Where do I start! This is a bare bones, no frills, stripped down, isolated in an industrial complex disappointment. Our carpet were "freshly shampoo'd" upon arrival and have remained wet thru out our stay. It was like sleeping in a sauna! The cardboard beds squeak throughout the night wuth every turn. Returning to the front desk, beong handed a coffee pot "upon request only" I had to pay $2 for the coffee pad that goes inside. Only to find this morning, they neglected to provide the lid that allows the coffee to flow into the pot. The comment from the front desk… "Well, this is not a 5 star hotel" Honestly, if there was 1/2 star, I'd feel dishonest awarding it.

Very friendly staff, have stayed at other Extended Stays this is our favorite because of the great service.

Location is pretty decent. Area is quiet. Don’t expect to watch TV or use internet. I have been here for 3 months and it works for 45 seconds of every minute. If you ask the front desk they give you the number to the cable company. That’s their job not the guest.

I stayed here about 3 months, it was in an excellent locarion for me (Seal Beach Navel Station) never any problems, staff was very helpful, and nice, brought my own dishes, loved have a kitchen, good place to stay, great longer term rates…

Convenient to travel to the hotel! With stove, microwave and laundry room, coffee is served all day. Pay attention to the network booking problem, the system will repeat the reservation.

Room smelled like an animal shelter, very pungent like dog/cat urine. Carpeting and flooring were dirty and felt unsanitary. We will NEVER stay at this location/hotel again.

Wifi is torture, crime against humanity. Also no kettle to make tea : (

Didn't clean my room during the day and Wi-Fi doesn't even come close to streaming Netflix. I've been trying for 3 hours to get a copy of my invoice from the front desk, and I dont know if I'll ever get through. Has to be better places for the price.

Place wasn't cleaned before hand, dead spider on ground etc, breakfast was awful room was spacious, hotel staff was courteous.

By far the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at. Stayed here with a group of people and they didn’t provide any sort of cleaning service to any one of the three rooms Told one of our guests that they won’t provide plumping service when necessary. Every room smelled terribly. (Like dead fish) Didn’t give us the rooms that we had booked and they had promised. Never anyone at the front desk. Terrible in every aspect I will never stay at an extended stay America again. do not come here!

The room was fine, though the shower has a constant drip. The hallway smelled badly if cigarette smoke and they had a mister like movie their bathrooms to try and cover it up. That combo just made a sickly sweet smell that missed horribly with the stale cigarette smell. I even found a cigarette butt on the ground in the hallway despite all the rooms being non-smoking. They claim to have breakfast, but it is just coffee and granola bars. Not even any fruit or juice available.

Fabulous people… they go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. Also very helpful.

Great value for the price, not very fancy and the sheets were a little rough, but was able to sleep and was nice with the kitchen and fridge. Staff was very friendly and accommodating very pet friendly.

Great customer service. Rooms do not get cleaned everyday. Not sure if this is normal. Even though the booking agencey dropped the ball on my reservation the hotel got me squared away with a room. Just wish it was at the original rate… but that wasn't the hotels fault. Coffee in the AM in lobby was nice. Parking was a bit tight. Overall I would stay there again if I was working in the area.

Good place to stay. I have used ESA all over the country, seldom any problem. I recommend them.

Very quiet, nice place to stay. Better yet, a nice place for the in-laws to stay when they come to visit.

We had a nice clean room. There were no utensils and not enough shampoo and soap, but bed and pillows were very comfy. Location was a big plus.

It was a decent stay. Hotel was completely full. Couldn't even get an extra blanket.

The room was adequate. Kitchenette was not what I was expecting. No oven. No utensils. We had to go to the front desk for ask for utensils, plates and cooking paraphernalia. They were out of spoons. Seems they were out of a lot of things. I ended up scrounging the hallways after room service to get what we actually needed (as the items sat out for 12 hours until the following morning). "Breakfast bar" is also a generous statement. There are prepackaged muffins, oatmeal and single serve granola bars. Two kinds of coffee: dark roast and light. Two kinds of creamer. Would I stay again? Maybe. The location is convenient to Sunset Beach, Boeing and Irvine.

