Not bad for a motel 6. Pool was nice. For done reason they were only taking cash though. Some shady guests but not a problem.

Good service, however it cost extra to have a microwave and mini-fridge which is lightweight insane. However that AC unit did not work very well and the first night of my two nights day I will switch to Rooms to another room with the same problem and then was not able to switch to a room with a working unit so I was given a box fan which was nice but I would have much rather had a working AC unit for the money I paid. On top of that the bottom floor had about four rooms with the doors open and people just going in and out like a block party which was sort of uncomfortable. I would think that the workers would have fixed that problem but they didn't.

This is the best Motel 6 I had ever stayed in. Everyone is so friendly & the room is very clean! I slept like a baby throughout my whole stay. Definitely recommend.

About what you expect for the price. Staff was super friendly and efficient. The walls are paper thin to the point where you can hear and understand conversations of guests in adjoining rooms.

Customer service was great. My room was very clean I have no complaints. The manager was very helpful when needed and had me leaving with a smile.

If I could give 0 I would. I have traveled with M6 before a "light was left on", never have I needed an ID for all persons staying in the room. I'm a disabled vet so having to walk back to car is a true pain. Desk person wasn't the friendliest to work with either. The pool area was clean but the rest of the facility wasn't, trashy and dirty. Vending machines didn't accept larger bills and way overpriced, $2.50 for water. Had to go to deal 3 times to get a card to work, more walking. The rooms were the worst M6 I have ever stayed. Supposedly updated, what decade is that? The sink area, desk, floor, and shower were dirty. The bed made me feel like I was taco meat the way the long ago worn out mattress wrapped around me. Both beds were equally bad. Not good for a bad back, took a week to get over the 2 nights at this horrible motel. There were long term residence that had no respect for overnight guests, partied until 3 AM. Sounded like a bowling alley above us. My wife is hearing impaired and was jarred awake with a loud noise that vibrated our room. I strongly suggest the owners and managers take a trip to the Willows, 30 miles away, M6 to see what a Motel 6 should be. No vacancy or I would never stayed at this sty. As I said I have traveled with M6 for years because of the pet policy. If this was my first stay at a M6 I would pay the extra other chains charge. I would suggest to M6 corporate pull the franchise of this motel, gives them a bad name.

T she made the Hilton feel like the Hilton times to these are one of the best housekeeping stuff that I have ever seen there's no motel that comes even close to it I don't even consider a motel 6 I consider it the Hilton 6 to be honest early Hilton to just because of the great help that I got from the staff everybody else everyone else was not mediocre and not even be low proficient level there at least profession but these two staff members Francisco and Sadie need to be training even the head of housekeeping housekeeping on a national level if not a worldwide level man I just want to thank Motel 6 for these two individuals for making my stay feel like I was in paradise.

Much improved rooms. Two minor issues I have are, one, the room is small with hardly any space left between the A/C unit and the bed. The other, employees on break hang out at the bottom of the stairs smoking and sitting on the steps. I was taking stuff from our vehicle up to the room a few times. Each time, I had to wait for them to get up and give me room to go up the stairs.

I called to reserve this motel for my daughter, Crystalinia. The young lady at the front desk was so polite n helpful. She was kind to my daughter upon check in. I would recommend this Motel 6 to anyone traveling to the Chico California area. Outstanding job!

This is a very "bare bones" motel, but also less expensive than many others. It would be nice if there were hairdryers and coffee makers in the rooms! But the Chico CA Motel 6 where I stayed was very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and courteous. All in all, the Motel exceeded my expectations.

Real good place. I had ten rooms for a basketball tournament there and Chico. The hotel is in a good location right by the freeway and other shopping areas are close by. The staff was cooperative. The rooms were nice and clean.

Looks like room remodeled recently, looks nice, but wish it had a small fridge. I have insulin that needs to be refrigerated. Will be something I will check on before next rez Also, fan in bathroom not fastened, hanging loose, noisy. And sink didn't drain well. Put in a fridge and I'll be back in late May.

The service was fantastic. The lady at the front desk was even able to get us extra towels and pillows in the middle of the night. The room was very clean, and smelled good even on the second day. The wood pergo floors were a great change from carpet, and the heater worked great.

The front desk agent was excellent with her customer service. Very pleasant and tentative to our needs. She even contacted the manager to report that the bedspread had cigarette burns for a no smoking rooms. The manager offered a ten dollar discount of which I declined. I appreciate her promptness to address my concern. Room was very clean. It was a comfortable one night stay. Coming from Hawaii and having worked in the hospitality industry on the executive level, I would recommend Motel 6 and recruit Teng (Forgot her name) to work here in Hawaii. Mahalo.

