Every thing was nice and clean.

Very close to cruise port. Very friendly staff.

Front desk people very friendly and helpful good breakfast.

Great breakfast buffet, super close to the port, shuttle service with a excellent driver to the port, great huge sized rooms for the money. Clean! Perfect.

Manager was so rude I feel story for his staff … we got stuck in the elevator and they acted like it was no big deal and was a mix up in taking us to our cruise which the staff was very nice and called a Uber got us but the manger came out from behind the back mad and said he don’t know why they would credit me for a Uber he made a point to cone back from around a wall to scold me and I front of others his poor staff looked horrified and when I told him I was going to report him he said go right ahead I am the general manger nothing will happen.

The rooms were nice and clean, the staff was very attentive, and the breakfast buffet was very good!

Nice hotel, great location, large comfortable rooms. But no internet in room 324. Step out 1 foot into the hall and you have full bars! Told the front desk and they act like they had no idea. I am pretty sure I am not the only person who has complained about this. There is no router up here for this room! Manager Dennis Banks can’t be reached on weekends. Sorry, if you want to use the Internet come down to the lobby or use the business center!

A wonderful stay, we were here for a cruise and the staff was helpful, the accommodations comfortable and the breakfasts tasty. They have a bar with beer taps but it wasn’t open during our stay, so that was a little disappointing. Also they were unable to provide change so we had to wander out for laundry money and tip money for the shuttle drivers/cruise bag check. But overall a great facility to stay at. Ask about their amazing historic furniture!

This hotel needs a little updating. The decor is dated, the beds are hard and the carpet is filthy. The traffic and sirens will keep you up most of the night. The shower is great and the breakfast is better than most — but there is NO restaurant, so you would need to drive if you didn't like the coffee or breakfast offered.

Surprisingly pleasant experience. Excellent and quiet air conditioner in room. Clean and quiet hotel. As for the neighborhood… well… we were staying just for one night after attending a nearby wedding, so not there as a tourist. Regardless very comfortable for the price.

I gave this hotel no stars, cancelled my reservation right away, made a complaint about the being put on hold and no one came back to the phone. After making several calls back to the hotel, only to be put on hold every time and simply being hung up on again and again. After calling there customer service number, whom also had to call several times as well before finally getting someone to answer. However my reservation was found. The main reason for my cancellation was the response I got from their g. M. Dennis. When the first words out of his was that he going to have "agree to disagree with me about the duration of the phone calls. I found his reaction to this matter outrageous, if though he did not believe me. I am a 55 year-old man who has better things to do with his time. There are plenty of hotels that will appreciate my business. Never give your hard earned money to any business who don't value you as a customer. On that note I will not be staying at "best western plus hotel " in san pedro, california. Will posted on other sites to warn the public.

We were supposed to check in today at 3pm. It's now 348 and we and 2 other groups are waiting for an available room. Check out is 11. You had 5 hrs to clean the room. Did you overbook? Are your housecleaners on strike?

We booked a room here when we came to the Port o Call village. They had our breakfast ready when we arrived early morning. The rooms were very clean. The convince of an uber from here to the port o call is awesome. Not to mention that we were able ti have so much fun while being responsible. When we checked out they had once again ready. They provide eggs, bacon, sausage, juice… etc like REAL breakfast. 2 thumbs up!

Clean hotel with great staff and a great breakfast. A gem in San Pedro! We stayed a week and enjoyed our stay. Tip: Rooms with windows facing Gaffey St. Are noisy at night with the busy street being right outside your window. However, these rooms do have a better view of the harbor. For a quite nights sleep a room at the back would probably best.

Excellent service, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast variety and food great; including some gluten free and dairy free options. Gym/exercise facility very good. Room amenities and bed comfort excellent. Parking and security elevators great. Very good value. Only drawback is street traffic noise if in rooms facing street (especially from motorcycles) … so bring your ear plugs and enjoy your stay.

