Decent for the money and staff is nice. It is older and not as well maintained. Floors made my feet black. Wi-Fi is slow.

The staff is friendly and accommodating. They let us check in many hours early for a small fee. Also the rooms have a fridge and microwave and coffee maker which is a combo that can be hard to find for a decent price. However, there is a gap under the door that a giraffe could fit under and the carpet is so filthy that our feet were all black on day one.

I do not recommend this hotel. They have placed fraudulent charges on my credit card which they are denying, and won't assist with. The hotel itself is "alright". The room was clean, but very old. The air con was VERY loud, and the hotel itself is very run down. It's also in a very sketchy area of Anaheim, and we didn't feel safe at all. The walls were paper thin and we could hear the person next to us opening and closing their door all night. Pay a bit more and stay in a nice hotel!

Stayed there recently… holes in the wall sheer curtains very very wrinkled looked awful… I mistakenly walked barefooted big mistake bottom of my feet were black. Little sugar ants on sink counter… no elevators anywhere… had to carry 40 pound of luggage upstairs to my room. Bed was hard but was bedbug free I checked unopn arriving. Bright side the ac worked and the room was quiet and smoke free. Also the wall paper needs tobe washed very dirty too.

I give it 0 stars! The only reason I have 1 star is because it won’t let me post without giving it a rate. We stayed here in room 206 and our room was HORRIBLE! It smelled humid and the tubs were dirty! It seemed like the only thing they cleaned were the towels! There was also a dead cockroach behind the sofa chair and toe nail clippings in one of the corners or the room, also a used ear plug in the drawer! After I complained another family staying there complained of a flying cockroach in their room! The same day we checked in we saw this and immediately asked for a refund to stay in a better more sanitary hotel and all they could do was offer us another dirty room! WIch was 101! Said if we left we would still be charged for the rest of the time booked. Also on their website it says no credit card charges or fees, they charges us 108 dollars before we even arrived. Never again will my family and I stay here I strongly recommend you don’t either. Horrible experience. If anyone would like to see photos let me know!

In this place there is a SR that discriminates the people of Mexico, it is a dirty place and with cockroaches all over the room. That's why I only stayed one night, a very unpleasant experience.

Hot tub was broken. Was told it was getting fixed and it never did. Room was filthy, on one of the bed sheets had what looked like blood stains on them. We asked to have them changed and when we got back new sheets and bed covers were put on and those also had some sort of red stains on them in different spots. When it was time to check out (noon) we were running a little behind (didn't get out of the room till about 12:15pm so 15 minutes late) and because of that 15 minutes they charged us for an extra day. Will never stay here again, plenty of other reasonably priced places to stay on South Harbor.

Location and price were awesome. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Pool is pretty good sized. My kids enjoyed it and its close to a strip of restaurants and stores. Staff is friendly. Continental breakfast offered.

The bad: Stinky bathrooms with water damage all over. Dirty carpets. Rude nasty front desk people. Groups of men outside all night hollering for prostitutes. The good: Close to everything, nice maintenance fella. Now I realize this is California but in my city I can get a 5 star hotel for this price so. I would not stay here again.

Due to travel delays we arrived late at night and members of my party arrived 2 hours before me. I called the hotel at Midnight to inform them and asked they let the other members of the party in the room. They did not, instead made them sit in the lobby till 2am (my card was charged for the night at 11PM). I also informed the staff we would be checking out a day early and did check out 5am that day. Hotel still billed me for the room for the night we didnt use. The manager of the hotel as refused to refund for the night instead offering a "discount" on our next visit. BTW — when we entered the room, all the lamps were unplugged and on a desk. We were attending a multi-day conference that started early in the morning (with many of the quests of the hotel) so we asked if we could eat at 645 am. We were told no, yet you could see the food was already staged for breakfast. There are other hotels nearby for the same price that understand customer service.

Bed was comfortable with clean comforter and sheets, room was nice but the bathroom needs work. The shower didn’t drain so it was a swamp when we showered. The tub was cracked pretty bad. The continental breakfast was decent and the customer service was good. Overall a good hotel, besides the bathroom looking and being trashy.

Good location, bad staff. Due to weather our flights were delayed and part of my party arrived before me. Even though I called ahead they were forced to sit in the lobby half the night until I arrived (my card had already been billed). I also was over billed. I canceled the last night of our stay, they did not remove the night and even charged an extra $50 without an explanation. Visit the Anaheim Discovery Inn, same price, better service, closer to everything.

Clean rooms and conveniently close to Disney parks.

Not bad. The wall of the room 107 dirty c/ green snot glued together. One thing, I noticed the last one. Everything else is fine.

Great hotel in the center of Anaheim. Only minutes away from Disney. Rooms are not fancy by any means however it’s cozy and clean. Great way to stay in Anaheim while on a budget. Free parking and Wi-Fi is a plus. Did not try the pool (which looks small but ok for a quick soak I guess). Did not try the free breakfast either. Usually stay at 4-5 star hotels and me saying I would stay there again says something!

