We literally just checked in and took a step into this room. The door wouldn't open all the way because the bed was practically blocking it. Then we went to find the air conditioning as it was very hot in the room despite the window being open, only to find there is only a standing fan. I do not recommend if you are staying in the hotter months, as you will be sweating all of the weeks regrets in the first five minutes. Then we checked out the bathroom. The mini fridge and microwave are all in the same room as the bathroom, and you can barely get into the bathroom at all, as the second bed is almost completely blocking it. It's decent enough, aside from the ominous painted plywood off to the side of the toilet that sits lonely in its dark corner. The shower door only opens if you lift and jiggle it a little. Oh, but fancy this, the shower head has lights that change color in it when you turn it on! And finally, let's gets to the bed sheets, pillows and everything else that is fabric. There are stains all over the outer bedding, enough so that we stripped the entire thing down to its bottom sheets and threw the remaining on the bathroom floor. There was something equivalent to a poo stain on the curtain by the bed. Oh and I of course cannot forget about the beds being on wheels. And this concludes my first hand evaluation of this room. I highly do not recommend if you are looking for a more luxury stay.

This place should have a higher rating. I think it may have been more rundown before their remodeling, but now it’s very nice and clean. It’s my second time staying here and both rooms were nice. The owners are also hey friendly and involved to make sure their guests are doing well. It’s also pretty inexpensive for the area.

The rooms here are absolutely beautiful! This hotel is directly located by Pismo Beach! It's right across the street! This hotel is right in the center off all the best restaurants and no need to drive anywhere! The owners are so Super nice and very accommodating! I was weary from reading other reviews but obviously those people have the wants of a celebrity and the bank account of a peasant. 5+++ stars and will definitely stay here again. The price cannot be beat but yes it's not the Ritz but you aren't paying for the Ritz.

Under new owners ** If you have previously stayed at this motel before heads up its has new slum lords as owners. I went to this motel in 2016 and had a great experience. It was cheap so I wasn't expecting the Hilton. The area is what you are paying for because the motel is dated and it's a motel. I had a great time In 2016 the room was spacious, the owner was very friendly, and they had free breakfast. The room I had was huge and has a full kitchen. I could definitely see myself staying here for an extend time if need be. Sadly when I came back this year I did not realize it was under new management. I asked for the same room or something similar because I had such a great time previously but when I got there I was shoved into the maid living quarters. It was a nightmare. I had 3 people in a closet because I could literally stand in the middle of the "room" and my arm can reach each wall. I'm not overexaggerating it was smaller than my closet. There was no kitchen just a small mini fridge that the broken microwave sat on top of and a fan was shoved in the corner that did not have an outlet to be plugged into because the fire hazard extention cord was completely full. The room was filthy and had a strong order and the bathroom (toilet, sink, and shower) had black mold growing in it. At first I thought I must have walked onto an episode of some prank reality TV show because there is no way this could be the same place I stayed at in 2016.

Dated rooms 70s, I liked the square jacuzzi. Need to up their game on the free breakfast.

Don't go here… we had room 18 and the room seemed ok but when we woke up we had been eaten by bed bugs… I even got an allergic reaction to the bites. Don't go here.

The price was cheap but the room was cheaper! TV didn't work, I told manager that I was broken with wires hanging out all over and could I please have a different room, he said no, so I sat in the dirty little tiny room watching YouTube on my cell phone. Unacceptable, don't stay here in this dive. Spend a few more $ and stay at motel 6, or the premier.

Its nice me and my wife love our room the jacuzzy is a lil old but it works fine thay are remodeling thay have a big TV and new mattress and hard wood floor.

I was really worried when my son in law was reading the comments and reviews because it was the LAST ROOM IN PISMO at the time and already booked it with my credit card non refundable but when we went back not only 2 hours earlier but I asked the lady bout bed bugs she told me they had just got all new beds well that calmed me a lil but had to make sure myself we got to the room now mind u it is a old motel but was very pleased with everything in and about the room new floor, painted, new mini ice box and all new beds now its still needs a lil more tlc but all those comments made b4 I believe need to be UPDATED! NOT TO SHABBY SEA GARDEN.!

Definitely the worst Hotel I have ever visited. Luckily it was a single night. For what it is, it's expensive. Very dirty, furniture and old and battered infrastructure. Bad breakfast. Attention, cordial.

Small room with hard white lightning. No heating, poor to no Wi-Fi signal, stained blankets. TV was broken. Breakfast consisted of stale old cookies, donuts and cereal. Coffee was hot and decent.

