Kinda Ghetto. Carson Sherrifs regularly cruise through the parking lot checking license plates; some chick that works there has a relative who breaks into cars; homeless encampment next door. Only good thing about this place is that it is pet-friendly. Carson Motel 6 is much better insofar as the people go. Just saying.

Floor was either spot mopped or wasn't mopped at all… Food inside couch pullout. No bedding left for pullout. Icing on the cake was the bug we found in the pull out… It wouldn't help to clean up your parking lot as well… When we arrived there was crusty old dry dog excrement and a dirty needle… Neither of which moved the either time we stayed at your motel… If I could give you a negative score I would due to the lack of CLEANLINESS…

Don't get me wrong. This place is quiet and peaceful. Quite clean. The only thing missing are refrigerators and better ventilation for the restrooms. Service is great. And the house keepers are amazing…

This is a good motel 6. All of the staff and maids are friendly and respectful. The rooms are fairly clean. Only reason I give it 4 stars is because im only given 2-3 towels a day. They seem to never have enough. And a mini fridge would be good. Overall still a nice motel 6

Everyone from the manager to the front desk to the maids to the maintenance man are all so very nice. They are so helpful and nice. The rooms are nice and clean. I can only say good things about this motel 6 and the staff. Thank you for always making my stays with you enjoyable.

Clean and nice room. Great staff. Walking distance to gas station, bank, food, grocery, and almost anything you needed while traveling. Close to free entrance and exit. Definitely to comeback. Thank you to wonderful staff.

Everything I expected. Always a nice quality and the front desk lady was very very nice and accommodating. Front desk from my experience in different are usually pretty rude. It was a very pleasant surprise! This place will probably be my go to.

I have stayed at this motel 6 before, and from what I understand they are under new management. I was very disappointed by the fact that I was bitten up be bedbugs on the first and second nights of my stay. When I informed the front office, they first acted as though I was lying. When I showed the manager the bites, they then gave me a new room. I was given an extra night for free, but feel I should have been reimbursed for both nights as I am still covered in bites. I am now starting at another motel that costs less and is much nicer. I'm sorry to say that I was very unimpressed with their new management.

The lady who was working the desk friday the day of my reservation called me to confirm I was still coming and if she should hold the room. She was amazing, sweet, friendly, and genuine. The day I was leaving I was unhappy about having to wait until 1030/1045 To get clean towels the person at the desk young guy told me I had to wait til the housekeeper got there. Well she didn't get to the floor until 1030/1045 and it was hard to find her even then. When I asked her for towels she gave me two of the ones that you stand on getting out of the shower saying that's all she had. She didn't apologize or see if another housekeeper had any. Also Saturday night the banging the manager was doing and Sunday morning the banging the maintenance man was doing to fix a door that was kicked in that was very annoying.

Very disappointed in the customer service provided by the staff. Got a room for two and stayed 3 days. At some point early on, called front desk to report toilet wouldn't completely flush, was informed that when maintenance became available they would take care of it. A few hrs later called again to remind front desk of the importance of the situation and again was told that maintenance would take. Care of it as soon as they were available. At this point I requested a plunger myself and was told that no one on site had access to the maintenance area and that maintenance should be arriving shortly. I explained that this was not a pleasant situation and that I could go right across the street and get a 99cent store plunger and take care of it myself. The front desk said that as soon as maintenance got there our room would be first in line or We could change rooms if we wanted instead of waiting. We considered changing rooms but decided that we did not want to pack back up and then have to uppack again especially at the late hour it was. Long story, by the time maintenance showed up it was over 24 hrs after first report and taking 4 or more caps to front desk. Front desk excuse was that maintenance worker had not showed up for work. Doesn't make a lot of sense as this situation had taken over 24 hrs, more than 2 full shifts.

You get what u pay for. Cheap price but the rooms are clean. I've been there several times and never had a bad experience. The staff are polite aswell.

Accepts all people! Pets and kids, too! Front desk and housekeeping staff here are very friendly and accommodating. Just off 110. Some rooms are roughed up; laminate floors are still much cleaner than gross carpeted competitors at the same rates! Private, parking, grocery/gas on the block. I have seen them spray for bugs when some people checked out; probably necessary, and reason for the strong smell in some rooms. However, I have seen not one bug of any kind. I do clean my room.