Me and my family stayed here one night. Had a room near the beautiful pool and spa. The room faced street was loud but the quality of everything good at this Hotel made it bearable. Thank you Stephanie the mgr. FOR making us feel at home⚘

Super friendly helpful service. Very clean. Great Decor. Love the high ceilings in the rooms and the big doors. Rooms are standard size and accomodations. Nice breakfast, limited choices: waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, coffee, apple juice, orange juice… Serviced and presented nicely.

Nice clean hotel close to cruise port. Staff is very efficient and friendly. Breakfast was great. We enjoyed our stay. Lots of fast food places nearby. I would recommend the Ono Hawaiian BBQ a couple of doors away.

Best Western has really stepped up their quality and customer service. Rooms were clean. Right off the 110 Freeway. Plenty of parking. Close to food and shops.

The hotel was very clean, centrally located, and offered a shuttle to cruise ship. Also the owners were new and the restaurant was had not opened yet, so I'm sure that was excellent. I definitely would recommend.

Clean hotel, great customer service. Very nice room. The free breakfast in the morning was great. The location itself is a little sketchy with homeless floating around the outside. An impossible to cross intersection to get to and from the hotel.

A bit pricey. But great location for cruise tourists. Long term parking for a fee and a shuttle to the Cruise terminal is a great value add.

Stayed in the executive king suite. Let me say, this is the place to stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and spacious. We stayed here because the rooms we're less expensive than staying at a luxery hotel in Long Beach and they offer free parking and complimentary breakfast. Breakfast was delicious and the breakfast staff made us feel at home. If you like sushi, try the place next door.

This hotel is a great hotel, clean and comfortable with a great selection for Breakfast. If you are taking a cruise, as we were, this hotel fits the bill. It's a mile from the cruise terminal with shuttle service. If you have extra time the Battle ship Iowa is next to the cruise terminal and within walking distance. It has a excellent tour package and very informative.

Nice enough staff but management needs to get their s**t together. I had to change for work (after driving non stop from San Diego) in the lobby bathroom because the rooms wouldn't be available for another 30-45 minutes. And I checked in at 3:45pm. The staff at the front desk was nice enough to take and hold my luggage while I head to work. Hope the room is more stocked then the lobby bathroom…

Older but comfortable hotel. I felt secure there, because a guest must have a room key card to use the elevators. The room was clean, and had high ceilings. The hotel has parking for guests driving to to hotel. Parking was not an extra fee. The hotel had the best breakfast I have ever enjoyed. The staff was freindly and answered all our questions. I will stay here again.

Wonderful property. Elegant yet modern with all the amenities you could want. Especially helpful and friendly Hotel staff always going the extra, extra mile for guest. This boutique style property has something for everyone to make a most memorable stay.

We love this hotel and always stay there when e we are going on a cruise. The rooms are so nice and the bed is very comfortable. We like it so much we stay on our way back home when we have plenty of time to to start for home and stay on the road some where else. We highly recommend it.

Nice pool and spa. Breakfast options were nice and coffee was good. The staff was friendly. My travel partner did have another guest walk into his room. Her key card worked on 2 doors.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed. The staffs are very friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet had a large spread. Rooms are clean and the beds are super comfortable. I would recommend this place.

Everything about our stay at the Best Western Plus in San Pedro was first rate. The price was better than most of the comparable hotels in the area. The hotel interior was beautiful, very well done. The staff was very attentive and took care of whatever we needed whether it be calling a cab, helping us find a place to have dinner, etc. Our room was very clean and roomy. My husband and I agree that this was our best hotel stay we've ever had.

Stayed here for 2 nights while in town for the Growlers Six music festival. The rooms were huge (as far as hotels go) with high ceilings, separate office space, and a closed off bathroom. There were 4 of us in the room and it had plenty of space. Breakfast was free both mornings which is perfect for long and expensive festival days. The staff were all so friendly and cheerful. Would definitely stay here again.