The hoes are very nice they will go out of your way to give you what you need it's only 2 blocks from the beach can't beat it for the price for me and it seated all my needs good location Ocean Breeze and not that many petitioners" that's my line of work" changing the world one signature at a time.

The rooms are older but it reminds me of being at the beach when I was a kid very nostalgic and the man at the front desk was really super nice.

I do not like give a bad reference, but this hostel is not so good. We were supposed to stay two nights, but after one night we left. The owner is good guy, he paid back for one cancelled night. The room was covered with dust, old furniture, it smells weird.

Great price. Great location. Staff was nice.

TERRIBLE CHOICE! Smells bad, mold in bathroom, no AC, and the parking lot was nothing short of a backstreet whorehouse! And yes, I contacted the owner to inform him of my negative reviews. It doesn't bother him, at all!

I wish I could give 0 stars. This was probably the worst hotel experience. $300 a night for a dump. There's a kitchen that is not functional. The excuse for the stove not working was that it wasn't worth it for one night (again $300). No working A. C. Disgusting shower with black mold. We will NEVER visit this place again. HORRIBLE! The guy at the front desk was a COMPLETE jerk. Never again.

Check in was very easy. Bed was comfortable, and the room was much cleaner then I expected for the price. Breakfast was cereal in the office, didn't really bother with it. Wifi was good quality. We were allowed to keep our car there after checkout which was amazing! We did wake up with some bites, but for the value it wasn't so bad.

Left in a huge hurry this morning after seeing 3 bed bugs. I've never seen a bed bug before so I looked it up and that's exactly what they were. Two on the bed that my daughter was sleeping in and one on a bag. I should have not been surprised, because our room was the most run-down and filthiest place I've ever slept. The lights even flickered so we had to shut them off. No screen on the bathroom window, but had to have it open because the only air circulation was provided by a dirty stand up fan, so I stuck our little fan in the window, but it sucked in the neighbors cigarette smoke, as they stood in the ugly yard which was our view (see pictures). I booked this room online, knowing it only had one star, but we were exhausted and everything else was booked that wasn't over $240 within 10 miles. I should have kept driving and slept in the car. Worst $133 I've ever spent. Now we deal with trying to kill bed bugs. There should be a standard for motel rooms proprietors should have to follow. This place is a health hazard. By the way, the fridge and microwave are in the bathroom, across from the toilet. I could go on and on about the yuck. And I have a video of a bed bug crawling on the bed my daughter slept on.

My family and I went on a random trip to pismo. Arrived on a Saturday so of course everything was booked and high priced. With little money and no place to Stay, the manager helped us find a nice spot where we wouldn't be bothered to camp out for the night. The following day, we returned to get a room and enjoy our little vacation. They were so sweet and made sure we were comfortable. Even though there were some flaws in the room, we still enjoyed our stay. Being a walk away from the beach is always a plus with kids.

Centrally located in the down town Pismo area. We walked to Brads for lunch and just up the street for Rosas. Never moved our car. Really nice area. Rooms need updating, but still ok. The room was clean with crisp clean sheets.

The location is good the room is small and it needs to be renovated the service is good overall it is ok motel I will come back.

The room was dirty, the workmanship was awful. The bathroom had a large piece of plywood screwed over what appeared to be a door. The second floor window did not have a screen. Half of the lightbulbs were out. I've never felt a mattress so hard. There's a difference between an old building and a building that has not been kept up. This was a bit frightening. The sink did have a TON of water pressure. But the shower was so small that you hit your elbows on the walls while you shower. The bedroom had 2 full size beds, but were so close to the front door that the door doesn't open all the way before hitting the first bed and you have to side step around the second bed to get into the bathroom. The mini fridge was not cold, even at the highest setting. This place really needs some TLC.

Would not recommend anyone to stay at this motel. Will never stay at this over priced motel! put it this way microwave and fridge are in the restroom!

I stayed there and found the owner/manager to be pleasant. The price is fair and location is great. Like many of the motels in pismo, its older but comfortable. My stay was very nice.

Horrible experience. Rooms where dirty and disgusting. Whole place was run down. Very limited parking not to mention the management was rude and disrespectful. The manager/owner or whoever he was tried to pick a fight with my husband for throwing a diaper in his trash can. We immediately left and went to another hotel. Not even asking for our money back. Then he had the nerve to call the cops on us after my sister wrote a bad review about him the next day. Said he was scared we would come back to hurt him. Where live 3 hours away and he was definitely not worth our time. Needless to say the SLO police were on our side. Do not stay here.

We paid 70 dollars for a room here. The fiat one we were put in smelled so bad we asked for a different room. This one had a caving in ceiling and a handicap restroom. Dirty and uncomfortable. Blah. Just don't stay here.