When we first arrived had a couple of issues with the room went to the front desk and they were more than happy to switch our rooms then and there no hassle.

Room was clean and in a great location near the parks. Continental breakfast included and the rooms were large and beds comfortable. I will happily stay there again!

Rude staff! First of all, if you're a hotel who caters to families with pets, don't hand me a fist full of bags to clean up after my dog. I'm paying a ridiculous amount of money for an old, so-so room, you clean it up. Second, when my 3 year old wets the bed, don't act put out when I ask for a new comforter, and threaten to charge me for cleaning it. After 4 nights of staying and not having a housekeeper come through once. Last, if I want to bring a bagel back to my room for breakfast I should be able to. The staff here are idiotic and haven't got a clue as to what it means to be in the hospitality industry. I didn't expect much from this place and I got a lot less than that. Stay anywhere else. Oh and be careful on your walk back from Disneyland, or you might trip over the homeless guy who sleeps on the ground at the front of the property.

Ok for the price. Not great. But clean and safe.

The room is nice. It is located about half a mile from a Disneyland parking lot where you can catch a shuttle to the park. They provided free breakfast in the morning, donuts, muffins, bananas, toast, cereal and yogurt. We were checked in fairly quickly and thry were willing to let us leave our car in the parking lot even though we were there too early to check in.

Decent hotel room, very small. However it is affordable and within walking distance of Disneyland. Would stay again.

The location is great, the room is spacious and my wife is disabled and the bathroom is perfect for her with a bench and extended shower head. We do wish the hot tub stayed open past 9. Otherwise it is perfect!

Anaheim Express is TRIPLE 5 STARS and the only place in the LA area that I will ever stay at when I am vacationing with my family! Tammy and the rest of the staff are top notch when it comes to customer service. When a family is trying to go to Disneyland on a budget they need to try to save money anywhere they can. Especially when the prices are sky high just to enter the park. Anaheim Express is the spot. Nice clean rooms with an accommodating staff at an affordable price. I want to thank Tammy and her staff for making me feel like my family and I are in safe hands so far from home. Next time we go on Vacation to SoCal I know we will be staying at Anaheim Express Inn (Room # 234 by the pool). Ron & Tricia Smith Flagstaff, Az.

Sorry, wrong rating, its great, 20 minute walk to Disneyland, good parking, 24 hr security, breakfast was enough to kickstart the day, recommend +++++

Not sure how this hotel is rated above a 2 anywhere. The stay was very noisy as we were able to hear conversations in the next room and traffic outside. Beds were very uncomfortable, we arrived to find a dirty sock on the floor (not ours) and there were ants on the bathroom sink. We didn't expect a five star, but this was pretty awful. So we didn't want to stay for the other two nights we had already booked and paid for. But they would not refund the unused two nights. I didn't ask for a free stay or a refund from the sketchy night we did stay, just for those we didn't use. Nope. On a positive note the lobby staff was friendly and gave us the manager's contact information. She won't be in until later today.

Update, my wife and I are checking out after our four day stay. I have to add a baby cockroach in the apple juice at the hotel breakfast, and live bugs in our sink to the list. I would love to hear from management on this. Video and photos in the comments below. **** My wife and I booked a single King bed room, and we got a double queen room. The room is old but has obviously had updates, but it was dirty when we got there, stuff on the floor, spots/stains on the comfor…ters, I would sit in the chair as a dare maybe… It has some great stories to tell I'm sure — based on the stains and wear.
Bathroom is updated, but the toilet paper holder is nearly busted off the wall, and the toilet tank lid is off another model and it doesn't fit. I took pictures of it all but you can't post them in Facebook reviews.
At almost $250 a night — nonrefundable — for four nights, I honestly expected better.
Also the pictures online are a fair bit generous with the size, scale, and location.
Staff so far has been extremely kind and professional but there's nothing they can do to solve the bed situation. I will stay somewhere else next time we visit the convention center or Disneyland.

Overall the experience was good. The rooms were clean and everything was nice when we arrived. They provided free breakfast as many hotels and inns do. The only downsides were the lack of closet (this may not matter for some people however if you bring dress clothes it may be important) and the shower. The faucet in the bathroom leaked and the shower head was REALLY strong. It was almost painful to use, however you got used to it. All thought they were small flaws they did make the experience a bit worse.

The rooms are spacious… they have a small fridge which we opened and was hongeado (looks not to have been cleaned in months). $120 night and includes breakfast from 7am — 9. The breakfast I did not like I think that I was going with the idea of breakfast. Eggs bacon, waffles nose… the breakfast was only breads, cereal, oatmeal, instantania, and bananas that were still green… orange juice I didn't like. Complete breakfast cereal fruit loops… had I known I stay dormidaaa… not that madruge to achieve breakfast and I leave you with this … the truth is, a hotel that I do not recommend.

