We had our wedding here on 7-27-21 & it could not have been more perfect! The venue, food, service, and rooms were fabulous! Can’t wait to visit here again. Beautiful property! A big Thank you to Lisa Duncan, as you took the stress of planning an out of state wedding completely away. From menus to food to room blocks you made the entire process easy for us and our guests.

It could improve in cleaning and upgrading some of the furniture on the room as well in some bedding. I could go on and on about the room we got! for the price I've been in pretty nice hotels and this one I pay more I got less. 2 ☆ on the view but it's all about feeling comfortable in your room for the time being. Not happy!

This place has potential but the photos on the website are deceptive. The hotel and grounds are in horrible condition and in desperate need of renovation. The lobby is tiny not equipped for busy check-ins. We felt very uneasy being in a packed line with no social distancing. Our room was filthy and the linens were stained. We found a used Fleet Enema in our trash can which is disgusting. Also, the guests this hotel attracts are super trashy. We could smell marijuana everywhere, trash was left in the hallways and never removed during our stay and it was hard to sleep due to hotel room parties at night. The people staying here were loud, vulgar and inconsiderate. This is a party hotel and is not family friendly. Well… I guess it’s family friendly to alcoholic parents who want to day drink and allow their bad behaved children to roam the grounds unsupervised. The hotel sells day passes to their tiny pool which is already overcrowded and outsiders clearly loiter on the grounds using facilities intended for guests. The parking fee is outrageous considering the hotel is out in the middle of nowhere. I feel for the staff working here and this is not a reflection on them. But Hilton should close this hotel and do a full renovation. Housekeeping needs serious improvement and the facilities should be limited to paying guests. The day pass thing is very off putting given the small pool and limited common spaces.

From the amazing nature overlooking at long beach Marina facing the iconic Queen Mary with the Sunny ☀️ sun above us, wonderful and excellent service provided from the Hotel Maya staff from day 1 to check out time and the “Savoro “ meals daily … defintely, will be coming back for more… so BLESSED! To found this gem amidst the pandemic. God is always good!

For the most part great experience here on a beautiful afternoon day for a Sunday brunch. Love the setting here which boasts beautiful a Long Beach skyline and harbor views. The food and service were all great here. Our only issue is with the salad buffet. Being that Fuego is a semi-outdoor restaurant we saw way too many flies helping themselves to the deliciously looking cheeses, meats, and pastas. Unfortunately for us we had to stay clear and skip to the taco man.

Great views of the lion lighthouse across the bay and the Queen Mary ship docked in the bay. It's clean and the beds were comfy Fuego restaurant was great whether we went for breakfast, lunch or an appetizers in the evening. Cordial staff and delicious food! When traveling in July 2018 the hwy is under construction so GPS wasn't getting us there. There was a ramp marked with a sign for the hotel and once I realized that it was smooth sailing. Queen Mary parking attendants let you cut through too.

What a great surprise! Awesome hotel! The grounds were perfect, the staff was sooo awesome and the food/drinks were great! We stayed Friday night and parked for our cruise that was 7 days. Shuttle was awesome, quick and comfortable! Our room in building four, 1st floor. We had our own private back yard! So cool! At night we sat out by a bongo and drank wine. Loved this place!

I’ve got to say this is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. This hotel has some of the most friendly staff I have ever encountered and all of the amenities they offer rock. Almost every room you go to has a great view and offers JetSki rentals and ocean activity rentals right at the hotel. Super close to the Queen Mary. Has a good pool and a restaurant at the hotel that you could basically get anything yet. I highly recommend this place.

We stayed here during their busy Saturday to Thursday and the stay was awesome. Aside from the amazing rooms and pool, the staff was the biggest factor that contributed to this. We had asked for adjoining rooms since check-in. Although Saturday was packed, Michael did his best to accommodate us. Being a seasoned traveller for business, I completely understand if our requests were not met. We were given two rooms close within the same building and informed us that many will check out the next day. The following day, Michael gave us two adjoining rooms with awesome views and close proximity to the pool. In the evening, Henry was very courteous and recognized everything thing we asked. The whole staff was amazing nonetheless. It really felt like they cared and bent over backwards to make sure we were happy and comfortable. This was our first experience at the Maya and we will be back. Thanks Michael and Henry for going above and beyond! Lee Hong.