Room was very nice but didn't have any of the usual things stocked that I would have expected from an extended stay suite like dishes, flatware, glassware, or an ice tray since there didn't appear to be any ice machine (though we only booked for one night so maybe that was the reason). Cold breakfast was muffins, oatmeal, and granola bars with coffee. Not amazing but it did the job until lunch. I'd stay again since we got a good deal through a booking website, and the missing items were available from the front desk upon request.

Good price, clean rooms although they only do housekeeping once pet week, very light breakfast (coffee and muffins), relatively close to the beach,

Free Breakfast? Huh, Sorry, but no. Out of oatmeal. Out of fruit. Down to only chocolate chip muffins and nutbars. Out of liquid coffee creamer. Coffee and a nut bar is not breakfast unless you live in the ghetto. There is no excuse for running of oatmeal as it lasts for 6 months on the shelf. Bananas last several days and the store is open every day in the city. No excuse at all. Shame on them for advertising Free Breakfast and not delivering.

Nice place to stay. I love that there is a refrigerator and small kitchen to make some small meals instead of going out for every meal. Nice bed and a desk to work on.

Clean rooms. We had a room with two double beds. Room was spacious but beds seemed tiny for two. Free Wi-Fi with decent bandwidth for severall devices. Elevator access for upper floors was quick and conveniently located. Refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave, nice size kitchenette. We had 5 adults in the room, plenty of space so we weren't tripping over one another. Flat screen TV with showtimeand regular cable channels. Comfortable.

Great welcoming front desk staff. Room looks great, with more space than you'd initially think from first look. Plenty of parking. Could do with better TV programming availability and a little bigger rooms with bigger bed availability, but still liveable.

First room smelled terribly of fish but they happily moved me to a different room. The setup is adequate for a long term stay with a stove top, full sized fridge, and microwave. Staff has been very helpful and accommodating. Very near the Boeing facility if you are working nearby. I would stay here again.

People were VERY nice however the hotel is horrible. The shower kept dripping, there is no ice machine so if you come in and want ice immediately you have to go and buy some. The room did not have any cooking utensils as advertised and they do not come in daily and empty the trash, make the bed or clean. You have to reuse your towels and bedding. The TV is located on a low dresser so if you are watching TV you have to sit up in bed or your feet will be in the way. The breakfast was oranges & apples, granola bars and squished danish. It smells strange like there were smokers in the room and hallways. The iron was broken and would spill water on the clothing. They do not have 2 queen beds which is what I asked for. The only have 2 fulls or 1 king. Try sharing a full bed with your spouse! Not fun. It was fairly clean but the office chairs that were in the room had horrible stains. There is nothing in walking distance really. Don't let the Huntington Beach heading fool you.

While my room has been pleasant, parking is great, and the bed is comfortable, my initial experience with reception left a bad taste in my mouth. I had originally booked a room for Fri-Sun, however I got into town 12 hrs early and at 3am, I just wanted to slerp. I called Extended Stays 800 number and booked a room for the Thurs-Fri. The front desk attendant greeted me add if I was bothering her and accused me of lying about my additional reservation. She angrily typed into her computer and at one point, again after accusing me of lying about my reservation even though I showed/have her my confirmation email, asked me why it wasn't showing up in the computer. Well, ma'am, I have no control over what gets put in the computer. After getting things settled, she gave me my room key and without a thank you or an apology, she was gone. Blah.

Location is only 12-22 mins away from Huntington beach, the staff was friendly when we had arived, on the other hand it was a pet friendly hotel but there were a couple stains in the main hallway carpet that a steam cleaner could easily pick them up. THE BEDS ARE HORRIBLE unless you oddly like a super firm or almost stiff bed. The tub kept wouldn't stop dripping, and the ac unit didn't want to work at night very well. We had to set it almost 5 degrees below where we wanted it to get it cool (72°f). you hear everythinnnnngggg. Upstairs hallway walkers/runners. And for — extended — stay you would think they have a pool and hot tub and a better breakfast.

Clean room, provides breakfast for a cheap price.

Location is perfect for work. The rooms themselves are nice but the walls, floors, and ceilings are paper thin. It sounds like an elephant is running around above me. The service has been adequate so far.

