had at any hotel.

The staff was very pleasant. The rooms are nice. Unfortunately our room wasn't very clean. One of our beds had a stained cover and a dirty rag was still hanging on the shower curtain rod. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

I am staying for a week. My room is on the freeway side and somewhat noisy. The mini fridge was making a high pitched noise and I told the front desk about it in the evening and they said they would take care of it today. I hope so.

So far our experience has been great! Great staff — price — near the freeway it has a nice pool — putting green — table tennis and great little wrap around patios… Love it! and they allow your little critters! And Casa Romas is a great Mexican Restaurant and it is walking distance… thank you BW.

Rooms are clean and nice and has great Wi-Fi, rooms are a little small but comfortable.

Friendly staff during my stay. No issues other then a broken fridge which they changed rooms with no problems. Is a bit hard to locate though as its behind mc Donalds.

The front desk lady was very rude and not fun to talk too. I travel for work so I spend lots of time in hotels the hotel looks nice and has a nice pool area but terrible front desk lady.

From start to finish: $65 for the room. Finding the hotel was not out right easy. Google maps doesnt navigate directly to the hotel. From the hotel is set back from the main road (in between two other large hotel chains and slightly hidden by a couple fast food chains) and there are no hotel signs directing you from the main road. For $65, the room was clean and adequate. A bit small, but it has a newer flat screen tv, microwave AND refrigerator which is more than I can say for places ive stayed at higher cost. The bathroom door was the sliding closet door type — not a regular hinged door — that was not built to level and would slide back open on its own (no privacy, unless you jammed something in the door to keep it closed). The bed linen lack a comforter blanket. Breakfast presentation was very clean but lacked clear labeling of products. The milk was kept in a stainless steel liquid dispenser without a label. I didnt know it was milk until I opened the cap. It also didnt label what kind of milk (low fat, 2%, whole etc).
