Great place to stay we had a room with a balcony and enjoyed the view we had the bed was nice room was large and great friendly staff will stay here again.

Nice place to stay for the night. We enjoyed a room without carpets, though this does not apply to all rooms we would recommend one asks for this.

Lovey hotel a few blocks from the bay, Morro Rock and Embarcadero. Quiet, clean and affordable. Nice views of bay & Morro Rock. Hotel theme is birds. Very appropriate for this location. Many pictures & books of birds all around hotel. I will definitely return:)

Great location in Morro Bay. Excellent value. Very close to where I was. Lots of parking. Late check-in and late check-out. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was nice. Bed a little lumpy, pillows not very soft. Room smelled kind of funky upon entering. Quiet room. Breakfast sub par and ended at 10:30 am on the dot. Otherwise, a pleasant stay. I might stay again, but options in Morro are usually not as good as SLO.

It's a pretty average hotel, it has super nice staff and a clean bathroom.

Nice, clean, quiet very spacious room upstairs, I think it was room 307. The bed was very comfortable. There is an elevator, the staff is courteous & breakfast was included. So close to the bay, 5 min walk. I would stay again.

Here at La Serena Inn From 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM you get a complementary breakfast. If you bring your girlfriend or your significant other I guarantee that she or he will be very happy. So yes I suggest and recommend La Serena Inn The next time you come to Morro Bay.

Very small, quiet, little hotel close to Morro Rock. Very typical small hotel. Not fancy with a simple breakfast. I would stay here again.

Great hotel with a great view. The rooms are large and well appointed. It has a microwave and small fridge in the room. The cable is extensive and includes HBO channels. Our stay included a very typical basic breakfast found in hotels, but was on the third floor and had beautiful views. Well worth the stay if you are in the area and the off-season rates were excellent.

Watch out for shady pricing tactics. Stay 1 night and get an offer slid under the door for a second night that costs 10 dollars more than the first night. Always was cheaper the next day when we stayed there before. So I just gave them the invite without checking the math first. My bad. Won't be staying here anymore in the future. Will be telling people about the bad business practices of a once reputable motel. Don't stay here without checking the math. Bad, bad front desk gal Angela should be run off for being unethical about this practice. This place can Piss off!

Pacific Highway Coast trip and one of the hotels that I stayed at. For the price I think it's top 3 hotels in the area by far good little breakfast everybody's nice everything is very close by within walking distance and the rooms have good views and are comfortable and clean much more than I expected for the price will definitely be coming back here again.

Have stayed here plenty of times over the years. Rooms are always very clean. Lobby is great with any requests. They have board games you can check out. Coffee is always hot. Breakfast is better than any Continental breakfast I've ever had. Great views of the Morro Rock from certain rooms. Sauna is always a treat after a long day. Plenty of free and secure parking. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a room in Morro Bay.

This is an awesome place, super clean, really nice hostess, and for a Thursday was inexpensive. This is the best one I've stayed at yet.

This is a very clean nice place. We got a great deal and spent two nights here. The continental breakfast in the morning is small but delicious. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking for us, some covered parking which is also monitored by camera, just makes you rest easy. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Totally saved us from sleeping in our car! The young lady that checked us in was so sweet, she got us a pullout bed and snacks to eat! So very greatful!

The people behind the counter and room service were very nice, the location was excellent, and the rooms altogether clean and comfortable.

Good place to stay with a great view. For the first time after many stays staff had problems checking my family in. Felt like manager could of compensated us for the trouble considering we had a large group staying for 2 days with a very tired infant to boot. We were not checked in to room until 5 pm! But would like to give a shout out to Jessica who felt bad & was very kind & as helpful as she could be without having any leverage. So thanks for trying Jessica! Appreciate your effort none the less.

Good hotel, not updated at all, but still very decent.

The good: very clean. Excellent receptionist good location. The bad: poor lighting. Poor electrical outlets for electronic gadgets.