Large rooms and attentive staff a short walk from the Queen Mary. I slightly longer walk to the aquarium or achoice of restaurants. I a had a business seminar at the hotel so I ate all my meals there. The food was quite good. Even the buffet style meals were quite good with nothing overcooked. While you are there enjoy the walk along the channel. There were people fishing there, but I didn't see them catch anything.

Harbor views of the Queen Mary are beautiful at night from some rooms. A short walk to the legendary ship and tours therein are memorable. Hotel Maya has digressed greatly since my first visit in 2007 (was under a different name and totally different environment). My recent visit was not one I will repeat. Spend a little more and enjoy your visit to Long Beach much, much more at a name hotel. Don't go over the bridge.

Have staid at this hotel 4x now. We don't stay anywhere else because of the location, cleanliness, staff, food, rooms, everything about this hotel is set for a great time. Bring your family and take the fairy across the short trip across the bay and see a movie or shop. Sit by the bond fire and roast marshmallows and have a cocktail! So fun and make your stay top notch.

I was there for a wedding. Beautiful view, real delicious pork chops for dinner, and there were heaters at the balcony of the venue to keep it warm from the cold breeze. The whole place was nicely set up and the service was a plus. The hotel team are all nice people too.

I attended a social event this weekend at the Maya Hotel Lagunita pavilion. The location is great but there is not enough parking for guests. We had to drive around and wait for parking for 20 minutes. Food was catered from outside vendor so we can't comment on hotel's food. Love the outside area by the water. The hall can seat 200 easily with room left over for dance floor or stage.

Beautiful scenery and kind staff. Very relaxing to put your toes in the sand and watch the boats. Beds are incredibly comfortable and my room had a view overlooking the boats that were docked. Would stay again!

The staff was very nice and accommodating upon check in and explaining parking policies. After check in (and when our friend's wedding was rescheduled for a later time), the bar staff was extremely friendly and offered to pour us some coffee and tea while the rest of the staff set up. The rooms were nice and clean and we also had a decent view of the water. I'd definitely stay here again.

We attended a wedding at hotels Maya and found the property to be quite beautiful. Decor is very modern and inviting, the view of the harbor was refreshing and the staff was extremely help and kind. I wished we would have booked a room. We will definitely be visiting again for a short getaway soon!

Over the moon about the gem of a hotel. Unique decor, beautiful views and setting. Delicious restaurant. Meeting and event space for weddings and conferences. Agile and kind staff. Rooms are huge and well appointed. One of my favorites anywhere.

I just found this Hotel Maya by Hilton in Long Beach… It is really special. The setting is directly across from water channel from Downtown Long Beach so the views are very good. The grounds are park-like and there is a park adjacent. A boardwalk goes through the property following the waterfront and the Marina. This is one of those places that I like everything about it (I did a nice writeup on the Maya on my Instagram).

Hotel has a nice water view and rooms are clean & have blackout shades! Ambiance in the main building is beautiful with great art pieces and furniture throughout. We had to give ourselves a tour, otherwise we would have missed it.

Very unique hotel with great views of Long Beach across the river. The room was clean and large. The staff was very friendly and our check in was easy. It's a very big place that also has event space for weddings and big parties. We didn't try the restaurant but it looked good as well.

Hotel Maya has beautiful grounds, lovely rooms and a terrific restaurant. I've stayed at the hotel and also attended multiple professional events. The staff is always courteous and I've never been disappointed. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

I have stayed here several times but the restaurant, view and vibe truly make for such a relaxing an excellent venue! … Really love their pool and their service! Top-notch in the Hilton brand. As a diamond member, I was upgraded to the President's suite for one night. Really fun to get the upgrade but it's just an oversized room with only one restroom. (Still dark and a small bathroom. ) Hilton beds and view are absolutely the greatest!

An outstanding place to stay. The location couldn't be better. The views from the rooms and dining area are spectacular. The staff is friendly and efficient. We were there for two days and really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room had a great view as advertised. The food at Fuego was incredible. The best short rib I have ever had. The shuttle also will transport you anywhere within 2 miles. This was very handy since finding parking can be an issue and most everything is within range.

Ideally located by the seaside, but close to the city centre (by car).

How does having breakfast and watching the sun rise right before your eyes? I stayed here for 3 nights and I was greeted by 2 spectacular sunrises on different days whilst having breakfast at the hotel restaurant. The location is safe as I managed to go for a night run without fearing anything. A short walk to the beautiful Queen Mary. You'll definitely need a car when staying here but it is definitely worth the money. The rooms are also sufficiently sized with more than adequate amenities.

