Got a room with two queen beds because I wanted a fridge, both beds are so collapsed that I will ask for a different room tomorrow. For unknown reason the manager insists that the smoke detector be checked daily by housekeeping, never had this requirement before, did not hear any other rooms smoke detector today. Full bath. No pool.

As always, when I have any unplanned or impromptu out of my area tripped, I know I can find the welcoming light on with your establishment. I can count on a clean room at more than reasonable rates. I do recognize there are a few locations in need of some T. L. C. Which was the case here. While I did have a great rate & clean room, the bed was less than satisfactory. Sorry!

Needed a place to stay with 80 lb dog for few days before a move out of state. I felt safe, comfortable and relaxed even with the stress of all going on in my life at the time. Thank you for all the great people you have hired to be the face of you company. Thanks for leaving your light on for us.

Much better in pictures. Vibrant colors seemed inviting, but bedding had lots of burns/stains and made experience feel dirty. Remote control to TV did not work. We thought there was a pool, but was grateful there was none as my son would have insisted on swimming and I would have been concerned about cleanliness…

I came to Sacramento to visit my family and Monica was very friendly and polite, she was able to get me a room last minute. The room was clean, I had no complaints whatsoever. I would stay again.

I will say overall staff was nice and took care of needs I did ask for a partial off room due to cats peeing on air conditioner and dealt with the smell for a day in the room and happen again the night before leaving I asked front desk and the lady insisted in ten percent I said I had to smell cat urine coming from air conditioner I feel room should be half off I finally asked for Monica manager on site and she gave me 15% it was not what I thought I deserve but I just took it because staff was nice and I knew not more would be done. First night room was not fresh of pillows or covers or sheets. I had to request for full service housekeeping. Stayed four nights and only two of the night were comfortable stay my other two had smell of cat urine strong coming thru vents.

Had a great time in the area. The staff was friendly and the rooms were nice. It was a little hard to find off the freeway. But overall a great stay.

The room was clean, orderly, and appropriately stocked. Upon our 2am check-in, the night staff was very friendly and the night security was personable. The presence of night security was reassuring for us. Parking was easy, even with a very large enclosed trailer. The room still had the lingering odor of all older motels that were smoked in for years prior to the no smoking policy. They did a great job of keeping accountability of who was staying in the motel with documentation of vehicle license plates and scanning IDs for every person staying in the facility. All of my expectations of a budget minded motel were met and I would stay here again.

I was very impress with Monica the front desk ladie. She was very polite over the phone and secured a room for me on a busy Friday evening. "But hurry "she said because it's the last room. Sure enough I drove to location it was slammed she was turning down guest because no vacancy only reservations. Since I called minutes before She remembered my name and she helped me get the room that night! Thank you guys for helping me out. Also security Guy Beatle was very nice as well. Thank you,

The people in the office are very nice. The water pressure in the room was weak. And the air conditioner wasn't very effective. But everything else was satisfactory.

Management was completely rude and fully did not have a single Human care about the place. Couldn't believe the reaction to certain situations but hot water lasted hours and that made everything okay. Do not recommend unless your at the last straw!

The manager on duty was exceptional and went beyond any expectations that we would expect. The room was clean and comfortable and the courtesy call that we received to see if we were happy with our room was very nice. There was only one complaint and that was we had a room full of excited kids in the room above us that ran continuously for almost 4 hours. The front desk asked them to quiet them on two occasions but we had to wait until they were worn out …

Our stay was very pleasant. All the staff should get a 10, always things done with a smile. Very clean, yet next time we will ask for a non smoking room… great place.

Everything was great and the service at front desk was very professional and security makes it the safest motel in Rancho Cordova and that's saying a lot for the area. Motel 6 is stepping it up on security and can't get any better. I would return if needed to a Motel 6 in the future. Thanks Stan B.

Friendly staff and plenty of fast food locations and grocery stores within walking distance. Rooms were clean and housekeeping was quick and polite.

Staff was great! Young man at desk worked late and came in early the next morning. All with a smile on his face!

Horrible… for families … worst service… drove 12 hours with kids. It's 4 am and what a Hassel to get into a room felt like I was being booked for a jail cell. They should really be more considerate and understanding in trying to have a paying guest feel welcome. Sucks there were no other hotels with vacancy near by.

First I love the modern rooms very cool. The room was clean I would've given 5 stars bit the room had an odor not so much a bad one but just not fresh.

