The service is so good, the staff are friendly and hospitable. The food is excellent in taste and presentable in settings. The hotel itself is so beautiful, amazing.

First time staying in and the first thing that surprised me was how friendly and welcoming atmosphere the staff make you feel.

Great staff, Zervando was an amazing and helpful concierge and the staff was very pleasant and helpful and made our stay amazing.

Expensive$$$$$ no hotel amenities like ability to buy a bottle of water, no room service, no top sheet, the air conditioner air blew straight down on bed and no way to adjust it, no washcloths, bathroom door was frosted glass so if one person can’t sleep goes into the bathroom to read the bathroom light lights up the whole bedroom, my bedside light kept flickering, no microwave, and the bar fridge didn’t work. So called Restaurant only had a hamburger and greasy fried chicken sandwich and appetizers. But plenty of booze selections and giant dance floor. $50.00 parking and the biggest traffic jam of parents trying to drop their kids off at school on street behind hotel which we were trying to go around the block to get to hospital!

This is a hip hotel and bar with very cool staff that really take some time to assist the customers. It gets busy and the dinner menu is quarantine limited. Like there’s not a lot of choices but it’s decent food. The jazz band were clearly pro’s and having as much fun as the patrons.

I stay here when I am on call for work and it has been great!

Very comfortable room. Polite staff. Valet service could be faster. I waited almost 25 minutes for valet to retrieve my car… plus almost 50 dollars a night for parking? For 50 dollars a night parking, I should receive my car a lot faster. Everything else was awesome.

The hotel is situated next to a busy street, yet the rooms are quiet. The staff is exceptionally helpful, the room was beautiful, and I can't wait to stay again.

Small rooms, barstaff are horrible, and internet is super slow. Horrible hotel and I do not recommend. The small blonde bartender who says she has worked here for 5 years is a very mean and rude lady. I won't ever come back just from the way she treated us at the bar.

I booked 4 rooms for my family when I checked in around 4 pm rooms haven’t ready the other 2 and the receptionist guy told me to wait for another an hour… two hours later two rooms still not ready we were so tired and we need to take a rest 7 pm when finally got the other rooms… at 11 pm we are ready to retired on bed I noticed the bed has no pitted sheets and flat sheets and feathers everywhere on the bed only the duvet cover has a cover on it so again I called for the bed sheets… it’s a rip-off paying
$300 a night and the rooms are dirty full of dust and have an odor smell in their bat rooms… only the good side stuffs were very nice and location is good… I won’t never ever again to booked on this hotel … one more thing I booked the family garden view and they give me a road view I have no more time to complained cause all my families were very tired what you saw in their website is not what you get it’s all advertisement and of course it’s a business. I am not happy at all… I won’t ever recommend staying in this hotel it’s dirty and disgusting…

I was there during Le Diner En Blanc LA, the hotel was packed. From the valet, even though they were very busy, Eddie walked us to the front desk. They have on line check in so when I get there my room and the key we ready. Took me 2 minutes. Very nice and clean room. Room service was fast and the food were excellent. We went to the after party, the bar in side and outside were beautiful. Love this hotel.

The Sofitel LA is an excellent hotel! From the front desk to the housekeeping staff the service was perfect. It is centrally located to all the great attractions LA has to offer. The hotel is very modern and hip. Great restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The front office management is especially great. Will be back!

OMG! What a nice boutique hotel in Beverly Hills! The moment we walked in… so modern. All the staffs are very friendly and helpful. They have a very nice restaurant on the first floor, Cattle & Claw. Super nice outdoor patio area! The Parking: Hotel valet and Street metered parking on San Vicente Blvd.

This was an amazing stay at the Sofitel. It was my first time staying here and felt so relaxed. The room service was timely and all the food was delicious. We were able to get in a work out in their gym. The view from our room was great I would definitely return.