The hotel was very nice! Front desk employees were very responsive and polite. However, the sink and shower faucets felt a bit cheap and flimsy. Other than that, I had a good stay.

Didn't know what to expect, but we LOVE it! Great restaurant on property and lovely place along the beach to walk and to walk your pups. Pet friendly! Shuttle service provided. Friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable.

The Hotel Maya is a very nice place with Quick Service, helpfulland friendly staff. Exteriors beautiful, it has a nice fire pit, excellent areas the sit and chat with family and friends, and a beautiful waterfall. Interior has very nice places to sit and chat with family and friends as well, and unique art on the walls. All together beautiful atmosphere. I couldn't get enough of it.

Nice location, but rooms are EXTREMELY NOISY. Can hear people walking above, door closing, walking down hallway, a/c in room is window unit and is very loud. Rooms have been remodeled nicely, but popcorn ceilings should have been removed and bathrooms enlarged. The feel of this hotel is more like a motel due to the fact that rooms are off an outside hallway. When we checked in it was about 9pm on Friday and the smell of smoke from the bar/dance club near the front desk was horrible. All in all, I would not recommend this property. The area around the property is wonderful! We walked to Shoreline Village, which was a great excursion! BTW, the cookies recieved at check-in were GREAT!

This is a really nice hotel, but need to have parking spots for gold members. They also charge $26 day parking for guests, which is BS. The rooms are already over $200 per night. It is however, a great hotel.

This is a very swanky hotel. The rooms are nice and I had a good view of the water overlooking inner courtyard of Building 1. The downside with this hotel is there is nothing to do other then the Queen Mary. Most acitivites require you to cross the bridge.

This hotel is a mixed bag. The restaurant and bar right on the water was excellent. The decor is fun. The front desk clerk that helped us was great. The rooms are just ok. The exterior of the buildings look nice from a distance until you get close and you can tell they "paint over the dirt" alot. The elevators are also very narrow and small.

This place was pretty sweet. Great views, staff and location. My room was well appointed, clean and fairly quiet. Parking was a little steep at $26/night, but I would recommend this place.

My biggest regret: choosing hotel maya. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE! BAD SECURITY: I GOT WALKED-IN ON WHILE CHANGING UNDERWEAR ON MY WEDDING DAY! The hotel says they can’t verify who it was and that their cameras apparently do not shed much light. It happened twice, so I find the hotel management to be totally inept. If they had proper security protocols, they would know which employee had the keys and why they didn’t know better than to unlock and enter a dressing room on the day of a wedding event. beware of the fog horns! they will ruin your wedding speech. If it's not bad enough that hotel staff walks in on you while changing, get ready for your wedding vows (or in my case a wedding song) to be ruined by LOUD FOG HORNS and MOTOR BOATS! Boats nearby will make loud unpleasant noises at any time. You have no control. SERVED INCORRECT BILL 30 MINUTES BEFORE OUR WEDDING RECEPTION WAS OVER + STUPID DISPUTE OVER MONEY = FINAL SPEECH GONE AND MOMENTS LOST If it’s not bad enough that you get walked-in on, AND fog horns and boat soil drown our your wedding ceremony, guess what…there’s more! They took away the last 30 minutes of our wedding reception by serving us a bad bill and refusing to leave us alone to try to enjoy the final moments of the wedding. If the hotel staff came at 10PM (not 930), I guess it would be fair, but still would feel cheap; like vultures waiting for us to leave and pay a bill on our precious wedding day.

We, ROADS FOUNDATION had a board meeting from 9-4. We were served breakfast, lunch and a snack. The waitress was amazing. She was friendly, pleasant and very accommodating. She highly represented your hotel. The food was perfection. We were there last year and hesitated on returning due to the food and atmosphere. Today was a pleasure being there; with the view of the ocean and less traffic from passerbys because we were on the second floor. The bathrooms could have been cleaner seeing we were there all day and other rooms being used with more people. The trash baskets were full and toilet paper was not restocked. Overall, I was impressed and looking forward to meeting there again next year. Thank you for your service and staff who catered our meeting.

Excellent hotel with plenty to do. Would you recommend it. You will not regret it.

The large open door to the lobby is the first thing you notice when pulling up to check in. Walking through the door takes you to a very laid back and inviting atmosphere! Staff are friendly and professional. Rooms are nice — mine had a patio with a view of the bay. Rooms are quiet — I've seen plenty of families with kids but haven't heard a single one while nestled away in my room. I haven't had dinner at Fuego yet, but may try it this evening! No other dining close by but getting around is not difficult.