We chose this hotel for its proximity to the San Pedro cruise port and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The building may be older, but the rooms are nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast had more options than some other hotels, and they offer guests the option to order in dinner and use the dining room to eat it in. The staff for was very friendly and helpful, and they offer a shuttle to the cruise ship.

We had the BEST time staying there. Will stay again, when we return again. The employees are FANTASTIC! The shuttle driver was GREAT help getting us to and from the port. We had so much to carry, but he was GREAT!

We stayed at the Best Western on our way to a business/leisure trip with our company. The hotel was clean and comfortable and our room was very spacious. The front desk staff was awesome, they were very informative and friendly. It was convenient, safe and reasonably priced to leave our car there for the duration of our trip. Thank you Best Western!

Nice hotel at unexpensive neighborhood of Los Angeles. Looks safe at night. Nice pool. There is balcony around the rooms and people smoke. So beware on the room location. Nice free parking. Poor breakfast. May be improved.

They give rooms to first come even though we booked four months ago. Advertise a shuttle to the pier but don't tell you that you need to reserve the time. No shuttle for us cause they're all booked. The room itself is very nice just get here early for a good room.

Rooms definitely get a 5 star rating. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Dropping stars because of the sub par breakfast.

This hotel is very nice, clean, well maintained. The rooms are very clean comfortable quiet warm and relaxing. The breakfast food was hot, much to choose from something for everyone. The hotel staff was very nice, helpful had good recommendations for places to see best times to go helpful with traffic. The hotel cleaning staff was exceptional, very friendly took great care in making sure you're room was clean, comfortable clean linens daily it felt like home after returning each day. They have inside parking under the hotel for safety, out of the weather (great for people with kids) security on the elevators for getting to your room must use room card key. Thank you to the entire hotel staff I will definitely be back here to stay again.

Beds are comfortable anyway I give only 2 stars because of mold in the shower, lack of food and dirty dishes.

Hospitality Staff and house keeping were awesome! Hotel is clean, similar breakfast bar to a Hampton Inn. Internet connectivity kept dropping throughout the day and had to reconnect each time, but not such a big deal. Area is OK. Not overly nice by any means, but OK. Food is close. Pool and Hot Tub area were fine, nothing overly nice, but ok. Cost was somewhat high for the area and overall experience, but Staff made it where we would in-fact go back next time in that area.

I stayed here 12 years ago and had the most horrible experience of my life to the point they refunded my money. I decided to give it a second chance and had an outstanding stay this time. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed the Room was exceptionally clean and it was very quiet. I definitely plan on staying here again when I'm in the area. The pool area was nice and clean as well as the entire outside of the hotel.

Every time that I come home to visit my boys I always stay here, the staff is awesome, and the hotel is like non other. Breakfast is good, but I don't eat pork, so no bacon or sausage for me, and the room was awesome too. I stayed in the ambassador suite for 8 nights, and I'll be back in a couple of months. Thank you to Yesenia, Andy, Jocelyn, Liz, all the staff, housekeeping, Nick, and Gabby as well. The only issue for me is the bar, but we already know about that, and hopefully sometime soon that will change. I miss it already as I'm riding through the Texas countryside back to my cabin, but I have work to do, and I'll be back before you know it.

Im from San Pedro. Lived there for 20yrs. Saw this place go through different owners through the years. Was visiting for the night and found this place to be the most reasonable price. Ive never stayed here and I was shocked. What a nice nice and beautiful hotel. Staff was amazing. Upgraded my room to a mini suite at no charge after a long drive from up north. My husband and I will be staying here everytime we come down. Rooms were so clean. Breakfast was on point. Loved it! Id give more stars if I could!

I got bitten 3 times by bed Bugs, in 3 different rooms, on 3rd and 4th floor, and I got very sick, I would avoid this Hotel and no one to go to this hotel!, if anyone read this, and got bite they have Attorneys for this situation that will take ur case for free until your case is done and you have up to a year, my lawsuit is already in Kevin Campbell, Stephen Collins, Veeda Davis, you should as well! Also my make up artists and Hair designer, car was vandalized when the Cameras was on and when we wanted to see it the GM try to cover it up, and it was erased for some reason! Come to fine out the security whom was watching the cars had something to do with it! And we have Proof! Her whole Makeup case and other things was stolen valued at 1, 000! I will really avoid this hotel! How can you be safe there really! PS : if you need a free attorney contact me!

