The roof deck is the bomb. Meeting with other residents for a relaxing bit of view of the ocean is super cool. Quality rooms with a bit of that quirky old world style is super cool. Love that the rooms are a real apartment at the beach. The kitchenette and the BBQ on the roof mean we sometimes do not go out. Well we do. To get more refreshments and to stick our toes in the sand and the surf.

Love the vibe of Venice Breeze suites of the old made new again. I've always had the desk staff point us in the right direction for dinning and happy I can bring leftovers back to enjoy later with a kitchenette. I love to walk on the shoreline, beach and the boardwalk. I get my morning green drink at the Fruit Gallery a few short blocks down the boardwalk. Plus some fun shopping close by on Abbot-Kinney Blvd.

Maybe they should train their staff on giving great customer service. The person (woman) working there this morning doesn't seem to have a clue on how to treat everyone that has a reservation at your establishment with respect! she has shown nothing but ignorance toward customers. She should either be trained correct or seek other employment.

Beachfront is amazing … also the roof top gorgeous absolutely a great place for the location and views.

Awesome location in the heart of the quintessential Los Angeles experience! The view from my room was incredible and the locale ranks as a prime example of everything LA! I would definitely stay here again, and the price was super reasonable, especially considering that a room a few miles inland from one of the major hotel chains was considerably more!

One of the nicest places I've been. It's very secure for being along the boardwalk. The view from the roof is beautiful. It's got a great vibe. The Space is very well used. The elevator holds 800 lbs and is extremely charming & modern. Staff are very helpful.

Absolutely amazing! The property is clean, beautiful and everyone was super friendly! It’s literally steps away from the beach. The rooftop terrace offers more amazing views, comfy seating & gas grill with kitchen that has full amenities to make home cooked meals if you prefer. There’s also a full kitchen in the suites. We ubered, walked or used the scooters to get around. This was the PERFECT place for us to stay while celebrating my 40th bday! THANK YOU VENICE SUITES! We will be back soon!

No Parking for sure, either you can park around the residential nearby or overnight public parking. The location is good, in front of the beach. We had a few issues, one of the shower handles came off, we told the girl at the Front Desk on Sunday evening, she said, she would send somebody to fix it the next day (which was Monday morning). It didn't happen. Then Tue night, we asked the guy at the Front Desk to refill our coffee and creamer, he gave us instant coffee instead of ground coffee. Then this morning (Wed morning) we made coffee and leaked all over the kitchen counter. We thought probably because of the instant coffee, turned out the coffee maker crapped up on us. It's a good thing Taylor (the Assist. Mgr. ) brought a new coffee maker to our room. Five Star for her for sure. She handled the situation properly.

A pleasurable experience, all staff members were extremely friendly and helpful and assist; this is a perfect spot for couples and family friendly. My three young adults and I truly enjoyed our stay. Thank You. We look forward to return.

Had a wonderful weekend getaway here! Amazing service from the staff especially Stella who accommodated our late check in and recommended a bunch of great spots in Venice. Would highly recommend this adorable boardwalk side hotel!

The only thing they don't have is parking and a bar/restaruant on site BUT Do not let the no on site parking discourage you from staying here, ITS WORTH IT! Free street parking is simple and almost always available just 2 blocks east from the hotel or you can go to the somewhat expensive paid valet lots. The staff are very helpful and nice especially when we came to them with our issue not hotel related the lady at the front desk was very nice about it. It's right on the beach and has a rooftop patio open all the time. The room was clean and was a FULLY stocked kitchen with coffee pots and pans, cups, silverware and functional dishwasher. Shower never ran out of warm water and was a rainfall type with a normal shower head too. 10/10 would stay here again.

Venice Breeze Suites is my favorite place to stay when visiting Venice Beach. I've probably stayed here at least 5 times. It is clean, tidy and secure. It is in the middle of the busiest part of the boardwalk, so it's close to everything you could possibly want to see or do! It is a bit pricey, but I don't think I'd stay anywhere else!

Great view and location on the boardwalk. Amazing roof terrace. Staff friendly but provided limited additional service (no carrying bags to room, cleaning during 5 night stay or setting up sofa bed for additional guess). Room was compact for family of four.

I absolutely love this place! The last time I was in California, I had booked one night and ended up booking two more because it was so perfect! I am very excited for my upcoming 3 night stay in April. I honestly don't stay anywhere else in Venice. The location is beyond amazing, the staff is so friendly and accommodating, and the price isn't bad either. If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Keep up the good work, guys!