Checked in late, guy at the desk was great and very friendly. Was exhausted so can't comment on the noise but I heard people walking around outside.

The staff was friendly, funny, and helpful. The room was immaculate, if a little old/dated. The bed was super comfortable. Standard amenities, excellent Wi-Fi. There's an ART bus stop half a block away, but it's close enough to Disneyland, that I just took a cab. The neighbourhood, I'd say was a little dodgy, but I felt safe enough walking to the Arco next door at 11pm. Disabled friendly, plenty of parking, great location. I'll be back!

Cheap prices. It's about what I expected for the prices. It's clean, seemingly safe, and the staff are friendly. You can tell they don't spend a lot of money on repairs as there is a poor patch job on the bathroom door, but I don't care about those things when I am paying for a cheap motel. I appreciate the free continental breakfast. The Wi-Fi is slow. Overall, very happy with the choice.

Not a place for handicapped people. There's no holding bars inside the shower as you display in your pictures, which makes it difficult for me to get In and out. Ramps are far from handicap parking. Just one handicap parking have a ramp next to it.

Ok for a cheap place to stay near Disney… area seemed mostly safe, but if you can afford it recommend a better motel.

The location is great and near may attractions in the area. Wi-Fi works very well. Sufficient on sit parking. Genreally good value for that price.

Nice place. Close to restaurants and grocery shopping. Nice neighborhood. Breakfast was good and varied. Pool close to rooms. Pleasant staff.

Cleanly rooms with the basics and a few extras (coffee maker, hair dryer, shampoo and soap). Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I appreciated the Continental breakfast as well as the provided brochures regarding local attractions and restaurants. We didn't check out the pool, but it looked nice!

No Wi-Fi signal. Dirty room. Rude help. Crack addicts in parking lot. Overcharged for room. Asked for them to help and you get I'm sorry. Told 3.3 star place and it is a 2. Motel 6 is cheaper and cleaner with internet.

It was a good place to stay. Not too far from the psrk. A nice walk to and from. Found we were closer to a lot of things than we realized. Found more restaurants and stores by walking and doing some exploring. Anaheim Express Inn served it's purpose. It was a place to go to at the end of the day and sleep. Get a shower in the morning and head back to the park.

Ugly, dingy room, nasty pool (if that's what you want to call it). Poor lighting and stains on mirror, prior trash left under beds. Only positive is housekeeper was nice and location. My advice. Stay at the beautiful Double Tree across the street.

Near Disneyland. They cleaned the room eveyday. Staff was pleasant.

Technically 4.5 stars. My only major drawback was that the phone didn't work. Internet was spotty but still faster than my apartment. Location QUIET. Room clean. Beds GREAT (unless you sleep on a Tempurpedic)! Staff WONDERFUL and extremely helpful. Place is SAFE. Guests were extremely polite. GREAT pet policies, and this place, unlike others, do not discriminate against cats. (Oh, other hotels will say pet-friendly, but apparently, that only applies to dogs. ) I really enjoyed walking by the rooms where there was a cat sunning in the window. Location is primo for Disneyland and great local restaurants. Parking is plentiful for how compact it was around there. I did not do the complimentary breakfast because of dietary restrictions, but the ice machine only uses distilled water for the best ice cubes I have ever had at a hotel. No chlorine or other people's medications in those puppies for the clearest cubes I've seen.

Great beds, clean, quiet! Wonderful rooms for a decent price. Great staff and ok continental breakfast. Set us up with disney tickets and helped with shuttle. Great place to stay will definitely be back.

While visiting Anaheim to go to Disneyland my girlfriend arrived early to the Inn, after being told by one employee that they could check-in in a few hours they waited forever at Dennys to kill time only to be told by the new queen bee on the front desk that she could not check them in without an additional $20 fee. A steep price considering the entire room is only $70. After trying to reason with the desk clerk, that they were trying to get to Disneyland and that since rooms are available she should allow us to check in regardless of the policy without a fee. I attempted to speak to a manager only to be told that one would not be in until Monday. Apparently this manager works bankers hours and rules with an iron fist because despite the apparent logic and ability to check my girlfriend in early she refused for "fear of her manager". Hotels are in the business of hospitality not swindling their customers out of funds. Or at least most are. Anaheim Express Inn Maingate cared more about policy than customer service and because of that they get a one star review. My girlfriend went on to stay down the road, where apparently they employ people with half a brain or enough brazenness to recognize that a owner and or manager would prefer $70 than $0.

This is not a luxury hotel and I did not expect it for the price. But unlike some of the horror stories I have read in the reviews it was more than adequate. The room was comfortable, clean and relative quiet for its location. Check in was quick, efficient, and the staff friendly. I did not partake in the continental breakfast as I left early in the morning but my overall impression is that I would not hesitate to stay their again for their bargain price and location.