Horrible, horrible experience in this FLEA AND BEDBUG INFESTED place… We arrived on 07/19/2015. This was a last minute decision to go to LA and we were not able to find any other accommodation. We chose this place for the sake of the kitchenette (we are travelling with a 17 year old boy who gets hungry rather frequently) This was a big mistake booking this hotel… Upon arrival we discovered that there are nothing within the kitchen cupboards to make it a functional kitchen. One is suppose to request the items, that you need at reception. A Painful experience… All the items I requested were ' out of stock " — I asked for a pot to boil some water for coffee. I received a very dirty look and an even dirtier pot.! I come to realise that these hotel housekeeping practices were extremely bad. They wash the towels in a washer, in a backroom behind reception. My son had several bites on his ankles, and he even caught the fleas which we shown reception. They " Upgraded ' us at ' no cost ' to us to a better room. The next morning he had several other bites / bumps. 57 in total! we were suppose to stay there for another week but we said we are going to move out. The Manager said that we should take my son to the doctor (after showing her all the bite marks) and they will cover the cost. Who would want to do all these unpleasant things when you are on holiday because as it was, I spend one whole night on the Internet in order to find other accommodation.

This place is sketchy. Both times I have been there, there have been done unsavory characters about. Think pimps waiting outside of a door for a hooker. I also had a pair of shoes taken from this place. Not sure if they were taken from my room, or left them behind, either way they were gone the next day when I went back. No one contacted me when I called back a few times either. Will not return.

Do not book this hotel! Rude staff, could not check us in. Strung us along for well over an hour and argued with our hotel booking site. Once they finally decided to give us the room we had booked, it took 45 minutes to check us in. Once in the room, it was clear that the room was not well kept. Do not book this hotel.

It was a horrible stay. First of all, I had to wait 10 minutes before someone showed up at the desk when checking in. The person was in the back room and finally showed up after I called the desk and the phone rang like 10 times. Upon entering our room, I noticed that the pillows were all gross with yellow stains and hair inside the pillow cases. The bathroom towels also had yellow stains. Second, the drawers in the kitchen were not clean. It was dirty and had debris. The hallways smelled like cigars. We also did not know that we can get supplies for the kitchen like cups and plates. It was not disclose to us upon checking in. I found out 2 days later by hearing it from another customer staying there. I was willing to overlook all that, but on the last night, my spouse stepped on a piece of glass near the foot of the bed that made her bleed quite a bit. I called the front desk to report the incident and was told that the manager will call me to discuss the incident. It has been 4 days now and no call from the manager. I discussed this situation from 2 different front desk person. They both claim that they will have the manager contact me. I am upset that there was little concern for our safety. We have a small baby that could have stepped on that piece of glass, which shouldn't have been there. I assume that the room was not fully cleaned before we arrived and housekeeping had missed that piece of glass.

Horrible people. Very rude.

The 3rd floor had a horrible smell, and they allow smoking on the 1st floor. 2nd floor was fine. I'd advise to stay away. Because of the accusations of registered sex offenders staying there. I did see some weirdos there.

Good comfort. A bit impersonal. Good for long stay.

We booked two rooms at this hotel through Hotwire. When we arrived the front desk was closed and there was no staff available. We used the service phone and where unable to reach anyone. We even called the hotel phone number only to get an answering machine. Frustrated, we called Hotwire to let them know there was no way for us to check in to the hotel. Hotwire staff was unable to reach the hotel either! So we where forced to check into another hotel that night. The following day we went to the hotel where we spoke with the manager Olivia. She was not helpful in the least. In fact she was very disrespectful as she accused us of not even trying to reach her staff by phone. We informed her that Hotwire staff wasn't even able to reach her staff and it was at that point she began to converse with another associate in a different language, right in front of us. It was obvious she was speaking in a different language for a reason. This experience has left me with a very bad taste in my mouth.

I was really hesitant to stay on the ground floor but everything was Fine and better than big fat fancy 'three — stars' I've stayed at. People were smoking and socializing like feet outside my only window and some weird old lady planted roots right in front of my room while sitting in her car in the A. M. For like an hour or two. The toilet backed up, but got better. Anyways, I can't believe how much better I felt compared to some huge fancier places. I really love the good large — hundreds — of — rooms — three star but this place is somehow better. Go figure.