Beautiful venue, however horrible behind the scenes. Rooms look good at first, but beds are bad, shower is cold and low pressure, poor service. The worst is that we had to wait in the lobby for 2 hours because check in is at 4pm. Check out is 11am. We were barely able to enjoy the hotel due to the minimal time allowed to access the rooms. We tried to get our car early in the morning and valet was not present. We walked all around the parking lot to find the car and hotel staff did absolutely nothing. Paint was peeling from the walls. This hotel is not worth it.

This hotel is located on the water with relaxing views. A water taxi stop is just behind it too, rides for a dollar. The restaurant had great food and drink with wonderful service. Alfredo made us feel welcome and at home. I recommend staying here if you enjoy good service, decor and atmosphere. You can plan group events too!

Had an AMAZING time at the Hotel Maya! We only spent one night there but wished I could've stayed there forever. Everyone was so nice and treated us like royalty. The servers were sweet and went above and beyond what they had to do! I will stay here again!

We were booked for a deluxe suite, but when we checked in, all of the deluxe suites were full, so they stuck us in a first-floor room with absolutely no view. The corridors are noisy and they really echo as people walk by early in the morning and talk to each other. The doors to the rooms don't seem to block out any of the sound which is terrible when you don't have to wake up as early as your neighbors. The free shuttle is convenient, but if you decide to ride on it, plan for at least half an hour before you will get where you need to go. We were very impressed by how clean the place was. Kudos to the maids!

The hotel is pretty nice. It's right on the docks, so you can swim in their pool and look over at the boats and the Long Beach skyline. The rooms are very contemporary and clean. I felt all the employees I came in contact with were extremely kind. My main complaint is that I paid about $250 a night to stay here, and never once was it mentioned before leaving that I would have to pay an additional $25 per night to park my car in the parking lot of the hotel I'm paying $250 a night to stay in. So let it be known, that it doesn't matter if you have a room and how much you pay for it, your car is not welcome unless you're willing to pay heavily to park it there. Then on top of that, they throw many events at this hotel, so even though you're paying $25 on top of the room rate, chances are, as it gets closer to the weekend, you won't be able to even find parking because there's 150 visitors using the parking lot. I know, complaining about parking seems pedantic, but it's a big let down when the hospitality industry is all about customer service, only to find out they're price gouging you on parking and nobody even mentioned it. It just seems sneaky and I really don't appreciate it. Everything else was perfect though.

Rooms are nice but bathroom door is werid. Bed was Comfortable. There's no free Wi-Fi so that blows.

Beautiful hotel. Took a while to get in the the room but overall good. One small yet obvious improvement is beer price. It is 7 dollars per beer or 32 for a pitcher (which is 4 beers) you do the math. Love the place though. Great location good service. Shuttle to the cruise for freeeeee.

Check in was super fast and friendly. I got in late so I didn't check out the amenities yet but I noticed a large fitness room with plenty of equipment, a torch lit scenic walk way. Cool views of colorful lights reflecting off the water. There are two reasons I didn't give 5 stars. Although the bedroom was clean, there was hair in a few places in the bathroom. Gross. And 2, the wall to my next door neighbor was so thin, I could hear a bunch of dudes watching porn. I hope they have checked out already. I have 3 more nights here.

We went to Fuego for some drinks on Valentines day night after having dinner at The Reef next door and the bartenders were really nice. They chatted with us a bit and made us some well crafted cocktails. I would go back again!

Abusive hotel. Have reservation and wait in the hall for hours sleeping. Check out says 12pm, but they book people at 11am. I wish it wasn't too late to cancel at this place. Trash outside. Looks better in photo.

Enjoyed a wonderful stay at Hotel Maya! Upon my arrival my room had been upgraded which was a delight! The view was absolutely breath taking! I was able to eat breakfast and do yoga on the balcony with plenty of room! Happy hour was great as well, I recommend the $5 Cab. The entire location was serene and I am looking forward to my next stay! One of the best parts of my stay was the amazing Jackie and those to die for chocolate chip walnut cookies! Thank you Jackie for all your amazing service! Other then the gentleman above me rolling his suitcase like a bowling ball at 6:50am and my selection of wine not available in in room dining I have no complaints! I would definitely recommend Hotel Maya to friends that visit. Tip: pre order breakfast the night before (before 11pm) so it can be delivered when you wake up! Best perk ever! Stayed here for a little over 2 weeks for work. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and quiet depending on which room/floor/building you are in. The breakfast buffet is a good selection and the view is very nice. Saw dolphins in the water one day from the breakfast patio.

