Front desk was friendly. The room was clean and spacious. Quiet location too. The breakfast was good. They also have Wednesday evening reception, but I didn't check it out. I'm pretty satisfied with my stay.

Roaches found in the room on the first floor. I've never ever experienced that in my life. I've seen dirty sheets, cracked and putty walls, especially with older hotels… but never insects like these. Found one in the restroom and one in the kitchen area. Upon checking out, we informed the employees about the roaches, they did not seemed concerned and said they're outside roaches… but still, really with the roaches?

I only got a brief glimpse of their most basic room but it's fantastic! They have a kitchenette in the room, their breakfast setup is divine, and the pet fee is only 15/day! It's a little out of the way from everything but really close to the freeway so travel isn't inconvenient.

Such hospitable & kind staff. Housekeeping was immaculately done in a flash, breakfast was healthy but super yummy too! We got upgraded to a suite with 4 man bunk beds and a master suite, with 2 desks and a kitchen for just 2 of us! Awesome huge bath tub and luxury shower head. Lush towels that are soft & thick. Most pampered I have been in a while for such a reasonable rate! Can't wait to return for a week long getaway!

Spacious room but in desperate need of repairs. Light bulbs burned out, grout in bathroom filthy, unpainted patch work in bathroom shower. Close to freeway but not to close to hear constant freeway noise.

Very acceptable free breakfast; seems clean bur to be picky, the shower curtain was torn and stained. I liked our room layout that shielded the bed area and bathroom from the door to the hallway. Good but very firm mattress. Room air temp control seems a bit limited.

Easily accessible from the Jedediah Smith Trail, perfect for families of young ones who are bicycle touring. Excellent service and a decent hot tub. Only minus is the sub-par pedestrian accessibility to local restaurants. Cattlemans is near, but requires running across freeway on-ramps! We would stay here again.

Clean room, comfortable bed and yummy breakfast. Stayed for 2 nights after Christmas. We enjoyed the quiet snack time in one afternoon. Courteous staff. We had a nice stay in Hawthorne.

This place was incredible in sooo many ways! I travel A LOT and this place honestly was the very best motel I have ever been to.

I stayed on the 3rd floor. It is a nice inexpensive hotel, the room was clean and staff were friendly. I would stay there again.

Decent hotel. Was here to attend a wedding. Stayed just one night. Check in and out was a breeze. Didn't get to try breakfast as I was out late and just had time to wakeup and check out. Room had basic necessities needed for extended stay. The only problem I noticed was that I could hear the guest next door very easily. Other than that I hardly stayed there to provide more useful information. Good, decent, recommended but don't expect some wow factor.

Best hotel ever! The rooms are large, spacious, comfortable, quiet, clean. Our room has a queen bed, double bed with a twin bunk above, there is a desk, dresser, 2 night stands, apartment size fridge, 2 burner, sink, microwave, all the dishes, pots, pans, lots of storage. Well insulated walls so it's quiet and located across the street from Folsom Lake. Right of highway 50, great location! The breakfast are amazing and delicious with several choices, there is a fitness room, pool, and hot tub. Best of all are the amazing staff that make this the best hotel we have ever stayed at! Very professional, friendly, attentive and all around amazing! Thank you all so very much!

When I checked in I said I needed a room for two nights and was told that the cost was 127.00 including tax for each night. I paid for. One night and asked if it was ok to pay for the next night before Check out time. So I can run to the bank and was told no problem. So. When I got back and went to the counter to pay I was now told the manager left a note saying my room rate is now 179.00 from 127.00 because my room was the last room left for the night. I feel that is not right I should have been told about the price incress when I first checked in. I have stayed at this hotel a few time and had a great time. It looks like it's time to change hotels.

The Hotel itself is nice. Only problem I had is we are at the end by the pool and I hear the door slam a lot through the night. Also people stomping up and down the stairs. It's pet friendly for dogs and cats. My cat felt at home and safe.

The rooms are big with a stove top and refrigerator. Great place!

Terrible Hotel! I called the hotel prior to booking my reservation through their website and they assured me that all the rooms in their hotel had full kitchens for cooking our own meals. I booked the room and checked into the hotel but after going up to my room I saw that there was not a full kitchen at all, there was only a sink, microwave, and a fridge. I called the front desk to explain that I had only booked the room because I was told that all the rooms had full kitchens and I was passed off to the General Manager, Michael C. Who was very rude to me and admitted that his hotel had told me that all the rooms had full kitchens and that he was wrong. He did not offer to move me to a room with a full kitchen but instead tried to extort another $70 out of me. He was also very rude during this conversation and I told him he was being a jerk and just decided to hang up and move on with my night since I had a great deal of work to do. I went about my night and about 30 minutes later I received a knock on the door of my room. When I answered it, there were 3 police officers standing outside with their hands on their guns ready to draw and they informed me that I had to get out of the hotel immediately because the manager had called them and told them to do this. The manager had also lied to the police and told them a story about how I "cussed him out over the phone", which I did not do.

Room is comfortable and clean, exceeds my expectations. Wish the water pressure was a little better, but overall extremely satisfied.

You get what you pay for. The hotel was 90 per night. Overall it isn't bad. The breakfast is alright; it's a pretty standard hotel breakfast. The rooms are slightly outdated but pretty comfortable and they do have a little kitchette area. I don't think it bothers every visitor but I was here for business. The room didn't have hangers for clothes and the ironing board was missing a cover. I told them and they fixed it. For the price, I would probably stay again.

Stayed here for two months when I came to US in 2012 and it was a good experience: breakfast was good and the rooms were good. Don't use the international calling option available in the room and they are so so costly.

We stayed here for 2 nights about 2 wks ago and we really enjoyed our stay. Beds are comfortable, pillows are plump, and the room was CLEAN… AND… SMELLED CLEAN, TOO! This is really a plus when considering we have a small dog we always bring with us and this was a PET-FRIENDLY room. So many other motels we have been in are reeking of pet urine and have pet hair everywhere! AND… we have paid MUCH MORE for much less! I commend the hotel staff for the great job they do! Convenient location, too!

Stayed here for a Managers Meeting. I was accidentally left out of the original booking by my company so when I attempted to check in, they didn't have a room saved for me. Well, Michael (manager) helped me out and found me a room and the whole process took less than 10 mins. Awesome staff… Clean rooms… comfortable bed… and a nice full, free breakfast!
