They accepted me without ID when I was stranded without ID when I needed a place to stay. Nice and clean. Friendly service.

Nightmare of a stay. Don’t even consider the hassle if you’re looking for a relaxing, worry free stay. The staff is hard to get in contact with, the room was clean but the shower didn’t function properly, and I received a parking ticket because the owner forced me to park on a handicap spot because I was “blocking” the parking lot exit. This trashy inn is the worst placed I’ve stayed in my many years of travel. Don’t bother.

She threatened not to refund my dad because I told him this place had terrible reviews, we go in a room and the toilet is not even bolted to the seat truly a terrible place to stay don't waste the money or time.

Its all new. The sheets were clean. Right next to all the drugs I could want and I didnt have to go further then the parking lot. Plenty of free local entertainment all night. It was the happyest time ive had in a long time. Thanx again Ro n Pria. See you soon my friends.

New place so everything is clean & functioning. Really good Wi-Fi & HD channels. They have no ice machine nor coin laundry but there is some down the street. It's 2 blocks from downtown so easy to walk to a restaurant. I'd stay here again if I was in the area.

The front desk was kind and cerdious they promptly put my needs first. The room was clean well set and had a nice fragrence. All and all it was a great night at the redwood house inn.

Very nice room and bath (though shower should come with instructions re how to get the spray function working)!

Staff was helpful and friendly… had no problem checking in and found the room to be surprisingly nice. Unlike most hotels in Humboldt co.

Fairly clean and cheap. There was a problem with the Wi-Fi which took a few hours to fix. No laundry or ice machine.

Strange experience: Clean and quite. Lighting: only one ceiling light… no lamps on bedside nightstands, also no radio/alarm clock or telephone. Morning experience: no way to turn on shower which had a heat treated to bend pvc shower head stem… no soap, shampoo, or 'Kleenex'. Check the room out thoroughly and pay no more than forty-five dollars.

I don't typically leave reviews, but after such a poor experience I felt I should warn others. First off, this is not the Humboldt Redwoods Inn, this place dropped an S from the name of the one in Garberville. Long story short: there is black mold in the room, our phone was disconnected and the cord missing, the smoke detector was detached from the ceiling, the coffee maker was missing, and the lady who manages the place was rude overall. There were other issues, but after 'black mold', what else really matters? It was cheap, but so are a lot of places that are actually up to code and not a health risk. I took a few pictures to illustrate the mold and such, hopefully Google will let me upload them with this review.

Manager was very nice and helpful. Room was good. Recommended.

There were dirty towels that wasn't taken out of the room, no coffee cups nor creamer for the coffee pot and there were cigarette ashes behind the sink as it was not very clean!. I understand that the lady had young children that needed to be taken care of but I really feel that she needed to hire a maid.

A basic motel You get a bed, bath and tv. None of the amenities your use too… like an ice machine, or a hair drier, or a coffee pot or a… Oh yea, it's expensive.

No blanket on the bed… Drawer missing remote not working. Only thing new was sink & rugs thats it. They charged me for days & I only stayed one day wtf so my card was on hold.

Crappy motel, drug dealers everywhere, police arrested 6 people the night I stayed, motel staff entered room while we were out eating and stole personal items from room, my panties, needles all over parking lot, staff and management all look like junkies, possibly the worst hotel in california, should rename it the bates motel.

Much better then 2 years ago.

This has been one of the best places I have stayed at in Humboldt county.

Standard no fuss US motel. Clean and accessible.