Great stay. Staff was very nice. Would stay again. Clean and great room service. Really want to give a compliment to Edwin in the valet area. I had to get to an appointment very quickly. Even though it was a very busy time, he made sure I got on my way in a very timely manner. Very nice people! Thank you so much! 5 Stars!

Very nice hotel and location. Staff available and friendly. However in view of the prices of the room I regret that there are no more services offered in the room (kettle for example, or bottles of water offered). Very poorly insulated rooms also you can hear everything that happens at the neighbor's house and in the hallway!

This location offered me zero confidence when serving me room service. I informed Bertha in room service 3 times of my dairy allergy and still it wasn’t put properly in the notes. They removed things from my room without asking. My room is also filthy and disgusting with nasty looking stains on the table next to my bed. The cleaning staff obviously doesn’t do their job. I’ll be attaching a photo below of the stains.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful location and exceptional staff! The hotel lobby is very clean, the rooms are roomy and comfortable. It's in a wonderful location with a nice size mall across the street. Plenty of restaurants around the hotel. Their staff is wonderful; especially their concierge, Zervando. We had an idea of what we wanted to see and do in the city, but were overwhelmed with just how big Los Angeles is. Zervando took the time to listen and help us plan an amazing visit! His recommendations exceeded our expectations. We left feeling we had a friend at the Sofitel. Needless to say, we are very much looking forward to our next stay.

We hosted an event here and couldn't have been happier! They were very accommodating during last minute changes, and very helpful and friendly leading up to the event and during the event. The AV team was very professional. The hotel itself is lovely and rooms were comfortable. Close to everything, fantastic location. Would stay again and host an event again if we need to in LA. Took off one star because I did here a few grumblings about two of the menu items we served during the event, just that they were bland and/or too chewy. Other than that, would highly recommend.

Very decent place. Truffle French fries were great. Burger was great. Lobster was good. I liked the concept of lobster and burger rather than lobster and steak. I would eat here again.

Great location with fabulous staff, especially the concierge. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The rooms are a good size and have all the required amenities including a Bose sound system. The shower is very nice. The only room for improvement is they need more comfortable beds for this standard of hotel. The lobby seating arrangement could also be improved. Overall a great place to stay when in LA.

Great location, terrible parking. The bar and food service are fine, but the patio is where it's at. Coming for happy hour and then shopping right across the street seems to be a pretty L. A. Thing to do, but if you're like me, you'll want to uber in or find some rare street parking to make it all worth your while.

The Sofitel has a beautiful ambiance from the time you walk through the door. The bar and restaurant together create an elegant indoor-outdoor experience when open to the patio oasis. The guest rooms are well appointed (with your personal Kureg in each), and the rooftop as well as several rooms have great views of the Hollywood Hills. There's adequate meeting space with natural light in most of the rooms.

Very clean and comfy rooms. Great room service and amenities. The pool area is wonderful. He staff were all helpful and kind. The live jazz music on Monday night was amazing. Overall a great experience.

This is a good hotel. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The valet is prompt. The hotel restaurant and bar are good and can be pretty lively! I stay at this hotel regularly for business trips. It's very reliably a safe bet for a stay in the Beverley Hills/West Hollywood areas. The rooms facing north have excellent views.

I don't know how the rooms will be, as I didn't stay there, but I went to ask about the tourist bus as being the Beverly Center of Works was a little confusing and I was treated with a lot of kindness, the hotel is very big and Nice and the Beverly Center mall is jus to the front.
It has very close to the hospital and CVS.

It was a very nice hotel and the staff was, hey, these guests pay a lot, be nice to them while you're here, polite. For the price you can do better on many levels, comfort being the prime example. My stay was okay. Just not worth the cost for the experience.

This is by far one of my favorite hotel properties in the Los Angeles area, if not the entire country. The rooms are incredibly comfortable offering the signature Sofitel bedding and very well appointed bathrooms. Service at the hotel was second to none.