Stayed at the Maya for 5 nights and absolutely loved it. Great, recently refurbished rooms, quiet location, great views of downtown Long Beach and breakfast at Fuego is great with a daily changing buffet.

First some positives. It's right on the bay so the views are spectacular. You can look across the water and enjoy the skyline or look over toward the Queen Mary. The rooms are simple but clean and attractive with many rooms having spectacular views. The rooms had hard floors rather than carpeting which I liked though some might not. I was there with a group and while my room had a terrible view (I was in room 1111) other people on higher floors had great views. Just ask if a room with a view of the harbor is available. The decor of the hotel is quirky and charming. It's not luxurious but is fun, with cool fire pits and a bar and restaurant overlooking the harbor and a hookah lounge if you are into that. Now for some negatives. The worst thing was the walls being very thing with no soundproofing. My room was by the elevator and I could hear everyone walking past my room and talking outside as if they were inside the room with me. Another from my group said she could hear the person next door to her peeing, not just the sound of the toilet but them actually peeing. I didn't care for the bed either. The matresses were a little firm, of course that's personal preference. The pillows were worse. There were two sets of pillows with one set being very dense and firm and the other set being so thin they did nothing. Another downside is that there isn't really anything around the hotel itself to see or do, not even a convenience store.

Once they got their money they forgot the rest. They forgot that they had to go to rooms and clean them, change the towels if necessary and more. So in three days no one has visited in our room. Poor costumer service. Wouldn't recommend…

We had our firm party at the outdoor patio area of the maya hotel on Saturday night. The staff was courteous and the complimentary valet was great. We were outdoors in the tent. There were out door bathrooms that were clean and large. Overall I had a great time and would consider this venue for future events.

Great location right on the water, a little hard to find in that area but once you arrive you are at home. It is a Hilton so you can expect that level of hospitality. Great theme, live the mini beach boardwalk. Rooms are spacious and have nice balconies to look out on the water.

Beautiful views, great balconies in the rooms. The pool and pool bar were my favorite. We were there for a gorgeous wedding rehearsal dinner. The shuttle service is very spotty. They are unreliable for a pick up. They were a no show to pick up the bride for her rehearsal dinner. We had to get a guest from the Hilton Long Beach to have their shuttle pick the bride up. They were also not very accommodating to get the bride into her room earlier than check in time.

Nice hotel, beautiful grounds, great views. Especially nice if you're looking for a respite from the hustle and bustle, as we were. Only downsides: really noisy neighbors on our second night, and confusion about happy hour prices. The "Happy Hour" menu states prices for between 3-5, with a special deal on friday of $2 tacos. We ordered a few things and were then told that the ONLY PRICE that worked for Fridays was the taco price, all the other happy hour menu items did not apply. Why do they offer a happy hour menu on Fridays if the only item that is offered is 2 dollar tacos? They gave us a happy hour menu when nothing was priced at happy hour pricing except 2 dollar tacos. Food was good, service very good. Menu needs to NOT be given out on Fridays if there are no 5 or 10 dollar items available. Bait and switch. Boo!

What a charming, warm and hugely comfortable place! Love it. The staff was great and my only suggestion is to install a television in the gym.

This is a great, funky hotel in the heart of downtown. Who would stay at a boring Hilton or Marriott? This place is cool. The Berkshire Room is great at too.

Beautiful, insanely gorgeous hotel with excellent service and accommodating staff.

Great location and hotel but front desk staff was really surly and unhelpful when we checked in on 4/18/15 last month. Excellent restaurant, beautiful setting, really a great little "resort" getaway. Just a shame the front desk staff acted like they didn't want to be bothered with very simple requests, like "about what time will our room be ready". All they would say is "it's not ready". Then asked about shuttle service or taxi boat out back — — again no helpful info, you're kind of just on your own. C'mom folks, try harder! I'd give you 4 stars if you would act like professionals, it's not hard to simply give out free info — — you just have to want to.

Hotel Maya is wonderful. Water views are great. Lots of sea life. Thank you for a relaxing getaway. The room was very clean stayed loated with towels and coffee. The room has a fridge. And the service is great. Thank you Maya.