This place was awesome. By far my favorite place we stayed on our LA trip. I admit we had a partial Ocean View room. The room was very pretty and clean. The kitchen area was very accommodating and the bed was super comfortable for 2. The three windows we're like TV screens. Always something going on and something to see. We left the blinds up the entire visit. Rooftop Terrace provides awesome views and a cool place to chill. This would most definitely be a stop if we ever return.

This place is awesome. It feels like a bit of a home away from home, I even did laundry in the basement (coin operated). Rooms are spacious and clean. Roof deck is awesome and has a grill that you can use. Staff is all super friendly. Stella and Abby and Jeremiah have all been amazingly helpful at the front desk. Found my spot for sure for traveling to LA. Also super convenient to airport.

I loved staying here, especially waking up to views of the beach and palm trees. The decor is chic but casual. The staff were great. There's a great rooftop. This hotel seems like a steal for what you get because it comes with some caveats: 1. Sketchy neighborhood. Visiting Venice is great, but staying there is not for everyone. There is a large homeless population. 2. There's no parking. Even unloading is a little tricky. The recommended overnight parking is several blocks away and $35/day. 3. They don't clean your room every day. It's $30/day extra, or they throw in a free cleaning once a week. 4. Noise. You're right on the main drag, so you can hear people talking, playing music, and of course there's the drum circle.

I liked this funky little place, right on the beach. It was close to work, so I stayed here for four nights for a work conference. I like that it has a kitchen. My room on the second floor had a "partial ocean view", but my colleague in the fourth floor, exactly above my room, had a much better view. If you don't mind climbing the fire escape, you'll be rewarded with lovely views. I'd definitely stay here again. (The attached photo shows the cute elevator sign. )

Very nice for it's price. Rooms were clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. Made me feel at home. Only let down was the parking. There's no onsite parking. Overall great choice.

Service is incredible. Facility is clean and well kept. The suites are beautifully done and have a full kitchen. The location doesn't get any better.

Perfect location to experience Venice Beach.

Cute little hotel in a sleepy town. What a delightful visit. I was only here for a one night work trip but I would like to come back for a few days in the area and enjoy all the benefits of this cute hotel. Rooftop seating, roomy rooms with kitchenette and modern feel/finishes.

I gave this establishment a perfect rating for the following reasons. Location: The Venice Breeze Suites have a great location central to many things in Venice. You are literally on the beach and can walk anywhere you like, it's fantastic. Quality: The room itself is extremely nicely furnished, roomy, amazing bathroom, and an essentially full kitchen — one of the best hotel rooms. Price: The price was extremely competitive. Simply it was a great room with lots of space and nice views and location. The only downside is a lack of parking, this is unfortunate.

This is an excellent choice for business travellers. The check-in was fast, easy and the staff was very friendly. The toilets and facilities are modern and clean. The bed and pillow was also very comfortable. If you're looking for a place to stay in Venice Beach, this is definitely better than The Rose nearby. The only annoying thing with all these hotels near the beach is that finding a place to park on the street is nearly impossible, and there aren't many paid parking lots. Look carefully for a paid place to park before heading there, I spent like 30~40 minutes going around.

Very nice room with kitchenette. Shower has two showerheads. Partial ocean view seen through 3 windows is great. Mirror in bathroom should be framed, but otherwise a nice looking room. Room 404.2nd room from front.

Funky and fun. Large room and comfy bed. Killer roof deck that overlooks the beach. My room was ground floor which was a little uncomfortable with the all street activity. Wifi was weak and slow. Otherwise an excellent stay.

Great room and location. No parking anywhere close though. One lot charges $35 per 24 hours.

Best on the beach! We stayed a week in the 4th floor oceanfront suite and the room was awesome! Spectacular views of the ocean, location was excellent, couldn't ask for anything more! This was our 1st trip to California and the people there are the kindest, most beautiful people in the world! A vacation of a lifetime! Thank you Venice Breeze Suites!

The rooftop is so relaxing and gorgeous during sunsets. We used the grill to have a barbecue one night. The staff is very knowledgeable on places to go/eat as well. We asked one of the managers for a recommendation because we were craving Japanese. He sent us to Sushi Roku in Santa Monica. It was the best Japanese dining experience we’ve ever had. To top this experience off, he not only got us a great table there, he sent appetizers and desserts to us on the house! Now that is service! Thank you Jason!

Very clean hotel. Love the amenities. Everything I needed to cook was there! Close to the beach and vegan eateries. I throughly enjoyed my stay! Would highly recommend it.