I chose Sofitel to stay for NYE. I booked last minute, but the rates were in line with other hotels in the area. The staff was great. From the valet to housekeeping, everyone was great. The room was exactly as you'd expect for a Beverly Hills Hotel. My only complaint is that the iron in the room was a bit old. Otherwise, my stay was great.

Joyce the Manager & Debra the front desk person was extremely accommodating and pleasant to my wife and I upon arrival and the the duration of our stay. The complimentary champagne (Friday & Saturday evenings) is top class. The suite was very cozy and comfortable. The staff is amazing! Definitely our favorite hotel when in Miami Philidelphia, Washington DC, New York and now Los Angeles. We look forward to staying at Sofitel when we travel to Paris next spring.

My wife and I loved the ambiance and feel of the hotel. We had the most relaxing sleep. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were all helpful and kind. The live jazz music on Monday night was amazing. Plus, the location was perfect. We loved our stay.

My stay was almost perfect. The bed was absolutely amazing. The room service so fast and the staff so helpful and pleasant. I arrived early and requested early check in and was pleasantly surprised by how accommodating Jack W was at check in. The only drawback was the busy street down below and the cars racing down it in the middle of the night. The windows did not block enough of the noise from the engines as they sped down the street. I would stay here again but I would need white noise to block out the sounds from the street.

Convenient location. Friendly staff, attentive service and nice facilities. We were upgraded to a larger room, which was very nice. However, the bed was WAY too soft. Not good for us middle aged folks! Despite high quality bed linens and a very comfortable duvet, it appears that the mattresses have been used for a long time and need to be replaced. Our experience with the bed will influence our decision to stay there for future visits to LA.

The friendly welcome at the hotel is always the first business card and here you felt really treated with appreciation and looked forward to the next few days. The suitcases were brought to the room, everything clean and nice, in short there were no criticisms, so we would actually give the hotel 5 stars.
The devaluation is only due to the unfriendly treatment at the hotel bar. As a member of the hotel program we had received a beverage voucher, which we wanted to redeem there and sat down at the bar. The gentleman saw us, but would rather keep talking to his colleague than to bring us the card. Ok, maybe he really overlooked us (can happen sometime) and looked through us, but when he came to us, there was not a friendly greeting, but he just looked at us, what I meant, if he could bring us the card.
Not a word again. He just turned around, took the card, put it on us, we thanked him and he went away again. No "no", no facial. Nothing. After he had brought us the drinks, he went back to his colleague and chatted further. There he could smile again. In short, appreciation to the hotel guest looks different and thus it was clear to us that after the cocktail we changed the location, which we did then.
Nevertheless, we can recommend the hotel to everyone who visits Los Angeles.

I really enjoyed the service and experience. We only stayed 1 evening and day before my mom had surgery across the street. I wanted to make sure my mom was down there in Beverly Hills relaxed before her big surgery at Cedars Hospital. Mission accomplished. If any of our family members every have to go back down there, that is where we will stay. I would like to join your Club membership. Everyone from Valet, to front desk, bell hop, room service, waiters and waitress were on their A game. I will be back.

Love the staff here, David was awesome and was very helpful today. Club was good. The dj they had tonight didn't play the music so loud that I couldn't have a conversation. Seating was good and comfortable. The 31 Riviera wasn't too crowded. Very classy place. I like this hotel because its close to everything and it was definitely a good no hassle place.

The staff were professional, super friendly, and accommodating. The front desk, room service, restaurant, valet — all were terrific. The room was very nice. The bedding was excellent. The bathroom and shower were very good. Overall a great experience.

The pool is outdoor and exposed to the noises of heavy traffic at this location.
But especially a bus carrying actors or singers parked 2 days in the hotel parking (below the pool) and allowed to run its engine during the 2 days. Which generated noise and exhaust gas becoming unbearable.
This making all the guests left the pool that was becoming unlivable.
For the price charged (over 2400 dollars for 4 nights) this is unacceptable.
The usual staff is competent but there are too many interns. So that there is no constancy in the service (for example at a meal: forgetting a bottle of wine ordered, no bread served, error in the order taking and a dish served different)

Not at the level of our aspirations.
A service unworthy of Sofitel.