This hotel has a very effective way of making people feel uneasy. When I pulled into the parking lot, a security guard with a gun walked up behind my car and wrote down my license number. He was not there to say hello and welcome to Motel 6. The check-in process made me feel like a criminal. I was told, no guests in the room. Visitors are only allowed to stay 2 hours. No commercial activity in the rooms. No illegal activity allowed. At other hotels I stay at on business I am welcomed at the front desk and given a snack or warm cookie. Not at this Motel 6. All I wanted was a room to spend the night because I was working nearby at a local company. I am a professional engineer, not a criminal looking for a place to do something illegal.

Staff was phenomenal. Specifically Georgia, she was just a sweetheart at the front desk. My only issue with the whole experience was the lack of microwave or fridge in the room. First time I have ever noticed those were lacking in a hotel room.

It was very quite and relaxing. I would like to compliment the staff they were very helpful and always respectful when I needed something. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I stay in many motels/hotels through the year and this motel 6 is fantastic. The staff here makes the experience wonderful. Sometimes a friendly and welcoming person is all you need to feel like you are at home :)

I work in construction and it is very important to me to have a nice HOT shower at the end of my work day. The water temperature of the shower NEVER got above lukewarm. There was also a mouse living in the T. V. Support cabinet that I never could get out.

Rooms were in decent order. Very accommodating staff. One housekeeper even tucked in my son's stuffed animals into bed while she was cleaning and we were out. Adorable!

The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. I think it was a box spring from 1991. My back still hurts 2 days later. My sister and I went to the Aftershock festival and I have a dog, so I was very limited on where I could stay. I decided to save a little money and stay here. Wish I had paid a bit more now. I originally didn't know if my sister was coming or not, but when I added her to the reservation I made sure to ask for 2 beds. When we got to the motel, they only had a room with one bed. So me and my sister (and my dog! ) were forced to share a small full size bed for the whole weekend. Not like we had any choice at that point. Next time I would pay a bit more — to avoid waking up feeling like I had slept on a rack. We both could feel the individual springs poking into us. They had a nice flatscreen TV, but I could care less about that, I usually watch things on my computer anyway. I would have a motel spend money on decent beds than on TV's.

The necessities for resting and getting a good night sleep did happen while at Motel 6. A great TV to accommodate electronic devices. Quiet neighborhood for the Motel 6 location.

I needed a last minute place to stay and was able to get a reservation here. The front desk staff was great when I called. I was surely surprised to see an armed security guard. The questions asked during the reservation were surprising also; makes me wonder what their typical clientele is. There was ample parking, don't believe there is an elevator for the second floor. Had difficulty getting into the room and security came up with a new key to help me. The room was a bare bones double with laminate flooring. When I pulled the sheets back on both beds there long head hairs present. Stained outter cover on the bed. Drape at the window did not cover the entire window so someone could see into the room with the angle if the mirror. No bed skirts on bed. The plunger in the sink did come up to drain. Toilet tank at a weird angle. Dried dirty shoe print on floor. It was too late and I was too tired to go someplace else. Spend a few more dollars and stay someplace nice with better standards and quality. Yes, I slept in my clothes that I had been traveling in for about 18 hours.

Everything was wonderful! The people in the office where sweet. Very nice and attentive. The room was SPOTLESS! The only problem we had was that the security guard was feelingless and very rude. He was attempting to intimidate the people outside that were parking to check in. If he was replaced then the Motel would be a 20+

Wasn't happy at all they had a hole in the wall where it seem like someone tried to steal the air conditioning unit, had to stick a towel in the hole. Then went to use shower the handle wouldn't turn hot or cold. Sheets had spots on them. They were really good quality at one time. But I would never come back here again.

I made reservations for four days and on the second day the room wasn't cleaned. So I went to the front desk and told the attendant the room has not been cleaned. I was rudely told by the desk attendant they were short of staff and they would clean it when they could. After a conversation, more in duration than needed, with the desk attendant she had given me the impression she had no idea of when the room would be cleaned so I requested to have the remaining three days of reservations cancelled. The following day I was making reservation at the Motel 6 in South Sacramento where I have always had good experience and service. I was evently told by Motel 6 I was banned from staying at all Motel 6 locations because of a disturbance at the Motel 6 in Rancho Cordova. I called the Motel 6 corporate office and asked for an explanation. I was told by the corporate office I would need to contact the Motel 6 located in Rancho Cordova for an explanation. Eventually the manager for the Rancho Cordova location called me back and explained to me I caused a disturbance and for that reason I was banned at all Motel 6 hotels. I explained to the manager the only occurrence at his hotel was my room wasn't cleaned. So I requested to have it cleaned. I was told by the desk attendant it would be cleaned when they got to it.

I stayed at the Olson Dr. Motel 6, the staff was friendly. The room was not all that, the sheets had hair on them and stains! And there was broken furniture. I understand you get what you pay for, but if anything people come to sleep! The bed should be clean.