It was the worst smelling Motel 6 room I had ever stayed in. No amount of disinfectant spray could hide the putrid odor of both rooms I stayed in. In fact, the excessive use of deodorizing sprays felt toxic. I had to sleep with the windows open (next to the 110 freeway) with the fan blasted in order to dissipate the stench as best as possible. It's obvious that previous occupants had been staying there weeks on end — smoking. The left over rancid stink typical of the homeless remained while mixed with the toxic fumes of Fabuloso cleaner. It was a nightmare. I payed for 3 nights but only stayed for 2. I could not bear it. I came to Torrance for business reasons. If not preoccupied with my business matters, I would have taken the time to find another motel/hotel. The front desk manager was dismissive of my concerns but could not deny the bad smell of both rooms I stayed in. Someone from corporate MUST visit this branch and smell for themselves. I'm tempted to notify a local public health agency to inspect this facility.

It was unfortunate but my reservations were lost. After researching, another person with my first name but different last name was given my room since he was paying cash. Was very displease with this action. The worker at the time did her best by offering room with 1 queen instead of room with 2 full. It was not comfortable at all! I was very displeased. Why make reservations if they can not be honored or even used properly? Sorry Motel 6 but not impressed this time! Michael Miclat.

Everything is time and enough parking.

The whole experience was very nice. The front desk person extremely nice and as helpful as she could be. The room was clean. The only thing that I can complain about was that we had asked for a smoking room and that was not given to us. But other than that everything was excellent.

There was a roach in the first room I had. It was so late and the receptionist told me refunds were only handled in the morning so I had no choice but to just switch rooms. If it was an appropriate time I definitely would have left to go to another hotel. I was very disappointed.

Great for the price point on this place, decently clean. It's not a five star resort but if your in town looking for a decent budget place to stay well this just may be your place. Right next to the 110 freeway and minutes from the 405 as well.

This Motel 6 is near the 110 freeway, a far cry from the beachfront Motel 6 in Santa Barbara. Everything was fine except the Wifi did not work. The front desk person gave me an 800 number to call and when I called I got a recording leaving a different number to call. It was like a bad joke. I was supposed to get refunded my $2.99 for the Wifi, but I'm not sure if that happened; I haven't looked. Front desk person was nice and tried hard, but the motel needs to figure out the Wifi thing. Cable TV had a lot of stations — — that was a plus. Overall, not horrible, but could improve.

Took a chance with some weird reviews, but the new management has this place under control and very clean and nice. Truly surprised how nice it was! Thanks guys for making my overnight emergency stop much not so much like hell.

We had a good stay — Even with a power outage, the staff and manager made sure we were well informed. Motel was very clean. Staff was professional and very helpful. We'll definitely come back next time through!

That location, Harbor City is very bad. Lots of drug users around when we arrived. The worst thing was the smell in the room. According to the housekeeper, she said a "bomb" was used in the room to either get rid of urine smell, or smoke smell. After 30 minutes we were getting sick and requested a different room. None were available, so I called the Motel 6 customer care number. The operator said they couldn't get us a room at a different location and that we were going to have to stay or request a refund. We took the refund, but were unable to use that money for 24 hours as there was a hold on the funds. We had to sleep in our car that night. Very terrible that your company can't help people in these type of situations. The operator was rude and hung up on me.

Checking in was pretty easy we called and the gentleman on the phone was very nice we received our key with ease but as soon as we got into the room we noticed it looked a little dirty but no problem. 5 minutes into getting comfortable I pulled the sheets back and the first thing I saw was a bed bug just crawling on the sheets. I ended up calling the desk and they offered to move me to another room. The next room was nice and clean except when we headed out to grab a bite of food a cockroach crawled out under the desk. The next thing we saw was the fact that this new room key didn't work properly and had to go get a whole new one after it just stopped opening the door after 2 uses. Finding out there was no remote for the TV wasn't too much of an issue until I went downstairs to ask the lady for a new one when I got to the room and tried it out it didn't work either. Going back down and asking her to give me a new one she said nothing and had a face as if I was an inconvenience. I chose this hotel because it was close to my work and wanted to spend a few nights with my girlfriend but what is that worth if there's bed bugs and rude customer service. I won't be staying at one of your establishments for a very long time.

They upgraded my room to a 2 queen size beds which was very comfortable. Just because the TV wasn't working in the room they gave us in the beginning. Excellent customer service from the gsr's and the manager was very nice and professional. Maintenance and housekeeping a plus. Only thing is no pool.

First of all room was wonderful and clean, but was a non smoking room that had a strong odor of smoke, after checking out all my clothes even in suitcase smelled like smoke. Otherwise enjoyed the stay…

The front desk associate was very friendly and she had a pleasant personality! The check-in was quick and stress free. The room was very clean and comfortable. Overall the stay was very pleasurable.