We were impressed with the accommodations for the price. The room was spotless and the young ladies in the office went the extra mile to help us locate our destination at where we had to be at 7:00 AM the next morning. Their direction were right on. It was very much appreciated. E. Homewood.

Overall the room was fine. I asked for a no smoking room but you could tell that someone had smoked in there. After getting to my room and being there for a few hours the front desk person can up to my room and starting to bang on my door stating that she had forgotten to give me a notice. A notice saying that they might come to my room to clean the AC and I would need to leave for 15 mins. This was unacceptable, I was only there for a night and I kept waiting for someone to bang on my door again. They didn’t end up coming and I realized after I turned in the AC on why they had to clean them. My allergies kicked in full force when I turned it on. Pretty gross. Other than that he place was totally fine. Tv worked, shower was hot, and the bed was comfortable. And minus the banging on my door, the front desk lady was very nice and helpful.

I had this best experience with a lady named Angela. She helped me, and was so kind. Any and all questions I asked she answered them. I would definitely stay at this motel because of how amazing she was to me and my family.

I can't tell you enough how disgusting the smell of the room was. It was a combination of marijuana and dirty pets. The sheets and towels felt dirty and had lots of loose hair in them. I will never stay here again. The grounds (parking lot, sidewalks, stairs) were filthy & stained. Clearly, no pride taken in presenting a decent place to stay. Horrible!

The towels in the bathroom were moist like they had not been completely dried, the bed linens looked stained and dingy, and the room smelled like smoke even though I was in a non smoking room. I had a reservation to come back a few days later and I chose to cancel that reservation and stay elsewhere.

Front desk staff very helpful and friendly the rooms are clean and the staff make sure that the property is quite at night. The manager is very respectful and made it a good stay.

The room smelled of marijuana. There were no trashcans. When I lifted up the ice bucket, there was an ashtray with a cigar butt in it IN A NON-SMOKING ROOM. The guest (s) above us were up all night walking around, dropping things, and moving stuff. The room was not cleaned the second day. Our key did not work the second day because the front desk had only programmed it to work for one day.

The sheets on my bed were dirty and the pillow case had hair. I had to call the front desk for new sheets. Someone did bring the sheets, but had to change them myself. The room was dusty and shower was much smaller then typical hotel rooms. I got some bug bites too. The noise from the highway was also pretty loud. I will not be staying here again. I know this motel is much cheaper then most, but I did expect it to be much cleaner. Not a pleasant experience at all.

All sarcastic remarks are over now, let's focus on the actual good part of the review: #1: The front desk help was actually good at directions. They were very nice and helpful. the pool wasn't too filthy looking. #3: It was, all in all, better than some other Motel 6's I've been to. #4: It's not their fault if the bedding smells like smoke. They don't control everything that goes on on those rooms, and all the bedding gets laundered together so it's bound to get mixed-up. Lastly, you get what you pay for,, I'm grateful for the f fairly inexpensive rooms and the free morning coffee.

This establishment said I broke a mirror. The mirror was cracked when I went into the room. I did not think anything about it as motel 6 rooms consistently have damage. I stay in many of these places throughout California. Another thing I noticed when checking in was the fire alarm panel in the office was in trouble mode. I believe it's a Silent Knight alarm panel. I hope the local fire marshal pays them a visit as they are in violation. Consider that unsafe conditions if you care for your life and your families. I would highly recommend staying at the super 8 next door. Very clean rooms.

Rooms and service were fine but when I got home and looked at my bank statement I was shocked to see that I was charged a huge price for our six day stay… $861.34! There are three separate charges: 9/05 — $411.84 and $358.62; 9/06 when we stayed another day — $90.88. I don't know to whom I need to speak to to get this made right. Please help me!

Fantastic front desk staff! Friendly and helpful getting me checked in to a very nice, very clean and quiet upstairs room. Normally I like downstairs rooms but this was worth the stairs! Great location with good parking. Located a short distance from I-5 and near lots of places to eat. I even found an antiques store nearby! Cute town. I recommend this Motel 6 highly!

The location was very nice. There were diners within walking distance so I could walk over and grab a bite if I wanted to. The room was clean and inviting. The staff was also very nice.

The service was good. The location was nice. When I got out of the shower and grab a towel, I opened it up and I saw a long black hair. I said eff it I'll pick off one black hair. When I picked off at second, third then a fourth and then when I saw small hair I had enough. I threw it on the ground. The floor wasn't clean either. It had foods scraps from previous guest.

Stayed in Chico because I was in an auto accident. Passenger was injured and taken to Enloe Med Center. The Motel 6 was convenient, right off Hwy 99 and a 5 min drive to the hospital. Only in my room to sleep, and shower. Motel 6 fulfilled all my needs.

