Greeted with cheer when we checked in. The room is perfect with little touches that make it cozy. It was my wife's Birthday and they made it special. We visit Morro Bay 3-4 times a year and this will be a go to. Thanks for Customer Service and just being friendly!

This little gem is such a great place to stay! Sandy and Jenn made us feel right at home in our lovely room which boasts of a king sized bed with nice fresh linens and down comforter, hard wood flooring, a treat basket with snacks and water and vaulted ceilings. There were rocking chairs on the patio, a quaint sitting area and new bicycles to peddle down to the water front, which were included with our room price which was priced competitively. The grounds and rooms are meticulously kept and spotless. We look forward to staying here on our many returns. 10% discount is given on direct bookings.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times and every time the service is the best I've had at any hotel period. The front desk is always extremely friendly, especially Lacy and Jen and ready with suggestions of things to do and places to eat in the area. The rooms are clean and well decorated. Also the complimentary bikes are a definite plus. We will keep coming back.

This place was super adorable and extremely clean. The bed was comfortable and it was in a great location. Our only complaint was the room was very warm due to the pilot light on the heater. With the window open it was a good temperature, but there was a lot of noise outside. Other than that, everything was great, we would definitely stay here again!

Best place to stay. Name fits them perfect. We're always treated very kind and our fur babies love the room.

Clean, beds are super comfortable, quiet. Within walking distance to the Embarcadero. Blow dryers would have been convenient.

This place was designed for children or very small people! The toilet and sink face one another and are so close together, you can barely stand between the two, without hitting one or the other. The shower looks like it is stuck in the 1970’s and reminds me of my military days. No shower head, missing or moldy caulk, and you never know when the water will simply go from hot to cold or to the point of burning you. Definitely not safe for children! The toilet won’t flush more than 2 pieces of toilet paper (single ply, at that), so be warned. The sink has a shelf over it that’s glass and is so wide, you’ll hit your head against it if you aren’t careful when washing your face or brushing your teeth. The windows aren’t properly covered with the old window curtains they use, so anyone walking by the back area can see in through your kitchenette area. The outer door isn’t sealed at the bottom, so expect bugs and wind drafts to come through all the time. There is no carpet, so the cold air is amplified. The heater they have in the room likely dates back to 1970, so when it does come on expect to hear metal pinging all night long. There are very few outlets in the entire room. I had easy access to one in the bed area and one in the kitchenette. No outlets in the bathroom, so if you need to use a hair dryer, electric shaver or whatever, you’ll need to go to the kitchenette to plug it in and use.

Only stayed 1 night and was very impressed, didn’t want to leave. Room was very clean and the beds were perfectly comfortable. Nice & roomy. Will definitely be staying here again!

Quaint, comfortable and safe… close to the water, shops and restaurants. Free rental bikes for guests and nice touches in the rooms that you don't find at most other hotels (free snacks and bottled water).

Nice little Motel. At first glance, everything looks clean. Here and there, it might be a little cleaner. Location is great, just a 2 minute walk from the beach.

Upon checking in (with a lovely female, dark hair) I Requested and Received approval of a 12sharp check out (11 is the typical check out time. ) Started my morning shower & at 11:07am, I heard someone knocking at the door, then banging, harder, then threatening to break the door down. It was the "manager" threatening me with the police. Upon opening the door, soaked she refused to acknowledge anything upon my check in; 12 pm checkout, previously arranged. She kept repeating"No, get out. " At 11:17 the police arrived to assure my departure. I'm pretty well travelled and in some pretty rough areas and I've never had such treatment, never. My mission is to ensure no one, especially a single woman is treated in this way by this proprietor, in this town ever again.

Used to be quaint and reasonably priced, now it's hoity toity and over priced.

Cozy rooms & pet friendly — our room came with a snack basket for the humans and a sweet little gift bag for our pup with a tennis ball and some treats. They also provided doggie bowls. Free bike rentals which was fun to ride to the rock!

Real nice place, close to water, free bike rental, seals making noises all night. Real nice.

We only stayed one night but wish we’d stayed longer. We arrived to a tastefully and generously decorated room that had been staged by the staff with birthday decor including balloons, sparkling cider, chocolates and a personalized birthday card. The room was clean, comfortable and the hotel was in great vicinity to the Morro Bay strip. From our room we were serenade by the local seal population which is highly active both day and night! We can’t wait to go back! Thank you Pleasant Inn staff.

Best place to stay in Morro. We rented the small room at the back and it was a lovely experience.