I had a wonderful experience at the Sofitel Beverly Hills. The location is top notch — so central and you can actually walk to places from here. Staff was friendly and helpful especially Sergio in Esterel who I saw every morning for breakfast. He made my family feel special and was very attentive to his tables. The beds were comfy and the view of the Hollywood hills was amazing. I will definitely be back!

Loved all the first class touches. Definitely first rate hotel. Excellent service at check in with Marco, very impressed with the hand towels and champagne. The fragrance in the lobby was a bit strong, although it may have just been all the fresh flowers) Jack at the front desk was so helpful on the day of check out, graciously extended my checkout to make it easier for me on the final day of my trip GREATLY APPRECIATED. A couple of negatives: — Hallway (4th floor) ALWAYS had a foul musty smell. — Lobby very chic, but definitely an 80's modern chic vibe. Cool in a retro way, but dated. — loved all the fresh flowers. Also my room had poor water pressure, and it was annoying to have to choose between the raindrop shower of the handheld shower head (that was way too short). — I never had a binder/room service menu in my room, therefore I never ordered. I would have expected room service to notice the absence of this during my three night stay. I also did not have any waters available in my room on check in (my traveling companions in another room did). It was weird that I had to move the coffee machine and plug it in to use it, it also would have been nice to have usable space in the refrigerator and a microwave.

Nice location. Great service. Friendly staff. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. We toured the ships just across the street. There's a Starbucks just behind the hotel. The cable car station is just across the street. Ghirardelli Square is a quick walk away. Our hotel room was comfy.

Very classy hotel with nice amenities. Some of the workers are great but others are extremely condescending. Probably might not come back again, the price for the service is not worth it.

If you like low key but also want top of the line ammenities and amazing service this is the place. If you are more interested in an amazing view of the city, this isn't for you. FYI the outdoor swimming pool is heated so don't shy away from it. This property also has good security that actually does their job. We were wondering around the hotel and within 10 minutes we were stopped and asked for our keycards, granted it was 4am and they were very courteous about it and asked if there was anything we wanted to know about the hotel and he knew everything we quizzed him on lol. Valet is a little bit pricey but its LA so you can't really get away from it.

My stay at the Sofitel in the Beverly Hills area was fantastic. Greeted at the car and taken care of all the way to the room. The free glass of champagne at the check-in desk was a nice touch. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Will definitely stay again.

Visited their bar, Riviera 31, for a fabulous event called "Room Service". Drinks are a little pricey, but the bar's ambiance is great and the performances were fantastic. They also have a very cool little outdoor seating area that seems like it'd be a great place for brunch on a nice day.

No longer the quant French Proventil hotel it use to be. I decided to have a quick weekend getaway and surprise my wife. On arrival valet was blocked and the place was packed. After telling them we were staying here they let us in. The lobby packed with low class people and very loud music. We get to the room and decided to make our way to the restaurant, of which of corse we couldn't even get to, so we ubered to another restaurant. When we came back we had to fight our way through the sea of people, when we got to our floor there were more people hanging out and one looked at me and said "What's up? " In a threatening way. We got back to the room and locked the door. I felt like I was staying in Compton. At least there are now hookers available in driveway for the single business travelers. Definitely didn't feel safe, and stayed locked in our room the rest of the night. We were very unhappy with our stay here.

If you are a guest they treat you ok. If you are not staying there, you cannot sit on the 2nd level. The Hotel is not good for large parties, unless you consider standing room, and over crowded room ideal.

The second Sofitel hotel I stayed in. The rooms very nice as expected by a Sofitel and the outside pool was a great way to refresh. We had dinner in the restaurant downstairs and experienced great service and high quality food.