Got swapped and bitten by BED, bugs! They was very bad. Do any one know what I can do about this? Wow! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! Jessssss.

The room was clean and nicely decorated. It has a nice pool and hot tub. But the bed was too firm and the pillows were lumpy.

All I did was call to check for a future reservation and had such a horrible experience with the man who answered the phone. So much so that I will never stay here. Myself and 6 others needed a room but will go elsewhere. The man who answered the phone went on a rant about how he only makes $8 an hour and doesn't care about how I had to dial in and had issues with there recording. Worst customer experience and we didn't even get to pricing a room. If I was the manager of this location I would be firing these people who feel they are underprivileged and complain to the customers they are trying to attract. Bad business period!

Nice Hotel. It is a little older so it has a smell that took us some getting used to. The room was spacious and inviting. The bed was comfortable. The jacuzzi was good. Pool is not heated. The complimentary breakfast was ok. The hotel wass packet and they could not keep up. Really close to the cruise ship and we parked in the covered garage for the week. $10 a day.

I stayed at this hotel the night of February 12 2016. A man was strangled to death in the parking lot overnight. I woke up to find LAPD and crime scene tape all over the place. Really.

Stay was nice and all like the others but I got bite by something (bugs). I spent the extra money to stay at a place that this wouldn't happen. I would try them again but not that same room.

My room was at the old bldg but overall it was good stay: PROS: Inexpensive price, nice and clean room, free break-fast and Wi-Fi, cozy pool area, very close to San Pedro for business trip CONS: No elevator in the old bldg. Break-fast starts 7AM (too late for business), Busy & Noisy area, complex path from the parking to lobby, lobby to room. Water leaking air condition (Room 203) Not fancy hotel but enough for business trip except for the late break-fast start time.

Excellent breakfast. Nice staff. Fair security. Room had a less than satisfactory smell to it. Rowdy kid upstairs and not sure if security handled it.

Poor phone manners. Each time I dialed the operator on 12/2/14 between 2:30 and 3:45 pm, I got hung up on via the phone like 10 times :/ Rude! :/ :@! I ended up booking next door.

Hidden Gem! of San Pedro!, stayed here for a overnight rest because everything else around the area is $200+, This place tops alot of fancy Hotels. Super Clean, Well Maintened, Boutiqe style Hotel. Beautifull rooms with pleaseant deco, and Super clean, comfy, beds. I have stayed at Double tree hotels that are not as nice as this. U will foget u are at a Best Western. Will definetly stay again when in area and recomned to everybody.

We chose this inn due to it’s Victorian charm and nearness to the Korean Friendship Bell where my bride and I were getting married. It is also close to Cruise Ship terminals and Los Angeles/Long Beach Harbor. We stayed in the executive suite which had recently been completely remodeled. It’s a very large room with high ceilings and very clean. Televisions are in the living room area and the bedroom. I found the front desk personal to be very friendly and eager to make our stay comfortable. All rooms include a continental breakfast. We had fresh fruit, juice, sausage and coffee. Breakfast also included various pastries, muffins and bagels. I would definitely return to this inn, but would probably request a room on the backside away from the street noise. Oh, and free parking.

We came out here just for the night and we expected a lot less for what we paid for. They were renovating and yet the noise was not a bother in the room! They were very large beautiful rooms for around $100. Checking in and out was a breeze! u can hear people walking in the hall while in ur room but it wasn't bad at all. Over all it was pleasent.

Great place to stay. It was a nice surprise for the price we paid. Room was clean smelled nice and was very big. Free parking, breakfast and Wi-Fi. Definitely would recommend it.
