So a great experience! Excellent lunch, quiet room, near the beach! Lots of little touches, like a 5 to 7 offered by the hotel, and free parking!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in April. The setting was beautiful and relaxing. The staff was wonderful. All the food was tasty and very nicely presented. We had multiple walks to the beach and downtown Santa Monica and Palisades Park. We would definitely stay again.

Great bread and breaksfast close to the beach in Santa monica. Nice afternoon wine with cheese/salami/spreadable goodies included, as well as a delicious breakfast buffet style. Had an amazing artichoke and parmesan soufflé for breakfast, along with baked goods, coffee, fruit, yogurt, etc. Historical home built in 1910 with lots of charm and character.

This place was wonderful. I will try to stay here everyone I visit cali especially if I fly into lax during rush hour.

Lovely spot with fantastic people and very nicely appointed rooms. Walking distance to the beach and great restaurants. Many rooms have private decks but there are also many common area spots (porch, patio, decks) to take advantage of. Surprisingly quiet for a small inn.

Great place. Rachel is super friendly and helpful. After a long travel day arrived to a wonderful wine and cheese happy hour. AND chocolate chip cookies in my room. Room very comfortable and cozy.

Absolutely stunning place. Check in was meant to be at 10pm our plane did not arrive on time. Which meant we got to channel road inn. Around 11:30pm and the stuff were so so so lovely the breakfast and afternoon Chesse and wine was 10/10. Would 110% come back again. Any one looking for a place to stay do not go past this place trust me. Amazing work From Ellen Swinkels and Jason weaver.

Great Hotel have stayed many times in the past, always a positive experience, staff is great, breakfast buffet has many things to choose from, wait staff are very Nice as is the entire staff Great pool area, Rooms are Comfortable and well taken care of, walking distance to restaurants.

I loved my stay here! I came with a friend but think this place would be perfect for couples as well. Breakfast was very tasty, and we were particularly surprised by how nice the spread was for "happy hour, " which included wine, cheeses, homemade baked goods, olives, nuts, and more. The room was charming and included an outdoor area. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Santa Monica any time soon!

Amazing place! Host was so kind and generous, really made me feel welcome. She even kept some of the appatizers out a bit longer because we got in later than planned.

Amazing staff. Homemade baked goods and snacks available at all times. They have bikes and a surfboard to use. My room is big, clean, and well appointed. Lobby area is comfortable, the perfect place to sit and read a book while munching free appetizers and listening to classy music they have playing. My only complaint is that the single pane windows and old walls let through a lot of noise from the road and from the maintenance work being done to the building. I know the person in the room above me fell asleep last night at exactly 10:22pm because I could hear every snore. Bring earplugs and it's not a big deal. The positives of the place are worth it.

Highly recommend to stay here and walk to the pier before dawn.

We just arrived yesterday, and are really impressed by this inn… especially as we were upgraded to a suite (very much appreciated and useful considering all the luggage we have). The staff are lovely, and the breakfast and snacks delicious. Would definitely recommend this beautiful, old house for a visit to Santa Monica or LA.

I could not be happier with this place. I stay in a lot of hotels and inns for my work and this one is by far one of my absolute favorites. The staff is exceedingly personal and you really do feel right at home. I surprised my fiance with a pre-wedding night away. I told the hotel and they were beyond accommodating with making this surprise comfortable and memorable. I also think it is just part of their general service! Expect a gorgeous room with perfect natural lighting. Great water pressure. Lots of space in the room between the comfy King Sized bed and the Day Bed that looked out onto Santa Monica. An upscale continental breakfast. Their quiche was delicious. Cookies upon arrival in your room. Wine and appetizers from 5pm — 630pm. The grounds are spacious where you know there are other guests and will see them but never feel as if your privacy is compromised. We also rented their bikes for free to ride up and down the PCH. Dominique, Heather, and Vanessa were absolute darlings. We had some car trouble on the day that we were leaving. Dominique was so sweet and told us continuously to just make ourselves at home as we waited for roadside assistance to come. They have won us over. If you need a getaway I can not recommend this hotel enough. We will be back.

This place is really special. It is amazing how much we feel at home here. This is what I consider real hospitality. The room is super nice and the food is great.

Sereneness in a world of abundance-stay there if you can The Channel Road Inn is the ideal residence at a popular venue. Every sightseeing spot in Los Angeles is close, the beach is within walking distance and in some rooms you may catch a glimpse of the Pacific. The reviews you read are not exaggerative, they describe what we experienced alike. The family who owns the Inn, the staff and even others guest are kind and friendly. Each room is different and it presents itself like a photography for a high-end interior country style magazine. Our bathroom was the cleanest we experience during our entire road-trip. The team prepares a spectacular breakfast and even cooks special meals on request. As we researched the Inn via trip advisor we have been reading some remarks about Wi-Fi connection and cleanness. We experienced the opposite. It is of impeccable hygienic standards and the internet connection is fast. Manage to spend some time in the living room, everyone meets there, the open fire is romantic and the team serves wine and cheese. The price for a night stay seems high, evidently it is well spend on perfect service and a good night sleep.

Incredibly warm and welcoming hospitality. You'll feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Each room is unique, and the morning breakfast and evening wine and snacks is a nice touch. Great reading room with plenty of chairs and couches to sit down with a good book or conversation.

The service was friendly. The morning breakfast hit the spot. Rooms were a 4 out of 5 because of some slight maintenance and physical upkeep. The room was clean and comfortable.

Pros: Excellent Bed and Breakfast. My fiance and my first stay in a B&B, and I was not disappointed. The staff here were exceptionally friendly, inviting, and accommodated my every request. The food was excellent! They had many amenities, all very nice. During our short stay we enjoyed two of the rooms in the Inn, and both were homey, comfortable, and very well kept. This particular location had great history, and a great feel. Cons: Although a bit on the pricey side, for the location and availability, it can't be beat.

Warm, welcoming, beautiful house. Just 1 block up from the beach. I'm in a mini-suite on the bottom floor that has a wonderful sun room on the back — couldn't be nicer.

My husband and I escaped to the Channel Road Inn after our wedding guests had returned home. We just needed a few days to unwind and relax before leaving on a trip and getting back to life. The staff were accommodating in every way making our stay perfect. They have picked up on all the nuances that any great B&B has available. We will be returning soon. Home and rooms are clean. Breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese were excellent. Staff very helpful. Close to great restaurants and beach. A place for rejuvination with a staff that believe in the B&B experience.