I stayed here a few times and my stay was pleasant. Staff was really respectful, and Nobody bothered me, while I was having Mass Sex with my lady. The bathrooms aren't the greatest, and could Definitely use some improvements. But other than that, I had a REALLY GOOD Time, and I would stay there again, Should the opportunity present itself… I'm not much on caring for a curfew, to visit guest's, and Security would be smart to walk lightly around me, Because I Don't like being harrashed by anyone. Especially when I am not doing anything wrong.

I have been staying here for several days, the office staff, and housekeepers go out of their way to make you feel at home and welcomed. However, let's get back to the security guard you have on-site. Last couple of days there have been several different officers on-site, awesome officers. Then we have this one tonight (must have been on his days off, which he doesn't deserve) harasses me at my room door, supposedly my PINK parking pass didn't have the correct date? So, I walk over to the office to renew it, he meets me outside the motel office, and asks me this "Are you ever leaving soon. How many more days do I have to see you at this site? " My response, "Excuse me! " His response "I hope you are leaving soon". NOW, I don't know what this ARMED persons physiological problem is, but he definitely suffers from one. I will be leaving in the morning, and I will be cancelling my future plans of using Motel 6 as a corporate account nationwide. Good luck with this security company, you definitely will have lawsuits and harassment cases coming your way soon.

Well I would like to say that my visit with your attention to detail was great. The staff was impeccable. I really appreciate the safe environment you Provided. My only complaint would be that you don't offer monthly rates.

Horrible … I will never go to this hotel again. I drove a long way for some crappy rooms that weren't even nice or clean, for them to sweat me over my child that just turned 18 … seriously. Luckily he had his school I. D. But that still pissed me off. It was just me & a bunch of kids, but we were treated like criminals. They even called me twice in the middle of the night, wanting the names & birth dates of my minor children … like wow, I've never had to endure crap like that ever & did I mention the room sucked. That's my fault for procrastinating & missed out on the hotel I usually go to … the Hyatt. I told the office that if I had to choose between staying in this hotel to see my family, or staying home & missing a chance to see them, I would stay home.

Safe! I stayed for a week and felt like family with front desk staff, housekeeping and security. That is the reason for my 5 star review. The walls were thick enough that sleep was easy. Clean enough. It is not a 5 star hotel but they treated me and my company and pets as such. I would walk my dogs to see them 3x a day. They always took time to see me. Best display of ACTUAL security doing their job. Felt very safe.

They were inhospitable and unwelcoming they treat the drug dealers better than the guest the make up silly rules and the rooms were poorly maintained and furnished there were burn holes in the blankets and sheets there were two hours visitations from your guests but never paid any mind to the drug dealers comings and goings with their associates I can go on and on but the rancho cordova motel 6 is the worst really and overpriced 4 poor service definatly a blemish to motel 6 as a whole ive had. Ok service and board at other ones so thats y I couldnt give them a one or a zero…

When my father came into town he wanted to stay at this establishment but unfortunately the staff was extremely difficult. Upon arrival we had been greeted by 1 armed security officer and two staff members, one of which was eating and talking with her mouth open. Her mouth was so full, food was falling out and she looked like a chipmunk storing her next meal. Thank god the, person checking us in wasn't stuffing their face. My father pays for the night and then gentleman asked me if I was going to be in the room. Of course I was going to spend some time with him and upon giving my answer he asked me for my drivers license. I have been to hotels/motels all over the country and never had this asked for a visitor. We thought this was suspicious and questioned the younger male attendant and the only response is that it is Sacramento odanance. We asked the attendant for management and was promptly given a business card with condescending comments from the female attendant, still sitting in the back eating. "This is Sacramento ordnance", we heard it the first time. THIS IS NOT A SAC ORDINANCE BUT MAY BE REQUIRED BECAUSE OF CONTINUOUS CRIMINAL CONDUCT! It does not state anywhere on the premise that any visitors must supply valid identification prior to visiting a guest and much more, why was my father charged prior to this not being notified? We ask for a refund and it was dead silence in the lobby until the woman in the back says "just so you know, I'm on lunch".

It was a comfortable visit prolly wud have givin 5 star if the showers had more pressure.

If you don't like drug traffic, this is your place. Un less you smoke cigarettes. But that is a welcome trade off. I felt safe, and I would recommend this as a family stay place, bring the toddlers. One of maybe a hundred in Sacramento. Great place!

So the people at the front desk are awsome so friendly and totally understanding and they do there job great! There are at least 3 security gaurds like at all times! So your pretty safe here! There rooms were very clean! Love the endless amount of hot water :) it was a great place to stay!