I booked a non smoking room and someone was smoking in front of the door, then the staff moved me rooms and the next room smelled like smoke and the linen was dirty. The room did not have a blow dryer. The room was non smoking and had an ashtray in there. I will not stay aft any model 6 again very unpleasant.

When I made my reservation, the hotel representative was nice and professional. When I asked if I could possible check in early, she said "yes". When I arrived at 2:15 pm and asked if I could check in — because I had to attend a graduation ceremony and wouldn't be back until about 10:00 pm — she rudely told me that check-in was after 3:00. At any other hotel, the person would have at least said that he or she would check if any rooms were available. If there weren't, then the person would say, "I'm sorry". I know that motel 6 is a "no frills" hotel, but there should still be an emphasis on customer service. I was so tired when I checked in at 11:00 pm. When I checked out, that person was friendly. Other than that, the room was recently renovated and in a good location. It was fairly clean, but the vinyl plank floor was dirty and the bed cover was as well. I would give it 2 stars out of 5. First that nothing listed prices are not real. The room smelled cigarette. I saw two spiders! beds could be better for the price they ask. According to have internet free and it's a lie! It is a minimum amount you have to pay It does not have nor coffee maker hair dryer less microwave oven. Had that would have where warm water for milk for my baby for 5 months but not, tube that go to buy something. Definitely if you come with family and children this motel is not for you. And only recommend if there are no other options.

Room was clean. Had a flat screen TV and all of the channels were clear. No bathtub but renovated showers. Parking was nice.

Room & linen were very clean. The room says it's NON SMOKING but you can smell the STRONG odor of cigarettes as soon as you open the door. I have asthma and that cigarette smell just made my whole stay bad.

Non smoking room smells like smoke. Very loud people, dogs barking banging in the room above at 4 am, sound like they were working in the room.

$79. Nite mare // Immediately I could see the room was far from clean. The face of the Air Conditioner was falling off. As I started to correct it, I noticed thick gobs of, what looked to be long dog hair. Completely smothering the entire intake vents, I mean it was hanging off in clumps. I then pull the 2 filters — blacker then black & so thick with… SICK! I turned to sit on the bed & STOPPED! the blanket that was folded down was laced with DOG hair! I didn't even want to breath the air.

Good price. Heat worked well. Very clean and looks newly renovated. Terrible mattress and thin, worn sheets.

It was better than I expected a Motel 6 to be. I normally stay at the Marriott. The weekend we went to Chico, there were no other hotels available, so we booked the Motel 6. I must say, I was please at the newly renovated rooms. The rooms were small and the beds were up against the wall on both sides of the room, but the bathroom was updated with new shower, sink, towel rack and fixtures. The bedspreads were clean and the floor was wood laminate which I liked over dingy hotel carpeting any day. The was absolutely no art on the walls whatsoever. It made the room feel very plain and basic, but… it is the Motel 6 so I didn't feel that was unacceptable. I was disappointed that the pool was closed as it was 85 degrees that weekend. Don't understand why they would close the pool so early in the season when, clearly, the weather was still very nice. Overall, all, our stay was very good as I felt the rooms were clean, albeit very basic.

We were a little disappointed with this Motel 6. The rooms and beds were small and it was not very clean. There was dirt in the corner of the floor and dusty under the beds. There was no refridgerater or microwave provided as with most motels and there as no facial size wash cloths.

Absolutely the wost motel 6 I have ever stayed at. The room was very small and not that clean. As for customer service a rock would be more friendly.

Location was perfect, plenty of parking. Office staff was more than helpful and pleasant checking in and out. Bathrooms appeared remodeled with new showers and utilities. Wish they would have put in a man's size toilet, taller people do appreciate creature comforts such as a comfortable seat. The TV remote could use a new battery or repairs. The window AC/Heater is way to close to the bed, leaving no room to walk on that side of bed. The room appeared well maintained and very clean.

Checking in was a breeze, the lady at the front desk was more than pleasant and assured me I made the right choice in staying here. The room was more clean than I expected and was pleased with the overall experience.

The staff at that motel6 are awful very racsist manger is unpleasant will not acknowledge you if you are of different creed race she is unreasonable and very rude. I will be filing a corperate complaint about the day staff of this motel 6. Never experienced such manorism representing the company of Motel 6 the staff is very sad my feelings are hurt and Im ashamed for them.

Horrible! Sheets felt dirty itchy and greasy. Room smelled of chemicals, floor was sticky, towels were yellow and felt like sand paper, was close to highway 99 and was extremely loud threw the thin walls. Sketchy people walking past the room all night. Horrible gross motel! Do not stay here! Pay 10 more dollars and go to super 8.