Superb location facing directly the beach. Nicely furnished brick apartments. Nice rooftop amenities for BBQ or chill. Only downside is noise from the boardwalk at anytime of the night (skateboard, etc etc)

I find it interesting that most reviews are 5 considering my experience can't possibly be unique. First the rooms are very nice. But the property felt more like a boarding house then a hotel. The person who was there when we arrived was not a nice person. We had no help with luggage. Made my mom who is 85 and I wait till exactly 3pm to get our room (arrived at 11am) … Sited rooms still being cleaned. Not sure how they could be in every room cleaning at same time. Rooftop deck was very nice but people go there to smoke pot and drink. They have no boundaries and don't care if seniors and kids around they just light up. So couldn't use it. There was a constant flow of traffic slamming the fire escape door which was right by my room to go smoke on it. So kept me up all night. I woke up to the hallway stinking of pot. So I won't personally ever go back. If you love that type of thing I think you would totally enjoy. I wish before I booked they gave some warning that they are more suited for partiers so I could have stayed elsewhere and enjoyed V. B. I did not feel safe there period I ordered pizza in and stayed in my room. It was scary.

Great place, well decorated. The rooftop patio was a great place for morning coffee. I didn't like the parking situation. You have to park several blocks away. After dark the area gets to be pretty seedy.

Great Hotel the room was very comfortable location is really cool it's literally right on the beach the difficulty was the parking is a little bit away from the hotel and the room they gave us was on the first floor and it felt like we had 20 guys sleeping outside of our window it was very loud and they were literally right next to our window safest in this place ask them to give you a room a little bit away from that alley or in a second or third floor.

Really nice apartment with a rooftop that offers stellar views of the beach. However the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. Not recommended if you're looking for a quiet place to stay.

Very modern, well kept, customer service and the staff was impeccable down to every detail. Awesome views from the rooftop deck. The beds and linens were extremely comfortable. Friendly atmosphere (staff and guest). The highlight of my vacation.

So incredible the hospitality is unmatched. I made reservations online no issues at checkin All the emplyees were courteous and professional. The rooms have a very homelike feel. Oh the best part! The location beach view, roof top patio, center of beach and everything is in walking distance.

Great location, right in the centre of the strip. Ask for an 01 or 02 room to overlook the boardwalk. Funky compact apartment, with cooking facilities. Fabulous rooftop lounge with BBQ to watch the sunset with your favourite beverage.

Nice place but wall is very thin. A bit noisy from the street/beach boardwalk. I like the interior a lot.

Loved this place. Cool vibe and great location — front door opens right onto Venice beach! Rooftop terrace with BBQ was awesome. Rooms had comfortable beds, modern bathrooms and well equipped kitchens. Friendly, helpful staff. They even provide suncream for us pasty, sun-deprived British tourists. Everything was great. Will be staying here again!

An ideal location, a great room and a fully equipped kitchen area, and a magnificent terrace on the top floor with stunning views of the ocean. Very friendly staff! Recommend.

By far the best place to stay on Venice Beach! Very clean and pretty. The room was amazing and had absolutely everything we needed. And omg the roof top view is to die for. Definitely will be booking every time I go back.

I love it here. Little on the ghetto side once its nite but good place. Good privacy. Good vibe. Hard to locate worker sometimes. But ill be back here everytime ill be in venice o and it has no oven just a fyi I thought it did lol kitchen area is cute.

Less like a hotel and more like your favorite "Martha Stewart" friend emptied out her closet and left you the keys to her on-the-beach-Venice-California-apartment. Everything you need to live like a local for a day, a week, or even longer. Access to the roof top terrace outfitted with cushioned seating provides a wonderful place to watch sunset or drink your coffee in the morning. Wi-fi is free and all the action of Venice — good, bad, and eccentric — is just outside the door opening onto Breeze Avenue. The rooms ending in — 01 and — 02 are the ones that have the best beach view.

We were a little apprehensive booking the Breeze online. Old brick building right on the Venice boardwalk? I dunno if was a good idea. The online pictures of the rooms looked nice but hotel room pics always look nice. But don't worry, this is a great place to stay! The Breeze is very clean, very comfortable, full kitchen, comfy bed, big shower, AC works good if you need it on warm afternoons. We had a studio room on the 4th floor in back but it still had a great beach/ocean view. Just wonderful. The roof deck is small but was never very busy and you are right on top of the boardwalk. Parking is a short walk away but it's covered and secure and doesn't cost extra. Free Wi-Fi too. Stay at the Breeze but just leave room 408 free for when we visit again.

Venice Breeze is a breath of fresh air. I especially like the rooftop terrace where you can watch the sunset while enjoying the ocean air. The rooms are spotless and full of character. Did I mention the sunset views? Parking is problematic, but why not enjoy the Venice boardwalk? This is a well run hotel that you will want to return to time after time.