I had a bad attitude about Motel 6 from having stayed at another and it was full of drug pushers and prostitutes. This Motel 6 was very well cleaned up with friendly staff and excellent security. It was quiet and well located. The room was simple but clean and comfortable. The internet we paid for did not work out well, but that seems like a small problem. I felt safe at this motel.

It was like being in a prison. Couldn't have the door open. Couldn't have guest. And the hot water was barely luke warm.

Unfortunately previous review about their unnecessary AMOUNT of PEEPING GUARDS is totally ACCURATE. They will ALL repeatedly walk by room & GLARE AT GUESTS — Actually they start from the moment you're on property & do this CONSTANTLY-even when asking the front desk to put a stop to this-UNTIL YOU LEAVE. They chase away their guests! they just keep zombie-circling the rooms. The rest of the time they stand around staring at nothing, because they DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO! (NOT THEIR FAULT. ) you literally have to close the (broken) drapes and sit in a dark room in broad daylight. You're NOT ALLOWED TO RELAX! We're talking about midday on a weekday, with literally less than about 15 guests here. Which indicates they are simply BORED because there are TOO MANY of them! Is the OWNER COMPLETELY PARANOID?! ONE guard on weekdays, with TWO the weekend NIGHTS ONLY would be enough as it's EMPTY on a FRIDAY! No one can even FIND the place! ) *RESURFACE & PUT NEW PLUGS IN YOUR ANCIENT TUBS. *pay for new airconditioning units built before 1972. *fix your goddamned broken drapes. *check the broken stuff after guests have checked out instead of further disturbing their stay. *get some gratitude for your guests who are overpaying for a garbage motel with disrespect and harassment for thanks, jackass. THEN we'll appreciate the lack of UNSAVORYcharacters; which for NOW are (SOME) of the EMPLOYEES.

I use to rent rooms here plenty other times, but this last visit was the worst visit I ever experienced. The staff were rude. They were constantly check up on me and my guest for no reason. Also I don't know what business the staff member and security guard had to call the towed service on my car when it had a parking permit the whole time I was there. I'm seriously not happy with that. Now I have to lose money to get my car out too.

I've been staying at this Motel 6 in Rancho Cordova for almost 30 years. I appreciate how Motel 6 has remodeled the rooms and added more Security. The staff has always been very helpful and the rooms have always been clean. I really appreciate the fact that Motel 6 is pet-friendly! Thank you.

Great location target area, other than the fact of room quality smell floors and bathroom cleanliness not up to standard. My scare of possible bed bugs was a constant focus as well with the upkeep such as it was, I wasn't sure. Disappointed the one we stayed in off 120 Sonoma had fridge and microwave and pool was newly modeled this one was dated.

Had been here before, place is def updated. Looks good and had a pleasant stay.

Stayed for 2 days. Everything is perfect.

The room was very clean, and recently remodeled. Motel 6 has always been very spartan, which suits me fine. If you only need a flop for the night, it's safe, clean and has the essentials. This particular Motel 6 was very good because the rooms were recently remodeled. I especially liked being able to get a smoking room! That is a rarity these days. I'll definitely stay at this particular Motel 6 again if I'm in the area in the future.

BEDBUGS! We woke up in the middle of the night crawling with bedbugs. It was disgusting. My kids and my self were covered in bug bites. The manager admitted they had a problem with bedbugs infestation.

Our non-smoking room truly was free of cigarette smell. — much appreciated. The desk attendant was pleasant and professional. The only negative thing was not much choice on TV. The room was clean and adequate, the price was the best.

This place is a total dive. Rooms are rented out long term to hookers, pimps and other societal hangers on. We reserved a non smoking room, but it had obviously been a smoking room before we got there (there were ashtrays in the room! ). When I complained I was told that it was, in fact, a non smoking room, but people smoke in them anyway and are then placed on a "no rent" list. I doubt the hookers, pimps, partiers and johns care whether or not they can rent undar that name again. The staff were corteous and offered us the only other non smoking room available, but it had ashtrays and smelled like one as well, so they gave us a bottle of some smelly good stuff to help. It didn't, but I appreciated the gesture. I got up hourly to check on my vehicle as the parking lot was contantly occupied by loiterers and the local police. I wrote Motel 6 corporate about the situation and was told there was nothing they could do and I would have to take it up with the franchise owner. Seriously? Not only will I never stay at this Motel 6, I will never stay in another Motel 6 anywhere.

As expected with Motel 6; there is good value for the money. The staff at this location is very pleasant, the place is clean, and the rooms were in good repair. I recommend this location for a no-frills comfortable stay. This Motel 6 is above average for the targeted price-point.