This was what I described to my friends as "the worst Motel 6 in the world. " I was directed to this hotel by a booking site, that had previously booked me in a double-booked hotel. The woman who greeted me was the nicest of receptionists, and so were the ladies who clean. But, the property was clearly dirty and run down. I even took photos of the mold, the spider webs, the stains sheets, the dust under the towel rack, the laminate coming off of the furniture, the broken electrical outlet cover, the dirty cement walkways, and the broken snack machine outside. On top of that, I was awakened at 11:30 PM with the clamor of slamming doors and a woman yelling for help. Afraid to go outside, I called the woman in the office, and she said she could not check it out… not allowed to leave her post. I asked her if there was a security service or manager that could check out the security of the place, and she said no. Thus, I recommended she call the police to check out the area, and please do not have them come to my door because I needed rest. The police came banging on my door sometime later and again to take a report. It was an awful night, and I was frightened and upset for the remainder of the night.

It was decent looking. Staff was nice. However it had a strong odor like paint or something. Went away after a while. Once I laid in bed a found a dead cockroach on it. But I just took it off the bed and didn't make a fuss out of it. Only good thing at thall hotel is the location because it's right next to the freeway.

The room was very clean and looked freshly painted. But it was extremely tiny. It was supposed to be a none smoking room but it smelled very strongly like cigarettes and Febreeze.

Room was tiny! But immaculately clean and freshly painted and well maintained. But smelled too heavily of Febreze and previous cigarette smoke. People next store smoking in a non-smoking room.

It was over priced for the quality they offered. The hotel was dirty. Floors were dirty the towels smelled like they haven't been washed. The sheets did too. They offered no soap to shower with good thing I took my own. Also they charged extra 2.99 for Wi-Fi a day and only one device can use it. And the Wi-Fi was slow and kept disconnecting. I do not recommend any one stay in that hotel.

Very small parking lot and tiny car spaces. If you have a large vehicle, good luck! Room smelled oweful. The only good thing, the counter desk girl was very friendly.

I was thoroughly pleased with the great service I received from the front desk lady helping me out. When I wasn't able to get a room for the night at the Super 8, Motel 6 was very accommodating, especially since it was late at night and was in search for a vacant motel to stay the night. I was able to get a non-smoking room, after I called the front desk several times with questions, and she was able to answer all my questions. I was satisfied with the overall experience.

We are staying at the Motel 6 in Harbor City right next to the 110 freeway. The staff are friendly and helpful but the rooms and outside the rooms are not kept clean. Being so close the freeway is also a good and bad thing. Good because of the convenience and bad because of the extremely high number of transients basically right outside your motel room door. Honestly if they wouldn't be pet friendly and so close to the freeway we would never stay at this terribly over priced motel. And lastly the rooms are kind of small! Lol.

Good, clean motel. Recently renovated. Comfortable. Biggest downside is you have to pay for Wi-Fi.

Recently updated rooms at a good price. Beds are ok. Wi-Fi at the hotel is not free. It's 2.50$/day. Other than that, easy access to freeways.

So dosent say no microwave, fridge, and the ice maker was broke then you just get a sheet no real blanket just a thin sheet. I tried to get some thing printed out and was told I couldn't would have to come back in the morning at 8am it was only 5pm when I asked. All the staff was friendly just what they have to work with most be frustrating.

I had one of the worst experiences at this location. I didn't have any face towels in the room and the front desk was all out. There were bugs in the room like a roach, flies and I think it was a pinchy bug. The ice machine didn't work and the bed was extremely small. The outlet in the bathroom didn't work so I couldn't do my hair. In the top corners of the room there were spider webs. I told the front desk agent and even should her the photos that I took but all she could say was that she apologized. I will never ever stay there again.

Theres only 2negative things about this momo. You have to pay $2.99 each night for Wi-Fi n another reason is… the sherriff's hang out In the parking lot & we got to hang out with them so we loved it haha.

This was an OK motel not far from what I needed to do in Torrance. Was a nicer area then the one we stayed at on Crenshaw and 149th. The room was clean and motel was quiet even though it was real close to the Harbor Freeway. They also allowed our 2 big dogs which a lot of hotels charge extra or don't allow anything over 25 pounds.

The staff was excellent and friendly love the new look with the hard wood floors, excellent service, staff made sure we were taken care of and all our needs were meet, would surely recommend, Harbor City, location close to everything and even walking distance. Great job Harbor City keep up the good work there at Motel 6 keep the light on cause I will be back. Aloha.

Bed bugs! do not stay here, within 15 mins of checking in I was inspecting the bedding, there was someone elses hair in the "cleaned" bed and I found 1 live bed bug. Didnt stay around to look for more also the carpet was damp and smelled like urine.! gross!. We immediatly demanded money back, which they refunded without a problem. I found a decent hotel elsewhere.