This hotel is a mix of good and bad. The restaurant and some of the renovated rooms are spectacular, but the pool area, valet, and other common areas are lacking. I LOVE the Sofitel chain, and have had great experiences every time. Given this location is in Beverly Hills, I expected more. On the positive note, great customer service and it is within walking distance to the Beverly Center/Beverly Connection.

If any of you are looking for really good hotel deals I would check out HotelRaven. Com I saved a ton of money using that site. My husband and I stayed here two nights Memorial Day Weekend in 2015. Overall we were very satisfied with the hotel, and depending on the rate I would stay here again. I was most impressed by the quality of the gym equipment, which spoiled me for coming trips the next two months. I was pleasantly surprised with the straight bar, EZ bar, and Smith machine available. Signage to the gym for guests (as well as signage to the pool area) could have been better, as could accessibility of outlets in the room.

Disliked most was the fact that we were placed in a lower floor facing a daycare and the hotel’s exhaust fans. The noise was quite audible with the exhaust fans and when the children were in their play area. It was difficult to have some quiet time to finish work or even nap. The shutters when opened, also gave an impression of being behind bars. Did not open the windows as there was really not much view to see, plus the people outside were so close that there’s that possibility that they could see in. Suggestion: I understand that you will need to fill these less than desirable rooms. You might want to offer perks to make up for what is lacking. Besides, the customer is getting less for the same price as the "better" rooms. You should provide lower prices for these rooms, provide extra perks like complementary beverages, snacks, vouchers, etc. To make up for the hassle. OR: Do not offer these rooms at all.

Only valet parking, every day to take a car to tip, Routong. Small refrigerator drinks will be automatically deducted, the refrigerator has sensors, check-out time and the front desk to explain. You can call to Teakettle. It looks like more than four stars have a hot kettle. The bed is softer than the soft, sleeping for two nights a little waist acid.

After meeting other hotels of the same company I expected much more. He ended up letting me down a bit.
The service I have no complaints, I think that they do a perfect job and that long ago in favor of the hotel.
The worst thing is the room, at least where we were was very small. It had too many useless nooks that wasn't for nothing and is desaprovechaban.
The best views are not talking about… If you have privileged to a mall Macy's views.
I don't think to go to this hotel again.

Super hotel! Very friendly staff! Class rooms. The breakfast buffet is manageable but very good! The waiters are constantly striving.

I attended the same event as Barbara Jackson did, and they double-charged me for my room too even though it had been prepaid in advance as part of the hotel's systematic sabotage campaign against the event and its attendees; I at least was fortunate to have an actual mattress on my bed. Even when we ignore that completely unethical action, the place isn't near anything other than the Beverly Center, Cedars-Sinai, and the exact intersection from which the Thirty-Mile Zone is measured, so you're going to be out at least $25 cab fare one-way if you don't have a car when staying there. Also, the only other dining options in the immediate area are fast-food places if you don't want to eat in the restaurant; it turns out I was smart enough to choose that option because some attendees at the event wound up getting sick from the food served by the hotel. Only stay here if you absolutely have to, such as if you have a family member being treated at Cedars-Sinai and there are no other vacancies at any other hotels or even motels in the entire county.

You walk into this place and its its like being at Hollister. Theres a scent being pumped in the entire time so you had better like iut and not have any allergies. For valet we were told it wouldn't be 13 dollars if we got it validated. They neglected to mention it would cost 8 dollars with validation. Service at the restaurant wa eh and no one seems happy to be working there. Would not return.

Great 5star hotel to certainly recommend for friends. I stayed at the Sofitel in Chicago but the one in Beverly Hills is whew really really nice and great location across the street from the Beverly Center. The pool area is nice, relaxing and small but cute. The best part is the The Stone Rose Lounge to grab a couple drinks and head outdoors to the cabanas area with fire pits it was a nice place to hang out at with out of town guest. All in all a wonderful place to stay.