Thank you, Darcy and staff. We had a great stay. Sadly it was just overnight. The inn is so quaint, and as the name states extremely pleasant. Exceptionally clean and the kitchenette is nicely stocked. Can't wait for a return visit!

We stayed only one night at Peasant Inn but it was truely memorable. It's is so pretty, well maintained and spotless. Darcy at reception was wonderful and greeted us so warmly and provided great tips for dining. It is a spectacular position just a quick walk to the waterfront. Would definitely recommend it.

The cutest hotel ever. We had a pleasant stay at this hotel and will recommend it 100%. Such a nice team and we had a warm welcome to our honeymoon. Clean rooms with nice little details that make you feel home.
Morro Bay is the perfect stop for a roadtrip from Los Angeles to San Francisco and you should not miss it. The morro rock is worth a visit and you can see it from the parking area of the hotel.

We had a great 3 days here! Ok ok so one day all we did was sleep but sometimes you need that on vacation! The bathrooms are very tiny, but the place was built a long time ago lol. They could definitely add a shelf in shower and upgrade the pillows, but other than that it was great! Including Darcy and staff totally surprising us with our personal message on the sign! You won't be dissapointed when you book your next stay here!

My daughter and her husband stayed here for their honeymoon in March 2015. The folks at Pleasant Inn were most gracious and made their stay a memory to be treasured. Jim and Mary were just great. Mary arranged a garland of fresh flowers on their bed, and Jim booked them into a great room. I appreciate all they did, and now I'm finally sharing that appreciation a review. Thanks!

Lovely hotel with a very welcoming and helpful staff. The hotel is in close proximity to restaurants, bars, and other activities, not to mention Morro Rock. The walls are paper thin and showers quite tiny, but otherwise it was an enjoyable stay.

Very clean, no noise. Located at 5 min walking distance to the harbor and shops. No breakfast but lots of breakfast places nearby.

Special thanks to the Staff at Pleasant Inn, they surprised us to a special treat after we returned from our dinner. Great place, a very cozy, quaint, quite and CLEAN place. Very comfortable room. Short walk to anywhere on the Embarcadero. Highly recommend! We will be back. Thanks again!

Whe had a delightful stay there.
The town is gorgeous and there's bikes available at the reception for a ride on the shore (sunset is breathtaking).
We even had a surprise for our honeymoon, when, returning from the restaurant there was a greetings with our name on the neon sign and a bottle to celebrate at the door of our room.
The place is lovely renovated and decorated.
This small family business has it all, and will make sure that your stay will be (more than) pleasant.

Fantastic little gem. Quaint, charming, and comfortable room. More of a bed and breakfast than a motel. Jim and Sandy are fantastic hosts. Would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

I stayed here for one night with my Mother. This is a remodeled Motel turned into a boutique Hotel/Motel. We had rooms and One had a King Bed, the other had a Queen Bed. Both rooms had a real Kitchen (albeit small) and a small but functional Bathroom. There was a front entrance leading into the Bedroom and a back entrance through the "kitchen" to the parking spaces right behind the rooms. The rooms were super clean, Beds were very comfortable, TV with HD Channels and HBO, free Wifi. The Wifi was not working in our Rooms initially — but after the Hotel Manager rebooted the Access Point that acted as a repeater for the rooms in the rear it was amazingly fast. There is no Air Condition and no Ceiling fans. We arrived on a particularly hot day — but as soon as the Sun was down a really nice cold breeze came in from the Ocean cooling down the rooms very nicely. Walls are thin — you can hear your Neighbors — wasn't an issue for us, but YMMV. Overall 10/10, would stay there again.

We stayed in rooms # 2 that had a king size bed with a kitchen that had everything you needed including pots and pan, and utincels. Also, had a fridge, microwave, and a back door through the kitchen. There was a flat screen, coffee maker, plenty of towels. Morro bay had it's farmer's market the weekend we were there (which was the next block up) and we bought everything we needed to make a great breakfast for the next day. The motel was 2 short blocks away from the water. Sandy was the best hostess we have ever at any motel we have stayed at. She made us feel very comfortable and at home. I highly recommend staying here. Loved this place! Thanks again Sandy! :).

We chose the Pleasant Inn for their pet acceptance policy; it is very clean and it is in a beautiful town, Morro Bay. Sandy is very accomodating and makes it clear that we should ask for anything and they will try to get it done for us. Our room was very clean and the bed was truly comfortable. Pricing was great! The lady who cleans the rooms was extremely helpful getting extra items for our room. The Inn is a walk from the Galley Grill, which is THE BEST seafood in town. We will visit again. Thank you Sandy.
