I am currently a guest now here. As the stay continues I'm dreading walking in to this lobby to get to my room. The admin at this hotel MUST BE DRILLING their staff to POUND THE GUESTS OVER THE HEAD TO WEAR MASKS despite CDC lifting the mask mandates in all counties. The harassment has gotten so bad and we've only been here for 24 hours, that we've had at least a dozen employees while drinking, eating, waiting for an Uber pick up to walk up to us and command us to put on our masks. This is a personal choice by this hotel, it is not a mandate or a federal law any longer. Today I was drinking my coffee in the lobby when I was told that you're not allowed to drink or eat in the lobby because you cannot put your mask on and drink or eat. I was told to go to the dining hall, outside, or to my room. Our observations have been that every guest that's been down in the lobby at the time we were were additionally being harassed at the check-in, waiting by the doors, in the dining hall. It's over the top & I i've been so angered by this I Felt compelled to write this review to warn other travelers of this extreme behavior. I just went over to the mall here in this county, not one person is wearing a mask, every restaurant we're in no one's masked. And even if this hotel wants to keep the policy in place, they are physically harassing people. Their hotel manager joseph Murillo needs to go through customer training again. When my husband tried to question the mandate lifting. Joseph ran from him without answering. And promptly walked to another man & began the mask rant. Meanwhile — * people at check-in who do not have their masks because they're following the CDC guidelines of no longer needing it, are told they must wear one. There is a basket that says "we supply free masks for those who don't have one. " The basket has been empty for the last 48 hours we have been here. * air considering was broken in our room *Paint and construction with HORRIFIC fumes in all the hallways *they give instructions to leave your dirty towels & trash in hallway for pickup, & they took our towels but didn't give us any others. I guess they expect you to dry off with the sheets? Had new ones sent up. *elevator out of service to get to room *rude employees — we are really nice individuals, who have traveled all over and stayed in amazing hotels and substandard hotels and I've never had to leave reviews. This experience has been so bad and the employees so egregious with their mask fanatic behavior that we are convinced someone must have filed a lawsuit for coronavirus on this hotel that's how aggressive they are. think twice before booking here. WE ARE LOOKING TO LEAVE TODAY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE NEARBY Unless you're okay with being harassed while walking, eating, drinking, talking in their lobby, hallways, elevator etc. Don't come here. In two years of living with pandemic conditions we have NEVER experienced aggression like this. And the mandates are over!