Very nice. Well appointed! Very nice staff! They have colored sheets! The place is off of the main drag, so it's quiet except for the noisy Sea Lions down on the beach if you have the window open!

Comfortable stay and a walk away from everything. It is a block or so away from Embarcadero and Main St. Friendly and helpful staff. We had a regular king bed room and it is room with TV/Dish Network, good water pressure, mini fridge, and small microwave. Happy with the size of the room and location. Walls and floors are a little thin but with the air/heater or TV on it is hardly noticeable. We overlooked the police station lot but we were out most of the day so it didn't really matter. They do have rooms with views. Note that there is a marine layer in Los Osos and Morro Bay more often than not.

Had an awesome time! The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was really nice and the hotel is just a short walk away from the embarcadero. Check out the food and music down at the Otter Rock Cafe nearby!

The shift manager Jo was heaven sent! She was so wonderful in helping us correct a booking mistake. For a very small fee, we ended up with an upgraded room with a view! The room and bathroom was extremely clean and the furnishings quaint. This place is a 10 minute walk to the downtown area with restaurants and shops. They have a wonderful sundeck where my honey and I had breakfast and watched the cloud cover lift and unveil Morro rock. I sat there awhile watching the fascinating play of light on the Morro rock.

We'll be using this place from now on. Between good Mexican food, good Italian food, 2 places to have a beer & play pool plus the Embacadero within a 5 minute walk, no doubt. The median price, great staff & an awesome breakfast room makes it a inn for us.

Pretty big room and very clean. More than enough towels and they weren't scratchy like most cheaper hotels. Easily reachable off the 1.

Spacious room, with a location that's tough to beat. I'm so close to the water, I can hear the seals when I open the door to the balcony. It's near Libertine, which is reason enough to stay here, really. Would visit again!

This is the place to stay in Morro Bay! The staff was helpful, the room was clean and the whole place is well kept. Just 3 walking blocks away from the Embarcadero and block away from the saturday farmers market. Our room had a view of the east side of the bay. Will be the place I be staying at when I'm going to Morro Bay!

Don't stay in room 208. It's the worst possible room. It's directly below the deck next to the breakfast room. You can hear every step someone takes. It's also am adjoining room. We got maybe 4 hours of sleep in 2 days. Management refused to compensate or take responsibility for any noise disturbances. There were also ants in the bed, bathroom and table. We had to end up throwing out our snacks. Never again. …

Stayed here for our anniversary for 2 nights an had the best stay. Room was clean and beautiful. The bed was comfortable. We had a balcony that we could see the ocean from. Nice an relaxing. Great location. Walking distance to alot of great things. Free continental breakfast in a cafeteria type room. Food was wonderful. Staff was amazing! Always smiling an greeting us as we walked in the lobby. Would Def recommend this hotel. Husband an I are already planning our next visit. Thank you LA Serena Inn for a beautiful Stay.

Friendly staff, large room with a comfy bed, great views and breakfast in the morning, close walk to downtown area and Morro Rock.

This is the only place we feel comfortable staying when we're in town.

Very accommodating. We had our wedding reception in their banquet room. All of our 50 guests stayed at the hotel for the weekend. You're walking distance from shops, restaurants and bars. The weekend staff and the hotel's Assistant Regional Manager were so good to us. La Serena is now our Go-To hotel when we're Morro Bay.

Pros: Clean room, walking distance from restaurants and water. Cons: Our air conditioner was loud and you have to use sister hotels if you want to take a dip on the pool.

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the lack of smells. The desk clerk was very professional, a nice young man. The room was reasonably priced, clean and quiet. I have bad allergies and didn't react at all. The breakfast was basic, but with a great view of the ocean.

Peaceful stay, Beautiful view: The wife and kids took an end of summer vacation to Morro Bay and we stayed at La Serena Inn. The hotel was a great value, we chose a bay view room and had a beautiful view over the bay. The rooms were very comfortable, the service was excellent and our stay was very peaceful.

Great place. Nice, big, quiet rooms, excellent service, free parking, nice breakfasts. Good value too.
